Jeremy Lamb is looking to show more consistency in 2016-17.
Lamb faded after a strong start to 2015-16 and is focused on sustaining consistency in 2016-17. "When you change your mindset, it doesn’t happen overnight. I’ve been working on it all summer. In training camp, you’ve got to build on that," Lamb said. "If you’re missing shots, you’ve got to keep shooting. If you don’t get a stop, believe you’ll get a stop next time. Help your teammates. Do all the little things that keep you positive." Lamb has potential, but he he isn't worth much more than a late-round flier in standard fantasy leagues until he can show some consistency in his production. Sep 29 - 9:03 AM

Coach Steve Clifford said Jeremy Lamb hasn't played much due to readiness issues.

Sounds like his OKC days. This is troubling news for Lamb to add minutes with Nicolas Batum (ankle) out. This is slightly encouraging for Jeremy Lin and Frank Kaminsky tonight.
Apr 23 - 3:59 PM

Jeremy Lamb didn't play until garbage time vs. the Heat on Sunday, finishing with four points and three rebounds in four minutes.

Lamb scored 12 points with nine boards and three blocks in 30 minutes during Charlotte's regular-season finale, but he fell out of the rotation with Nic Batum (ankle) back in action. Steve Clifford might tweak his strategy in light of his team's drubbing in Game 1, but Lamb is unlikely to be a significant factor in the playoffs.
Apr 17 - 8:22 PM

Jeremy Lamb had a strong all-around game on Wednesday with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks in a team-high 30 minutes off the bench.

Lamb sat out Monday's game, presumably due to his recent toe injury, but he bounced back with his best performance in recent memory tonight. More minutes were available with Nic Batum (ankle) out and Charlotte leading big the whole game, so we're unlikely to see a repeat performance from Lamb in the playoffs.
Apr 13 - 11:26 PM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) returned from a one-game absence on Sunday, scoring three points in three minutes.

At this juncture in the season, Lamb is 100 percent irrelevant in fantasy hoops.
Apr 10 - 5:48 PM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) is available for Sunday's game vs. the Wizards.

Lamb is returning from a one-game absence, but he hasn't scored in double digits in six straight appearances and most fantasy owners will want to ignore him.
Apr 10 - 11:23 AM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) is a game-time call vs. the Wizards on Sunday.

A decision on his status will be made right after he warms up. Lamb is averaging just 4.0 points during the month of April, so he doesn't belong in most lineups anyways. Expect Troy Daniels to get some extra minutes if Lamb sits this one out.
Apr 10 - 10:39 AM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) questionable against the Wizards on Sunday.

He did not play on Friday, which allowed Troy Daniels to go off for 17 points, Daniels won't be that good again, but he would be in the rotation sans Lamb.
Apr 9 - 4:46 PM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) is out for Friday against the Nets.

He was on the injury report back in February with a toe injury, so this might be an aggravation. There will be a couple extra minutes going to Jeremy Lin as a backup wing.
Apr 8 - 5:48 PM

Jeremy Lamb had 15 points and six rebounds in just 15 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.

He also hit a couple 3-pointers, but the low minutes combined with the fact he hadn't scored in double digits in his previous four games means Lamb should probably still be on waivers in most leagues.
Mar 1 - 10:11 PM

Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points off the bench on Friday vs. the Bucks with two boards, two assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

Lamb struggled with a toe issue before the break, but he looked great tonight and this was his second straight game with double-digit points. Lamb will possibly lose some playing time when Courtney Lee is cleared to play next game, so he's still only on the radar in deeper leagues.
Feb 20 - 1:24 AM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) returned to action on Wednesday with seven points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal, while making 3-of-10 field goals.

He played 17 minutes after missing nine of the Hornets' past 10 games, but conditioning wasn't the cause of his low playing time -- with Nicolas Batum (toe) back in action, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (shoulder) playing well, Lamb's minutes will be threatened all season.
Feb 3 - 10:14 PM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) is available to play for Wednesday's game vs. Cleveland.

Lamb spent the better part of January on the sidelines, so he'll more than likely be eased back into the rotation in Charlotte. He had a hot-start to the year, but his play gradually fell off and it could prove to be difficult for him to earn much more than 20 minutes a game with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist now back on the court. Owners in most leagues can use a wait-and-see approach here.
Feb 3 - 11:18 AM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Cleveland.

Lamb is in danger of missing a sixth straight game if he can't go on Wednesday, but he could have an opportunity for extra minutes if he's able to play. Nicolas Batum (toe) is doubtful and Kemba Walker (knee) is questionable, so Lamb could be in line for solid minutes if the Hornets are short-handed on Wednesday.
Feb 2 - 1:27 PM

Jeremy Lamb (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.

This will be Lamb's fifth consecutive game on the shelf. The Hornets are also missing Nicolas Batum (toe), so Jeremy Lin (ankle), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, P.J. Hairston and Troy Daniels will have to fill in the void. Lamb is only worth stashing in very deep leagues.
