Donald Sloan scored 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting with one rebound, six assists, one steal and one three in 24 minutes off the bench in Monday's lopsided loss.

Sloan enjoyed some garbage time and he hasn't been very consistent, providing just low-end value based on sporadic outbursts like this. With George Hill returning soon, there's enough not to like for owners in 12-14 team leagues to stay away.
Jan 19 - 10:42 PM

Donald Sloan was busy in his 20 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday, making 6-of-11 from the field for 14 points with five rebounds, five assists, one steal.

That's good for a 50.0 assist percentage and a 31.8 usage rate. Rodney Stuckey (groin) wasn't ruled out until about an hour before, so he probably won't be missing much time. While Sloan has played well recently, coach Frank Vogel has bumped Sloan from the rotation before and could do it again. Plus, George Hill (groin) would also hurt him. Sloan can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Jan 8 - 1:44 AM

Donald Sloan did not do much off the bench against the Jazz with five points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal.

He played 22 minutes in the Monday win and the return of C.J. Watson hurt him more than expected. Sloan has earned a role with the team, but he's really going to need someone else besides George Hill (groin) to miss time in order to have fantasy value in standard leagues.
Jan 6 - 1:14 AM

Donald Sloan started at PG for the short-handed Pacers on Sunday, notching 16 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and one turnover in 36 minutes of action.

Sloan made a series of clutch baskets to finish 6-of-14 from the field with one 3-pointer, and this line was more than his owners could have expected. His role is extremely tentative and he was a DNP-CD when both Hill and Watson were healthy, however, so he's not a guy to rely on for long-term value.
Jan 5 - 12:07 AM

Donald Sloan started for injured George Hill (groin) on Friday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and two threes in 33 minutes.

Sloan will be worth a look for however long George Hill (groin) and C.J. Watson (foot) are unavailable, and go back to the waiver when one or both return.
Jan 3 - 1:52 AM

Donald Sloan will enter the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Bucks with both George Hill (groin) and C.J. Watson (foot) unavailable.

Sloan had some success as the starting point guard to begin the year, but he does have a difficult matchup tonight with the Bucks. However, as the only healthy point guard on the roster, he could be forced into heavy minutes tonight, making him an intriguing play in daily leagues.
Jan 2 - 7:21 PM

Pacers PG Donald Sloan picked up a DNP-CD during Tuesday's game.

George Hill returned to action and Sloan's DNP wasn't a coincidence. He can be cut loose in all fantasy formats with Indiana's backcourt as healthy as it's been all season.

Donald Sloan drew another start on Saturday during a 76-73 loss to the Nuggets with nine points, seven boards, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes.

He is not going to start much longer and tonight was just a complete lost cause. The Pacers made 30.7 percent from the field and had 18 points in the paint. Sloan can be dropped in most leagues.

Donald Sloan will start against the Nuggets on Saturday.

The Pacers just can't stay healthy. Sloan was booted from the rotation earlier this month, but now he's back with C.J. Watson out. Sloan actually is decent on a per-minute basis, so he's worth a look as a plug-and-play. Of course, he doesn't have much value following today.
Sat, Dec 20, 2014 07:40:00 PM

Donald Sloan scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including three treys) with six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes off the bench in Monday's blowout win.

Sloan has gone in and out of the rotation a bit and George Hill's return is on the horizon. This output can be ignored at really low risk.

The Pacers second unit projects to be Donald Sloan, Solomon Hill, Chris Copeland, Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen.

Sloan was out of the rotation before the switch and now he looks like he's back in. Of course, he has very little fantasy value.
Fri, Dec 12, 2014 06:29:00 PM

Donald Sloan was a DNP-CD on Thursday against the Blazers.

He has been struggling so much that coach Frank Vogel completely knocked him out of the rotation after his dud in the starting lineup on Tuesday. Sloan can be cut just about everywhere.
Fri, Dec 5, 2014 12:34:00 AM

Donald Sloan will move to the bench against the Blazers on Thursday.

He has been awful in his last four, making just 24.2 percent from the field. Sloan was a pleasant surprise about a month ago, but his output has steadily been on the decline. His fantasy owners can probably look to cut him.
Thu, Dec 4, 2014 09:26:00 PM

Donald Sloan scored two points against the Cavs during a 109-97 loss on Saturday with six assists and one turnover on 1-of-8 from the field.

Kyrie Irving actually played nice defense on him tonight, but it's not like Sloan is capable of carrying an offense on a nightly basis. His minutes are starting to see a downward trend and he hasn't hit a trey in his last three games, so he's not a must-own player anymore even with George Hill (quad) out for a while.
