Josh Harrellson is hoping that he can use summer league as a springboard back to the NBA.

Jorts has struggled with injuries since coming into the league, and after having back surgery that didn't allow him to play basketball for eight months, Harrellson is now working to carve his path back to the NBA.

The Suns have added Josh Harrellson to their Summer League roster.

Harrellson owns career-averages of 3.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. He'll have an opportunity to put his skills on display during Summer League, but it's unlikely he lands a deal with an NBA team. There's no fantasy value to be had here.
Jun 28 - 6:11 PM

Josh Harrelson signed a contract in Puerto Rico with Brujos de Guayama.

Harrelson has bounced around the league with the Knicks, Heat and Pistons, but it's doubtful that he ever gets another shot in the NBA. Needless to say, Harrelson is not on the fantasy radar in any league.

Josh Harrellson has signed with the Chongqing Flying Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Harrellson played 32 games with the Pistons during the 2013-14 season, but only averaged 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game. While the 25-year-old may find his way back to the NBA at some point, he'll be a non-factor in fantasy leagues if and when he does.

Pistons waive C Josh Harrellson.

This move is to pave the way for Caron Butler, but Harrellson's knee injury last season didn't give him much of a chance to stay with Detroit.

Josh Harrellson (knee) will not play on Monday vs. the Knicks.

He's been out since Feb. 1 with his meniscus tear and has no timetable to return. Harrellson played just 9.9 minutes per game before suffering the injury this season.

Josh Harrellson has a slight tear in his left meniscus and will go through a rehab session.

He's missed the last two games with knee soreness and the Pistons have pinpointed the problem. He will likely miss an extended period of time, so the Pistons might look to change around their rotation a bit to compensate. The team shouldn't have too much of a problem replacing Harrellson's 9.9 minutes per game.

Josh Harrellson (knee) will not play against the Magic on Wednesday night.

He missed Monday night and his knee injury is not considered serious. Harrellson's playing just 9.9 minutes per game as the second unit center and won't have much fantasy value while Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond are healthy.

Josh Harrellson (knee) will not play against the Heat on Monday night.

He has a minor knee injury and the details have not been revealed yet. Harrellson played 14.7 minutes per game in the previous three games and has helped the second unit as a stretch five. He has very little fantasy value.

Josh Harrellson scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Jorts got loose tonight but that has been a rare occasion since he joined the NBA. Let's see him do it again before we pay him any attention.

The Pistons got a lift from Josh Harrellson in Saturday's win, as he came off the bench for a season-high 10 points with two 3-pointers in just 13 minutes.

Jorts even had five rebounds, two assists and three blocks for what was easily his best line of the year. Barring some drastic and unexpected change to his nine minutes per game, however, he's persona non grata in fantasy leagues.

Pistons sign free agent PF Josh Harrellson to a two-year deal.

The man known as 'Jorts' now occupies the 15th roster spot for the Pistons, meaning their offseason moves have likely come to an end. Harrellson was the MVP of the Chinese Basketball Association with 22 points and 18 rebounds per game last season, and previously played for the Heat in 2012, and the Knicks in 2011. He's never made much of a dent in the NBA, and with Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe and Josh Smith around, that shouldn't change this year. Ignore him, but beware that he could become a factor if Drummond has more back issues this season.

The Heat will not sign Josh Harrellson to a second 10-day contract.

Miami chose instead to re-sign Jarvis Varnado while bringing Chris Andersen aboard. Jorts may latch on with another team but he's not a fantasy asset.

The team re-signs Jorts after releasing him in order to not have to guarantee his salary for the year.
