Bobcats assigned rookie G Sherron Collins to the NBADL.

Collins went undrafted due to his lack of size. It's something he's going to have a hard time overcoming unless he gets significantly quicker. Collins appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats, averaging two minutes per appearance.

Sherron Collins - G - Spurs

The Bobcats signed undrafted rookie point guard Sherron Collins to a two-year, non-guaranteed deal on Friday.

Collins starred at Kansas and played well for the Bobcats' summer-league team recently. And given the fact that Shaun Livingston and D.J. Augustin are the only two point guards on the roster, Collins should not only make the team, but could actually get some serious run if one of them goes down.
