Kyle Singler took only three shots in 26 minutes on Sunday, making one of them to finish a loss to the Raptors with four points, two rebounds and two assists.
Singler hasn't been worth owning in 14-team leagues this season and he'll now have an adjustment period with D.J. Augustin taking the reins of Detroit's offense. There's not enough upside here to bother with him outside of deep leagues. Jan 25 - 10:21 PM

Date:

Kyle Singler will play with a mask against the Bucks on Saturday.

He had a procedure on Friday and should be ready to go. Singler broke his nose and it shouldn't affect his playing time. He's a low-ceiling option in deep leagues.

Kyle Singler (nasal fracture) is questionable for Saturday's game in Milwaukee

Singler was injured on Wednesday, when he scored 14 points in 22 minutes vs. the Magic. He continues to hold down a starting job but hasn't done much to help fantasy owners, averaging 7.4 points on 42.0 percent shooting, so there's no incentive to gamble on him while his status is in doubt.
Jan 23 - 12:14 PM

Kyle Singler cooled off vs. the Hawks on Monday, making 2-of-7 shots with one 3-pointer to finish with five points, four boards and one assist.

He added a steal without any turnovers in 22 minutes, but this was a predictable letdown after watching him score 20 points vs. the Sixers' defense on Saturday. Although he continues to hold down a starting job in Detroit, Singler only provides a trickle of scoring and 3-pointers for deep-league owners.
Jan 19 - 6:27 PM

Kyle Singler scored 20 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and six 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

He was hot early with three 3-pointers in the first quarter. Singler scored just 17 points combined in his previous three games, so there's little reason to be excited about this one. He's only an option in deep leagues.
Jan 17 - 10:26 PM

Kyle Singler managed just two points on 1-of-4 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 25 minutes on Monday.

Singler started to make some noise about a week ago but never really followed up on it. Owners can watch this action from the wire in most standard formats.
Jan 16 - 10:05 PM

Kyle Singler scored eight points on 3-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, one steal and one block over 31 minutes in Friday's win over the Raptors.

Singler has a solid 16-point, six-rebound, five-assist line with three treys on Friday and he's getting starter's minutes at small forward right now. He's never been much more than a low-end play in standard formats, but he could be headed that direction so give him a look.
Jan 12 - 10:32 PM

Kyle Singler scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including three treys) with six rebounds and five assists in the Pistons' 106-103 loss to the visiting Hawks on Friday.

The Pistons couldn't win forever and snapped a seven-game winning streak since the Josh Smith trade. Singler hasn't been worth owning for a while and we'll need to see more of this before heading that direction.
Jan 10 - 1:16 AM

Kyle Singler is expected to stay in the starting lineup for the Pistons with Josh Smith being waived on Monday.

He's started 14 games and came off the bench for 14 with coach Stan Van Gundy messing with his rotation. While Singler gets the starts, the biggest winner could wind up being Jonas Jerebko, who averaged 16.3 minutes per game and a usage rate of 22.9. Jerebko is worth a look in deeper leagues.

Kyle Singler will draw the start against Sacramento on Saturday, sending Greg Monroe back to the bench.

This is likely a strategic move to compensate for a Kings team without their star center, Demarcus Cousins, so owners shouldn't do anything too drastic. Monroe has been able to hold his value off of the bench, but Singler has been inconsistent this season and is only an option in deeper leagues.

Kyle Singler scored 21 points in a start against the 76ers on Saturday with six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

He started hot and didn't make many mistakes tonight. Singler did benefit from Andre Drummond being benched to indirectly open up some minutes at small forward. He's had big games before, but this still isn't enough to add him in standard leagues.

Kyle Singler will start against the Sixers and Greg Monroe will come off the bench.

The Pistons have lost 10 in a row, so coach Stan Van Gundy is going to mix it up. Single is still not likely going to get a huge amount of shots tonight and is more of a deep-league play. Monroe should be fine.
Sat, Dec 6, 2014 07:17:00 PM

Kyle Singler moved into the Pistons' starting five on Sunday and played 28 minutes in a losing effort, scoring nine points with two 3-pointers, four rebounds and four assists.

He added two steals and one block to round out a solid line, but owners should view the defensive stats as a fluke -- if you're eyeing him as a waiver wire pickup, it should be purely as a 3-point specialist with a trickle of points, boards and steals.
Sun, Nov 30, 2014 07:50:00 PM

Kyle Singler scored a season-high 21 points against the Grizzlies on Saturday with four rebounds, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers.

He scored just 20 points combined in his previous four games, so it's hard to get too excited about this one. Singler can be left on the wire in most leagues.
Sun, Nov 16, 2014 12:15:00 AM

Kyle Singler will likely head to the bench as the Pistons take on the Knicks Wednesday night.

Stan Van Gundy has said that he plans on putting Greg Monroe into the starting lineup, in order to matchup Josh Smith with Carmelo Anthony, which would then send Singler to the bench. Over the first three games of the season Singler has averaged 6.0 points and 2.7 rebounds on 35.0 percent shooting from the field, in other words, he doesn’t belong on a roster in standard leagues.
