Nuggets PG Julyan Stone (knee) is expected to miss two weeks.

Stone has a Grade 1 MCL sprain. With Ty Lawson (heel) also hobbled, it leaves the Nuggets very thin at the point. Andre Miller is in line for as much burn as he can handle.
Mar 26 - 6:41 PM

Julyan Stone suffered a right knee hyperextension and will not return to Monday's game.

There's no word on the severity of the injury and a hyperextension doesn't really say much outside of Stone's knee going past 180 degrees. He only plays eight minutes per game and was only in the rotation with Denver dealing with injuries.

Nuggets recall G Julyan Stone and F Quincy Miller from the D-League.

Neither player is likely to carry even minimal fantasy value this season.

Feb 13 - 1:27 PM

Nuggets assign G Julyan Stone to the D-League.

Stone is not in Denver's rotation so he needs to get consistent minutes in the D-League.
Jan 30 - 1:31 PM

Julyan Stone (hip surgery) made his season debut on Saturday and had two points, two boards and one assist in five minutes.

He averaged just 1.6 points last season and he entered the game at the 5:26 mark in the fourth quarter, which is all you need to know about his value.
Jan 6 - 2:28 AM

Julyan Stone (hip surgery) practiced on Wednesday and is close to returning to game action.

Stone hasn't played in a game since last season. He averaged 1.6 points in 22 games in 2011-12.
Jan 3 - 2:48 PM

Julyan Stone (hip surgery) is expected to begin practicing in January.

This falls in line with his previous timeline as he was expected to play at some point in January. He will have no fantasy value in even the deepest formats.

Nuggets guard Julyan Stone (hip surgery) isn't expected to play until January.

This conforms with his original timetable, but even once he's healthy he shouldn't disrupt the Nuggets' backcourt rotation.

Nuggets reserve point guard Julyan Stone is recovering from hip surgery and may not be back until January.

With Ty Lawson, Andre Miller and Andre Iguodala around, the Nuggets have plenty of ball distributors. Even when healthy Stone's minutes will be very limited in Denver.

Julyan Stone is projected as Denver's starting small forward on Wednesday.

Stone gets a chance to start with Danilo Gallinari (ankle) out indefinitely, but that's simply because George Karl prefers having Rudy Fernandez come off the bench. Stone is not in line for big minutes despite the starting role, and should remain on waivers in most leagues.

Julyan Stone will start at shooting guard in Monday's game against the Rockets.

Arron Afflalo (ankle) is out, but coach George Karl wants to keep his normal rotation intact. Therefore, Rudy Fernandez and Andre Miller will still come off the bench. We wouldn't expect much more than 12-18 minutes and limited production for Stone, an undrafted rookie out of UTEP.

Nuggets recalled G Julyan Stone from the Idaho Stampede of the D-League.

Denver has seven games in the next 11 days so he's up to strengthen the depth of the bench.

Nuggets optioned G Julyan Stone to the Idaho Stampede of the NBADL.

Stone had yet to make into a game this season for the Nuggets and will have an uphill climb to make it back onto Denver's roster.

Undrafted rookie PG Julyan Stone has made the Nuggets' regular season roster after signing a two-year, $1.1 million deal two weeks ago.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Stone has been "in demand" and the Nuggets beat out the Knicks, Pacers and more teams for his services. Stone is 6'5", plays solid defense and has intriguing offensive potential, but he's not going to have fantasy relevance this year.
