Quincy Acy (ankle) grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in his return to action on Friday after missing the Kings' previous three games.
This sums up Acy's role for Sacramento, as he comes off the bench to provide physicality and rebounding, and there's not much to be gleaned for fantasy purposes. Mar 29 - 9:49 AM

Quincy Acy (ankle) was available for Wednesday night's game against the Knicks.

Acy received a DNP-CD Wednesday, but was in uniform after missing two games with a sprained ankle. While it's always good news when a player returns to health, Acy is only averaged 1.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game during the month of March so his fantasy value is extremely limited.
Mar 27 - 10:28 AM

Quincy Acy (ankle) will play against the Knicks on Wednesday.

He suffered a sprained ankle last week and missed Sunday and Friday games. Acy has missed his last five field goals in his previous two games out there and has little fantasy value.
Mar 26 - 8:41 PM

Quincy Acy (sprained ankle) returned to practice on Tuesday but he is questionable to play vs. the Knicks on Wednesday.

Acy has missed two games but his absence barely registers in fantasy leagues, as he was averaging a mere 1.3 points in 11 minutes per game in March.
Mar 25 - 3:13 PM

Quincy Acy's right ankle sprain will sideline him again on Sunday.

The rugged rebounder is day-to-day but his availability doesn't have any impact in standard fantasy leagues. Rudy Gay (illness) is healthy and starting at SF, with Reggie Evans getting another start at PF.
Mar 23 - 4:34 PM

Quincy Acy will not play against the Spurs on Friday due to a right ankle sprain.

He is listed as day-to-day and should be considered questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bucks. Acy played just 12 minutes on Tuesday and isn't too involved in the second unit, so the Kings could lean more on Reggie Evans and Jason Thompson a bit more tonight.
Mar 21 - 10:16 PM

Quincy Acy came off the bench for four points and a career-best 12 rebounds in Wednesday's loss.

DeMarcus Cousins was out with a hip injury and Acy got 26 minutes as a result. He simply can't score the basketball and hasn't been reliable enough in the other big-man departments to be owned in any leagues. Forget about him unless Cousins is going to miss a big chunk of time, but even then, there are other players (Travis Outlaw, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry) that would be safer pickups. And for the record, Cousins isn't expected to miss much time with his injury.
Feb 20 - 3:13 AM

Quincy Acy will start against the Celtics on Friday.

He'll join Isaiah Thomas, Ben McLemore, Jason Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins in the first unit. This is a surprise move and perhaps Derrick Williams' foot injury is not at 100 percent. Acy has played some small forward before and he spent a lot of time playing there in the offseason, especially during summer league. All things equal, Williams seems like the better play tonight.
Feb 7 - 6:58 PM

Quincy Acy came off the bench for two points and 10 rebounds in 14 minutes of Saturday's loss to the Spurs.

Despite tonight's rebounding explosion, Acy is averaging 4.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks over his last five games, meaning he isn't worth owning in most leagues, even when he's hot.
Feb 2 - 12:55 AM

Quincy Acy logged 31 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring eight points on 3-of-4 shooting with six rebounds, one steal and two blocks.

Acy was called upon to help on Dirk Nowitzki with Jason Thompson in foul trouble and he's nothing more than a glue guy these days with no fantasy value. Excellent beard, though.
Feb 1 - 12:58 AM

Quincy Acy will be traded from the Raptors to the Kings as part of Sunday's deal for Rudy Gay.

Acy is averaging 2.7 points in nine minutes per game with the Raptors and enters a thicket of competition in Sacramento. He should carve out a backup PF role behind Jason Thompson, at least until Carl Landry returns, but fantasy owners can safely look the other way.
Sun, Dec 8, 2013 07:57:00 PM

Quincy Acy (ankle) returned to action on Friday and played four minutes off the bench.

Acy averages 11.4 minutes per game right now and has no fantasy value.
Sat, Nov 30, 2013 01:18:00 AM

Quincy Acy (ankle) will be active against the Heat on Friday.

Acy has been out for four games and isn't a lock to get some action tonight. The Raptors play him only 11.4 minutes per game at both forward spots and is off the fantasy radar.
Fri, Nov 29, 2013 06:03:00 PM

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play against the Wizards on Friday.

He's playing just 11.4 minutes per game so far this season. Those minutes almost went exclusively to Terrence Ross on Wednesday and the high-flying wing turned in a big line of 17 points, seven boards and three 3-pointers. He's a desperation streaming option, but the expectations should be kept low
Fri, Nov 22, 2013 05:41:00 PM

Quincy Acy (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Wizards.

Acy has been dealing with a sprained ankle since Sunday and missed Wednesday's game with the injury. He's only averaging 11.4 minutes per game this season, so he isn't anyone fantasy owners should have on their watch lists.
