Sean Marks implied Bojan Bogdanovic could have a lighter workload during training camp after he played in 20 games for Team Croatia this summer.
"He’s chomping at the bit to get out there, but he’s put in some hard yards this summer, so it’ll be bringing him along slowly," Marks said. "It’s almost that you have to hold him back a little bit because it’s a grind in the season and you’ve already put in your training camp hours." Bogdanovic led the Olympics in scoring with 25.3 points a night in Rio, and he should get a healthy heaping of minutes this season as Brooklyn's starting small forward. He's worth a look late for those seeking some scoring and 3-point shooting. Sep 25 - 6:00 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic thinks the Nets can make the playoffs in 2016-17.

While Bogdanovic has some high hopes for a rebuilding Nets franchise, we applaud his optimism. "I think we can,’’ Bogdanovic said of the team's postseason chances. "They can write what they want. But we’re going to work hard to give it our best. When we get in a game, we have a chance to beat anybody. It’s going to be tough, but if we play like we practice, we have a chance." Bojan should see plenty of minutes for the Nets this season and is worth a look at the end of fantasy drafts.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a game-high 28 points to lead Croatia on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough to avoid defeat in the quarterfinals.

The Nets' sharpshooter didn't seem bothered by his recent ankle injury, as he lit up Serbia on 7-of-15 field goals and 10-of-12 free throws, with three rebounds and two assists in nearly 39 minutes of action. He was excellent in a featured scoring role during the Olympics, which could prompt the Nets to find him more minutes in the wing rotation.
Aug 17 - 11:35 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 points in a win over Lithuania on Monday, adding two rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

He did have a minor ankle tweak at the end of the game, but he did walk it off. Bogdanovic is not looking to pass very often as Croatia's go-to scorer, especially on the perimeter. He's the leading scorer in Rio at 24.8 points per game with a solid 51.4 percent from the field. The Croatians are finally getting in a better offensive rhythm, so they're as dangerous as it gets for USA's competition.
Aug 15 - 11:21 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 28 points during a stunning 90-76 loss to Nigeria on Saturday, adding three rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers.

Not many saw this coming after Croatia turned in impressive wins over Brazil and Spain. Luckily for them, their wins over those two teams will likely come in handy for the tiebreaker, so they don't need to beat Lithuania on Monday. Expect to a lot of shots from Bogdanovic on Monday.
Aug 13 - 11:35 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic could not be stopped during Croatia's 80-76 win over Brazil on Thursday, going off for 33 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field while connecting on 10 of his 11 freebies.

Bogdanovic also added three triples, six rebounds, three assists and four turnovers during his 38 minutes of playing time, and Croatia now sits at 2-1 through the first three games of the Olympic tournament. Bogdanovic should start for the Nets this upcoming season, and he could realistically be the No. 2 or 3 option on offense. That being said, he usually doesn't bring much to the box score aside from his scoring and 3-point shooting, so he won't be worth much more than a late-round pick.
Aug 11 - 3:09 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 18 points with seven rebounds, two assists and one trey in Tuesday's loss to Argentina, shooting 5-of-13 from the field.

He's a completely new player when he plays for Croatia, so hopefully his confidence carries over into the Nets' season with Kenny Atkinson at the helm. If the Nets decide to start Bogdanovic next to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on the wings, he could have some value as a pure scorer with a healthy dose of 3-pointers.
Aug 9 - 11:56 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 23 points in 26 minutes of action on Sunday, getting Croatia off to a strong start in their tough Group B matchup.

The 27-year-old forward was terrific offensively, scoring with ease all over the court, which is a great sight for Brooklyn -- the Nets sent an assistant coach to work with Bogdanovic prior to the Olympics, stressing his spot-up shooting and post-up game. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is a roadblock to a starting job for Bogdanovic, but he could still be a worthy fantasy target depending upon Kenny Atkinson's rotations.
Aug 7 - 8:22 PM

Nets assistant coach Chris Fleming flew to Croatia to meet with Bojan Bogdanovic about his offseason plans.

"It’s important for me that Chris came to Zagreb, that Nets sent him there," Bogdanovic said. "That’s proof for me that Nets have big plans for me in next season. We talked a lot what I should improve in my game. He said [for me] to be more consistent in spot up shooting coming from screens. Also, I should post up more, because I did that a lot in Europe, but not in NBA." While the Nets may have high hopes for Bogdanovic, his role could take a hit next season with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson coming for his minutes.
Jun 12 - 9:48 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 29 points (10-of-17 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs) in Wednesday's 103-96 loss to the Raptors, adding six boards, two assists, one steal and seven 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

This was the Nets' 10th loss in a row, their worst streak since 2010. Bogdanovic struggled with consistency all season and was averaging 11.0 points, 3.2 boards, 1.2 assists and 1.6 3-pointers on 42.9 percent shooting prior to Wednesday. He is under contract with the Nets for a couple more season, but he will have a tough time holding off Rondae Hollis-Jefferson for the starting small forward job next season.
Apr 13 - 10:35 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic's shooting slump continued on Sunday, as he made only 2-of-15 shots to finish with 10 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes.

The second-year swingman is just 6-of-39 over Brooklyn's past three games, a brutal stretch that makes it impossible to touch him in most fantasy formats.
Apr 10 - 8:54 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic started at power forward against the Wizards on Wednesday, making 2-of-12 from the field for four points with two rebounds and one turnover.

He was terrible in his 21 minutes of action. The Nets have rested him before, but they don't have any more back-to-back sets the rest of the way. He's more of a borderline player to own in standard leagues, especially with a lot of upside picks out there.
Apr 6 - 10:45 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Washington.

Bogdanovic had spent the past two games on the sidelines for rest purposes, but he'll be out there tonight for a very favorable matchup against the Wizards, so go ahead and get him active. His return to the starting five will likely push Wayne Ellington back to the bench, and Ellington could find himself picking up a DNP-CD with Bogdanovic active.
Apr 6 - 11:25 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) will be active, but he isn't expected to play on Sunday vs. the Pelicans.

He isn't injured, but the Nets want to give some other players a look down the stretch. This will be his second game in a row on the shelf if he does sit, so he belongs on the wire in standard leagues since the Nets play just three times next week. Wayne Ellington, Sergey Karasev and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will benefit if he is held out.
Apr 3 - 11:29 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) will not play on Friday vs. the Knicks.

He's only averaging 11.8 points, 2.0 boards, 1.2 assists and 1.8 3-pointers in 23.6 minutes over his last five games, so he's no longer a must-own guy. The Nets only play three times next week as well. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will start on Friday and could see around 20 minutes.
