Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points with five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 21 minutes against the Mavericks on Monday.
He finished 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line. Lamb has had a few big games since returning in late November, but he's also had some pretty awful duds as well. He's averaging 11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 triples over his last five games, but he only saw 17.6 minutes per game in that span. Dec 6 - 12:30 AM

Date:

Jeremy Lamb scored six points with five rebounds and two 3-pointers in 12 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

He had a nice run while the Hornets were banged up, but coach Steve Clifford doesn't trust him as much as his other wings. Lamb is only worth a look in deep leagues.
Dec 3 - 10:01 PM

Jeremy Lamb (knee) scored 12 points with six rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday.

He's been solid on the glass and was back down to his projected playing time. Lamb had one of the best two-game runs prior to his knee contusion on Tuesday and we're not expecting him to do much while Nicolas Batum is healthy. Lamb is only worth owning in deep leagues.
Dec 1 - 10:28 PM

Jeremy Lamb (knee) is available to play against the Mavericks on Thursday night.

He only had a knee contusion from Tuesday's outing. Lamb has suddenly turned it on with two monster games prior to his injury, averaging 19.5 points, 13.0 boards and 1.0 dimes. Despite those big games, he's likely looking at minutes in the low 20s tonight and isn't the strongest fantasy play.
Dec 1 - 5:22 PM

Jeremy Lamb (right knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks.

Lamb left Tuesday's game with a contusion on his right knee and looks to be headed for a game-time decision on Thursday. We'll keep an eye on his status, but Lamb shouldn't be owned in standard fantasy leagues.

Dec 1 - 12:56 PM

Jeremy Lamb suffered a right knee contusion on Tuesday and didn't return to the game.

He played 13 minutes for four points on 1-of-5 shooting and was coming off a couple monster games while Nicolas Batum was dealing with an eye injury. Lamb was on his way down already, and this injury makes him a nearly must-drop candidate in all but the deepest of leagues, despite the fact that he's simply day-to-day.
Nov 29 - 9:42 PM

Jeremy Lamb has been diagnosed with a right knee contusion and is questionable to return Tuesday vs. the Pistons.

The Hornets were trailing by double digits in the fourth quarter when this was announced, so Lamb's night is likely done. If we learn that Lamb will miss additional time, Marco Belinelli will get a bump in minutes off the bench.
Nov 29 - 9:04 PM

Jeremy Lamb left Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons and went back to the locker room.

He was holding his right leg/knee after a drive to the rim. Lamb wasn't playing well tonight and there are 10 minutes left in regulation, so his night could be over. We'll have an update shortly.
Nov 29 - 8:54 PM

Jeremy Lamb stayed hot on Monday in a 104-85 win over the Grizzlies, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in just 23 minutes.

The points were a season-high and he shot an efficient 7-of-11 from the field. He's coming off a dominant 18-point, 17-rebound performance on Saturday with two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes, but his minutes dipped tonight with Nicolas Batum (eye) back in action. Lamb has likely earned a nice role off the bench moving forward and is now worth a look if you have some dead weight on your roster.
Nov 28 - 11:27 PM

Jeremy Lamb grabbed a career-high 17 boards in his first start of the season against the Knicks on Saturday, adding 18 points, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Coach Steve Clifford said on Friday he wanted to be patient with Lamb and even gave him a DNP-CD yesterday, but here we are. Lamb also missed some of the second half because he was cramping, which isn't too surprising after logging a grand total of just six minutes all month. Nicolas Batum (eye) should be back soon, so there's no need to grab Lamb in most leagues.
Nov 26 - 10:51 PM

Jeremy Lamb will start at shooting guard for Nicolas Batum (eye) against the Knicks on Saturday.

Considering the Hornets want to be patient with Lamb, his minutes figure to only be around 20. Marco Belinelli should be the lion's share of the shooting guard minutes and appears to be the better option tonight. Lamb can stay on the wire in most leagues.
Nov 26 - 6:30 PM

If Nicolas Batum (eye) can't play against the Knicks on Saturday, Jeremy Lamb would get the start.

Yesterday, coach Steve Clifford said he wants to take it easy on Lamb and gave him a DNP-CD. That should suggest Lamb won't play much more than 20 minutes tonight. Marco Belinelli is going to be very important on the bench and is worth a look for any owner needing 3-pointers.
Nov 26 - 5:30 PM

Jeremy Lamb was a DNP-CD on Friday.

Coach Steve Clifford said he wants to be patient with Lamb, so that may explain it. Plus, Marco Belinelli is rolling.
Nov 25 - 11:43 PM

Jeremy Lamb (hamstring) played six minutes vs. the Spurs on Wednesday, contributing two points and three rebounds.

Lamb hadn't played since Oct. 29 and his return is great for the Hornets' team depth, but he's a dubious source of fantasy value in standard leagues. Leave him on the waiver wire as long as Nicolas Batum, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marco Belinelli are all healthy.
Nov 23 - 10:28 PM

Jeremy Lamb (hamstring) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the Spurs.

He'll be available, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll step foot on the court. Lamb is not worth owning in most leagues.
