Justin Harper's 10-day contract with the 76ers has expired.
He won't be picked up for a second 10-day deal, so he will head back to the D-League. This could be a sign that the 76ers are happy with reserve center Shawn Long. Mar 13 - 10:18 AM

Justin Harper played four minutes with three points, one assist and one 3-pointer against the Bucks on Monday.

He saw the backup minutes at the five on Saturday, but the 76ers adding Shawn Long shifted Harper back to his natural spot. Harper won't have value while Dario Saric is healthy right now.
Mar 6 - 9:31 PM

Justin Harper played 23 minutes off the bench against the Pistons on Saturday, scoring nine points with five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

He scored his first points this season and he was the backup five man in this game with only Richaun Holmes as the only 76er whose primary position is center. Harper has actually logged plenty of minutes at center for the Los Angeles D-Fender and he held his own in the paint today. If Jahlil Okafor (knee) is out, Harper would likely stay in the rotation. Obviously Harper is only an add in super deep leagues.
Mar 4 - 8:55 PM

The Sixers officially signed Justin Harper to a 10-day contract on Friday.

Harper last played in the NBA in March of 2016 for the Pistons. He was averaging 16 points and seven rebounds in 29 minutes per game in the D-League this season. The Sixers are shallow up front, but it is unlikely that Harper will crack the rotation and see consistent minutes. He can be left on waiver wires for now.

The 76ers are planning to sign F Justin Harper to a 10-day contract.

Philly needs some frontcourt depth behind Dario Saric, so Harper could get a handful of minutes. He's a 27-year-old stretch four who impressed with the Pistons on a pair of 10-day contracts last season, and he does have 3-point range. For now, there's no reason to add him in any format.
Mar 2 - 1:16 PM

Justin Harper's second 10-day contract with the Pistons has expired.

Stan Van Gundy said that the Pistons will not be re-signing Harper to a rest-of-season deal, and he has no immediate plans for the 15th roster spot in Detroit. Harper belongs on the wire in all leagues.

The Pistons will sign Justin Harper to a second 10-day contract.

With Anthony Tolliver (knee) still out, this move makes sense for the Pistons. Harper has played well when called upon and had a nine-point game with three triples vs. the Raptors on Sunday, but he picked up a DNP-CD the following game. He's not on the fantasy radar.

The Pistons are leaning towards re-signing Justin Harper to another 10-day contract.

Pistons president and head coach Van Gundy has yet to make a decision on Harper, but said the team will likely re-sign the forward to keep him with the team. "I’ve been happy with Justin," Van Gundy said. "My thought right now is the probability is that we pick it up and give him another 10-day." Harper is averaging just 3.3 points per game in three games with the Pistons and can be left on waivers even if he signs another 10-day deal.

Justin Harper came off Detroit's bench on Sunday to score nine points on 3-of-5 shooting beyond the arc, adding one rebound and one turnover in 16 minutes of action.

With Stanley Johnson (shoulder) and Anthony Tolliver (knee) both on the sidelines, and Tobias Harris in foul trouble, coach Stan Van Gundy turned to Harper early tonight. He was recently signed to a 10-day contract and it's unlikely that he'll be worth owners' attention outside of the absolute deepest leagues.

The Pistons have signed F Justin Harper to a 10-day contract.

Harper will help fill the void in Anthony Tolliver's (knee) absence, but he's not going to get enough minutes in Detroit to matter in most leagues. Leave him on the wire.

The Pistons will sign forward Justin Harper to a 10-day contract.

He impressed at the summer league and was playing well in the D-League this season, but he likely won't have more than a limited role on the Pistons. For now, Harper is not on the fantasy radar.

Nets waive F Justin Harper.

He had the size and shooting stroke to be a stretch four, but a couple holes in his game kept him from being on an NBA roster. Harper will likely be back in the NBA on a 10-day deal.

He had some bright spots at summer league a couple years ago, but Harper is unlikely to make the Nets.

Justin Harper is finalizing a deal with Scandone Avellino of the Italian League.

Harper averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game with Hapoel Tel Aviv last season and will now join Scandone Avellino in the Italian League. While still just 25 years old, Harper hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season and doesn't hold any fantasy value going forward.

Magic waive PF Justin Harper.

Orlando gave up two second-round draft picks to acquire Harper in 2011, but he did nothing to distinguish himself in 14 appearances last year. He's more likely to head overseas, or to the D-League, than to join an NBA roster.
