Jeff Taylor made his season debut on Saturday, but failed to register a stat in three minutes.
To be fair, it is hard to impress in just three minutes, but it is clear that Taylor won't be in the rotation soon. Leave him on the waiver wire. Dec 20 - 10:19 PM

Jeff Taylor is active to face the 76ers on Friday.

It will be his first game on the active list since being suspended for 24 games. His suspension ended on Wednesday and he was inactive. Taylor might get some run with Lance Stephenson (hip) out. He can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Dec 17 - 5:36 PM

Jeff Taylor's 24-game suspension for his involvement in a domestic violence case ended on Monday, but the Hornets don't plan on activating him immediately.

Head coach Steve Clifford said he doesn't want to use one of the 13 active roster spots on Taylor until it is clear that he'll play ahead of one of the other wings in the rotation, so it could be a while until we see Taylor as the Hornets are deep on the wing. Taylor can safely be left on waiver wires as it's unlikely he'll be a rotation player for the Hornets this season.

Despite the NBPA's willingness, Jeff Taylor will reportedly not appeal his 24-game suspension for his involvement in a domestic violence case.

There would probably be more blowback than it's worth if he went through with the appeal, so Taylor will go ahead and just take the suspension. He doesn't figure to be a rotation player for the Hornets this season, and can be safely left on the wire in all formats.
Nov 21 - 2:27 PM

The NBPA is set to file an appeal on Jeff Taylor's 24-game suspension for his involvement in a domestic violence case.

The NBPA is stating that Taylor's suspension is "excessive, without precedent and a violation of the CBA." However, the decision to actually file the appeal will be Taylor's. Stay tuned.

"Jeffrey and his lawyers have determined that it is in Jeffrey's best interest to focus on resolving this matter as expeditiously as possible before returning to the team. Jeff Taylor faces up to a year in jail on charges of assault and battery, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of a building, all misdemeanors.

Taylor reportedly assaulted his girlfriend and a hotel employee in East Lansing and also caused $200 to $1000 in damage to hotel property. He is expected to be in court Oct. 8 for a pretrial hearing. The NBA has yet to release a statement on the matter, but given the NFL's mishandling of the Ray Rice situation, it's likely NBA commissioner Adam Silver will treat this situation very seriously.
