Darius Miller started in place of Anthony Davis (thigh) on Monday vs. the Rockets, scoring 10 points on 4-of-10 shots.
Dante Cunningham (knee) was a late scratch, so Miller played a season-high 39 minutes. He took seven 3-point shots on the night and connected on two of them, adding four assists, three rebounds and one steal. Miller has been a sneaky source of fantasy value all season for his 3-point shooting and will be a nice short-term option if Davis needs to miss more time. Since Nov. 3, Miller has hit at least two triples in 17 out of 20 games. Dec 11 - 10:29 PM

Updating a previous report, Darius Miller will start in place of Anthony Davis (thigh) on Monday vs. Houston instead of Dante Cunningham.

Cunningham was expected to start, but he popped up on the injury report about five minutes before tip-off with a knee issue. If you need to stream some triples, Miller is worth a look.
Dec 11 - 8:09 PM

Darius Miller scored seven points with one rebound, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

He was playing 30.8 minutes per game over his previous December games, averaging 10.8 points, 1.5 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.5 steals and 2.5 treys. Miller still has a chance to get minutes in the mid 20s most nights and he's clearly ahead of Tony Allen for wing minutes with the Grindfather getting a DNP-CD. Miller is an option as a specialist in deep leagues.
Dec 9 - 1:55 AM

Darius Miller posted 10 points across a season-high 34 minutes in Saturday's win at Portland.

Miller also chipped in with three assists, two rebounds and a steal while hitting 2-of-6 from behind the arc, his 10th straight game with at least two triples. The injury to Anthony Davis (pelvis) met plenty of playing time for whomever stepped up, and Miller and Dante Cunningham certainly stepped up. Miller is worth grabbing in all deeper formats if he is going to get this kind of run while Davis is laid up.
Dec 3 - 1:18 AM

Darius Miller scored 15 points on 5-of-8 shots with four assists and four triples in 28 minutes.

Miller has been a huge surprise for the Pelicans this season and his floor spacing has been a huge boost. He played 28 minutes compared to four for Dante Cunningham and Cheick Diallo was a DNP-CD, so Miller may the biggest winner in fantasy if Anthony Davis' groin injury forces him to miss time (he's already considered doubtful for Saturday). He has at least two 3-pointers in 13 out of his last 14 games and is worth a long look in deeper formats.
Dec 2 - 12:27 AM

Darius Miller grabbed a season-high nine rebounds on Friday, to go along with 10 points, three assists and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Miller shot 3-of-10 from the field and he's become a designated long-range bomber for the Pelicans -- so far in November, 78.2 percent of his field goal attempts have been 3-pointers. The fact that he's shooting 60.0% from the field in that span is extraordinary, but it's also a reflection of how wide-open teams are leaving him. We don't think it will last, but feel free to play him until the bottom drops out.
Nov 25 - 12:26 AM

Darius Miller hit 4-of-5 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 22 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Miller is quietly averaging 10.8 points and 2.6 3-pointers over his last five games, making him worth a deep-league look I you need 3-pointers.
Nov 20 - 11:11 PM

Darius Miller made 4-of-5 from the field for 13 points with one assist, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Raptors on Wednesday.

After his career-high 21 point game, he takes a backseat because of Rajon Rondo returning and the Pelicans going with more multiple-guard lineups. This is still a pretty solid line, but he is not going to be this efficient. He's only worth owning in very deep leagues.
Nov 15 - 11:08 PM

Darius Miller hit 8-of-11 shots and 5-of-8 3-pointers for a career-high 21 points, one rebound, one assist and one steal in Monday's 106-105 win over the Hawks.

DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis filled the stat sheet for the Pelicans, but Miller's 3-point prowess was a huge factor in the win. He's been getting some nice run and has scored in double figures in three of his last five games. He's worth a deep-league look after averaging 11.2 points and 2.8 3-pointers on 61 percent shooting over his last five games, but it's hard to see it lasting. Just put him on your watch list.
Nov 13 - 11:07 PM

Darius Miller played 19 minutes and hit three 3-pointers for a season-high 12 points, one rebound and one assist.

He was coming off a season-high 28 minutes and 11 points in his previous game and has now hit a season high in points in three straight games. He's averaging 10.7 points and 3.0 3-pointers over that stretch, but he really hasn't done much besides those two numbers. Just keep an eye on him in you're in a deep league and need threes.
Nov 7 - 10:10 PM

Darius Miller played a season-high 28 minutes off the bench in Saturday's overtime win in Chicago, finishing with 11 points, two rebounds and an assist.

Miller had his second straight decent shooting night, knocking down 4-of-8 from the floor, including three 3-pointers for the second consecutive evening. He is averaging 10.0 PPG over the past two games, but is only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy formats if you're desperate for some long distance shooting.
Nov 4 - 11:14 PM

Darius Miller was a DNP-CD on Saturday.

With Josh Smith on the roster, Miller probably won't be in the rotation anymore.
Oct 28 - 10:10 PM

Darius Miller will move back to the bench on Saturday.

He may not be in the rotation tonight, especially with Josh Smith active.
Oct 28 - 6:26 PM

Darius Miller played six minutes and missed his only shot, finishing with zero points in a start at small forward for the Kings on Thursday.

He got the start as Dante Cunningham slid over to power forward while Anthony Davis sat out with an apparently minor knee injury. Ignore Miller for now.
Oct 27 - 1:56 AM

Darius Miller will start for Anthony Davis (knee) against the Kings on Thursday and Dante Cunningham will slide over to power forward.

Miller did get 20 minutes of action on Tuesday night, but he only had two shots from the field. We'll see how he fares in this game, but he is not really a reliable fantasy target. Expect to see a lot of three-guard lineups and Cheick Diallo should get some minutes up front, as well.
