The Bulls have waived guards Kim English and Ben Hansbrough as well as forward Solomon Jones.
All three were signed in late September and went through training camp with the team. Unfortunately, it was a long shot for any of them to make the final 15-man roster. English and Hansbrough didn't receive any preseason game action while Jones saw just 11 minutes. Oct 18 - 12:32 PM

The Bulls signed G Kim English, G Ben Hansbrough, and F/C Solomon Jones on Friday to round out their 2014-15 training camp roster.

These guys will provide bodies to practice against during training camp, but none of them will be worth drafting in standard leagues even if they somehow make the final 15-man roster.

Former Piston guard Kim English has reportedly signed with Montepaschi Siena of the Euroleague, according to HoopsHype.

The free agent didn't have many suitors after a rough year with the Pistons and will hope to gain enough experience to make it back to the NBA at some point.

Former Pistons guard Kim English said that "three or four teams are showing interest" in signing him.

He doesn't expect to get a contract offer until guys like Gerald Henderson and Gary Neal are snapped up in free agency. He may not receive a fully-guaranteed offer, either, and suggested that he could head overseas if there isn't sufficient interest around the NBA. "This is a multi-billion dollar industry around the world," he said, "so wherever I play, I'll take it as blessing that I'm doing what I love."

Kim English has been released by the Pistons.

The second year of his two-year contract was not guaranteed and with the Pistons adding some backcourt depth, English's roster spot was in jeopardy. He'll be an unrestricted free agent and might get some interest as an end-of-the-bench guard.

Kim English needs to add more strength during the offseason.

English will also work on his ballhandling and perimeter shot as the Pistons really begin to turn the screws on their younger players to step up and become contributors. English could play a consistent role in the rotation next season if he improves enough considering the futures of Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum are uncertain.

Kim English is working extra after practice in order to rejoin the rotation.

"I'm just learning," he said. "I'm working on a lot of stuff. When my name's called, I will be ready," he said. English has zero value in standard formats.

Kim English is inactive for the Pistons on Sunday.

Vyacheslav Kravtsov is also inactive for Detroit as they take on the Celtics. English was averaging 13 minutes per game in the first six games, but has seen a grand total of one minute in his last four.

Kim English has added 10 lbs since he was drafted.

English is working on his strength in order to survive the pace of play in the NBA as well as the 82-game schedule, but he's going to need an injury or two to be relevant for fantasy owners during his first season.

Pistons rookie Kim English admitted he's still adjusting to the pace of the NBA.

"The 24-second pace is 11 seconds shorter than college, so it's an adjustment that has to be made," said English. He's a great shooter who made 45.9 percent of his 3-pointers with Missouri last season, and he's a solid defender with great size for a SG at 6'6", 200 lbs. It will probably take an injury to Rodney Stuckey for English to be worth owning in fantasy this year.

Kim English has been working with the Pistons coaching staff on his conditioning.

English wrote that "my body is changing" after working with Arnie Kander and the coaching staff, and he's up eight pounds (from 192 to 200) since being drafted. English also revealed that he's "doing things that are a lot different" than previously, but it's a part of the acclimation process. English still has a long road ahead if he is going to become relevant for fantasy owners this season.

Keith Langlois of Pistons.com believes that Kim English is the "most needed" rookie on the roster.

English looked good in Summer League with averages of 30.0 minutes, 11.4 points and 2.0 threes in his five games. The 44th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft still has a long way to go to accumulate anything that resembles fantasy value.

Pistons sign rookie SG Kim English to rookie contract.

English was taken in Round 2 of the draft but early reports are that he looks good. He'll have a reserve role with Detroit and shouldn't be considered in fantasy leagues next season.
