The Cavaliers have waived Manny Harris.

Harris started five games for the Cavs last season, and overall he averaged 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17.5 minutes per game, while shooting 40.0 percent from the field. He may catch on elsewhere as a backup PG but he won't be a fantasy asset.

Manny Harris scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 25 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Harris gets his three-game week off to a nice start, and is well worth a look for the remaining slate. He can only go up from here as guys get rested.

Manny Harris will move back to a bench role for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.

Harris has been providing borderline numbers over the last week, and the Cavs' three-game schedule has made him worth fantasy consideration going forward.

Manny Harris played a whopping 40 minutes on Friday night and finished with 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting with a career-high 12 rebounds, two assists and three 3s.

Harris has averaged 29 minutes, 14.7 points, 2.0 threes, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 2.7 turnovers while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from the line. He is enjoying Alonzo Gee's absence, but on the whole he shouldn't have too much competition for minutes and Scott is trying to get a closer look at him.

Manny Harris hit 6-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 18 points and three rebounds in Tuesday's blowout loss.

Say hello to the lone bright spot for the Cavs tonight. Harris was helped by the fact that Alonzo Gee was out, but could be ready to go on a tear, as Byron Scott wants to take a closer look at his young guy.

Byron Scott said he wants to get a "closer look" at Manny Harris.

Harris had 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in Sunday's loss to Orlando, and it sounds as if Harris will continue to see minutes for the rest of the season. The double-digit scoring outing was his first in April, indicating just how relevant he is to owners in standard-sized formats.

Manny Harris started for injured Anthony Parker (sternum) in Friday's win over the Raptors, scoring four points on 1-of-8 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, three assists, and one block in 32 minutes.

Harris didn't make the impression he would have liked to have made, but according to the most recent reports he'll get another shot on Sunday against the Nets. If he can make some headway, he'll be a guy to watch if the Cavs throw caution to the wind and run all young guys out onto the court.

With Anthony Parker out for the next two games, Manny Harris will start at shooting guard for the Cavs.

Harris had 11.1 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game in his 15 starts last season. With Kyrie Irving (shoulder) also out for Cleveland, it's not unrealistic to see him come close to these numbers again this year if he can get close to 30 minutes per game.

Manny Harris played 11 minutes on Friday, scoring one points with one rebound against the Bucks.

Harris missed all four of his field goal attempts and the only reason he's getting a blurb is because of Kyrie Irving's shoulder injury. Harris is nowhere near worth adding right now, but he could be if a few things break his way.

The Cavaliers have signed Manny Harris for the rest of the season, as expected.

Daniel Gibson is slated to pick up some PG minutes behind Kyrie Irving, but the Cavs will probably give Harris some burn. At the very least, he gives them affordable backcourt depth.

Byron Scott said that the Cavs are likely to re-sign Manny Harris for the rest of the season.

Harris was not re-signed after his second 10-day contract expired, but the team is interested in bringing him back now that the deadline has passed.

The Cavs did not re-sign Manny Harris after his second 10-day contract expired Sunday.

If the Cavs wanted to keep Harris, they would have had to guarantee his contract for the rest of the season. That wasn't happening as they want roster flexibility. Harris is now an unrestricted free agent.

Manny Harris played well in limited action on Friday, scoring nine points in 18 minutes.

Coach Byron Scott was very upset with his team's effort after the game, and suggested that lineup changes could be on the way. Harris was recently signed to his second 10-day contract in Cleveland, and he could be a candidate for more playing time. Keep an eye on him for now.

Cavaliers sign G Manny Harris to a second 10-day contract.

Harris was smoking through the D-League when he earned the first 10-day contract, but he's played just six seconds for Cleveland thus far this season.
