Doron Lamb scored a career-high 16 points vs. his former team on Wednesday, adding four boards, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes during a 113-103 overtime win over Milwaukee.
He played just seven minutes on Sunday and the Magic might have had some extra motivation to play him against his former team. Lamb hasn't exactly been a star rookie this year, making just 34.6 percent from the field and 59.3 percent from the line. He might have a chance to earn more playing time, but we'd probably need to see it again to pick him up in anything but a really deep league. Apr 10 - 11:11 PM

Doron Lamb made his debut for the Magic on Saturday, going scoreless in 10 minutes off the bench.

Lamb battled a few injuries, played in the D-League, and was used sparingly during his brief time with the Bucks this season. He should have a fresh start with the youth-oriented Magic, though it's doubtful that will translate into fantasy relevance.

Lamb was one of three players Milwaukee shipped to Orlando in exchange for J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith. Lamb was a second-round pick last June and has spent much of the year in the D-League. His fantasy value is minimal.

The Magic were looking to stockpile some young talent in the J.J. Redick deal. Lamb has spent much of the year in the D-League since getting taken in the second round of June's draft.

Lamb averaged 7.6 points on 29.5 percent shooting in five games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, just one more reason to avoid him in fantasy leagues.

Doron Lamb will not play against the Sixers on Tuesday due to a sprained ankle.

He was just called up to the Bucks on Sunday and the ankle injury isn't expected to keep him out for long. Lamb averaged 12.2 minutes in 23 games this season and has no fantasy value.

Doron Lamb (illness) returned to action on Friday, playing 14 minutes with five missed field goals and one point to his stat line.

Lamb is the only healthy backup guard, so if anything happens to Brandon Jennings or Monta Ellis he could be thrust into action. Other than that, he has no fantasy value.

He didn't travel with the team on Thursday, but he is expected to rejoin the team in time for Friday night's game. He has found some playing time with Beno Udrih (ankle) out, but he played just 16 minutes per game over his last five contests and scored only 4.0 points.

Rookie Doron Lamb played 24 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss and scored a career-high eight points for the second straight game, while also hitting a couple 3-pointers.

The Bucks starters were on the bench with the game out of hand so Lamb got some run. We'd be mildly excited about him in deeper leagues if he didn't play for Scott Skiles, but he'll simply be too inconsistent to be worth a look anytime soon.

Doron Lamb could be a member of the Bucks rotation when the season begins.

"That's not impossible at all," said Scott Skiles when asked about the possibility. Even if Lamb does get into the rotation, we don't expect his role to be significant enough where he'd warrant fantasy consideration outside of extremely deep formats.

Doron Lamb had 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting in his preseason debut.

Lamb looked good in his first action since he tore a ligament in his elbow at the beginning of training camp, but he's not going to come into fantasy value in standard formats right now with a crowded rotation. The rookie also needs to tighten up his defense and could struggle to defend bigger shooting guards.

Doron Lamb (elbow) is expected to make his preseason debut on Thursday.

Lamb practiced for the first time with his teammates on Tuesday and "looked good," and now he'll get in some preseason action before the real thing begins. After tearing a ligament in his elbow less than four weeks ago, it will be interesting to see how the rookie looks.
