Trevor Booker had another strong performance on Wednesday with 15 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and one steal in 37 minutes.
Booker missed one game due to illness this weekend, but since returning he's averaged 14.5 points, 13.0 boards, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals, while hitting 12-of-21 field goals. If you're waiting for his production to drop off, you might be here a while. Dec 7 - 11:43 PM

Trevor Booker (illness) returned from a one-game absence in Monday's 118-113 loss to the Wizards and double-doubled with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

He didn't miss a beat, shooting 6-of-9 from the field with one assist, one steal, two blocks and four turnovers in 31 minutes. Booker has been a stud all season and his owners should be pumped that his minutes are safe following the news that the Rockets matched the Nets offer for restricted free agent Donatas Motiejunas.
Dec 5 - 11:04 PM

Trevor Booker (illness) is starting vs. the Wizards on Monday, as expected.

Anthony Bennett will move to the bench. Booker only missed one game and there's no word of any limitations. He's been one of the biggest surprises of the season and the good news is that the Rockets matched Brooklyn's offer for Donatas Motiejunas.
Dec 5 - 6:44 PM

Trevor Booker (illness) will play on Monday vs. the Wizards.

Booker missed Saturday's game but is ready to roll on Monday. He has been quietly consistent and productive all season. Booker is averaging career-highs in points (10.4), rebounds (8.3), steals (2.1), and assists (2.4), while shooting well above his career marks from the field and the free throw line. Anthony Bennett started on Saturday but will be relegated back to the bench (and fantasy obscurity) on Monday.
Dec 5 - 11:37 AM

Trevor Booker (illness) will not play against the Bucks on Saturday.

The Nets are also without Chris McCullough for this one, so they'll only have Anthony Bennett, Luis Scola and Justin Hamilton as their bench bigs. Booker was playing extremely well and played 31.2 minutes per game in the last five, so there's a big hole to fill tonight. Justin Hamilton figures to benefit most regardless of who coach Kenny Atkinson starts next to Brook Lopez.
Dec 3 - 3:38 PM

Trevor Booker hit 7-of-13 shots for 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals in 42 minutes of Tuesday's exciting 127-122 double-overtime win against the Clippers.

This was quite a win for the Nets and Booker's strong line will be lost in all the attention Sean Kilpatrick's 38-point game will get. Booker had just eight points and eight boards in his last game, but has now double-doubled in three of his last four games, and has seven of them on the season.
Nov 29 - 11:09 PM

Trevor Booker double-doubled against the Pacers on Friday, scoring 10 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and three turnovers in 28 minutes.

He shot 5-of-8 from the field and continues to play the best ball of his life. This was his sixth double-double of the season and his seventh game with three or more steals. We keep waiting for him to slow down, but it hasn't happened yet. He's arguably been the top waiver wire add of the season as he's currently holding onto top-30 value in standard leagues.
Nov 25 - 11:58 PM

Trevor Booker kept his career year going during a 111-92 loss to the Celtics on Wednesday, scoring 18 points with 12 rebounds, three assists, four steals and one 3-pointer.

He had one of the funnier shots of the night when Tyler Zeller knocked Booker's headband over his eyes and he shot it blindfolded -- he missed the shot (video in link below). Booker has been seeing everything very well this year and amazingly has third-round value in standard leagues. He's easily been the pickup of the year so far.
Nov 24 - 12:14 AM

Trevor Booker got things back on track on Sunday, going 7-of-9 from the field on his way to 16 points, four boards, one assist, two 3-pointers, two steals and one turnover in 26 minutes.

This was a nice bounce-back performance after Friday’s four-point dud, and he’s been good more often than not this season. Booker’s primary source of fantasy value has been his ability to offer elite steals numbers (1.8) from the power forward position, and as long as he’s starting and getting minutes in the mid-20s, he should be able to keep it up.
Nov 20 - 6:11 PM

Trevor Booker scored four points in 22 minutes during a 124-105 loss to the Thunder on Friday, adding four rebounds, one assist and one steal.

The Nets went small more than usual and this game got to garbage time. Booker has slightly cooled off in the past 10 days, but he's still holding value as a top-50 guy on the season. While he won't keep that value, he has to be owned in all leagues. Additionally, the Nets are flying in pace after ranking in the bottom 10 for each of the previous eight seasons.
Nov 19 - 12:40 AM

Trevor Booker double-doubled vs. the Lakers on Tuesday with 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one triple in 29 minutes.

He had a pair of turnovers, but shot 5-of-8 from the field and grabbed three offensive rebounds. This was his fourth double-double of the season and he's thriving in his role as the starting PF in Brooklyn, returning top-35 value in standard leagues.
Nov 16 - 1:26 AM

Trevor Booker scored 19 points with eight rebounds, four assists, one block and no turnovers against the Suns on Saturday.

This is pretty much the norm on Cook Book. He has to be owned everywhere right now, especially with the Nets now at 4-5. Booker has been an early-round player this far and is in the mix for pickup of the year.
Nov 13 - 2:23 AM

Trevor Booker scored 15 points with nine rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block in 27 minutes vs. the Wolves on Tuesday.

He was 7-of-13 from the field and was second on the team with +/- rating of +15. He was averaging 8.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 0.8 blocks and 2.0 steals prior to Tuesday, so tonight's line was no fluke. He shouldn't be on your waiver wire.
Nov 8 - 10:20 PM

Trevor Booker double-doubled vs. the Hornets on Friday with 12 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 28 minutes.

It was his third double-double through six games and he's consistently getting minutes in the high 20s. He's the only Nets' PF that is producing right now and needs to be owned in standard leagues until he cools off.
Nov 4 - 10:31 PM

Trevor Booker was held to five points in Monday's blowout loss to the Bulls, adding eight rebounds and three steals in 19 minutes.

He was 2-of-7 from the field but saved his line with the three steals. Booker was coming off two straight double-doubles, so his owners should cut him some slack, especially when you factor in the blowout. He's a low-end hold in standard leagues.
