Wolves coach Sam Mitchell said that Nemanja Bjelica is "struggling a little bit."
"Bjelica’s been struggling a little bit," Mitchell said. "It happens during the season. The merry-go-round continues to go around. Bjlelica might not be on it right now. But something will happen at a certain point where he has a chance to get back on." Bjelica picked up a DNP-CD on Wednesday vs. the Clippers, as Mitchell decided to give his minutes to Damjan Rudez. Bjelica is safe to drop in almost all leagues. Feb 6 - 10:24 AM

Nemanja Bjelica scored 11 points in 23 minutes off the Wolves' bench on Wednesday, hitting 3-of-5 shots with three boards, three assists and one steal.

Before you get excited, realize that this was his first double-digit performance since Nov. 29. Bjelica hasn't played 30 minutes in a game for nearly six weeks and he's unlikely to emerge with standard-league appeal while the Wolves' frontcourt has any semblance of health.
Jan 28 - 12:18 AM

Sam Mitchell said Nemanja Bjelica's confidence is starting to return.

Bjelica has now played at least 23 minutes in three of his last four games, but he isn't doing much with his increased time on the floor. During that stretch, he's averaging just 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and a steal with 1.5 3-pointers. It's going to take more than Bjelica's confidence coming back for him to register on the fantasy radar again, but it's a step in the right direction.
Jan 18 - 1:44 PM

Nemanja Bjelica played 24 minutes against the Thunder on Friday with five points, five boards, four assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

He is getting minutes again and is taking minutes away from Gorgui Dieng at power forward like back in November. Still, Bjelica isn't a pickup yet in most leagues.
Jan 15 - 10:10 PM

Nemanja Bjelica struggled with foul trouble on Wednesday, but still chipped in six points on a pair of 3-pointers with three rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.

He might have played more if he hadn't racked up five fouls, and he's now a combined 6-of-7 from downtown in the Wolves' past three games. The Wolves rank 30th in threes per game (5.0) so it's possible that Bjelica's sharp-shooting will earn him a bigger role, but for now most owners should take a wait-and-see approach.
Jan 14 - 12:40 AM

Nemanja Bjelica played 10 minutes on Friday against the Cavs with three rebounds and one block.

He did play in the second quarter because Gorgui Dieng was in some foul trouble. Bjelica still has his work cut out for himself for regular minutes.
Jan 8 - 10:59 PM

Nemanja Bjelica was a DNP-CD on Wednesday.

The Wolves used Gorgui Dieng at power forward for all of his minutes, so that means Bjelica is stuck right now. The former EuroLeague MVP was off to a nice start, but he's out of the rotation for now.
Jan 7 - 12:29 AM

Nemanja Bjelica was back in the rotation on Monday with five points, two rebounds, three rebounds and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes.

He played less than nine minutes in four of his last five games, but he played OK tonight and saw all of his minutes at power forward. Bjelica is still not a pickup and Shabazz Muhammad is clearly ahead of him.
Jan 4 - 10:43 PM

Wolves coach Sam Mitchell admitted that Nemanja Bjelica is struggling right now.

"Well, he’s struggling right now, that’s obvious," Mitchell said. "He’s probably never struggled like this before. He’s probably always been the better player on his teams or one of the better players on the floor. Now he looks out there and a lot of nights he’s giving up strength and quickness and size, so it’s a learning curve to play in this league." Bjelica has fallen out of the rotation in Minnesota, but he is worth keeping an eye on down the stretch if the Wolves decide to throw in the towel on the season.
Jan 1 - 9:45 AM

Nemanja Bjelica played 10 minutes off the bench on Wednesday with two points and one steal.

He has really fallen on his face and has hit the rookie wall. Bjelica is struggling in the team defense side of things and he's not doing much as a scorer either. He can be dropped just about everywhere now.

Nemanja Bjelica had a night to forget on Sunday, going scoreless on 0-of-5 FGs with six rebounds and one block in 15 minutes.

None of the Wolves' starters logged more than Andrew Wiggins' 27 minutes, as Sam Mitchell leaned heavily on his reserves to cut into the Suns' big second-half lead. Nevertheless, that didn't benefit Bjelica -- he's failed to score double-digit points in December and can be cut for a more productive free agent.

Nemanja Bjelica played 21 minutes against the Lakers on Wednesday with six points, four rebounds, two assists and one block.

He's one of the most efficient players on the team, but he is having trouble getting his own shot and is being exposed on defense at times. With Gorgui Dieng now getting minutes next to Karl-Anthony Towns, it doesn't look great for Bjelica in standard leagues.

Nemanja Bjelica's role decreased on Saturday, as he scored only two points with five rebounds in 13 minutes.

Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns shared the court in the Wolves' second-most-used lineup tonight, which doesn't bode well for Bjelica. The 27-year-old rookie has enough upside to hold in deep leagues, but if his minutes consistently fall below 25 per game most owners should scour the waiver wire for a replacement.

Nemanja Bjelica hit just 1-of-5 shots in 24 minutes on Tuesday, but still finished with three points, eight rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer in the loss.

He's still working through a knee injury and has yet to become a consistent fantasy performer, but is still a guy you'll want to keep a close eye on in case he gets hot and can do it consistently. The signs are there that he can, but it's more a matter of will he?

Nemanja Bjelica (knee) had 10 points, two 3-pointers, two rebounds and one assist in Sunday's loss to the Clippers.

He made all four of his shot attempts in 22 minutes of action, and looked good considering he'd missed the past four games. Sam Mitchell has been tinkering with his rotation lately and there are no guarantees that Bjelica will average a solid 26-28 minutes per game, but he's worth holding onto while we find out.
