Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Saturday against the Nets.
The updates have been pretty sparse on Lamb, so he's likely looking at a few more games out. With him out, it'll be Marco Belinelli and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist getting more solidified roles. Jan 21 - 6:38 PM

Jeremy Lamb (inflamed metatarsal) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

This will be the fourth straight game Lamb has missed due to the foot injury. We have yet to receive a formal indication from the team regarding when Lamb is expected to return to the lineup. Marco Belinelli played well of the Hornets bench on Wednesday, scoring 13 points (on 5-of-8 shooting) and grabbing five boards in 24 minutes.

Jeremy Lamb (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Portland.

Wednesday will mark Lamb's third straight game on the sidelines, and it's currently unclear exactly when he'll be able to get back to the court. Lamb typically isn't a major part of the rotation while the team is at full strength, so there aren't any major fantasy implications here. Marco Belinelli will have the opportunity for some extended minutes, but that's about it.

Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Monday vs. Boston.

This will be his second game in a row on the shelf. The Hornets are ruling him out a full 24 hours before tip-off, an indication that he could miss additional time. Luckily for the Hornets, Nicolas Batum looked healthy in 32 minutes of action on Friday. Marco Belinelli could pick up a few extra minutes with Lamb out.

Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Friday against the 76ers

The team is calling it metatarsal inflammation. Lamb hasn't had any noteworthy foot issues since 2014, so this is likely a new issue for him. With him out, Marco Belinelli will be the primary wing backup and should get minutes in the mid 20s. He's worth a look if you need a short-term scoring boost.
Jan 12 - 4:50 PM

Jeremy Lamb started again for Nicolas Batum (knee) on Tuesday and had 11 points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

He hit just 4-of-12 shots, but is worth a long look with Batum iffy going forward. Lamb is averaging 12 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his two recent starts, but has hit just 8-of-24 shots in them. He's more of a player to target in DFS, assuming that Batum will be back sooner than later.
Jan 10 - 10:54 PM

Jeremy Lamb hit 4-of-12 shots for 13 points with eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 28 minutes on Saturday against the Spurs.

Lamb drew the spot start for the injured Nicolas Batum (knee) and that should continue with Batum set to miss time due to a bone bruise. The 28 minutes tied the second most he has played in a game this season. In every game that Lamb has played at least 20 minutes in this year, he has scored in double-figures. Lamb can be considered a value DFS play so long as his price stays low and has some short-term value in standard leagues.
Jan 8 - 12:54 AM

With Nicolas Batum (knee) ruled out, Jeremy Lamb will start for the Hornets on Saturday vs. the Spurs.

Lamb has started only one other game this season and actually played very well in that contest, scoring 18 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in a win over the Knicks back on Nov. 26. It would unwise to assume Lamb will post anything close to those numbers on Saturday, but he does qualify a somewhat intriguing DFS play due to the increase in minutes he'll likely see. Marco Belinelli should also see an uptick in minutes on Saturday.
Jan 7 - 1:14 PM

Jeremy Lamb scored two points with one rebound and one steal in 13 minutes on Thursday against the Pistons.

Lamb shot a miserable 1-of-7 from the field. With Marco Benlinelli (ankle) back, Lamb has seen his role decrease, but if Nicolas Batum (knee) misses any time, Lamb could see a boost in minutes.
Jan 6 - 1:10 AM

Jeremy Lamb's role shrank on Wednesday with Marco Belinelli active, as he posted nine points, three assists, one steal and one block in only 12 minutes off the bench.

Lamb averaged 23.6 minutes in the five games Belinelli missed, but tonight's dip was predictable. Owners in typical leagues should promptly return him to the waiver wire.
Jan 4 - 9:58 PM

Jeremy Lamb came off the bench to hit 4-of-7 shots, a 3-pointer and 6-of-7 free throws for 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in Monday's loss to the Bulls.

Lamb has quietly been playing very well with Marco Belinelli dealing with an ankle injury and has averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and a 3-pointer on 50 percent shooting in 24 minutes over his last five games. As long as Belinelli is out, Lamb is worth a look in all formats, and is a particularly cheap punt play in DFS.
Jan 3 - 12:03 AM

Jeremy Lamb scored 10 points with eight rebounds and one block in 23 minutes against the Heat on Thursday.

The Hornets haven't really missed Marco Belinelli (ankle) off the bench with Lamb's performance lately. Still, Belinelli is only day-to-day and would likely take most of his minutes back once he's healthy. If he is out again, Lamb could be an option on Saturday.

Jeremy Lamb scored 14 points in 28 minutes against the Magic on Wednesday.

Marco Belinelli (ankle) was out again and the game was basically over by the end of the third quarter, so Lamb got some extra run in garbage time. He did miss a wide-open dunk, but finished 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line with four rebounds and a triple. Coach Steve Clifford loves him some Belinelli which may complicate Lamb's outlook moving forward, but he's worth deploying in the short term until Belinelli returns.

Jeremy Lamb scored 17 points in 22 minutes against the Nets on Monday.

With Marco Belinelli (ankle) ruled out, Lamb saw a few extra minutes but not as many as his fantasy owners were hoping for. He shot 7-of-14 from the field and 2-of-4 from deep with four rebounds, one assist, and one block with zero turnovers, but hopefully he will have a larger role on Wednesday vs. the Magic. Assuming Belinelli misses more time, Lamb looks like a nice short-term pickup.
Mon, Dec 26, 2016 11:03:00 PM

Jeremy Lamb played 17 minutes with seven points, three rebounds and no turnovers in 17 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

With Marco Belinelli (ankle) going down tonight, Lamb would likely be the next man up as the backup wing. Coach Steve Clifford has benched Michael Kidd-Gilchrist late in games, but it was more about Marco being hot. Lamb is only an add in deep leagues.
