Nikola Vucevic scored 26 points on 12-of-21 shooting with 11 boards, five assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday.
Vucevic's owners will be thrilled that he played 40 minutes in such a meaningless game for the Magic. He certainly gave Brooklyn a scare, but he couldn't prevent the Nets from pulling away in the fourth quarter. Victor Oladipo played well with 19 points, three assist, two boards, two 3-pointers and a block, while Andrew Nicholson impressed by scoring 18 points with nine boards, one block and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes. Nikola Vucevic scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, one steal, one block and three turnovers against the Knicks during an 80-79 loss to the Knicks on Saturday.

It was Fan Appreciation Night tonight and the Magic rewarded their faithful crowd with the worst scoring quarter in the history of the National Basketball Association. They were outscored 8-7 in the second quarter and they didn't score at all in the first six minutes of that frame.
Apr 11 - 9:49 PM

Nikola Vucevic scored 20 points on 10-of-17 shooting against the Bucks on Saturday, adding seven boards and five assists in 34 minutes.

He nearly fouled out of this one, so his owners will be thrilled to see him put up such a solid line. Vucevic is coming off a career-high 37-point performance vs. the Wolves on Saturday, and Magic fans will be happy to know that he recently pledged his loyalty to the franchise. Even with just three games next week, Vucevic is a must-start player in all leagues.
Apr 4 - 11:37 PM

Unlike Dwight Howard and Shaquille O'Neal, Nikola Vucevic doesn't plan on leaving the Magic and said that he would like to spend his entire career in Orlando.

"Yeah, I'm here for the long haul. I hope to stay here my whole career," Vucevic said. "I love it here. I really love the city. I've improved here a lot as a player. I'd love to stay for a long, long time and make something special happen. If it takes years, it takes years … I ain't going anywhere." The Magic will obviously be thrilled to hear Vucevic pledge his loyalty, but it should be noted that Howard and O'Neal both said similar things when they were in Orlando. Regardless, Vucevic is coming off a 37-point, 17-board performance vs. the Lakers on Friday, and it looks like he will a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.
Apr 4 - 9:08 AM

Nikola Vucevic scored a career-high 37 points against the Wolves during a 97-84 win on Friday, adding 17 boards, two assists and one steal in 40 minutes.

After going 1-9 before tonight, this was a bad win for the lottery with the Lakers losing tonight. Shockingly, this was also the Magic's first road win since January 12, so the New England Patriots have won more games away from home than the Magic from Jan. 13 to Apr. 2. Vucevic has four consecutive double-doubles and his fantasy owners will get another Vooch game on Saturday in Milwaukee.
Apr 4 - 2:16 AM

Nikola Vucevic scored 16 points on 8-of-21 from the field against the Spurs on Wednesday with 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

It's his first game with three blocks or more since December and his five assists were the most he's had in 2015. Vucevic has three consecutive double-doubles and hasn't slowed down besides a slight dip in field goal percentage and points.
Apr 1 - 10:44 PM

Nikola Vucevic finished Tuesday's game with 11 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 32 minutes.

The bad news is that he shot 5-of-17 from the field and 1-of-3 at the free throw line, while turning it over three times vs. a Houston frontcourt that is still without Dwight Howard. The Magic have lost five straight and their 21-48 record puts them at No. 13 in the Eastern Conference, but fortunately there are no signs that Vuc's workload will be lessened in the coming weeks.
Mar 17 - 11:38 PM

Nikola Vucevic wore a headband to protect eight stitches during Sunday's game, notching 22 points on 11-of-21 shooting, 15 rebounds (nine offensive), three assists, one block and one turnover in 33 minutes.

The Magic kept it close in the first half, largely due to Vuc's imposing play in the paint, but eventually ran out of gas vs. the surging Cavs. Vucevic is averaging 35.0 minutes over his past 10 games, putting him in the top-25 players during that span, and fortunately coach James Borrego has shown no inclination to give him a breather in the season's final weeks.
Mar 15 - 8:49 PM

Nikola Vucevic needed stitches to his face due to a laceration on Friday against the Celtics, scoring 16 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and no turnovers.

The cut was right in the center of his forehead, but there's no need to worry about a concussion or anything. Vucevic has played well since returning from an ankle injury back on Mar. 10, averaging 16.0 points, 10.0 boards, 2.0 dimes and 2.3 steals in those three. He'll look for a big game against the Cavs on Sunday.
Mar 13 - 11:18 PM

Nikola Vucevic (ankle) played 28 minutes vs. the Pacers on Tuesday, scoring 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Vucevic's offense has fueled his career-best season, as he's setting new high-water marks in scoring (19.7 points), FG percentage (53.3 percent) and FT percentage (76.8 percent). He didn't block any shots tonight but his minutes were limited mostly because of the lopsided score -- he didn't aggravate his sore ankle, so fantasy owners should view this as an unqualified success.
Mar 10 - 9:31 PM

Nikola Vucevic (ankle) will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game vs. the Pacers.

With season averages of 19.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, Vucevic is a must-start player every time he's in uniform. His return to action will send Channing Frye back to the bench, and Frye's limited value will take a sizable hit with the demotion to the second unit. Andrew Nicholson may not even leave the bench today, and he can be cut in most leagues with this news.
Mar 10 - 5:35 PM

Nikola Vucevic (ankle) is likely to play against the Pacers on Tuesday, according to Joshua Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

Vucevic has missed two consecutive games due to his sore left ankle, but was able to make it through Monday's practice without any setbacks. We'll update his status after shootaround, but Vooch's return to the lineup would squash the already limited fantasy value that Channry Frye, Dewayne Dedmon, and Andrew Nicholson had while he was out.

Nikola Vucevic will test his injured ankle in practice on Monday.

The Magic play the Pacers on Tuesday, and it's not a lock that Vucevic will be back for that one. Owners will have to check back for yet another update, and if the big man can't go, Victor Oladipo will again carry the load with guys like Channing Frye, Dewayne Dedmon and Andrew Nicholson filling in for Vooch.

Nikola Vucevic (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

This will be Vucevic's second consecutive game on the sidelines due to his ankle injury, and it'll be Channing Frye, Dewayne Dedmon, and Andrew Nicholson picking up the slack in his absence. Frye went off for 22 points and 10 rebounds in his last game, and he'll be worth a look as a plug-and-play option with a favorable matchup against the Celtics today, just know consistency has been an issue for Frye all season. Victor Oladipo will also be the main man on offense with Vucevic out.

Nikola Vucevic (ankle) will not play against the Kings on Friday due to a sore left ankle.

Oh boy. The Magic are going to be in trouble against DeMarcus Cousins. With Vooch out, they might have to finally get Kyle O'Quinn back in the rotation tonight. Channing Frye will move back into the starting lineup with Andrew Nicholson backing him up. Dewayne Dedmon is also going to play more at the center spot in the starting lineup. Dedmon has been the apple of his coach's eye and is the best bet for a good line tonight. Of course, foul trouble is going to be a potential problem with his 6.5 fouls per 36 this season. That's not good against DMC.
