Henry Sims grabbed just one rebound in 33 minutes of action against the Pistons on Thursday, adding 17 points, one assist, one steal and four turnovers.
Andrea Bargnani is jealous of Sims' rebounding rate tonight. Anyway, he's still favored to start and should have some low-end fantasy value if he can keep Arnett Moultrie at bay. Moultrie might not even make the team, so Sims is worth a look late. Oct 23 - 11:24 PM

Henry Sims scored 13 points in Monday's 99-88 loss to the Nets with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and five fouls in 20 minutes.

His numbers haven't been great over his past four, making just 37.1 percent from the field with 0.5 blocks. Sims does have some decent point and board totals this preseason, but he certainly hasn't solidified his case for more minutes. Fantasy owners can look at him as a middle-class man's Zach Randolph for his output in points and boards, but there isn't a lot of upside. Plus, Arnett Moultrie isn't falling on his face either, which we thought he would.
Oct 20 - 11:00 PM

Henry Sims bounced back from a dud with an eight-point, 10-board game against the Celtics on Thursday.

He shot 1-of-11 from the field on Tuesday and has looked pretty bad so far this preseason. Sims is still the favorite to start and could be a double-double threat, but the limited upside makes him a late-round lottery ticket. To be clear, he's still an option for owners needing a big man.
Oct 16 - 9:58 PM

Henry Sims hit just 1-of-11 shots, but also hit 8-of-8 free throws for 10 points, seven rebounds, a steal and no blocks in 34 minutes of Tuesday's loss.

He looks to be locked into the starting lineup, and while he hit 6-of-11 shots for 17 points on Friday, he hasn't looked very good in his other preseason games. But when you need a starting center late in your draft, don't forget about Sims. He put up some very nice stat lines late last season, and should get it going again before the games start counting.
Oct 14 - 10:08 PM

Henry Sims made 6-of-11 from the field for 17 points with six rebounds and one block in 24 minutes against the Wolves on Friday.

He looked really bad in the opener, but Sims has turned it around. He should be able to hold off Arnett Moultrie for the starting job and is well worth a look late in drafts. Moultrie had 10 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes.
Oct 10 - 10:48 PM

Henry Sims started at center again on Wednesday and hit 4-of-10 shots for nine points, five rebounds, a steal and zero blocks in a win over the Hornets.

Sims is a fantasy sleeper at center and is worth using a late draft pick on, as rookie Joel Embiid is out for the the season with a foot injury. Don't be afraid to use your last pick on him if you need a center.
Oct 8 - 10:15 PM

Henry Sims made just 3-of-15 from the field for six points with 10 boards, one block and three turnovers in 27 minutes on Monday.

He missed both attempts from the line and this horrific line doesn't even do Sims justice. He was lazy on both ends of the court and he probably hurt himself tonight. Sims is still a late-round target, but another line like this one will make it even harder to support the idea of grabbing him late.
Oct 6 - 11:08 PM

Henry Sims is expected to start next to Nerlens Noel for the 76ers to begin the season, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

It's hardly a surprise after Sims' terrific April with the 76ers, averaging 14.9 points, 7.3 boards, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks on 54.4 percent from the field. He isn't a starting-caliber big man in the NBA, but the 76ers aren't exactly the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls. Sims is on the radar as a late-round target in standard leagues.
Sep 25 - 8:17 PM

Henry Sims had 22 points, eight rebounds and a block on 10-of-15 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.

Sims has been a blast to own and is finishing the season on a high note, averaging 16.0 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last five games. And with no other centers in sight in Philly, he should continue to play well until the final buzzer.
Apr 9 - 10:48 PM

Henry Sims logged a double-double against the Nets on Saturday with 11 points, 11 boards and five fouls in 28 minutes.

He didn't block any shots and this was one of his least productive games in a while. The loss of Byron Mullens (ankle) gave him some extra opportunity, and Sims certainly didn’t squander it. He is getting to the line a lot and taking plenty of good shots around the rim as a nice complement to Thaddeus Young in the frontcourt. The former bench-warming Cavalier is now a strong player to own in standard leagues.
Apr 5 - 10:28 PM

Henry Sims scored a career-high 24 points on 5-of-10 shooting (14-of-18 FTs) with nine rebounds and no steals or blocks in Friday's win over the Celtics.

Sims has been a nice pickup for owners as a top-100 play over the last two weeks and he is a must-own player in all but the shallowest of formats. Michael Carter-Williams added 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting with six rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in the win.
Apr 4 - 11:42 PM

Henry Sims had a quiet evening against the Hawks on Monday with eight points, five boards, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

He was coasting before tonight and his momentum came to a halt. Sims still saw plenty of action tonight and his playing time is not in jeopardy. His owners can keep him rolling against the Bobcats on Wednesday.
Mar 31 - 10:59 PM

Henry Sims looked great against the Pistons during Saturday's 123-98 win with 16 points, seven boards, one assist and one block in 27 minutes.

The Pistons may look like a decent defense on paper, but they are prone to giving up some big lines to centers. Believe it or not, Sims is playing very well over his last five with averages of 15.6 points, 9.6 boards, 2.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.8 steals on 56.9 percent shooting. Those are must-own numbers.
Mar 29 - 10:07 PM

Henry Sims scored 18 points in his 26 minutes of action during a 120-98 loss to the Rockets on Thursday, adding six boards, two assists, one steal and one block.

It was his birthday today and he celebrated it matching up against Dwight Howard and tying the NBA record for most consecutive losses. Of course, Sims wasn’t with the team back when he joined after the trade deadline. As far as specifics go, he’s played very well and really has no competition, so he should be owned in standard leagues. Plus, it helps that garbage time won’t hurt him.
Mar 27 - 10:34 PM

Henry Sims scored 10 points with seven boards, seven assists and two steals in 33 minutes vs. the Spurs on Monday.

He played just 8.4 minutes per game in only 20 outings with the Cavs, but your 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers have played him 29.0 minutes per game over his last five. Sims put up averages of 11.4 points, 10.2 boards, 3.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.6 blocks in that span, which makes him a player worth owning in standard formats.
