Trevor Booker started in place of Derrick Favors (back) on Saturday vs. the Thunder and scored 12 points with three boards, one steal and one 3-poiner in 33 minutes.
This wasn't a great line by any means, but the Thunder have some serious size in the paint and this wasn't a great matchup for Booker. It isn't clear if Favors will need to miss any more games, but Booker will be worth a look in most leagues if the Jazz keep Favors on the shelf. On a side note, Booker had one of the quotes of the night when he took a subtle shot at former teammate Enes Kanter. "He did what he always does," Booker said. "He got his stats. He didn't defend. He took an L [a loss)." Mar 28 - 11:57 PM

Trevor Booker will start against the Thunder on Saturday.

He should get minutes in the 24-30 range tonight and will likely have a good chance at a double-double. Although, these are the two best teams for rebounding, so a double-double won't be easy to come by.
Mar 28 - 8:20 PM

Trevor Booker scored six points on 2-of-5 shooting with five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in Friday's loss to the Nuggets.

Booker could slide into some extra minutes if Derrick Favors (back) misses some time and though he has never been a big minute guy he'd probably be worth the plug-and-play.
Mar 28 - 5:04 AM

Trevor Booker is hopeful that the Jazz will bring him back next season.

"I definitely want to be back," Booker said. "I love this place. I have great teammates, and I see big things for the team. I want to be a part of that." The Jazz hold a team option on Booker for next season, but given how highly everyone thinks about him in Utah, it's hard to imagine him leaving. Booker has emerged as the primary big off the bench since Enes Kanter bolted town, but he is still only averaging 18.6 minutes over his last five games. If Derrick Favors or Rudy Gobert ever pick up an injury, Booker would be worth a look in most leagues, but he is firmly off the radar as of right now.
Mar 18 - 9:23 AM

Trevor Booker had 11 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes of Wednesday's loss.

Booker came off the bench and helped out Derrick Favors, who was in foul trouble with five of them. Favors still had 16 points, five boards and a block, and when combined with phenom Rudy Gobert, makes Booker an afterthought on most nights.
Mar 4 - 10:48 PM

Trevor Booker had his best game in a while on Saturday vs. the Bucks, scoring 12 points with six boards, two steals and one block in 27 minutes.

It was the most minutes he had played since Dec. 1, and it was also the most points he has scored in the month of February. Booker hasn't yet capitalized on the departure of Enes Kanter, but now that he has become the first big off the bench for Utah, owners in deeper leagues will want to keep an eye on him moving forward.
Mar 1 - 12:50 AM

Trevor Booker scored six points with five rebounds and two steals against the Mavs on Wednesday.

With Enes Kanter likely out of the picture, Booker should have minutes in the 20s headed his way. He has season averages of 7.0 points, 4.4 boards, 0.4 blocks and 0.5 steals on 51.6 percent from the field. He could be a 10-8 guy, so give him a look in deep leagues.
Feb 12 - 1:10 AM

Trevor Booker scored 17 points off the bench on Friday against the Warriors, hitting 7-of-11 shots (including two threes) with seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 22 minutes.

Booker matches up pretty well against the Warriors and had himself a night. Unfortunately he's going to eat last in the Jazz frontcourt, so we'll need to see some more of this before getting behind an add.
Jan 31 - 2:30 AM

Trevor Booker had eight points and nine rebounds in 19 minutes off Utah's bench on Wednesday.

He somehow manages to post decent numbers on most nights, despite having to battle with Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert for minutes. He'll need one of those guys to suffer an injury before you want to think about picking him up.
Jan 29 - 2:52 AM

Trevor Booker (flu) returned to action on Friday, scoring three points on 1-of-6 shooting with two rebounds in 14 minutes.

Booker's only make was a three and he looks like the odd man out now that Rudy Gobert is becoming one of the Jazz's most irreplaceable players.
Jan 17 - 2:13 AM

Trevor Booker (flu) is probable for Friday's game against the Lakers.

Booker is going to struggle to find minutes with Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, and Rudy Gobert all healthy and ahead of him in the rotation. Feel free to leave him on the waiver wire in standard leagues.
Jan 15 - 2:49 PM

Trevor Booker (flu) will not play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

He was considered doubtful so this shouldn't take fantasy owners by surprise, and his absence leaves a few extra minutes for Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert. Booker has a few extra days to recover with Utah off until they host the Lakers on Friday.
Jan 13 - 7:09 PM

Trevor Booker (flu) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

Booker didn't participate in shootaround on Tuesday and is looks to be in danger of missing the Jazz' game against the Warriors. Booker's likely absence should open up more time for Rudy Gobert and Enes Kanter Tuesday night and both make for strong fantasy plays.
Jan 13 - 1:25 PM

Trevor Booker hit a wild over-his-head shot with 0.2 seconds left on the shot clock after an inbounds pass, finishing with eight points, nine rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes.

It was amazing and the video is attached in the link below. Booker has played very well since Enes Kanter (ankle) went down, but he is going to have a tough time getting minutes with Rudy Gobert stepping up and getting a bigger piece of the pie.
Jan 10 - 1:46 AM

Trevor Booker scored 15 points with eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes against the Bulls.

He has added a nice little jumper to his game and is probably being overshadowed by the Utah young guns. Booker should have some low-end value while Enes Kanter (ankle) is out, but he'll likely have less playing time later on because Rudy Gobert has to play.
