Justin Harper is finalizing a deal with Scandone Avellino of the Italian League.

Harper averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game with Hapoel Tel Aviv last season and will now join Scandone Avellino in the Italian League. While still just 25 years old, Harper hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season and doesn't hold any fantasy value going forward.

Magic waive PF Justin Harper.

Orlando gave up two second-round draft picks to acquire Harper in 2011, but he did nothing to distinguish himself in 14 appearances last year. He's more likely to head overseas, or to the D-League, than to join an NBA roster.

The Magic have signed rookie Justin Harper to a guaranteed two-year contract worth $1.2 million.

Harper is a sweet-shooting power forward, but lacks the size to make a real impact in Orlando (at least while Ryan Anderson and Glen Davis are standing).

Justin Harper has signed with SIG Strasbourg in France.

Harper will have an out clause in his deal that will allow him to return to the NBA after the lockout. Despite falling into the second round, Harper has a chance to contribute to the Orlando rotation immediately, but it's unlikely he'll get enough playing time to warrant significant fantasy consideration.

The Cavs traded Richmond forward Justin Harper to the Magic for two future second round draft picks in 2013 and 2014.

A shooter like him could theoretically benefit playing around Dwight Howard, but he'll need an injury or two before we project significant minutes for him at this time.

The Cavaliers drafted forward Justin Harper out of Richmond with the No. 32 pick.

He's a great shooter, but isn't all that strong, nor tough, according to Jay Bilas.

According to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Boston Celtics are planning to bring in Justin Harper, Jon Leuer, Jamie Skeen & Matt Howard for a workout on Wednesday, June 1.

All four of the power forward prospects can shoot the basketball, and as Ford indicates, the team is clearly in the market for a four that can stretch the court. It's not exactly a good sign for Glen "Big Baby" Davis, who is set to become a free agent this summer.
