Bojan Bogdanovic could play on Friday even without a practice session.
The trade is official and he should be active, but his playing time should still be unclear. Bogdanovic will add some much needed bench scoring to the Wizards, but his numbers are certainly going to drop on his new team. He has lost most of his fantasy value. Feb 23 - 12:24 PM

The Wizards will acquire Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough in a trade with the Nets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The Nets will get back Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton and a lottery-protected 2017 first-round pick. The Wizards lost out on the Lou Williams sweepstakes, so they'll go after the next easy trade target out there. Bogdanovic's playing time was really trending up with 29.4 minutes per game in February, averaging 15.1 points, 5.3 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.7 treys. Obviously his value will be falling off a cliff in fantasy. Meanwhile, guys like Caris LeVert, Sean Kilpatrick, Joe Harris and Thornton should all be looking to pick up some of that playing time. Most owners can take a wait-and-see approach, especially with Jeremy Lin likely to return.
Feb 22 - 3:59 PM

Teams pursuing Bojan Bogdanovic have reportedly been ramping up their offers, and it's getting to the point where Brooklyn will be choosing the best deal available.

Thus far we've only heard that the Wizards were interested in acquiring Bogdanovic, but Woj is reporting that multiple teams have been involved. It seems likely that Bogdanovic will be dealt at the deadline, and his value would likely take a bit of a hit playing outside of Brooklyn. A Bogdanovic departure could clear the way for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to flirt with minutes in the 30s, so he's someone to consider stashing away in deep leagues ahead of the deadline.
Feb 21 - 4:30 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Wizards have some interest in Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Wizards are looking to upgrade their bench at the deadline and have also been linked to Lou Williams. The Nets are looking for draft picks to speed up their rebuild, and the Wizards "have shown an inclination" to give up a future first-round pick for the right deal. Bogdanovic would surely lose value on a team like the Wizards, but his absence could open the door for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert to have a larger role in Brooklyn's offense.
Feb 19 - 10:00 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic made 6-of-18 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs to finish Wednesday's game with a team-high 21 points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes.

Such versatility is unusual. The steals were Bogdanovic's first in seven games, and he's still sitting on three blocks combined all season. If you own him it's for the scoring (14.3 ppg) and 3-pointers (1.8), but in his defense Bogdanovic has now scored double-digit points in a career-high-tying eight consecutive games. Use him accordingly.
Feb 8 - 11:38 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting in Tuesday's 111-107 loss to the Hornets.

This was his 11th game of the season with 20+ points. With Caris LeVert (knee) out, Bogdanovic logged 30 minutes and added five boards, one triple and three triples while hitting all five of his free throws. LeVert is expected back on Wednesday vs. the Wizards, so Bogdanovic's ceiling won't be as high. He's a low-end option that's only worth owning if you need points, triples and FT percentage.
Feb 7 - 9:38 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) returned to the starting lineup following a one-game stint on the sidelines on Sunday and put up 13 points, three boards, two assists and five turnovers in 27 minutes.

Points and triples, that’s what he’s good for, although Bojan doesn't always get those categories efficiently. Bogdanovic has barely been a top-150 option in 8-cat leagues this season, and he's just not been worth owning in standard 9-cat leagues, although his value is much improved in points formats.
Feb 5 - 2:45 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic is starting on Sunday vs. the Raptors.

He's returning from a day of rest on Friday vs. the Pacers, his first missed game of the season. With Caris LeVert out with knee soreness today, Bogdanovic's ceiling is a bit higher. He's averaging 14.4 points, 4.4 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.4 triples in his last nine appearances.
Feb 5 - 11:48 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic is resting on Friday night against the Pacers.

This is his first game out of the lineup and it'll be Caris LeVert starting tonight. Bogdanovic has actually played well, averaging 13.6 points, 3.6 boards, 2.1 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.0 treys in January. Besides LeVert, Sean Kilpatrick and Randy Foye should also benefit.
Feb 3 - 6:01 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 23 points with six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

After two home games, Bogdanovic had it going on the road after another 23-point game in his previous road game. The Nets haven't rested Bogie yet, so there is a very good chance that happens on Saturday. He's only a borderline player to hold in standard leagues.
Jan 20 - 11:56 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 23 points during a 132-113 loss to the Raptors on Friday, adding four rebounds, two assists and five 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

He's been a much more consistent scorer this year, hitting the 20-point mark for the ninth time this season to match his career best. His five triples are also the most he's had in a road game in his career. The problem is he doesn't do much else, which explains why he's only held ninth-round value in his last 10 despite some solid play. Give him a look if you need scoring.
Jan 13 - 11:01 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 10 points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Pelicans on Thursday.

He lost some minutes to Caris LeVert, which figures to happen more often going forward. Bogdanovic hasn't rested this season, so it could be his turn to sit out against the Raptors on Friday. He hasn't even cracked top-150 value in standard leagues to this point and may start to trend down, so plan accordingly.
Jan 12 - 10:19 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 16 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs) with six rebounds, four assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes vs. the Hawks on Tuesday.

His minutes are up and he's now played 31+ minutes in three straight games after playing just 12 against the Pacers on Jan. 5. He's averaging 17.0 points, 3.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 triples in that three-game span, so give him a look while he's rolling. The Nets have three more games this week.
Jan 10 - 10:48 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 23 points in a 116-108 loss to the Cavs on Friday, adding two rebounds, four assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Message received. Bogdanovic may have been the target of coach Kenny Atkinson's comments about the first unit coming out flat on Thursday. Bogdanovic may have also had his light night for minutes on Thursday, so he should be fine for Sunday in the last of the three games in four nights.
Jan 6 - 11:34 PM

Coach Kenny Atkinson said the first unit took the Nets out of it early and there was a "big difference" compared to the second unit.

"We came out like mush for some reason," Atkinson said "This [Pacers] team’s too good to come with so-so energy. It’s not good enough, especially on the road." Perhaps this is why Bojan played 12 minutes, so it's something to keep an eye on. We'll see what happens on Friday, but a lineup change could happen.
