Quincy Acy's contract for the 2017-18 season is now guaranteed.
He got married on the same day as his guarantee date, so congrats to Acy and his family. The Nets are a little thin in their frontcourt with only Timofey Mozgov, Jarrett Allen, Trevor Booker and Andrew Nicholson under contract for 2017-18, so Acy does have a shot at minutes on opening night. In 32 games with the Nets last season, Acy averaged 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.1 triples and 0.5 blocks in 15.9 minutes. Jul 17 - 9:34 AM

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (sore left ankle) will miss the final two games of the season.

He will be watching his teammates from the sidelines on Monday vs. the Celtics and Wednesday vs. the Bulls. Acy was only averaging 15.0 minutes per game in April and that doesn't include a DNP-CD, so there are no real fantasy implications here. If anything, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Trevor Booker will get a slight bump.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (sore left ankle) won't play vs. the Celtics on Monday.

Acy has been dealing with a left ankle issue since early February, and it's possible the Nets will just shut him down for their final two games. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Trevor Booker get a slight boost with Acy out of the rotation.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (sore left ankle) returned to action on Sunday with five rebounds, two personal fouls and one turnover in 16 minutes.

Acy missed all four of his shots, including two attempts from downtown, but he still finished with a positive +/- rating -- the Nets' bench was a decisive factor tonight. As tonight's line demonstrates, Acy isn't a fantasy asset.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (ankle) will be available to play Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Acy should be back in his 20-minute reserve role tonight following a two-game stint on the sidelines, and with him back on the active roster, Andrew Nicholson will head to the inactive list. Neither of these guys have any fantasy value.
Apr 2 - 5:25 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (left ankle soreness) is probable for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

He's expected to return from a two-game absence, but unless the Nets rest a couple players on the second night of a back-to-back set, there's not much fantasy appeal here. Acy averaged 7.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 3-pointers in 19.4 minutes per game in March.
Apr 2 - 12:52 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play against the Magic on Saturday.

He is dealing with ankle soreness and the Nets may opt to shut him down. Justin Hamilton will be the backup behind Brook Lopez.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (ankle soreness) will not play on Thursday against the Pistons.

The Nets will hold him out in a non-back-to-back game, so it's possible he misses additional time. With him out, Justin Hamilton should get most of the backup minutes at the five.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy scored 11 points with three rebounds and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes against the Mavs on Sunday.

With the Nets giving Trevor Booker a DNP-CD, Acy looks like the main bench big man right now. He's scored at least nine in four of his last five games with a stunning 1.8 treys per game. If the Nets do rest Brook Lopez at some point, Acy might be sneaky in deep leagues.
Mar 19 - 2:43 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy drained a career-high four 3-pointers en route to 12 points, six boards and one assist in 19 minutes vs. the Knicks on Sunday.

The entire Nets team was scorching from downtown tonight, but this isn't a total fluke from Acy -- the five-year veteran is averaging 1.5 triples on 47.4 percent shooting from deep in March. He doesn't contribute regularly enough to help owners in standard leagues, but is worth a long look in deeper formats.
Mar 12 - 9:25 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy will return to the bench for Sunday's game against the Knicks.

Acy got the spot-start at the five-spot on Friday with Brook Lopez (ankle) on the sidelines, but his minutes should trend back towards the teens with Lopez active. Acy is not a realistic target in any setting.
Mar 12 - 5:48 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy started in place of Brook Lopez (ankle) on Friday vs. the Mavericks and scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting.

He played well, but he only saw 23 minutes on the night. Acy added four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two triples, but we can't get behind an add outside of very deep leagues unless we learn that Lopez will miss more time. The Nets are off on Saturday before they take on the Knicks on Sunday.
Mar 10 - 11:49 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy is starting as expected on Friday vs. the Mavericks.

Brook Lopez (ankle) is out, but the Nets will go small since the Mavericks are missing Nerlens Noel (knee). While Acy is getting the start, we should see more of Justin Hamilton and Trevor Booker could spend some time at center as well. There are no great adds here in standard leagues.
Mar 10 - 8:08 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy is listed as the starter against the Mavs on Friday.

With Brook Lopez (ankle) out and Acy playing well, it makes sense. Justin Hamilton hasn't been in the rotation since his illness last week, but he should absolutely get minutes tonight. We should see some Trevor Booker at the five, which could help Rondae Hollis-Jefferson get closer to 30 minutes. Acy is a decent punt in DFS, but he's not really an add here.
Mar 10 - 7:18 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (ankle) returned to action vs. the Kings, scoring four points with three rebounds and one block in 11 minutes on Wednesday.

Acy missed the Nets' previous seven games but he looked good tonight, even hitting a 3-pointer for good measure. He may have had extra incentive to return vs. his former team, but either way he's on the periphery of the Nets' rotation and isn't a fantasy option.
