Jon Leuer played 13 minutes and hit all four of his shots for 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in Tuesday's easy win over Charlotte.
Leuer saw some minutes with the game out of hand, as well as because of an injury to Darrell Arthur. He has no fantasy value, but is worth keeping an eye on in case the Grizzlies want to give him a look over the last few games. Apr 10 - 12:07 AM

Date:

Jon Leuer practiced with his new team Thursday and will be available to play for the Grizzlies on Friday night.

Leuer has bounced between the Cavs and the D-League this season, but could get a shot to do something off Memphis' short bench. Owners in even the deepest leagues will likely want to wait to see what sort of role he carves out before taking a look at him.

Jon Leuer has been traded to the Grizzlies.

Leuer has been in and out of the D-League for the Cavs this season, but he should get a shot to contribute on what is now a very depleted Memphis bench.

Cavs recall F Jon Leuer from the D-League.

Leuer was assigned less than a week ago and will rejoin the Cavs at the end of the bench.

Cavs assigned F Jon Leuer to the D-League.

This will be Leuer's second D-League stint. He has averaged 3.2 points in five games this season.
Jan 3 - 4:21 PM

Cavs recall Jon Leuer from the D-League.

Leuer had been playing really well in the D-League, and that may have had something to do with him being recalled, but it could also be a sign that Anderson Varejao (knee) might miss a few games.

Cavs assign F Jon Leuer to the D-League.

Leuer needs consistent playing time and wasn't getting it with the Cavs.

Jon Leuer's roster spot appears safe, but he'll face an uphill battle for consistent minutes in the rotation.

Leuer is expected to exclusively play power forward, but with Tristan Thompson, Anderson Varejao and even Samardo Samuels, it's going to be extremely tough for Leuer to appear on the fantasy radar.

Jon Leuer will only play power forward for the Cavs.

Although Leuer saw some time at center for the Bucks last season, his natural position is a "stretch four." He'll battle with Samardo Samuels for minutes behind starting power forward Tristan Thompson.

Cavs claimed F/C Jon Leuer off waivers from the Rockets.

Leuer was recently traded to the Rockets from the Bucks, and is now on his way to Cleveland. He actually started a few games for the Bucks last season, but should be nowhere near fantasy starting lineups this season.

The Timberwolves are "considering putting a claim in" on recently waived Jon Leuer.

Leuer, who was traded to the Rockets by the Bucks, was waived by Houston shortly after the deal was completed. Now, he's drawing interest from the T-Wolves, and it would be really surprising if he made it through the waiver process unclaimed. If not Minnesota, we expect an interested team to put in a bid on Leuer.

The Rockets waived F/C Jon Leuer and C Jerome Jordan on Wednesday.

The big takeaway from these moves is that it clears salary cap room for the Rockets to officially extend an offer sheet to Bulls C Omer Asik. The Asik offer is supposed to be similar in breakdown to the $25.1 million deal just given to Jeremy Lin.

Jon Leuer was traded from the Bucks to the Rockets on Wednesday.

Leuer's $762k salary is fully unguaranteed if he's waived before July 30 (or July 15 or another date...visit ShamSports.com for the contractual fine print). Chad Ford reports that the Rockets will keep him, but he isn't a fantasy asset.

Jon Leuer started for the Bucks on Wednesday and had eight points, six rebounds, a steal and block in 21 minutes.

He should start again in Thursday's finale, but we'd rather roll the dice on Larry Sanders for fantasy purposes.

Jon Leuer (illness) did not practice on Monday.

Leuer was being checked for strep throat and was unable to participate in practice because he was feeling under the weather. His status for Tuesday's game is unknown, but he should be considered questionable until we get a more clearer outlook on his diagnosis.
