If they are unable to find a trade partner, the Thunder may consider waiving Kyle Singler via the stretch provision this summer, according to OKC beat writer Brett Dawson.
Singler, who averaged just 2.8 points per game for the Thunder this past season, is set to make $4.6 million in 2017-18, $4.9 million in 2018-19 and $5.3 million in 2019-20. (That final season is non-guaranteed). If they used the stretch provision, Singler's annual salary would be cut in half. However, that reduced amount would stay on the books for seven seasons. From a fantasy perspective, Singler should be avoided on draft day in October. Fri, May 12, 2017 11:40:00 AM

Kyle Singler was back in OKC's rotation on Wednesday, playing 10 minutes to finish scoreless with one rebound.

Norris Cole shifted to the inactive list after playing six minutes during Game 1, but Singler obviously wasn't a factor tonight. Neither guy is worth your attention as a DFS option.

Kyle Singler started in place of Andre Roberson (rest) on Wednesday, going for eight points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

Roberson should be ready to go this weekend, relegating Singler to a small role off the bench -- if he's in the rotation at all.

Kyle Singler started on Tuesday vs. the Wolves and scored a season-high 11 points with four rebounds and one triple in 28 minutes.

That's considered a great night for Singler -- his previous season-high was eight points. Even if the Thunder rest multiple players again on Wednesday, Singler has very little fantasy appeal.

Kyle Singler will start Tuesday's game vs. Minnesota.

OKC is resting Andre Roberson and Doug McDermott (knee) has been ruled out. As a result, Singler will draw his first start of the season. He should log over 30 minutes, but it's still difficult to get excited about his fantasy prospects, even as a DFS punt. Singler's season high is eight points.

Kyle Singler was busy on Sunday, playing 34 minutes off the bench to finish with eight points on 4-of-8 shooting, four boards, three assists, three steals and one block.

Doug McDermott (knee) and Alex Abrines (knee) were both on the sidelines today, while Andre Roberson (knee) was on a minute-limit, which thrust Singler into an unusually large role. This is the first time he's played more than 18 minutes since Nov. 30.

Kyle Singler had one of his best games in quite some time on Thursday, scoring 15 points with six rebounds, one assist and five 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

He stepped up in a big way with Andre Roberson (knee) sitting this game out. Obviously Singler is not worth drafting in almost any fantasy league.

Kyle Singler said that his rest has been shorter than usual this summer because he started training right after the playoffs ended.

"When I was trying to think about how I want to maximize my summer, my first thing I wanted to do was play as much basketball as possible," Singler said. "I knew that summer league was coming around and guys were gonna be here working out, playing. I thought that was a great opportunity to come in for sure." There's a huge hole at small forward with Kevin Durant gone, but the Thunder could look at guys like Ersan Ilyasova, Anthony Morrow, Andre Roberson or even Josh Huestis at the three. Even if he wins the starting job, Singler won't be a good fantasy target.

Kyle Singler (illness) will not play in Game 5 vs. the Spurs on Tuesday.

Singler hasn't played in three straight games anyways, so this won't impact the rotation. Josh Huestis will join the active list.

Kyle Singler started in place of Kevin Durant (rest) on Monday vs. the Pistons, scoring six points with four boards and one steal in 18 minutes.

It's a bad sign if Singler can't reach 20 minutes with KD on the shelf. Leave him on the wire.

Kyle Singler (back) returned to action on Saturday vs. the Spurs and played seven minutes.

He missed his only shot and finished with three fouls. In case it's not obvious, he's not a fantasy asset.

Kyle Singler (back) will play against the Spurs on Saturday and the Thunder will not rest player.

Singler likely won't be playing much here. He can be left on the wire in almost all leagues.

Kyle Singler (back) will not suit up for Thursday's game against the Jazz.

It'll be his third straight game on the shelf, although head coach Billy Donovan did say that he's improving. Singler belongs on the wire in all leagues.
Thu, Mar 24, 2016 06:46:00 PM

Kyle Singler (back) participated during Thursday's shootaround.

Singler has spent the past two games on the sidelines, but his participation during shootaround is a good sign regarding his availability for tonight's game against Utah. He's not a fantasy option anywhere, but if Singler can play, he could take away some minutes from Dion Waiters.
Thu, Mar 24, 2016 03:05:00 PM

Kyle Singler (back) will not play Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

His minutes will be divvied up between Andre Roberson, Randy Foye, Cameron Payne and Dion Waiters. Singler belongs on the wire in all formats.
