Candace Buckner of the Washington Post said the Wizards "may not prioritize" keeping Bojan Bogdanovic if he can "command a big payday elsewhere."
The Wizards gave up their 2017 first-round pick in order to acquire Bogdanovic, but their biggest priority is to re-sign Otto Porter first. Both players are restricted free agents, but Porter is expected to receive max contract offers which limits Washington's financial flexibility. Bogdanovic averaged 12.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 triples following his trade from the Nets and shouldn't have any problem landing a sizable contract this summer. May 18 - 10:43 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic (illness) scored five points on 1-of-2 shooting with one rebound in 16 minutes in Monday's Game 7 loss to Boston.

Bogdanovic was the only bench player to score for Washington and everyone else was 0-of-3 from the field. The second unit has been Washington's biggest weakness all season, so expect that to be a priority this summer after they try to lock up Otto Porter to a new deal.
May 15 - 11:56 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic (illness) will play on Monday vs. the Celtics in Game 7.

According to coach Scott Brooks, everyone on the Wizards is available. Bogdanovic has been battling the flu for a few days and sat out of Saturday's practice, but expect him to see his normal role with minutes in the high teens or low 20s.
May 15 - 12:03 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic (illness) did not practice on Saturday.

It's just some rest after he had a bad case of the flu on Friday. Bogdanovic was still able to play 17 minutes in Game 6, so he should be in that neighborhood again for Monday.
May 13 - 3:49 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic played through an illness on Friday with four points and four rebounds in 17 minutes.

No flu game for Bogie here, but credit to him for going out there. Bogdanovic should be close to 100 percent for Monday.
May 12 - 11:15 PM

Coach Scott Brooks said Bojan Bogdanovic (illness) will play in Game 6 on Friday.

He is under the weather and was sent home from shootaround this morning. The Celtics wore all black to this game and it was a hot topic for Brooks, so he had plenty of jokes about it. "I heard [Bojan] is wearing black," Brooks said. We could get a Bogie flu game, but he may be limited as well.
May 12 - 6:31 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic (illness) has a bad case of the flu and intends to play in Game 6 on Friday.

This is the first we've heard of the illness, but hearing a "bad case" doesn't sound promising about Bogdanovic being 100 percent. Kelly Oubre will likely be getting more cheers at home tonight, so expect him to get some extra run. Otto Porter may play slightly more, as well.
May 12 - 5:53 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic cooled off during the Wizards' Game 5 loss on Wednesday, making 1-of-7 shots for six points, six rebounds, four assists and one steal.

The supporting stats were unexpected, but Bogdanovic's primary role is to score for the second unit. His home vs. away splits in the semifinals are representative of this series as a whole -- he's averaging 16.0 points on 58.0 percent shooting in two home victories, but just 5.3 points on 28.6 percent shooting in three losses at Boston. The good news for Washington is that they head home for Game 6 on Friday.
May 10 - 10:59 PM

Coach Scott Brooks said he could see Bojan Bogdanovic playing "good, quality minutes" against the Celtics on Sunday.

With Kelly Oubre out, Brooks did say he was looking at all options, but he did hint that he's looking at just one guy to step up. Brook also said it was his fault for not playing Bogdanovic more in Game 2 with just eight minutes, so it does sound like he's the next man up here.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: While Bogdanovic double-doubled on Thursday, he picked up five of his ten rebounds in garbage time. We can’t expect the same type of performance in Game 4, but he still presents a solid value with Oubre out. So far this postseason, he’s averaging 0.88 DK ppm with a 19.5% usage rate. His bump in minutes came at the expense of Markieff Morris on Thursday, who he replaced both times he entered. With Porter playing so well and Brooks trying to counter Boston’s small lineups by getting Bojan a larger workload alongside Porter, Morris is looking a little risky.
May 6 - 4:50 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 19 points with 10 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday.

He could be looking at some extra minutes because Kelly Oubre likely has a suspension coming his way. Bogdanovic only played eight minutes in Game 2 and his role hasn't exactly been consistent since he first showed up on the Wizards just after the trade deadline.
May 4 - 11:00 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored eight points with six rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Knicks on Thursday.

He took minutes away from Otto Porter in this game, which comes as a surprise after just 12 minutes on Tuesday. Bogdanovic is still too tough to trust, especially with how well Kelly Oubre has played lately.
Apr 6 - 10:53 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic played 12 minutes during Tuesday's win vs. the visiting Hornets, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting with one 3-pointer, two rebounds and one assist.

Washington won the season tie-breaker, finishing 3-1 vs. Charlotte this season, and Bogdanovic was solid in his time on the court. The emergence of Kelly Oubre (15 points, five rebounds, three 3-pointers) has limited Bogdanovic, however, and he's a fantasy liability when his shots aren't falling.
Apr 5 - 12:09 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic tied a team-high with 20 points in Sunday's 139-115 loss at Golden State.

Bogdanovic hit six of his 11 field goal attempts, including four 3-pointer tries, while adding six boards and two steals. It was an impressive showing in his 29 minutes on the floor, and he saw extra run with the game out of hand and the starters powering it down earlier than usual. He entered the game with just 19 total points over his past three outings, so this was a much needed solid performance for his nervous fantasy owners.
Apr 2 - 11:45 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored three points with two rebounds and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes against the Clippers on Wednesday.

It's just not going well for him these days. The Wizards are struggling on defense and Kelly Oubre is playing the best basketball of his life, so Bogdanovic is a clear drop in most leagues.
Mar 30 - 1:23 AM

Bojan Bogdanovic (back) returned from a one-game absence on Tuesday vs. the Lakers and scored six points on 3-of-8 shooting.

Maybe the Wizards were taking it easy on him, as he only played 16 minutes with one rebound, one assist and one steal. It also doesn't help that Kelly Oubre is playing much better these days. He did score 17 points in his previous game before missing Saturday's contest vs. Cleveland, but standard-league owners should probably look elsewhere for consistent production.
