Mike Scott was one of five Hawks' reserves in double digits on Wednesday, scoring 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting with a season-high nine rebounds, one 3-pointer, one steal and one assist.
He did his damage in 20 minutes as part of a devastating eruption from Atlanta's bench, which combined for 80 points on 32-of-55 shooting (58.2 percent). Mike Muscala added 12 points (4-of-5 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs) with a pair of boards in 20 minutes, but neither guy is worth considering in standard formats. Feb 3 - 10:20 PM

Date:

Mike Scott scored eight points with two rebounds and one 3-pointer on 3-of-11 from the field against the Pacers on Thursday.

He could be looking at bigger minutes with Paul Millsap (ankle) getting hurt tonight. Scott is only worth a look in very deep leagues.
Jan 28 - 10:22 PM

Mike Scott scored 16 points with four rebounds, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers against the Suns on Saturday.

This big game was all about Paul Millsap (personal) not playing tonight. Congrats if you started him in DFS or as a stream play, but Millsap should be back for Monday. Scott can be left on the wire.
Jan 23 - 11:49 PM

Mike Scott scored a season-high 18 points during a 117-98 win over the Knicks on Saturday, adding two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Tiago Splitter (leg) is likely going to be out, so there should be more minutes headed to Scott. Still, he won't be playing more than minutes in the teens and is only worth a look in very deep leagues.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer implied on Wednesday that with Tiago Splitter healthy, the rotation will include either Mike Scott or Mike Muscala, but not both.

It's been Scott more often that Muscala lately, but neither guy is on the standard league radar while coming off the bench in Atlanta.

Mike Scott tied his season high with 15 points in just 17 minutes of action on Sunday, making 6-of-10 shots with three 3-pointers, two rebounds and one assist.

Scott can get hot in a hurry but he's yet to score double-digit points in consecutive games this season, and has a fantasy-irrelevant role off the bench. The other shoe has yet to drop on his pending felony charges, and in the meantime it looks like he'll continue to fill a sporadic niche as a bench option for the eighth-place Hawks.

Mike Scott returned to action on Wednesday against the 76ers with nine points, two rebounds and one 3-pointer.

It was garbage time with the 76ers getting blown out yet again. Scott was expected to be cleared on Monday, but they got him out there tonight. He can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Mike Scott (left knee) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the 76ers.

Scott was available to play on Monday, but ended up picked up an DNP-CD. With the Hawks roster fully intact, that could again be the case tonight. We're taking him off the injury report, but Scott isn't worth owning in any league while the Hawks are at full health.
Wed, Dec 16, 2015 12:05:00 PM

Mike Scott (left knee contusion) is expected to be available on Monday vs. Miami.

Scott missed Saturday's game vs. San Antonio, but he's expected to be back in there on Monday.
Mon, Dec 14, 2015 11:57:00 AM

Mike Scott (knee) will not play on Saturday vs. the Spurs.

This will be Scott's third consecutive game on the sidelines. Tiago Splitter is probable to face the Spurs and could get a few extra minutes, while Mike Muscala gets a slight boost as well. An MRI on Scott's knee came back clean, so he should be considered day-to-day.
Sat, Dec 12, 2015 06:26:00 PM

MIke Scott (knee) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Saturday.

He has a knee contusion and missed his last game. If Scott can't go, Tiago Splitter and Mike Muscala will get some more run.
Fri, Dec 11, 2015 04:41:00 PM

Mike Scott (left knee contusion) will not play against the Thunder on Thursday.

He was a game-time call and the Hawks will hold him out. Tiago Splitter is also out tonight for rest, so there should be more minutes going to Mike Muscala. We'll also see Al Horford basically logging every minute at center tonight and Paul Millsap should play all four.
Thu, Dec 10, 2015 07:14:00 PM

Mike Scott (knee) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Thunder.

Scott banged his knee during the Hawks game against the Lakers on Friday, and sat out Wednesday's matchup with the Mavs due to the injury. He's only averaging 11.5 minutes per game this season, so his playing status has little consequence in standard settings. Mike Muscala (who is also a negligible fantasy option) will pick up Scott's minutes should he be unavailable.
Thu, Dec 10, 2015 06:47:00 PM

Mike Scott was hot off the bench against the Lakers on Friday with 14 points, three rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

The Hawks kept him out there while he was hot and he came through. Of course, this was a great matchup for him, so don't read too much into it. He and Mike Muscala may cancel each other out.
Sat, Dec 5, 2015 01:00:00 AM

Mike Scott (illness) played just five minutes against the Pistons on Tuesday.

He wasn't on the injury report, but the Hawks may have limited his minutes because he did miss practice on Sunday. Mike Muscala went down with an ankle sprain Tuesday, so Scott could see more minutes vs. the Knicks on Thursday. Regardless, Scott is only on the radar in deeper leagues.
