Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play Wednesday vs. the Bucks.
This will be the fifth straight game Acy has missed due to the ankle injury. He is averaging just 11.2 minutes in the 12 games he has played for the Nets this season, so the fantasy impact here is minimal. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Hamilton could end up seeing a few extra minutes apiece. Feb 14 - 6:28 PM

Quincy Acy (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies.

Acy has missed three straight games and Monday will be his fourth. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Hamilton both pick up some extra playing time in his absence, but this doesn't have a big impact in typical fantasy leagues.

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play against the Heat on Friday.

This will be his third game out due to his ankle sprain from Sunday. With Acy out, there have been a few extra minutes for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Hamilton. Rondae is trending up again while Hamilton is more of a deep-league player these days.

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

This will be Acy's second straight game on the sidelines, which should open up some minutes for Justin Hamilton and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Acy should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Heat, but he's not worth owning in any setting.

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play Tuesday vs. the Hornets.

Acy injured his ankle on Sunday, and the Nets will be in no rush to bring him back to the court. With him out, there will be more minutes available for guys like Justin Hamilton, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Trevor Booker.

Quincy Acy (ankle) did not return to Sunday's loss to the Raptors.

Acy only lasted two minutes, missing his only shot and finishing the game with just one rebound to his credit. The Nets tend to take an extremely cautious approach with their injuries, and Acy did appear to be in a decent amount of pain, so we'll consider him questionable for Tuesday's game in Charlotte. If he's out, there will be some more minutes available for Justin Hamilton, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Trevor Booker.

Quincy Acy (left ankle) is doubtful to return on Sunday.

His ankle sprain didn't look great in the first half, but at least he was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. Acy is signed for the rest of the season, so the Nets will likely do their usual process of taking it easy on a hurt player. With him out, it'll be Justin Hamilton, Luis Scola and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson all getting slight bumps. There's no move to be made here.

Feb 5 - 1:21 PM

Quincy Acy suffered an apparent left ankle sprain in the second quarter and went to the locker room.

He was running in transition and stepped on Terrence Ross' foot. Acy was on the floor for about two minutes, went to the bench for about 30 seconds to get checked out, and limped to the locker room under his own power. He's likely going to be out for the game here, which means more minutes for Trevor Booker, Justin Hamilton and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
Feb 5 - 12:58 PM

Quincy Acy closed against the Pacers on Friday, finishing with eight points, three rebounds and two 3-pointers in 13 minutes.

He played a lot of stretch four late in the game and actually led the team in 3-point attempts with five. Acy was the 11th player to check in today, so it's obviously tough to count on him in that role.
Feb 3 - 10:45 PM

Quincy Acy officially inked a two-year deal with the Nets on Monday.

Acy is averaging just 7.0 points and 2.7 boards per game in 11.9 minutes a night with the Nets this season, so there's no reason to pay him any attention in fantasy hoops.
Jan 30 - 3:58 PM

Quincy Acy will reportedly sign a two-year deal with the Nets.

He's a solid locker room guy, a plus defender and he also won't demand minutes, so this move makes sense for both parties. He's not a realistic target in most settings, though.
Jan 29 - 2:28 PM

Quincy Acy scored a season-high 14 points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers against the Hornets on Saturday.

It looks like someone wants a rest-of-season deal. Acy received a second 10-day deal yesterday and has played very well as the backup center. Maybe he likes to play in New York and he could stick. Knicks fans may remember the MVP chants for Acy back in January 2015. He's only an add if you have dead weight.
Jan 21 - 9:48 PM

Quincy Acy scored a season-high 12 points with eight rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

He was happy to get a second 10-day deal and he made the Nets feel good about it right off the bat. Acy plays mostly center for the Nets, so keep that in mind if Brook Lopez rests. He'll only be a desperation stream or punt in DFS best case.
Jan 21 - 12:07 AM

Quincy Acy will sign another 10-day contract with the Nets.

Acy has made four brief appearances for the Nets, but he made a decent fist impression with averages of 6.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. Unless his role grows, fantasy owners can continue to ignore him.
Jan 19 - 11:09 AM

Quincy Acy played 20 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Rockets, finishing with seven points, four boards, one block and one 3-pointer.

Acy is a combined 3-of-4 from deep since joining the Nets on Jan. 10, but perimeter shooting isn't a facet of his game we expect to see with regularity. He was also averaging just 3.0 minutes in his previous two appearances for Brooklyn, with a DNP-CD to his credit, and there's no reason to consider him in fantasy.
