Tyler Zeller (hip) returned to the starting lineup on Monday against the Knicks, finishing with five points over 12 minutes.
Zeller's playing time was a bit limited, but he was able to go for three rebounds on 2-of-4 shooting and help out with a 3-pointer. His return sent Quincy Acy back to the bench, although the latter was more effective even as a reserve. The team has a logjam of centers, as Acy, Zeller, Jarrett Allen and Jahlil Okafor are all fighting for minutes, so it isn't an ideal situation for fantasy owners at the moment. Jan 15 - 6:50 PM

Tyler Zeller (hip) will start against the Knicks on Monday, sending Quincy Acy back to the bench.

He missed Saturday's game with his hip issue, but he should be ready for his normal allotment of minutes tonight. The Nets are trying to find minutes for three other centers in Jarrett Allen, Jahlil Okafor and Quincy Acy, so this isn't ideal for fantasy owners.

Tyler Zeller (hip) is being listed as probable for Monday's matchup with the Knicks.

Zeller missed Saturday's game with the hip issue, but it looks like it'll just be a one-game absence. His return should shift Quincy Acy back to the second unit, and Jarrett Allen's minutes could take a hit.
Jan 14 - 4:25 PM

Tyler Zeller (hip) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. Washington.

This is a new injury for Zeller, who scored four points in 13 minutes off the Brooklyn bench on Friday night. The Nets have plenty of depth at center, alternating four bigs on a nightly basis. This should open up a few extra minutes for Jarrett Allen and Jahlil Okafor. Okafor scored a season-high 17 points in just 12 minutes vs. the Hawks on Friday.
Jan 13 - 12:49 PM

Tyler Zeller shot just 1-of-6 from the field for three points in 15 minutes on Sunday, adding one rebound and one assist.

The Nets have encouraged Zeller to extend his shooting range this season, and he's stepped up to the challenge. He's a combined 7-of-17 from deep this year after attempting just one 3-pointer in 211 games as a member of the Celtics. That said, tonight's line is the latest proof that he's a liability in fantasy leagues, especially with Jahlil Okafor lurking in the background.

Tyler Zeller scored two points with three rebounds in 14 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

As you might expect, he got worked by the Pelicans bigs. Jarrett Allen supporters have been hoping for a lineup change and it could happen soon with coach Kenny Atkinson saying there could be a change coming to the first unit. Zeller's upside isn't worth owning.

The Nets will start Spencer Dinwiddie, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Tyler Zeller against the Wizards on Friday.

No changes this time and coach Kenny Atkinson said the Nets are ready to snap out of it. Basically, if they have another bad game, there could be a change coming. During this losing four-game losing streak, this unit has posted a +16.8 net rating over 39 minutes, so Atkinson is probably doing the right thing here.

Tyler Zeller notched 13 points and four rebounds in 21 minutes on Sunday, making 5-of-9 field goals including a 3-pointer.

Zeller was in double figures by halftime tonight, and he might have had a bigger line if his minutes weren't so limited -- he logged less than eight minutes after halftime. Jarrett Allen (17 minutes) was back in the rotation tonight, while Jahlil Okafor got a DNP-CD, and there are simply too many variables at the Nets' center spot to trust Zeller for fantasy purposes.

Tyler Zeller scored 12 points with seven rebounds and two turnovers in 22 minutes against the Heat on Saturday.

Chances are Zeller's minutes are going to see a huge hit when Jahlil Okafor joins the team on Tuesday. If you been using him in a deep league, you may want to take a minute to see if there's anything remotely attractive on the waiver wire.
Sat, Dec 9, 2017 08:55:00 PM

Tyler Zeller started at center on Thursday and hit 4-of-6 shots for 11 points, eight boards and a block in 20 minutes.

He's not likely to stick in the starting five with Jahlil Okafor heading to the Nets, not to mention the fact that Jarrett Allen needs more minutes. Zeller has been rebounding it well though, averaging 7.3 over his last four games.

Tyler Zeller played 20 foul-plagued minutes on Sunday, scoring seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with five rebounds and three turnovers.

Zeller committed his third foul just 3:37 into this game, at which point Jarrett Allen checked in for him. He settled down in the second half but still didn't do much to help fantasy owners, and can't be trusted in almost any league -- the center position will be filled "by committee" and guys like Jarrett Allen and Trevor Booker are persistent threats.

Tyler Zeller will start at center again vs. the Grizzlies on Sunday.

He draws a rough matchup vs. Marc Gasol and Zeller's starting gig could be short-lived -- Trevor Booker (ankle) is getting up to speed and coach Kenny Atkinson said the center position will be handled "by committee." Expect Jarrett Allen to also earn substantial playing time in the middle tonight.
Sun, Nov 26, 2017 05:22:00 PM

Tyler Zeller moved into the starting lineup on Wednesday and had seven points, seven rebounds and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes vs. the Cavaliers.

Trevor Booker (sprained ankle) was out tonight which gave Zeller his first start of the year, but this isn't a situation with long-term fantasy repercussions. It's also worth noting that Zeller's made 3-pointer tonight was the first of his NBA career. If Booker misses more time, expect Zeller to again split minutes with Quincy Acy and Jarrett Allen.

Spencer Dinwiddie, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Tyler Zeller will start against the Cavs on Wednesday.

It'll be Zeller's first start this season, but he should be close to his 16.8 minutes per game in his eight active outings this season. Behind Zeller, Jarrett Allen is likely going to be in the rotation unless the Nets want to get another look at Timofey Mozgov. Allen's upside in blocks makes him the more interesting pickup.
