Quincy Acy was a DNP-CD on Thursday.
He started on Wednesday and that'll be that for now. Acy can be dropped in almost all leagues now that Willie Cauley-Stein is healthy. Jan 15 - 1:19 AM

Quincy Acy started again on Wednesday but failed to score in nine minutes of action, and he was benched to begin the second half.

George Karl reportedly likes Acy's pick-and-roll defense in the starting lineup, but it was inevitable that he'd cede the job -- tonight it was Kosta Koufos taking his spot after halftime. Omri Casspi and Willie Cauley-Stein are also threats to Acy's role, and he belongs on the waiver wire in all formats.
Jan 14 - 1:54 AM

Quincy Acy will start against the Pelicans on Wednesday with Omri Casspi (back) coming off the bench.

Coach George Karl likes Acy's pick-and-roll defense, which is kind of odd because he might be guarding Ryan Anderson. Acy should still not be playing much tonight with Casspi back.
Jan 13 - 8:26 PM

Quincy Acy scored 18 points in 25 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday with four rebounds, one steal and two blocks.

He made 8-of-9 from the field and played down the stretch. The Kings were not getting much out of their small-ball lineup, so they went with Acy next to DeMarcus Cousins down the stretch. Omri Casspi (back) shouldn't be out for too long, so Acy is only worth a look in very deep leagues. That may change if Boogie's ankle is a problem, but it looked minor.
Jan 8 - 1:48 AM

Quincy Acy scored a season-high 12 points in Tuesday's double overtime loss to the Mavericks.

He also added six boards, one steal and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes, and he drew his second straight start in place of Omri Casspi (back). Acy played just five minutes on Monday vs. the Thunder and he has very little upside, so he is not worth a look in most leagues even if Casspi misses more games.
Jan 6 - 12:50 AM

Quincy Acy started at power forward on Monday vs. the Blazers, but he was benched at halftime and played just five total minutes.

He had one rebound and one foul. Needless to say, Acy has no fantasy value.
Jan 5 - 2:17 AM

Quincy Acy will start on Monday vs. the Thunder in place of Omri Casspi (back).

Even if Casspi misses additional time, Acy is only worth a look in very deep leagues. Acy is averaging 2.5 points and 2.3 boards in 10.2 minutes per game.
Jan 4 - 7:56 PM

Quincy Acy played only nine minutes off the Kings' bench on Wednesday, scoring two points with five rebounds and one steal in a loss to the Sixers.

Acy had a big game on Monday with eight points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks, but that was entirely due to DeMarcus Cousins' early foul trouble and eventual ejection. Cousins didn't foul out until much later tonight, hence Acy's negligible playing time.
Thu, Dec 31, 2015 01:59:00 AM

Quincy Acy scored eight points with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks and one 3-pointer against the Warriors on Monday.

The Kings were almost out of centers with DeMarcus Cousins ejected and Kosta Koufos (illness) out tonight, so it was up to Acy to be the center for most of the second half. He can be left on the wire.
Tue, Dec 29, 2015 01:26:00 AM

Quincy Acy started the second half on Friday and finished with one point, one board and three fouls in nine minutes.

Cool. Acy will not be logging much time and shouldn't be owned anywhere.
Sat, Nov 28, 2015 03:07:00 AM

Quincy Acy will return to the bench for Thursday's game against the Heat.

Acy started on Wednesday, put failed to score through his 16 minutes of action, which pretty much sums up his non-existent fantasy value. Leave him on the wire.
Thu, Nov 19, 2015 07:07:00 PM

Quincy Acy did not score in 16 minutes during a start against the Hawks on Wednesday.

He added one rebound, one assist and one block. Acy doesn't have value in almost any league. Although, he does have something in common with Kristaps Porzingis because the Madison Square Garden crowd has chanted "MVP" for both guys.
Wed, Nov 18, 2015 10:34:00 PM

Quincy Acy was a surprise starter for the Kings on Wednesday, sending Willie Cauley-Stein to the bench.

Cauley-Stein was originally expected to start, but Acy matches up better vs. the Hawks' 3-point-capable frontcourt. He's a defensive specialist and rebounder who doesn't offer fantasy upside even when spot-starting at PF.
Wed, Nov 18, 2015 08:15:00 PM

Quincy Acy started the second half in place of Willie Cauley-Stein, but he finished with only two points, three boards and one assist in the Kings' third straight win.

Cauley-Stein was being evaluated for concussion symptoms and if he misses any time Acy could earn another start. That doesn't give him substantial fantasy value, though, as his defense-and-rebounding role is only useful in the deepest leagues.
Sun, Nov 15, 2015 11:49:00 PM

Quincy Acy returned to the bench for Saturday's game against the Spurs, scoring three points in three minutes.

Acy isn't going to be in the rotation while the Kings are at full strength and tonight's line is a prime example of why he is not a fantasy asset.
