Mike Scott was in a walking boot after Wednesday's game against the Heat.
For most of the season, Scott had his left foot in ice water following a game, so the wear-and-tear damage may have made it worse. He also had lower left leg soreness earlier in the year, too. Scott was a DNP-CD on Sunday, so the Hawks should be able to fill his minutes. Feb 1 - 10:34 PM

Date:

Mike Scott did not play in the D-League on Wednesday due to lower left leg muscle soreness.

He had some left knee soreness earlier this season, so these two issues could be related. The Hawks haven't really been using him right now, but he would likely come up if the team ever traded Paul Millsap.
Jan 4 - 6:12 PM

The Hawks have assigned Mike Scott to the D-League.

He has only made seven appearances for the Hawks this season so this is another chance for him to get some burn. Scott is not a fantasy asset.
Jan 1 - 11:19 AM

The Hawks recalled Mike Scott.

He lit it up in the D-League with 23 points, for rebounds and three assists. Scott could see some minutes tonight, but he's not a fantasy option almost anywhere right now.

Mike Scott was assigned to the D-League on Monday.

He's not in the rotation right now and the Hawks probably want him to work on his conditioning in the D-League after a lengthy absence.

Mike Scott has been recalled from the D-League.

He played for the Delaware team and scored 13 points in the win. Scott will be available to play tonight against the Bucks, but won't have much fantasy value.

Mike Scott has been sent down for a D-League stint.

He's healthy, so this is just an effort to get Scott some playing time. He'll be playing with Atlanta's D-League team for the next two games, and then he'll be back to riding the bench in Atlanta. Scott is not worth a roster spot in any setting.

Mike Scott (knee) played 12 minutes on Friday vs. the Pistons, scoring two points with three rebounds and three assists.

The Hawks are easing him back into action and the Hawks may rest him on Saturday vs. the Raptors, but we'll take him off the injury report for now. He's not a fantasy pickup with Mike Muscala having a career year.

Mike Scott (knee) is probable for Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

This may be the last update we get on Scott before tip-off, so we can only assume that he's available to play. He only played four minutes in his debut and may be limited again even with Paul Millsap (hip) out. Also, the Hawks are starting small with Thabo Sefolosha at the four.

Mike Scott (sore left knee) is questionable to play against the Pistons on Friday.

He only played four minutes in his season debut on Wednesday. The Hawks may opt to sit Scott in one of the two back-to-back games, which is something coach Mike Budenholzer has done more than most coaches. Scott is not worth owning in standard leagues.

Mike Scott (left knee) made his season debut on Wednesday, coming off the bench for one rebound and one turnover in four minutes.

Scott has serious legal problems looming over him, stemming from a 2015 arrest in which he was charged with felony possession of marijuana and MDMA, and he's too risky to recommend in almost any format. He might not have even taken the court tonight if Paul Millsap (hip) were available to play.

Mike Scott (left knee) will be activated for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

He still might not play, and even if he does, he'll only see limited minutes off the bench. Leave him on the wire.

Mike Scott (left knee) is getting closer to a return and has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Phoenix.

Scott underwent non-surgical procedures in late October to address soreness in his left knee. He was projected to miss at least four weeks and was targeting a return date in early December. So this latest updates suggests he has not encountered any setbacks in his rehab. Scott averaged 6.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 15.3 minutes per game last season. He can be left on waivers in standard leagues, as he has limited fantasy value. However, Scott may eat into Thabo Sefolosha and Mike Muscala's minutes once he is finally healthy.

Mike Scott will miss at least four weeks as he undergoes non-surgical procedures on his sore left knee.

With Tiago Splitter (hamstring) also out, this explains why the Hawks waived Walter Tavares and signed Ryan Kelly on Monday. Scott can be dropped in all leagues, while Mike Muscala is starting to look like a nice pickup for owners in need of a big.

Mike Scott (knee) will not play against the 76ers on Saturday.

Scott did travel with the team for the game. He did not play in the opener, which is due to a nagging injury to his left knee. Scott would be in the rotation, but the Hawks didn't really need him with Mike Muscala behind Paul Millsap.
