Jimmer Fredette is not expected to earn a second 10-day contract with the Knicks, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

At no point during Fredette's five-year career has he ever been a reliable option in standard fantasy leagues, so there's no reason to own him in any setting.

Jimmer Fredette's shaky defense is limiting his playing time, according Knicks interim head coach Kurt Rambis.

Rambis hasn't exactly embraced Fredette's call-up from the D-League and didn't play Jimmer in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers. "So looking at different guys and what they were doing defensively, some parts [Fredette] got pushed around a little bit," Rambis said. "Guys were active defensively as a result of the defense. So right now it’s probably still going to be the same rotation as it was before.’’ Needless to say, Fredette can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Coach Kurt Rambis said Jimmer Fredette hasn't made it into the rotation yet.

Jimmer Time won't play tonight unless there is garbage time. Fredette made his only attempt from the field and it was a 3-pointer on Monday, so he has a perfect efficiency as a Knick.
Feb 24 - 5:49 PM

Knicks interim head coach Kurt Rambis said Jimmer Fredette won't see regular minutes for the Knicks.

This doesn't come as a big surprise as Jimmer is only on a 10-day contract with the Knicks, but Rambis isn't committed to finding minutes for Fredette. "He’s not going to displace someone who’s played all year and has worked hard in practice,’’ Rambis said. "He’s got to be keyed in to where everyone’s supposed to be. I’m not sure he’s there yet.’’ The Jimmer is worth monitoring in case the Knicks fall even further out of playoff contention, but he can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues right now.
Feb 23 - 10:26 AM

Jimmer Fredette made his one shot attempt for three points with one turnover in two minutes against the Raptors in his Knicks debut on Monday.

He has the best effective field goal percentage in Knicks history right now at 150.0. Kidding aside, Fredette only came in for garbage time. He might get run soon, but he can be kept on the wire in almost every league.
Feb 22 - 10:24 PM

Jimmer Fredette will be active for Monday.

There is no plan to get him minutes, but this should be fun. Fredette is only worth owning in very deep leagues.
Feb 22 - 5:58 PM

Knicks sign G Jimmer Fredette to a 10-day contract.

The reality is that Fredette has a ton to show as an NBA player, and this may be his final chance to do it. He's not going to suddenly leapfrog Jose Calderon or Langston Galloway in the rotation, so it's hard to see how he's going to prove himself. As for fantasy, don't even think about adding Fredette to your roster.
Feb 22 - 11:02 AM

The Knicks are expected to sign Jimmer Fredette to a 10-day deal on Monday.

"Between now and then a lot of things can happen, so I anticipate that that's what's going to happen and we've just got to try and integrate him and see if we can use him in some way," Coach Kurt Rambis said. "He's obviously a very good shooter and somebody who can open the floor for us, so we'll see how he fits in." Fredette has failed to produce at the NBA level during his short career, so there's no reason to add him in any format for the time being.

Feb 20 - 11:58 AM

The Knicks plan to sign Jimmer Fredette to a 10-day deal with their open roster spot.

He's been pretty good in the D-League, averaging a team-high 22.3 points per game on a tidy 60.2 true shooting percentage. Freed probably won't get minutes, but you never know with a new coach taking over. He is only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.
Feb 19 - 2:53 PM

Jimmer Fredette is hoping to get another chance to play in the NBA.

Fredette is fresh off winning the MVP award in the D-League All-Star Game and is hoping to get a call from the Knicks or another NBA team. "I feel I’ve definitely proven I can still play and provide something for a team out there,’’ Fredette said. "I’ve shown that. And I’m definitely confident if I do get an opportunity, I’ll be able to produce." While the Knicks need a point guard and have an open roster spot, Jimmer can continue to be ignored even if he lands an NBA deal.

Feb 16 - 12:50 PM

Jimmer Fredette scored 37 points in his D-League debut on Monday.

With Floyd Mayweather in attendance, Fredette led the Westchester Knicks to victory on 12-of-17 shooting from the field. Big game aside, Fredette has some work to do in order to work his way back to the NBA and can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.

Jimmer Fredette has rejoined the Westchester Knicks of the NBA D-League.

Fredette wasn't able to crack the rotation for the New Orleans Pelicans despite the fact that they had nine healthy bodies at the time, so he's got some work to do. We'll let you know if another NBA team looks his way.

The Pelicans have waived G Jimmer Fredette.

Fredette couldn't even get into the rotation when New Orleans only had nine healthy bodies on the roster, and he'll now return to the D-League. This could be a sign that Norris Cole (ankle) is getting close to a return.

Jimmer Fredette played four minutes in his third appearance for the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Thus far he's compiled one turnover and one missed shot in seven minutes for New Orleans. The Pelicans desperately need healthy and productive players, but Fredette is not fitting the bill.
