Perry Jones (bruised knee) still doesn't have a return timetable, according to coach Scott Brooks.
"He hasn’t participated in any parts of practice," Brooks said. "He’s just with our medical staff. Just a normal rehab process for his knee. That’s the only thing I know of right now." Jones has been out three weeks since banging his right knee, and by the time he returns Kevin Durant (foot) should be fully healthy and dominating minutes at SF. If you've been clinging to Jones in a deep league, it's probably time to cut him loose. Nov 25 - 8:01 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will not play against the Nets on Friday.

The team doesn't know when he will return to the lineup. Jones should be considered questionable to return to action in the next week or so.
Nov 21 - 7:51 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will not play in Sunday's game, and has yet to return to practice.

He can't seem to turn the corner and it's a terrible shame considering how good he was early in the season. Jones can be ignored in standard leagues with Kevin Durant (foot) on the way back soon and Lance Thomas and Anthony Morrow will continue to fill the void at SF for the depleted Thunder. Thomas is by no means a consideration in almost any league while Morrow makes for an interesting plug-and-play for his 3-point shooting.
Nov 16 - 9:43 AM

Perry Jones (knee) and Andre Roberson (foot) both missed practice on Saturday and are not going to play against the Rockets on Sunday.

Jones' knee contusion just won't get any better and he still doesn't have a timetable to return. Considering guys like George Hill (knee) have missed significant time with their knee contusions, it's certainly possible we don't see PJ3 on the court this week. Jeremy Lamb and Anthony Morrow should be in most starting lineups for Sunday.
Nov 15 - 2:19 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

Lance Thomas will likely draw the start again, but he really hasn't done much with his opportunity, averaging just 6.6 points and 5.8 rebounds with the starting unit. It's also possible that Anthony Morrow challenges Thomas for the starting small forward spot, but that would essentially give the Thunder zero energy off the bench. For now, Thomas looks like the starter, but Morrow is the guy to own here after dropping 28 points in his last outing.
Nov 14 - 1:39 PM

Perry Jones (knee) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against Boston.

Jones has yet to practice since sustaining his injury and his window for fantasy relevancy is quickly closing with the impending return of the one they call Kevin Durant (foot). Lance Thomas will draw the start Wednesday but is way too unreliable to matter in almost all leagues.
Nov 12 - 12:55 PM

Perry Jones (knee) is out for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, and Lance Thomas will draw the start in his absence.

This news comes as no surprise as he has yet to practice since he sustained his injury. There is no longer any reason to hold onto him in standard leagues with the impending return of Kevin Durant (foot), so owners can feel free to look elsewhere. Lance Thomas will again get all the minutes he can handle but is too inconsistent to be an option in most leagues.
Nov 11 - 8:19 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will not play Sunday vs. the Kings, and Lance Thomas will start in his place.

Jones has not practiced since sustained his injury on Tuesday, and given the fact that he will have essentially no value once Kevin Durant (foot) returns, there's not much reason to hang onto him. Lance Thomas has been pretty unproductive with the starting unit, and is averaging just 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds, so owners in standard leagues can leave him on the waiver wire.
Nov 9 - 5:32 PM

Perry Jones (knee) and Andre Roberson (foot) missed practice on Saturday.

Chances are both guys are going to miss Sunday against the Kings. Jones has a knee contusion and hasn't seen the practice court since sustaining his injury on Tuesday. He isn't on crutches and it's not considered serious, but his fantasy owners can probably consider making a move since his fantasy value has an expiration date when Kevin Durant (foot) can play. Lance Thomas will have some short-term value in deep leagues.
Nov 8 - 2:13 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will not play against the Grizzlies on Friday.

He was never really expected to play due to his knee contusion. Jones could be back soon, but he could be out a while considering guys like George Hill (knee) have missed so much time with a similar injury. Lance Thomas will likely start tonight.
Nov 7 - 6:31 PM

Perry Jones (knee) did not practice on Thursday.

The Thunder has not announced the extent of the injury, but Jones was expected to be reevaluated on Wednesday. It's not a surprise he's still out of practice, but owners will have to hold tight until we know the timetable Jones is facing. Lance Thomas will continue to play more minutes while Jones is out, and Jeremy Lamb (back) returned to practice on Thursday, so he's staring at an increased role upon his return as well.
Nov 6 - 2:12 PM

Perry Jones (knee) is still undergoing evaluations on Wednesday.

OKC is off until Friday when they'll host Memphis, so we probably won't know much until tomorrow. He did leave the arena without the use of crutches, so his injury isn't likely to be severe. There's still a good chance he misses time, so expect Lance Thomas to benefit the most. Jeremy Lamb (back) is also worth watching, but he doesn't have a timetable to return and might actually be out longer than Jones.
Nov 5 - 5:07 PM

Perry Jones (bruised knee) left the game on Tuesday after knocking knees with Patrick Pattereson, and he will not return.

This is devastating news, as this means the Thunder are now down to just seven healthy players. He looked to be in considerable pain, but the good news is that OKC is simply calling it a knee contusion. Expect Lance Thomas to get all the minutes that he can handle.
Nov 4 - 9:10 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will be in the starting lineup on Tuesday.

Jones banged his knee on Monday but the injury shouldn't limit him going forward. He'll once again be a focal point of the Thunder offense, as they have only eight healthy bodies to compete with the Raptors tonight.
Nov 4 - 7:17 PM

Perry Jones banged knees with Jarrett Jack in the third quarter and stayed in the game during a 116-85 loss on Monday, finishing with 16 points, four rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

He did look a bit hobbled and hopefully he'll be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Raptors. Jones is going to get all the minutes he can handle and he should be in all lineups until Kevin Durant (foot) gets back.
