Jeremy Evans came off Utah's bench for four points, eight rebounds and two blocks in Sunday's road loss to the Pacers.
He was questionable to play due to a sprained ankle, but wound up giving another efficient performance in 20 minutes off the bench. Lines like this are the norm for Evans, so if you don't find it useful look elsewhere for waiver wire production. Mar 2 - 8:51 PM

Jeremy Evans (sprained ankle) will play vs. the Pacers on Sunday.

He's less than 100 percent healthy and faces the league's premier defense, so there's no incentive to gamble on him in fantasy leagues. He's averaging 5.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in Utah's last five games.
Mar 2 - 4:36 PM

Jeremy Evans (sprained ankle) participated in Sunday's shootaround but still remains a game-time decision.

Evans is only an option in deep leagues, and on a day when he's less than 100 percent, he doesn't even meet that criterion. Look for Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Richard Jefferson, Marvin Williams, and Brandon Rush to split up the minutes if Evans is unable to go.
Mar 2 - 10:46 AM

Jeremy Evans sprained his left ankle during Saturday's practice, leaving him as a game-time decision for Sunday.

Evans logged just 14 minutes in Utah's last game and he doesn't have enough fantasy upside to be worth gambling on at less than 100 percent. If he does sit out, his minutes will be absorbed by Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Richard Jefferson, Marvin Williams and Brandon Rush.
Mar 1 - 2:40 PM

Jeremy Evans had two steals and a career-high four blocks to go with four points and six rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Evans has always been a guy whose fantasy value can rise pretty quickly but the minutes are never really there and the return of Derrick Favors solidified that problem tonight. He's still just a deep league guy until that changes, despite the solid result.
Feb 24 - 11:58 PM

Jeremy Evans grabbed a career-high 13 boards against the Nets on Wednesday with three points and one steal in 20 minutes.

He was effective on the defensive glass, but was a no-show on the other end with just three shots from the field. Evans could get some more playing time while Derrick Favors is out with a hip issue, but Favors possibly back for the weekend doesn't make him a very intriguing pickup.
Feb 20 - 1:46 AM

Jeremy Evans hit 7-of-10 shots for 14 points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks in Tuesday's win.

Evans has made a little noise over his last three games, but is still averaging just 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals over that stretch. There are probably more reliable options on your wire.
Feb 12 - 1:44 AM

Jeremy Evans (tailbone) returned to action on Friday, scoring five points on 2-of-3 shooting with four rebounds and a steal in 20 minutes.

Evans had a small stretch of productivity earlier in the year but he has lost all of that momentum over the past month or so. If he gets it back we'll let you know.
Feb 8 - 1:10 AM

Jeremy Evans (tailbone) will play in Friday's game against the Mavs.

The Jazz will have their entire roster healthy and available Friday, squeezing the rotation tight. The high-flying Evans figures to play his typical bench role, seeing his usual 17-20 minutes.
Feb 7 - 1:17 PM

Jeremy Evans (tailbone, elbow) is doubtful to play vs. the Raptors on Monday.

Evans took a hard spill on Friday and bruised both his tailbone and elbow, but fortunately X-rays were negative. He remains day-to-day.
Feb 3 - 12:43 PM

Jeremy Evans (tailbone, elbow) did not travel for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

An X-ray on his elbow and tailbone were negative and he's day-to-day. The Jazz are on the road for just one game and will return home on Monday to face the Raptors. Evans took a very bad fall on Friday and was on the floor for a few minutes in serious pain. He may have played some decent minutes with the Jazz banged up, but it's a moot point.
Feb 1 - 9:15 PM

Jeremy Evans suffered a bruised tailbone and a bruised elbow against the Warriors on Friday and will not return.

The Jazz are in trouble now with very little help at power forward. They're going with a small lineup with Richard Jefferson and Gordon Hayward at the forward spots for now and that's probably their best bet until they get some of the troops back. Evans finished with 10 points, four boards, one assist and no turnovers in 17 minutes.
Feb 1 - 12:12 AM

Jeremy Evans suffered a back injury against the Warriors in Friday.

He fell extremely hard and may have an issue with his tailbone. Evans got the start tonight and we'll pass along any info as it becomes available.
Jan 31 - 11:32 PM

Jeremy Evans and Enes Kanter are starting in place of the injured Marvin Williams (Achilles) and Derrick Favors (hip) on Friday.

Evans has very little polish to his game, but he shoots a high percentage since he operates very close to the basket. He can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Jan 31 - 10:28 PM

Jeremy Evans double-doubled off the bench on Monday against the Kings, scoring 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting (6-of-12 FTs) with 10 rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes.

The Kings usually give up big numbers to opposing bigs and without two of their better defenders tonight Evans was able to feast. Owners should look toward his season long 14-18 team value (9/8 cat) for a gauge of what he brings.
