Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy scored a career-high 21 points during a 124-96 win over the Bulls on Saturday, adding three rebounds, one assist and six 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

That's a career high in triples for Acy with 3-pointers being the story today. The Nets had a franchise-record 24 treys in this game, and they were just one shy of the NBA record (Cavs last year). Knicks fans may remember when Acy got the MVP chants at MSG earlier in his career, and he was in that form today. He's not much of a fantasy add, though.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy scored nine points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes against the Bucks on Thursday.

He was the backup five man and that could continue with Dante Cunningham (back) not healthy.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy was fined $25,000 for his involvement in Sunday's altercation with Andre Drummond.

This is a pretty light punishment for Acy considering he inadvertently made contact with a referee during the altercation, but it looks like neither player will be suspended. "We stripped the ball, going for the ball, he shot an [elbow], and I overreacted. I felt like he took a swing. Things definitely got out of hand. It’s not how I’m supposed to act," Acy said.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy was ejected from Sunday's game against the Pistons near the end of the third quarter after a fracas with Andre Drummond.

Acy also inadvertently hit the ref in the face going after Andre Drummond, so there might be more disciplinary coming for Acy outside of just the ejection. His wallet is likely to be lighter and he might face a potential suspension. He ended up scoreless in just four minutes, going 0-of-4 from the field with a rebound, yet still ended up a plus-5. It was a disappointment after his 13-point effort on Saturday in Miami.
Apr 1 - 7:53 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy ended up with 13 points across 14 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 110-109 overtime win in Miami.

Acy was a very efficient 4-of-5 from the field, including 3-of-4 from behind the 3-point line, and he added 2-of-2 from the free-throw stripe. His only other contribution was his two rebounds, as he didn't offer any other stats. Of course, he also didn't turn the ball over, either. At this point he remains useful only in the deepest of fantasy leagues unless something happens to Jarrett Allen or Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to force them out.
Apr 1 - 12:38 AM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy scored three points with five boards, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Hornets on Thursday.

He continues to play more center, but this time coach Kenny Atkinson gave Jarrett Allen some leash. Acy's playing time will likely drop more next week with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson possibly returning, so he's more of a drop than an add in deeper leagues.
Feb 22 - 9:22 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy will move to the bench on Thursday against the Hornets.

There's a decent chance he'll stay on the bench for a while with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) getting closer. Although, Acy could be out there at center tonight for a handful of minutes, especially if Jarrett Allen struggles vs. Dwight Howard.
Feb 22 - 6:18 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy started on Monday and played 31 minutes, hitting 3-of-8 shots and a couple 3-pointers for eight points, five rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block in a 114-101 loss to the Clippers.

Acy played 40 minutes on Saturday, but didn't even play in the previous two games due to a finger injury. Kenny Atkinson apparently love Acy and while he's not someone we'd recommend you pick up, if he keeps playing crazy minutes like this, that could quickly change. He's averaging 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 3-pointers over his last two games, so just keep an eye on him. He should take a solid hit once Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is back from his groin injury after the break.
Feb 12 - 10:26 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy came off the bench for 40 minutes against the Pelicans, scoring 10 points with five boards, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

He was the primary defender against Anthony Davis in the overtime frames and it looked like coach Kenny Atkinson likes him as a five man. Acy will likely be used situationally, so he's only an add in 16-team leagues.
Feb 10 - 9:19 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (finger) is available for Saturday against the Pelicans.

Presumably, he'll be in the starting lineup with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson already ruled out. Acy could be giving way to rookie James Webb III while DeMarre Carroll is going to play a lot of four, too. Acy's upside isn't high enough to add in even 16-team leagues.
Feb 9 - 2:11 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (finger) will not play against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Well, the Nets are going to be really thin again, especially on a back-to-back set. We should see a decent amount of DeMarre Carroll, and James Webb III should get the biggest opportunity of his career.
Feb 7 - 5:40 PM
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (finger) is questionable to play Wednesday against the Pistons.

Acy sat out the previous game, which resulted in DeMarre Carroll shifting over to the four with Joe Harris starting at the three-spot. If he's out again tonight, it'll be more of the same, and Harris could be forced into big minutes with Caris LeVert (knee, concussion) out. Stay tuned.

Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (sprained right middle finger) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Rockets.

Head coach Kenny Atkinson wouldn't say who would replace Acy in the starting five tonight, but with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin) also on the sidelines, the Nets will be very thin up front. Joe Harris has started in the past, so Atkinson could move DeMarre Carroll over to the four to start Harris at the three-spot, and Acy's absence should also open up some minutes for Jahlil Okafor. Check back closer to tip-off for an update on the Brooklyn starters.
Quincy Acy - F/C - Nets

Quincy Acy (sprained right middle finger) is questionable to play Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

The injury is to Acy's shooting hand, and given how cautious Brooklyn can be with even the most minor of injuries, it wouldn't be all that shocking to see Acy sit on Tuesday. We should get another update following shootaround, but if he's out, there will be more minutes for guys like DeMarre Carroll, Joe Harris and Jarret Allen. Stay tuned.
