Bojan Bogdanovic scored five points in 15 minutes on Wednesday, going 2-of-6 from the field with one 3-pointer, two rebounds and two turnovers.
Bogdanovic was riding a 10-game streak with double-digit points, but he took a backseat in the rotation tonight -- the Wizards deployed 10 players, and only Brandon Jennings logged fewer minutes than Bojan. This is a perfect example of his hollow fantasy value, as he doesn't help you when he's not scoring. Mar 22 - 11:37 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 12 points with three rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Hornets on Saturday.

After a torrid start, he has been as advertised with double-digit scoring and some treys. Bogdanovic hasn't picked up a steal in his last five games and he's totaled just three dimes in that span, too. He hasn't turned in top-200 value in his last seven games because he's really just a two-category guy. Bogie is just a specialist.
Mar 18 - 9:51 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 19 points in 24 minutes on Wednesday, going 4-of-5 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist.

Bogdanovic also had four turnovers without any defensive stats, but he gave owners what they expect -- scoring and 3-pointers. The loss dropped Washington 1.5 games behind the Celtics, who won tonight, but they draw a pair of struggling opponents this weekend in Chicago and Charlotte.
Mar 15 - 11:12 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 11 points with two rebounds and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

That's now three games in a row of Bogdanovic showing he's more likely to be this type of player and not that absurd, unsustainable scorer he was earlier this week. He's really just a specialist for points and treys.
Mar 12 - 3:13 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 17 points with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

He did close this game out next to Otto Porter at the forward spots. Bogdanovic didn't even make any 3-pointers in this game, but he's added some nice cutting and even runs the offense on occasion. He hasn't been fantasy friendly for a long time and is likely just a low-end guy at best the rest of the way.
Mar 11 - 1:55 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 10 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and no 3-pointers against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Shooters shoot and they also come back to earth very quickly when they're not in the ideal spot. In his previous six games, Bogdanovic had a very unsustainable 82.5 true shooting percentage while the Wizards needed treys in some comeback attempts. Considering the Wizards are good and how Otto Porter is in the running for Most Improved Player, Bojan is going to be more of a scoring specialist on a bumpy ride the rest of the way. He could be in a good spot against the Kings on Friday, especially if Markieff Morris is suspended.
Mar 9 - 2:24 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic stayed hot and hit 5-of-9 shots, three 3-pointers and 16-of-16 free throws on his way to 29 points, and nine rebounds in Tuesday's 131-127 win over the Suns.

The 29 points tied his season high and he's scored at least 27 points in three of his last four games, despite coming off the bench for the Wizards. He's been one of the trade deadline's biggest success stories and he's wrecking teammates Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre in the process. Despite a six-point dud on Friday, BB is now averaging 21 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.0 3-pointers on 58 percent shooting over his last five games. He also hasn't missed a free throw in eight straight games. Make sure he's in your lineup, and if he's not, make sure he's not somehow floating around on waivers. He doesn't have enough time to win the Sixth Man of the Year Award, but he might make it interesting.
Mar 8 - 12:45 AM

Bojan Bogdanovich posted 27 points in 27 minutes off the bench Sunday against the Wizards, finishing 8-of-10 from behind the arc.

Bogdanovic is the fifth player in franchise history to hit eight or more 3-pointers in a game. He has fit in nicely since coming over from the Nets, averaging 18.2 points over his past five outings while averaging four 3-pointers per contest. The sharpshooter might be available in some fantasy formats, but his percentage owned is likely to increase quickly if continues to play well so act soon.
Mar 5 - 8:00 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored six points with one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes against the Raptors on Friday.

He was great on Wednesday with 27 points, but he just doesn't have a clear path for minutes. Bogdanovic is only worth a look in deep leagues.
Mar 3 - 11:55 PM

John Wall praised Bojan Bogdanovic after he scored 27 points in 25 minutes on Wednesday with six 3-pointers.

"You never know who is going to be our leading scorer," Wall said. "He's a guy that can come off pindowns, shoot the ball very well. We do a great job of spacing floor and he's able to get wide-open looks. We have to be able to knock down shots. He also is able to make plays off the dribble. I think that's what's helping us out, having us a go-to guy we can go to a little bit in the second unit." The Wizards are ranked 29th in the NBA in bench scoring, so they deserve a lot of credit for addressing that weakness at the trade deadline. As good as Bogdanovic was on Wednesday, he's more of a specialist for owners in need of points and triples.
Mar 2 - 9:53 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 27 points in 25 minutes on Wednesday, making 9-of-12 shots with a 6-of-7 mark from downtown.

Bogdanovic added two rebounds and two turnovers without any assists, steals or blocks. He sparked a second-unit run that smashed the Raptors early, resulting in a 16-point lead at halftime, which helped them hold on down the stretch. Bogdanovic's sharp shooting is a welcome addition to the Wizards' thin bench and he's played great in his new uniform, but owners shouldn't rely on him for much beyond scoring categories.
Mar 1 - 10:44 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic hit 5-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 16 points, two rebounds and a steal in his third game with the Wizards on Tuesday.

He had 15 points, three 3-pointers, a steal and a block in 33 minutes on Sunday, giving him two straight quality games for his new team. It's hard to say if he's going to keep it up or not, but he's off to a good start in Washington. He easily led the Wizards' bench in minutes played with 24 of them, so keep a close eye on him.
Feb 28 - 9:49 PM

In his second game with the Wizards, Bojan Bogdanovic made 5-of-10 shots with three 3-pointers to score 15 points in 33 minutes.

Bogdanovic added one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block tonight, but supporting stats have never been his strong suit -- he has four blocks all season. He's a good shooter but doesn't really have guys capable of creating open looks for him in the second unit. The minutes were up a bit tonight with Markieff Morris in foul trouble, and fantasy owners can ignore Bojan unless you need points and 3-pointers in a deeper league.
Feb 26 - 7:51 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic made his Wizards debut on Friday with two points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 18 minutes.

If you want to look at a positive, at least he had one block -- he had just three blocks in his previous 1,482 minutes this season with Brooklyn. Bogdanovic's fantasy value falls off a cliff on his new team.
Feb 24 - 10:10 PM

Coach Scott Brooks said Bojan Bogdanovic will be a "big-time" shooter off the bench for the Wizards.

Brooks said they like his size, how he cuts and how he cuts off pin-downs. Still, it's all about the shooting for Bogie. On the season, he's made 39.4 percent on catch-and-shoot treys compared to 28.4 percent on pull-ups. Bogdanovic is not going to have much value in most leagues.
