Julyan Stone will play in Italy with Reyer Venezia next season.
He was working out with the Cavs earlier this week, but he'll look to take on a bigger role overseas. Stone was a favorite of Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri and may end up back in the NBA at some point. Sep 12 - 10:09 AM

The Cavs are scheduled to work out Julyan Stone on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He's worked out for the Lakers a couple times, but the Cavs could sign him to compete with James Jones and Joe Harris at the end of their bench. Stone won't be in a rotation to start the year.

The Lakers will work out unrestricted free agent Julyan Stone for the second time, according to sources.

Stone reportedly also has workouts scheduled with the Cavs, Clippers, and Heat, but with a second workout scheduled with the Lakers, it would appear they certainly have interest in signing the 6'6 guard. Stone was waived by the Raptors in early July, and while he can't shoot, he is a solid defender. However, Stone is nothing more than an end-of-the-bench kind of guy, and owners can safely ignore him in any format.

The Raptors have waived guard Julyan Stone.

The move was expected as the Raptors had until midnight on Monday to waive Stone, or else his $948k salary would have become fully guaranteed. Through three season of NBA action Stone has scored a total of 61 points, clearly he is not a name that is on the fantasy landscape.

The Raptors have until midnight on Monday to waive backup PG Julyan Stone, or else his $948k salary will become fully guaranteed.

Stone's minimum-salary deal isn't unreasonable but Toronto may not need him with Kyle Lowry locked up and restricted FA Greivis Vasquez yet to present the Raptors with an offer sheet. If they do end up waiving him it may be to clear a spot on their active roster for a player more likely to crack the rotation.

Julyan Stone (hip) practiced on Sunday and expects to be healthy for the Raptors' season opener.

That's not to say that he expects to play, as he's fighting for backup PG minutes with Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin.

Julyan Stone is still sore after taking a knee to his surgically-repaired hip.

He played just three minutes on Wednesday night before leaving the game. Stone has been a no-show this month with his 18.4 field goal percentage and missing a wide-open breakaway dunk. He's not in the conversation as a fantasy asset, obviously.

Julyan Stone was invited to participate in the Raptors training camp.

The Raptors are also inviting Chris Wright and another unnamed player to training camp, which gives them 17 players on the roster. The invite to Stone comes after knee and hip injuries canceled an agreed-upon contract with the Raptors earlier in the summer, but GM Masai Ujiri may have brought him over from Denver for a reason. That said, he's highly unlikely to make an impact this season.

The Raptors and Julyan Stone are still in talks to honor their deal from earlier this summer, a league source told RealGM.com.

Stone and the Raptors agreed to a two-year, $1.9 million contract before knee and hip injuries sidetracked the agreement. It's unclear how much room the Raptors have for Stone since they signed Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin after the Stone deal collapsed. The source also told RealGM.com that three other teams have emerged as serious suitors for Stone but declined to name the clubs.

The Raptors are now unlikely to sign Julyan Stone due to knee and hip injuries.

Stone had reportedly agreed to a two-year-, $1.9 million deal with the Raptors, but it sounds like he could have the same fate as Devin Harris. Harris' agree upon deal was cancelled due to toe issues, and now the oft-injured Stone may not be with the Raptors after all.

Julyan Stone agreed to a two-year, $1.9 million deal with the Raptors on Thursday.

He dealt with a knee injury for the vast majority of the season and played a minuscule 28 minutes over the course of the entire regular season with the Nuggets. Stone may have impressed new GM Masai Ujiri and will serve as backcourt depth for Toronto.

Julyan Stone, who had been out with a knee injury, played eight minutes and scored two points in Sunday's Game 4 loss.

He won't have an impact on this series, but does come off the injured list with tonight's appearance.

Nuggets PG Julyan Stone (knee) is expected to miss two weeks.

Stone has a Grade 1 MCL sprain. With Ty Lawson (heel) also hobbled, it leaves the Nuggets very thin at the point. Andre Miller is in line for as much burn as he can handle.

Julyan Stone suffered a right knee hyperextension and will not return to Monday's game.

There's no word on the severity of the injury and a hyperextension doesn't really say much outside of Stone's knee going past 180 degrees. He only plays eight minutes per game and was only in the rotation with Denver dealing with injuries.

Nuggets recall G Julyan Stone and F Quincy Miller from the D-League.

Neither player is likely to carry even minimal fantasy value this season.
