John Henson played 26 minutes on Monday vs. the 76ers, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting.
The Bucks needed his defense against the one they call The Process, so he reached 26 minutes for the just the second time in over a month. Henson did a respectable job and grabbed five rebounds with four assists and two blocks, but we'll need to see him do this a couple times in a row before recommending an add in standard leagues. Greg Monroe still looks like the center you want to own. Jan 16 - 6:49 PM

John Henson didn't do much of anything during his 15 minutes of playing time on Sunday, scoring two points on 1-of-3 shooting to go with one rebound, two assists, one steal and two turnovers.

Henson didn't even get a single blocked shot, and it's been tough for him to earn meaningful minutes lately with how well Greg Monroe has been playing. Over the past eight games, Henson's playing time has fallen to 19.2 minutes a night and he's been absolutely dreadful with averages of 5.0 points, 3.1 boards and just 0.8 blocks per contest. Henson was only worth owning as a shot blocking specialist, and with him not even doing that, he belongs on the waiver wire just about everywhere.
Jan 8 - 5:41 PM

John Henson played just 14 minutes against the Knicks on Wednesday with two points, two rebounds and three fouls.

Greg Monroe has really performed on the offensive end as a passer and as a scorer. Meanwhile, Henson's defensive edge hasn't really been there with a slew of mistakes to go with his rising foul rate. Maybe Henson snaps out of it, but Monroe's improved play puts a damper on Henson's value.

John Henson played just 14 minutes against the Bulls with one point, three rebounds and four fouls on Saturday.

Uh oh. Henson has really had some tough times under the basket and has looked a little clumsy at times. He may stay in the starting lineup, but his playing time is slipping away. His owners may not want to cling too tightly these days.

John Henson was quiet in 19 minutes vs. Washington on Friday, posting five points on 1-of-4 FGs and 3-of-4 FTs, with three boards, one assist, one steal and zero blocks.

Foul trouble wasn't an issue, but Greg Monroe got hot off the bench and scoring quickly took precedence tonight. Henson has been a great source of blocks with a modicum of boards and solid FG percentage over the past month, without hurting you anywhere. Owners just have to accept the occasional dud.

John Henson played 19 minutes vs. Cleveland on Wednesday, finishing with with four points on 2-of-7 shooting, eight rebounds, two blocks and one assist.

Henson has quietly improved to 70.2 percent from the FT line tonight, compared to his previous career-high of 59.0 percent last season. His field goal percentage has dipped to 51.1 percent, but that's a trade-off the Bucks can live with now that he's shouldering a heavier load as a starter. He's a low-end fantasy center until further notice.

John Henson had 14 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block in 27 minutes of Tuesday's overtime loss to the Cavaliers.

Henson is averaging roughly 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks over his last five games, and while that's not ideal, he's still starting for the Bucks and Greg Monroe didn't do anything tonight. If you're already holding him, you might as well keep hanging on unless there's a clear-cut stud sitting on your waiver wire.

John Henson hit just 2-of-9 shots for four points, 10 rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 26 minutes of Thursday's 108-97 win over the Bulls.

Greg Monroe played 22 minutes off the bench and had a full stat line, so the timeshare is officially on. Henson's value comes from his blocks, and he has 10 of them in his last five games, but the 7.6 points and 5.6 rebounds over that stretch can be a tough pill to swallow. He's worth holding in most instances, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him start showing up on waiver wires after his mediocre last week.

John Henson lasted just 14 minutes on Monday and had just seven points, two rebounds and three blocks in a 122-100 loss to the Raptors.

Henson tends to struggle against bit, true centers, and Jonas Valanciunas certainly qualifies as such. It would have been nice to see how many blocks Henson might have racked up had he been allowed to play his normal 25 minutes tonight, but the good news is that he's not injured. While he hasn't done anything spectacular over his last five games, as long as he's starting for the Bucks, he's probably worth holding onto in fantasy.

John Henson scored 14 points with four rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 25 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday.

Even the biggest worriers about coach Jason Kidd have to have some confidence in the coach playing Henson consistently now. He's played at least 25 minutes for five straight, which seems like this isn't even real life. In that span, he averaged 11.0 points, 5.6 boards, 1.6 assists, 2.0 blocks and 0.6 steals. Keep him rolling.

John Henson played 25 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with seven points, six rebounds and two blocks.

It wasn't the best game from Henson, but he's now played at least 21 minutes in each of his last six. In that span, he averaged 12.3 points, 7.0 boards, 0.5 steals and 2.8 blocks on 53.2 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the line. He should be owned everywhere.
Wed, Dec 7, 2016 11:24:00 PM

John Henson hit just 1-of-3 shots for eight points, five rebounds, a steal and three more blocks in Monday's tough 97-96 loss to the Spurs.

Henson was coming off a 20-point game with a nice line and has been playing much better lately. He's averaging 13.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks over his last five games and is one of the hottest pickups in fantasy hoops right now, for good reason.
Mon, Dec 5, 2016 11:23:00 PM

John Henson scored 20 points in 27 minutes against the Nets on Saturday, adding seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks.

What? Coach Jason Kidd is being consistent with his minutes at the five? Henson has played 25.5 minutes per game in his last four with fantastic averages of 14.8 points, 7.8 boards, 1.5 assists, 3.0 blocks and 0.5 steals. We all know Kidd can change his rotation as often as he changes his shirt, but Henson has to be owned everywhere now.

John Henson played 25 minutes against the Nets on Thursday with 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist and five blocks.

Believe it or not, we may actually have a consistent role for Henson. He's played at least 21 minutes in each of his last three games, averaging 13.0 points, 8.0 boards, 1.3 assists and 3.3 blocks. This does come with a grain of salt because the matchups have helped Henson, but his block rate is just too good to leave on the wire in any standard-style league.
Thu, Dec 1, 2016 10:06:00 PM

John Henson made his second straight start on Tuesday vs. the Cavaliers and played well, scoring seven points on 3-of-7 shooting with nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 21 minutes.

Greg Monroe logged 26 minutes off the bench and it looks like he and Henson will be splitting the center minutes on most nights -- Miles Plumlee played just a couple minutes. Coach Jason Kidd can be unpredictable with his rotations, but Henson is coming off a 20-point effort with seven boards, three blocks, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes against the Magic on Sunday, so feel free to grab him off the wire if you need blocks and boards.
