Sixers sign G Malcom Lee.

He will be with the team against the Thunder tonight. Lee probably won't have much fantasy value, but this move doesn't bode well for the outlook of Tony Wroten (knee) and Alexey Shved (hip).

Oct 25 - 6:47 PM

Malcolm Lee (ankle) will not play against the Nets on Monday.

He was on his way to his biggest game before spraining his ankle in his 10th minute of action on Saturday. Lee could wind up making the team, but that has a lot to do with how the 76ers handle the Jason Richardson situation.
Oct 20 - 12:11 PM

Malcolm Lee suffered a left ankle sprain on Saturday and did not return.

He has a chance to make the team, but he's falling behind guys like Elliot Williams and K.J. McDaniels for minutes. Lee can be ignored in all leagues.

The 76ers added SG Malcolm Lee to their training camp roster on Tuesday.

Lee played with the Wolves from 2011-13, but knee and hip surgeries kept him out of the league last season. The Sixers' SG spot is weak enough that Lee has a shot to make the regular-season roster.

Malcolm Lee had right hip and right knee surgeries in January and is still rehabbing the injuries, leaving his future with the Suns in question.

His right quadriceps still has not strengthened enough for him to be cleared for full basketball contact and his quadriceps will be remeasured Friday. "I thought I’d be back by now," Lee said. "It’s definitely frustrating because going into the summer, I assumed I’d be back by training camp. It just sucks that I wasn’t."

Malcolm Lee (knee and hip surgery) will have restrictions during the Suns' training camp.

It's encouraging that he's participating at all, nine months after having multiple surgeries, but it's unclear when he'll be fully cleared for basketball activities.

Malcolm Lee (knee) believes he'll be ready for training camp.

The Suns agreed to take on Lee's fully guaranteed $884K salary this season so they could move up and draft Archie Goodwin at No. 29 overall. Lee has had two knee surgeries and a hip surgery since breaking into the league in 2011. He's a poor bet to crack the rotation this season.

Malcolm Lee was traded from the Wolves to the Golden State Warriors in a draft-day deal on Thursday and was later traded to the Phoenix Suns.

He was pretty much just a throw-in player to and from the Warriors in these deal. When the Wolves were decimated in the backcourt, Lee started 12 games and scored 5.4 points. He had surgery on his knee and hip in January and is a longshot to be a contributor for the Suns -- the team in which he started his career.

The hip procedure completes a surgery doubleheader for Lee, who faces a very lengthy and difficult rehab to get back on the court. Needless to say, he's out for the season.
