Xavier Silas - G - 76ers

Xavier Silas (face) had successful surgery last week to repair "several sinus fractures."

Silas was injured during a summer league game where he took an elbow from a teammate and also suffered a concussion as well. He had facial surgery to repair the issue and it's not yet known how long he'll be forced to sit on the sidelines. He'll be trying to make the Sixers as the third-string point guard.

Xavier Silas - G - 76ers

Sixers signed G Xavier Silas for the remainder of the regular season.

Silas impressed the Sixers' brass with a strong training camp, but there just wasn't enough room for him on the roster. He'll likely see minutes over the final two games with the team now resting/tanking ahead of the playoffs.
