Chris Singleton officially signed with Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia.
Singleton is headed to Russia on a one-year deal, so he could find his way back to the NBA next season. That said, he wasn't worth owning in fantasy leagues last season, so fantasy owners can feel free to move on. Sep 24 - 10:17 AM

Chris Singleton has reportedly signed with Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia.

He reportedly received some interest from the Clippers this offseason, but ultimately he elected for what was likely a bigger payday overseas.

The Clippers have reportedly reached out to unrestricted free agent Chris Singleton.

The Clippers have one more roster spot to fill, and they are reportedly looking to add another big. They've also been in contact with Glen Davis and Ryan Hollins, although at this point no deal is imminent for any of the aforementioned players. Davis is likely the Clippers' preferred target, but none of these guys will have any fantasy value serving as an emergency depth kind of guy in Los Angeles.

Chris Singleton has committed to playing with the Orlando Magic for Summer League.

Singleton hasn't played in the NBA since the 2013-14 season, but is unlikely to provide much fantasy value even if he's able to hook on with the Magic or another team. Singleton averaged 3.0 points, and 2.2 rebounds in 25 games with the Wizards in 2013-14, so he can largely be ignored in fantasy cirlces even if he lands on an NBA roster.

Chris Singleton is expected to sign in the D-League.

Singleton, a former 2011 first-round pick of the Wizards, has been out of basketball this season, and he faces an uphill battle to return to the NBA.
Jan 19 - 9:05 AM

Unrestricted free agent Chris Singleton has reportedly committed to sign with the Pacers.

The Pacers lost Paul George and Lance Stephenson this offseason, so there are a lot of minutes to be dispersed, and the team needs healthy bodies on the wings. That being said, Singleton has struggled with injuries throughout his brief three-year career (he was only able to make it through 25 games last season) and with career averages of 4.1 points, and 3.2 rebounds on 37.6 percent shooting, he doesn't figure to be a viable fantasy option in standard leagues.

Chris Singelton will work out for NBA personnel in Las Vegas on Monday.

He's received some interest from the Heat and Pacers, but there's no word on which teams will be at today's workout. Singleton fell out of the rotation with the Wizards and his offensive game never really came around since being drafted in 2011. He will likely have to fight for a roster spot at training camp.

Chris Singleton has received some interest from the Heat and Pacers.

These two teams lost some notable free agents on the wings and are just looking for depth here. Singleton hasn't really improved in the past three seasons and would just be an end-of-the-bench guy at best.

Chris Singleton scored 13 points in 25 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday with nine boards, two assists, one steal and three fouls.

He's played in just 15 games this season with an average of 10.9 minutes per night. The Wizards didn't pick up Singleton's option heading into the season, so they're not really going to be too interested in developing the 2014 free agent. Chances are his minutes will go back down once Kevin Seraphin (knee) is healthy.

Chris Singleton started the second half of Friday's game for injured Martell Webster (ankle), scoring seven points on 1-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and a three in 33 minutes.

Singleton has flashed the ability to post versatile lines in the past, but more often than not there will be a glaring issue or two similar to his 1-of-10 mark from the field. It's hard to get behind him in standard leagues even as a short-term pickup, but Webster's injury looks like it's at least somewhat serious and there might be a window for some deep league value here.

Chris Singleton (foot) played one minute in his season debut during Tuesday's 116-111 victory over the Lakers.

The Wizards didn't pick up their team option on him last month and Singleton hasn't lived up to being a first-round pick. He was viewed as a great defender, but there has been no growth on the offensive side. He can be ignored in fantasy leagues.

Chris Singleton (foot) may be available for "spot" minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.

Martell Webster will be occupied starting at SG in place of Bradley Beal (leg), which leaves more minutes available at SF, and Singleton's return is bad news for the limited roles of Jan Vesely and Trevor Booker.

Chris Singleton (foot) participated in Monday's practice, but his status for Tuesday's game is uncertain.

He has yet to play this season and his status will likely hinge upon how his foot responds to today's activity. Once healthy, he'll battle for minutes at both forward spots off the bench.

The Wizards will not pick up the team option on Chris Singleton.

The Wizards thought they knew what they were doing when they took Singleton at 18 in the draft. He was considered as a defensive guy at Florida State, but his offense has failed to improve whatsoever. Singleton played just 16 minutes per game last season, will not be in the rotation to start the year, and will be a free agent after this season.

Chris Singleton will miss 6-8 weeks after surgery to repair a fractured metatarsal in his left foot.

Singleton suffered a Jones fracture, an injury which typically requires "screw fixation ... and the use of a bone stimulator," according to podiatrist Michael K. Lowe. Singleton's absence until late Oct. or mid-Nov. means more playing time for Trevor Ariza and Otto Porter at SF. Even at full health, his limited minutes and shaky shooting make him a dubious fantasy option.
