Perry Jones made another start for Kevin Durant (toe) on Wednesday and missed all five of his shots and failed to score in an ugly loss at New York.
The Thunder are just trying to claw their way into the playoffs and the latest injury to Durant is not helping, and neither is Jones. He's done nothing in his last two starts for KD and should be ignored going forward. Jan 29 - 12:48 AM

Perry Jones started for Kevin Durant (toe) on Monday against the Wolves, scoring six points on 2-of-6 shooting with three rebounds and two blocks in 24 minutes.

Jones may have a future in fantasy leagues at some point, but for now he's waiver wire fodder.
Jan 26 - 11:43 PM

Perry Jones will start for Kevin Durant on Monday.

He has been out of the rotation, but he'll slide into the starting unit tonight. While Jones did have a few big games earlier this year, that came with Russell Westbrook out of the lineup. He's still a very risky play tonight.
Jan 26 - 7:28 PM

Perry Jones will likely head back to the bench with coach Scott Brooks confirming that Kevin Durant (ankle) will return on Wednesday.

Jones wasn't holding value even when Durant was sidelined, so Jones can be cut across the board. We will let you know if he works his way back onto the fantasy radar in deeper leagues.

Perry Jones scored 14 points over 31 minutes of action during the Thunder's Christmas Day win over the Spurs.

Jones shot 5-of-7 from the field (two 3-pointers) but only managed to pull down one rebound while adding doughnuts to all the other statistical categories. His minutes have been up while Kevin Durant (ankle) has been sidelined, but he really hasn't done much with the increased opportunity. The waiver wire seems like a suitable place for PJ3.

Perry Jones started at SF with Kevin Durant (ankle) out on Tuesday, but he went scoreless with three rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes vs. the Trail Blazers.

Jones, who scored 12 points on Sunday, missed all five of his shots and remains too inconsistent for fantasy use even when Durant is unavailable. With KD day-to-day, Jones belongs on the waiver wire in all formats.

Coach Scott Brooks said he needs more out of Perry Jones.

After a nightmare performance without any stats against the Lakers on Friday, Jones had 12 points and four rebounds on Sunday. He should continue to start while Kevin Durant (ankle) is on the mend, which shouldn't be much longer. Leave him on the wire.

Perry Jones scored 12 points in the starting lineup on Sunday, adding four boards, one block and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes.

Kevin Durant (ankle) should return any day now, but Jones will be worth a look in deeper leagues if KD continues to miss time. Owners in standard leagues can probably do much better.

Perry Jones will start at SF for the Thunder on Sunday with Kevin Durant (ankle) unavailable.

A start for Jones doesn't necessarily mean that he'll have fantasy value, as he finished Friday's win vs. the Lakers scoreless without any stats to his credit in 12 minutes of action. When asked whether he needs more production from Jones as a starter, coach Scott Brooks replied, "Yeah ... yeah."
Sun, Dec 21, 2014 05:38:00 PM

Perry Jones is likely going to start against the Lakers on Friday.

He looked great before his knee contusion last month, but the return of Russell Westbrook took the gem out of his donut for stats. Jones might have a decent game against an awful defense, so he's worth a look in deeper leagues. It's worth mentioning he did only play six minutes in the second half on Thursday.
Fri, Dec 19, 2014 05:36:00 PM

Perry Jones played 19 minutes off the bench on Thursday with four points and five rebounds.

He picked up some extra playing time with Kevin Durant (ankle) going down tonight. Jones had a couple bright spots while the Thunder were banged up, but there is still no need to pick him up in most cases because KD should be back quickly.
Fri, Dec 19, 2014 01:50:00 AM

Perry Jones played six minutes in his return to the lineup on Friday with one steal and one miss from the field.

He didn't provide any other stats and the Thunder aren't going to need him now that the calvary is back. Jones is unlikely to be a fantasy factor while Kevin Durant is active.
Fri, Dec 5, 2014 11:19:00 PM

Perry Jones (knee) will be active against the 76ers on Friday.

He suffered his knee contusion way back on Nov. 4 and has been back on the practice court for 5-on-5 since Wednesday. Jones will likely only play minutes in the teens tonight with Kevin Durant back in action, so he's not a great fantasy play.
Fri, Dec 5, 2014 05:39:00 PM

Perry Jones (knee) went through practice on Wednesday.

He was doing 5-on-5 drills and he appears to be close to a return from his knee contusion. However, Kevin Durant is back, so there is very little appeal for Jones in fantasy leagues. It's worth mentioning KD and Russell Westbrook had a combined usage of 76.0 on Tuesday. There is not going to be much to go around beyond KD, Westbrook, Reggie Jackson and Serge Ibaka.
Wed, Dec 3, 2014 03:20:00 PM

Perry Jones (knee) participated during some of the Thunder's practice on Monday, and went through parts of Tuesday's shootaround, but he remains out for Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

While these are positive signs that Jones is indeed nearing a return, with Kevin Durant (foot) ready to make his regular-season debut tonight, Jones has close to zero fantasy value. He'll play limited minutes backing up Durant, and he won't be worth owning in standard leagues.
