Trevor Booker scored eight points with nine rebounds and two steals in his return on Saturday during a 112-105 loss to the Hornets.
The Nets are likely going to manage him for most of the season, especially on back-to-back sets. Booker is still posting seventh-round value in his last 10 active games, so he's still been worthy of ownership in all leagues. Jan 21 - 10:10 PM

Trevor Booker will start against the Hornets on Saturday.

After a day off, Booker should be ready for minutes in the upper 20s. With Justin Hamilton (rest) out, we should see Rondae Hollis-Jefferson play almost all four again tonight. Booker is trending down, but he's still worth owning.
Jan 21 - 5:59 PM

Trevor Booker (rest) will not play Friday night vs. New Orleans.

Friday is the first game of a back-to-back, which likely factored into Brooklyn's decision to sit Booker. Booker has struggled a bit of late. He is averaging just 8.8 points while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 25 percent from the free-throw line over the Nets last four games. Justin Hamilton will start in his place. Luis Scola and Quincy Acy should also some extra minutes off the bench. Booker should be ready to bounce back Saturday vs. Charlotte.
Jan 20 - 6:43 PM

Trevor Booker gained some traction vs. Houston on Sunday, scoring 18 points on 8-of-15 shooting with five boards, three steals, two assists, one 3-pointer and two turnovers.

The veteran forward played 26 minutes and this is a welcome return to form, since he'd averaged a mere 6.0 points in his previous three games. The steals were also a great sight, having been a staple of Booker's value all season, and Quincy Acy's recent addition to the team doesn't seem like it will be an issue.
Jan 15 - 9:21 PM

Trevor Booker scored eight points with 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and no turnovers.

He missed Tuesday's game due to a minor hip contusion from a rough fall on Sunday. Booker has been arguably the pickup of the year in fantasy so far with his six-round value, but he will likely trend down. His owners will have to make sure he's playing on Friday in a back-to-back set.
Jan 12 - 10:31 PM

Trevor Booker (hip) said that he will play on Thursday vs. the Pelicans.

He added that his hip is feeling better, and this isn't a huge surprise after he was upgraded to probable the day before. Fantasy owners can safely deploy Booker back in active lineups. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will likely shift back to the bench.
Jan 12 - 11:42 AM

Trevor Booker (hip) is probable for Thursday's game against the Pelicans.

His injury from Sunday never seemed like a big concern. As we all know, the Nets are extremely careful with injured players, so Booker may have been somewhat close to 100 percent for Tuesday. He should be back and is likely to play minutes in the mid 20s. While he is trending down, Booker should still be owned in all leagues.

Trevor Booker (hip) said he thinks he can play on Thursday vs. the Pelicans.

He added that his hip is feeling better, so his injury will likely only cost him one game. With Booker expected back, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will likely return to the bench on Thursday.
Jan 10 - 10:36 PM

Trevor Booker (hip) will not play Tuesday night vs. the Hawks.

Booker injured his hip in the first half of Sunday's game vs. Philly. He was initially ruled out but later returned. He downplayed the injury afterward, but is obviously not fully healthy. Justin Hamilton, who has played well of late, drew the start last time Booker did not play. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and even newly signed Quincy Acy will also likely see more minutes than previously expected.
Jan 10 - 6:04 PM

Trevor Booker (hip) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.

Booker was able to practice on Monday, and he downplayed the injury saying it's "just a little sore," but we should get a better idea on his availability following Tuesday morning's shootaround. If he's out, Justin Hamilton and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson could see an uptick in minutes. Stay tuned.

Trevor Booker said that he doesn't think his hip injury is too serious.

"Just a little sore hip coming into the game, and then I fell on it, made it worse,’’ Booker said after Sunday's game. "It was pretty tender. I just fell on it. I think it’s just like a bone bruise. I don’t think it’s anything serious." If Booker is held out of Tuesday's game vs. the Hawks, Justin Hamilton could see some minutes next to Brook Lopez and the Nets could go small with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the four. For what it's worth, Booker was able to practice on Monday, but he wants to see how his hip responds in the morning.
Jan 9 - 11:29 AM

Trevor Booker (hip) returned to Sunday's loss to the 76ers and finished with four points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 18 minutes.

Booker had a tough fall and was initially ruled out for the remainder of the game, but he eventually made his way back to the court, which is a good sign regarding his status for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.
Jan 8 - 3:56 PM

Trevor Booker (left hip contusion) will not return to Sunday's game vs. the 76ers.

He had a rough fall in the first half and was hobbling for a few possessions after that, but he did stay in the game and didn't get ruled out until after halftime. This injury doesn't sound serious, so consider Booker day-to-day. Although, we all know the Nets are extremely cautious with their injuries, so he could miss time. He finishes with zero points, three assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block in 15 minutes. Justin Hamilton and Hollis-Jefferson could gain some value while Booker is out.
Jan 8 - 1:40 PM

Trevor Booker scored 16 points with six rebounds and two 3-pointers in 20 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday.

The Nets are going to lighten the minutes of their guys this weekend, so that explains the drop in playing time. They may get more run at home on Friday, but DFS owners may want to steer clear. Booker is still a must-start in season-long leagues.
Jan 5 - 9:47 PM

Trevor Booker went off against his former Utah teammates on Monday, scoring 17 points with 15 rebounds in 34 minutes.

Booker played over 34 minutes for just the third time this season, so it's obvious coach Kenny Atkinson let him go to work tonight. He hit 6-of-14 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line with a pair of assists, one block and a triple, and this comes on the heels of his previous revenge game when he dropped 16 points in 20 minutes against the Wizards on Friday. Keep this in mind when the Nets play the Wizards again on Feb. 26.
