Nemanja Bjelica scored 17 points with seven rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers in 21 minutes against the Knicks on Friday.
He got a little bump in playing time because the Wolves were trailing and Gorgui Dieng was in foul trouble. Bjelica wasn't playing well coming into this game, so we'll have to see it again before moving the needle on him. Although, the Wolves losing so many games could help him get minutes. Nemanja Bjelica scored three points with two rebounds, one block and two steals in 13 minutes against the Suns on Friday.

He's cooled off since the career game back on Nov. 13. The good news for Bjelica is that he is getting some run at small forward, so that'll help his chances for minutes. He doesn't have much value now, but that would change with any injury in the 2-5 spots in the starting lineup.
Nov 26 - 1:56 AM

Nemanja Bjelica stuffed the stat sheet in his first career start on Sunday, posting a career-high 24 points on 9-of-15 FGs with five 3-pointers, eight boards, three assists, three steals and one block.

Minnesota was playing without Zach LaVine (knee), Shabazz Muhammad (sore right knee) and Brandon Rush (toe), so coach Tom Thibodeau opted for Bjelica at SF and Andrew Wiggins at SG. Bjelica was very aggressive and he played some point-forward tonight, but it's hard to get too excited in standard leagues while LaVine and Muhammad are day-to-day. Most owners should just keep an eye on him.
Nov 13 - 10:06 PM

Nemanja Bjelica will slide into the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Lakers with Zach LaVine (knee) unavailable.

Bjelica could see a decent amount of minutes tonight with LaVine, Brandon Rush (toe) and Shabazz Muhammad (knee) all unavailable, but Kris Dunn is likely the guy that benefits most sans LaVine. The Timberwolves will roll out a starting five of Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins, Bjelica, Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns for Sunday's game, so Bjelica could be worth a punt play in DFS.

Nemanja Bjelica played 22 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday with 14 points, eight rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers.

The Wolves were playing from behind and went to Bjelica more in the second half. He's still just stuck in one position at power forward, but Bjelica may have enough per-minute output to have value in deeper leagues.
Nov 3 - 11:58 PM

Nemanja Bjelica continued his eye-catching preseason on Friday, scoring 14 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Not that preseason plus-minus matters, but Belly's plus-38 in 26 minutes is something else. Bjelica didn't shoot the ball too well this month, but he's added so much to his game. In his seven outings, he averaged 10.9 points, 4.3 boards, 1.9 dimes, 1.1 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.7 treys in 23.5 minutes. His minutes will be capped because he's only playing power forward, but Bjelica could be on the radar for 16-team leagues for potential per-minute value.
Oct 21 - 10:48 PM

Nemanja Bjelica got the start on Sunday and turned in 11 points, two 3-pointers, six rebounds, three assists, one block and four turnovers in 28 minutes.

Tom Thibodeau seems to favor Bjelica and he's poised for a steady role with the second unit. A whopping 51 percent of his shot attempts have come beyond the arc this preseason, putting him on the radar as a 3-point specialist.
Oct 16 - 9:41 PM

Nemanja Bjelica scored 12 points in 26 minutes against the Heat on Saturday, adding five rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Coach Tom Thibodeau loves him and it sounds like he's going to be in the rotation. Still, it'll be tough to draft Bjelica in almost any league. Hopefully he doesn't eat into Gorgui Dieng's minutes like last year.
Oct 8 - 11:58 PM

Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau recently praised Nemanja Bjelica's playmaking ability and "very unique skill set."

"I’m excited about [Bjelica]," Thibodeau said. "He’s had a great summer. He’s in really good shape. He can shoot the three, he can put it on the floor. The one thing that is probably overlooked is his playmaking ability. You can run pick-and-roll with him. He’s got great vision, he can pass over people." He's worth monitoring closely, but Bjelica faces serious competition for minutes on a roster that includes Karl-Anthony Towns, Gorgui Dieng, Andrew Wiggins and Shabazz Muhammad.
Sep 25 - 9:45 PM

Nemanja Bjelica will not play for Serbia at the Olympics.

He's reportedly dealing with a leg issue, so he will spend several weeks in the USA rehabbing his injury. Bjelica wasn't a consistent part of the rotation for Minnesota during his rookie season, so minutes might not be easier to find next season if the Wolves add a big through the draft or free agency.
Jun 11 - 9:12 AM

Nemanja Bjelica said that he's happy to be in Minnesota.

"At the end of the day, I’m happy to be here," Bjelica said. "I belong in this league. I compete with the best players. Of course, I have some up and downs. This is normal. I’m just happy because I finish season in good way, like positive." Bjelica had a decent start and finish to the 2015-16 season, but he was a ghost from December to March. He will likely have a decent role off the bench next season, but that could change depending on what the Wolves do in the draft and in free agency.
Apr 17 - 10:17 AM

Nemanja Bjelica was effective off the bench on Monday against the Rockets, grabbing a career-high 14 rebounds with 11 points, one assist and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.

That’s back-to-back double-doubles after posting just one all season before Saturday. Bjelica also scored a career-high 18 points on Thursday, so he’s having some nice bookends to his first season after a nice start. The problem was the other 50 games in between, so he is unlikely to be worthy of drafting next year.
Apr 12 - 12:21 AM

Nemanja Bjelica scored 11 points with 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

It's just the second double-double of his career and this might have been his best game. Bjelica is coming off a career-high 18 points on Thursday, so he's closing out his rookie season on a high note. That said, he really fell off from December to March.
Apr 10 - 1:38 AM

Nemanja Bjelica scored a career-high 18 points against the Kings on Thursday with four rebounds, two assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

He turned in a tidy 114.3 effective field goal percentage in this win. Bjelica was one of the most efficient players back in November, but his defensive screw-ups and foot injury derailed his season. The former EuroLeague MVP has some work to do before he has value in fantasy leagues again.
Apr 8 - 1:08 AM

Nemanja Bjelica scored 15 points with eight rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Jazz on Friday.

He was one of the most efficient shooters back in November, but coach Sam Mitchell went away from Bjelica since January. Gorgui Dieng was in foul trouble for this game, so don't overreact to Bjelica playing well in his game.
