Trevor Booker played 33 minutes in a start on Monday and had 16 points, 13 boards, two assists and two steals against the Nets.
Nene has been shut down and Booker is likely going to have a similar opportunity on Wednesday. Booker is worth a look, but going up against the Bulls on Wednesday isn't the same as going against Kris Humphries. Apr 15 - 10:26 PM

Date:

Trevor Booker played seven minutes against the Knicks on Tuesday and had two points with two boards.

He bruised his tailbone on Sunday due to a collision in the paint with Courtney Lee. Booker is playing just 18 minutes per game this year and has no fantasy value while the other Washington big men are healthy.
Apr 9 - 11:44 PM

Trevor Booker (tailbone) is questionable to play in Tuesday's game vs. the Knicks.

Booker is "sore" after getting kneed in the tailbone during Sunday's game, in which he played only six minutes. If he can't suit up, the Wizards will have a few extra minutes for Kevin Seraphin, Nene, Emeka Okafor and Jan Vesely.
Apr 8 - 5:59 PM

Trevor Booker went to the locker room during the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. Boston with a bruised tailbone.

He had a small collision in the paint with Courtney Lee, then went to the bench to get checked out before heading back to the locker room. Kevin Seraphin, Nene and Emeka Okafor should help fill in while Booker is on the mend.

Trevor Booker scored four points on 2-of-6 shooting with six rebounds and no steals or blocks in 27 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Booker has been on the radar in very deep leagues but we've seen enough that owners can safely leave him on the wire in most formats.
Mar 18 - 11:10 PM

Trevor Booker grabbed 13 boards to go with two points and one block in 27 minutes against the Hornets on Friday.

He's coming off a double-double on Wednesday and is coming around. Booker still has a long way to go to get on the radar in standard leagues since the Wizards have a mess in the frontcourt. Kevin Seraphin (10 points and one board in 18 minutes), Emeka Okafor (four points, two boards and one block) and Nene (nine points, two boards and two blocks) could all take a small hit with Booker becoming a factor, though.
Mar 15 - 10:23 PM

Trevor Booker hit 4-of-5 shots for season highs of 13 points and 12 rebounds in 22 minutes of Wednesday's win.

Don't get too excited, as this was just his fifth game in double figures scoring of the season, and first since Feb. 18. This was his second double-double of the season, but the first one came back on Nov. 3 in the second game of the season. In other words, forget about Booker for now.
Mar 13 - 10:20 PM

Trevor Booker started on Wednesday for Nene, who was out with a shoulder injury, and had four points and five rebounds in 17 minutes.

Kevin Seraphin, who had played a total of 10 minutes over his last four games, had 12 points and three rebounds on 6-of-10 shooting in 17 minutes, and both big men would be worth a look if Nene is ever shut down for the season. But as of now, Nene is still the player to own here, despite tonight's disappointing DNP.
Feb 28 - 4:29 AM

Trevor Booker will get the start in place of Nene (shoulder) against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Nene was expected to play but was downgraded to a game-time call about an hour before tip-off and ruled out shortly after that. Booker last started in the Wizards' seventh game of the season and this could be a nice opportunity for him to build on the expanded minutes he's been getting as of late. He's not worth owning yet, but owners should keep an eye on him, especially considering Nene's constant health concerns.
Feb 27 - 6:54 PM

Trevor Booker had 10 points and six rebounds in 20 minutes on Tuesday.

He played a lot more than Kevin Seraphin and is finally getting healthy. He's still not worth owning, but owners should keep an eye on him going forward.
Feb 19 - 10:39 PM

Trevor Booker (wrist) was active Wednesday against the Knicks.

Booker was active Monday as well but received a DNP-CD. If he does get on the court Wednesday, it's only likely to be a few minutes off the bench.
Feb 6 - 6:44 PM

Trevor Booker (wrist) is expected to return on Monday.

He may only play a few minutes off the bench but it's nice to see him healthy enough to contribute.
Feb 4 - 5:51 PM

Trevor Booker (wrist) is doubtful to play on Monday.

Booker didn't play on Saturday, but the oft-injured big man has lost whatever fantasy appeal he previously held when the season began.
Feb 4 - 11:20 AM

Trevor Booker (sore wrist) won't play vs. the Spurs on Saturday.

This comes out of the blue but it shouldn't impact any fantasy lineups, as Booker hasn't scored double-digit points since early November. Consider him day-to-day.
Feb 2 - 8:27 PM

Trevor Booker is "not quite in full game shape yet" after returning from his ankle and knee injuries.

It's expected, but also worth noting. Booker has averaged 14.5 minutes per game in January, so he's waiver wire fodder right now.
