Jeremy Lamb will not play on Sunday due to a bruised left heel.
The injury sounds minor but it's enough to keep OKC's third-year guard sidelined for an exhibition game. He averaged a whopping 36 minutes in OKC's first four preseason games, chipping in 18.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals, but he also shot just 32.9 percent shooting. He's in line for a bigger role while Kevin Durant (foot) is sidelined, but owners should prepare for the inevitable drop-off. Oct 19 - 5:28 PM

Jeremy Lamb's struggles continued on Friday, as he hit just 1-of-9 shots for six points in 18 minutes off the bench.

Lamb had a couple calls go against him and everything that could go wrong went wrong for him all night. He's never appeared to have Scott Brooks' full support and guys like Anthony Morrow and Andre Roberson will be Brooks' security blanket while Kevin Durant is out. But Lamb is undeniably the most talented playmaker of this group on the offensive end, and given the fact that the Thunder will be desperate to find offense he should remain on fantasy radars and/or considered as a flier pick.
Oct 18 - 1:05 AM

Jeremy Lamb wasn't shy again on Thursday, making just eight of his 22 shots from the field for 20 points with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

He was 8-of-19 from the field on Tuesday and the Thunder are clearly allowing him to get shots. Lamb was squandered every opportunity thrown his way, so it's hard to be too bullish on him.
Oct 16 - 10:34 PM

Jeremy Lamb hit 8-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and a block in Tuesday's win.

He could eventually start at shooting guard (over Andre Roberson) or small forward (filling in for Kevin Durant), but more than likely will come off the bench to start the season. He looked very good tonight and is worth keeping an eye on as the Thunder sort out their rotation with Durant out for a couple months with a broken foot.
Oct 15 - 1:09 AM

Jeremy Lamb bounced back on Friday against the Mavericks with 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

He started off slow, but really turned it on late. Lamb has lost a lot of ground since his fantastic 2013 summer league and will really need to keep it going in the preseason to earn a regular role. He's not worth drafting in most formats.
Oct 11 - 12:08 AM

Jeremy Lamb logged 37 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss, scoring 11 points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.

Lamb's generic line was made more interesting by his shooting numbers: 1-of-14 FGs and 9-of-10 FTs. His 0-of-6 mark from downtown is actually encouraging, as he obviously has the green light after averaging 1.1 three-pointers on 35.6 shooting from downtown last year, but he's not on the fantasy radar in standard leagues.
Oct 9 - 12:25 AM

Jeremy Lamb made 4-of-17 from the field for 12 points with three boards, two assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 28 minutes vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.

He's having an up-and-down showing in Orlando, but the Thunder continue to give him shots from the field. Lamb could be competing for minutes with guys like Andre Roberson now that Thabo Sefolosha is headed to Atlanta. Roberson played well today, scoring nine points with 10 boards, two assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer. Neither are worth drafting in most leagues.
Jul 9 - 6:02 PM

Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points vs. the Grizzlies during Saturday's 63-84 loss, adding five boards, two assists, two blocks, one 3-pointer and four turnovers.

Last summer, he and Reggie Jackson were dynamite to help OKC take home the Orlando crown, but he'll have to carry a bigger load this season. Lamb was a letdown after a solid offseason, so he'll need to show up in the regular season before he's worth a look in fantasy leagues.
Jul 5 - 7:19 PM

Jeremy Lamb said he will be back at summer league in July.

He also said he didn't care much about defense at first, which explains some of his deficiencies this past season. Lamb was a high-volume guy at Orlando Summer League last season, taking a 16.0 shots per game for 18.8 points.
Jun 2 - 12:22 PM

Coach Scott Brooks confirmed that Jeremy Lamb has essentially fallen out of his rotation.

Even when Thabo Sefolosha injured, Lamb is only playing in garbage time. He's behind Caron Butler, Andre Roberson and Perry Jones. It's a shame for such a talented player, but Lamb has always been weak on defense and his shot has been ice cold of late. "We have a lot of good players. Sacrifices have to be made all throughout the team," Brooks said.

Mar 14 - 9:32 AM

Jeremy Lamb played seven minutes vs. the Lakers on Thursday with two points, two boards and three assists.

He played just three minutes on Tuesday night and has really fallen apart lately. Over his previous 10 games, Lamb shot just 27.1 percent from the field for just 4.8 points per game. The second-year wing also sometimes forgets he has Kevin Durant on his team, which may be the reason why he’s not getting some of Thabo Sefolosha’s minutes.
Mar 14 - 12:39 AM

Jeremy Lamb played 31 minutes and hit 8-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in Tuesday's close win over the Blazers.

Thabo Sefolosha suffered a right hand injury, but played through it. If he were to miss time, Lamb would become a hot pickup, but for now, we're guessing this is a one-and-done situation for Lamb.
Feb 12 - 1:11 AM

Jeremy Lamb played 22 minutes and had six points, one rebound and one assist on 3-of-7 shooting.

Lamb has made some noise lately, but as long as he's coming off the bench he's going to be subject to nights like this one more often than we would care to see.
Feb 1 - 9:56 PM

Jeremy Lamb came off the bench to hit 7-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers on his way to 18 points, five rebounds and four assists.

He came in early with the Thunder down big and immediately started draining triples, along with teammate Derek Fisher. Lamb has actually scored in double digits in three of his last five games, averaging 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.8 3-pointers over that stretch. And if he can keep playing like that, he's going to start getting scooped up off waiver wires in deeper leagues. Having said that, it wouldn't be surprising to see him disappear in his next game, either.
Jan 29 - 10:16 PM

Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points in 18 minutes during Monday's thrilling 111-109 victory over the Hawks, adding two boards, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers.

He's been up and down all year and this was one of his best games of the season. Lamb is showing signs of improvement, but it's hard to pick him up in most leagues with Russell Westbrook likely to return next month.
