He just got signed to another 10-day contract and this was easily his best game of the season. Just keep an eye on him for now. Dec 11 - 12:33 AM

The Timberwolves have received another 10-day roster exception to keep F Jeff Adrien on the roster.

Minnesota is woefully short-handed and Adrien has been asked to play minutes out of position at center. He's averaging only 2.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in four games this season, taking him out of the discussion for fantasy value.
Dec 10 - 7:26 PM

The Timberwolves will likely ask Jeff Adrien to play some center.

Adrien stands severely undersized at 6'7", but without Nikola Pekovic (wrist, ankle) and Ronny Turiaf (hip), the Timberwolves need Adrien's toughness inside.

Wolves sign F Jeff Adrien.

They were granted a hardship exception and can sign a 16th player. That also means that Nikola Pekovic (wrist, ankle) isn't close to a return from his injuries. Adrien will only serve as emergency depth.

Rockets waive F Jeff Adrien.

Adrien had guaranteed money remaining on his deal, so this is a bit of a surprise. Undrafted rookie Tarik Black has won a roster spot.

Houston Rockets sign F Jeff Adrien.

Adrien will sign on a one-year, veteran minimum deal and provide the Rockets with some solid interior depth. The 28-year-old averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 18.1 minutes per game with the Bucks during the 2013-14 season and has potential if he gets minutes, but his fantasy value is a bit limited as an end-of-rotation player with the Rockets.

Jul 15 - 1:49 PM

Free agent PF Jeff Adrien has been working out "almost daily" at the Hornets' practice facility in Charlotte.

Adrien was traded from Charlotte to Milwaukee in February last season, where he proceeded to carve out a major role after Ersan Ilyasova was ruled out for the season with an ankle injury. Adrien even made 12 starts at PF, averaging 13.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.8 blocks, but he'll need an ideal situation to emerge with reliable fantasy value in 2014-15.
Jun 22 - 6:33 PM

Jeff Adrien had 13 points, a career-high 17 rebounds, two steals and a block in Wednesday's loss to the 'Pacers.'

Adrien should have had a good game against the Pacers bench patrol, but he's playing well. He had 19 points and 12 boards on Sunday, and should be in all starting lineups the rest of the way.
Apr 9 - 11:49 PM

Jeff Adrien logged a double-double against the Raptors on Saturday during a 102-98 loss, scoring 19 points with 12 boards, two assists and one block in 41 minutes.

He was coming in with some momentum over his previous three, averaging 17.0 points, 8.0 boards, 1.3 blocks and 0.3 steals on 57.5 percent from the field, so this game is not a surprise. Adrien has been a much better fit for the team at power forward than Ersan Ilyasova and he looks like he’ll be locked in to standard-league value the rest of the way.
Apr 5 - 11:13 PM

Jeff Adrien scored 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, one steal and three blocks in Friday's loss.

Adrien hasn't been tearing it up lately but he's worth a look in 12-14 team leagues if you need a big man.
Apr 5 - 1:18 AM

Jeff Adrien scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and no steals or blocks in 27 minutes on Monday against the Pistons.

Adrien played just 15 minutes on Saturday but this will help allay some fears that his role in the rotation was slipping. Unfortunately, he's not really providing much fantasy value, averaging just 10.4 points, 6.0 boards and 0.8 combined steals and blocks over the past seven games.
Mar 31 - 11:27 PM

Jeff Adrien played just 15 minutes vs. the Heat on Saturday during a blowout 88-67 loss with four points, three boards, one assist and one steal.

The Bucks looked horrible in the first half with just 29 points before recess and coach Larry Drew didn't want to play his starting big men much in the second half. The coach has sung the praises of Adrien all month, so this game should just be thrown out.
Mar 29 - 11:56 PM

Jeff Adrien scored eight points with nine boards, two assists and two blocks in 32 minutes vs. the Lakers on Thursday.

Now that Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) is out for the season, Adrien has a clear runway for minutes and looks like the big winner. He has some huge upside potential with per-36-minutes averages of 16.7 points, 12.1 boards, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks on 53.5 percent shooting in his time with the Bucks. The former Bobcat is worth owning in standard leagues right now.
Mar 27 - 11:06 PM

Jeff Adrien will continue to start at PF for the Bucks with Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) ruled out for the season.

In his lone start this season, Adrien scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 32 minutes of action, and his fantasy value is mostly limited to a handful of points, rebounds and steals. His starting job alongside Zaza Pachulia means that John Henson will continue to fill a reserve role, which is disappointing but somewhat predictable since the tanking Bucks are in a race to the bottom with the free-falling 76ers.
Mar 27 - 6:34 PM

Jeff Adrien started for the Bucks in their closer-than-expected loss to the Clippers on Monday, scoring 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes.

Adrien looks good enough to be logging this many minutes on most nights but Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) will probably be back in the next one and Larry Drew is capable of decimating any of his guys on any given night. He hit 6-of-6 free throws to cap off the night and has put up low-end value in 12-14 team leagues over the last two weeks.
