E'Twaun Moore is working on becoming a better point guard.
"I’m working on my point guard skills – things like my decision-making and playing out of the pick-and-roll," he said. "Now-a-days, 80 percent of the game is out of the pick-and-roll, so I’m just [focused on] making better decisions and making plays. … I definitely think this will be a breakout season for me." Moore is expected to have a real role in New Orleans, but he's not much more than a late-round flier right now. Sep 3 - 4:20 PM

E'Twaun Moore is expecting to have a breakout season in New Orleans.

Moore is expecting to see a bigger role with his new team and cited that as one of the reasons he signed with the Pelicans. "Oh yeah, I definitely think this will be a breakout season for me," Moore said. "I’m not a 100 percent sure how Coach Gentry wants to do it, whether he wants me to come off the bench as a sixth man or start, but it doesn’t matter to me." While Moore could have some fantasy value if the Pelicans suffer an injury or two, he isn't much more than a late-round flier in fantasy drafts at this point.
Aug 25 - 10:28 AM

E'Twaun Moore said that he chose the Pelicans because he was a little more comfortable with the coaching staff.

"I definitely had a lot more interest from New Orleans than the Bulls," Moore said. "I was in contact more with New Orleans. I just felt a little bit more comfortable with New Orleans’ organization and the coaching staff and everything, what they were trying to do with the future. Everything worked out." The four-year, $34 million contract probably made him feel comfortable too. Moore said he hasn't talked about his role for next season with the coaching staff, but he will likely be a key part of the second unit and could see minutes at both guard spots.

Pelicans sign G E'Twaun Moore.

Moore has officially signed his four-year, $34 million deal and will provide the Pelicans with guard depth off the bench. While the 27-year-old could see minutes if there are injuries in front of him, he won't have much fantasy value on the Pelicans second unit.
Jul 21 - 12:11 PM

The Pelicans have an agreement with E'Twaun Moore on a four-year, $34 million deal.

Moore had himself a really nice season as a combo guard and stepped up while the Bulls dealt with injuries. He had by far his best year from an efficiency standpoint, making career-highs 48.1 percent from the field and 45.2 percent from deep for his 7.5 points per game. The 27-year-old guard should provide some depth to the second unit, but doesn't have much fantasy value.
Jul 1 - 10:07 PM

The Wolves have reached out to free agent guard E'Twaun Moore.

He's drawing interest from several teams including the Bucks, but the Bulls will make it a priority to bring him back. The Bulls are still the favorites to re-sign him at this point, and that's probably the best thing for his fantasy value considering he would be competing for minutes with Jerian Grant, Jose Calderon and Spencer Dinwiddie.
Jul 1 - 10:44 AM

The Bulls view re-signing E'Twaun Moore as a priority in free agency.

The Bulls have Jerian Grant, Jose Calderon, Spencer Dinwiddie and not a whole lot else at the point guard position, and Moore is also attractive because he can play both backcourt spots. After enjoying some sustained success in Chicago last season, Moore seems likely to be back in the Windy City.

The Bulls are hoping to re-sign E'Twaun Moore this offseason.

While the Bulls would like to keep Moore in the fold, the 27-year-old is expected to receive plenty of interest as an unrestricted free agent this summer. Moore averaged 10.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 three-pointers in 27.2 minutes per game after the All-Star break and could be worth a late-round flier if he lands in the right situation.

E'Twaun Moore (left hamstring) will miss the remainder of the season.

This was an expectation before it was made official, but now we can close the book on Moore's campaign. With he and Derrick Rose (rest) done for the year, it'll be the Aaron Brooks show at point guard the season's final two games, but expect Jimmy Butler to be the primary playmaker.

E'Twaun Moore (left hamstring) is doubtful for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

He is traveling with the team, but coach Fred Hoiberg already hinted that he likely won't play again this season. Derrick Rose and Aaron Brooks will handle the PG duties moving forward.
Apr 10 - 1:49 PM

E'Twaun Moore (left hamstring) will not play on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers and is likely out for the rest of the season.

The Bulls will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss on Saturday, so Aaron Brooks will likely be the backup PG for the rest of the season. Moore can be dropped everywhere.
Apr 9 - 12:03 PM

E'Twaun Moore (left hamstring) is doubtful to play on Saturday against the Cavs.

He was probable to play back on Tuesday, but he's been out since. With Moore likely out, Aaron Brooks figures to back up Derrick Rose. That's assuming Rose plays.
Apr 8 - 3:42 PM

E'Twaun Moore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Heat.

It'll be Moore's second straight game on the sidelines, which will open up some minutes for Aaron Brooks. Moore belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Apr 7 - 6:37 PM

E'Twaun Moore (hamstring) is doubtful for Thursday's game against Miami.

Bulls head coach Fred Hoibert said he doesn't think Moore will be available Thursday night, so it would be a surprise to see him suit up against Miami. With Moore stuck behind Derrick Rose, he's not worth owning in most fantasy leagues.
Apr 7 - 11:59 AM

E'Twaun Moore (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday and is doubtful to play Thursday vs. the Heat, according to head coach Fred Hoiberg.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky, so it wouldn't be surprising at all to see Moore sit out Thursday's game against the Heat. We should have another update following Thursday morning's shootaround, but with Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy all healthy, Moore is not worth owning in most leagues.
