Quincy Acy (knee, personal) is ready to play against the Warriors on Saturday.
He's been out for the last three games and it's unclear how many minutes he'll see. Acy did have a couple DNP-CDs since the break, but played 20 minutes on Mar. 7. Considering the Knicks are playing decent ball without him, Acy may not play much. Mar 14 - 2:16 PM

Quincy Acy (personal) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Warriors.

He has missed the past three games and it's safe to say that he won't be a big part of the rotation if he does return tonight. Acy should be left on the wire in almost all leagues.

Quincy Acy (personal) will not play Thursday vs. the Lakers.

Acy is reportedly away from the team tonight due to personal reasons, and with him out, Andrea Bargnani and Jason Smith will pick up most of his minutes. Bargnani has stepped up as New York's go-to guy on offense, and he'll be worth a look as a plug-and-play option in daily leagues with a favorable matchup against the Lakers.
Mar 12 - 1:51 PM

Quincy Acy (knee) will not play vs. the Jazz on Tuesday.

He wasn't in the rotation to begin with, so his absence won't have any fantasy implications. Leave Acy on the wire.
Mar 10 - 7:39 PM

Quincy Acy (knee) will not play on Monday against the Nuggets.

He has no real sustainable fantasy value in standard-sized leagues, anyway.
Mar 9 - 12:54 PM

Quincy Acy played just four minutes against the Bucks on Thursday.

The last time we saw Acy, he was receiving MVP chants in the fourth quarter at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Tonight, coach Derek Fisher decided to play 13 guys and give the bench big-man minutes to Lance Thomas and Lou Amundsen. Neither of those two guys are likely going to last past the All-Star break, but Acy's upside isn't too high to begin with. If you picked him up based on Saturday, you can probably let him go.
Jan 15 - 7:53 PM

Quincy Acy received MVP chants in the fourth quarter of Saturday's embarrassing 110-82 loss to the Hornets, scoring 18 points with one rebound, two steals and three 3-pointers.

A couple of summers ago, Acy spent some time working on his 3-point shot because he wanted to play more small forward. Now, it's starting to pay dividends with two multiple-trey games in his last four. This line is mostly due to garbage time, so Acy isn't a great add in standard leagues yet. Plus, Amare Stoudemire could come back on Thursday.
Jan 10 - 5:02 PM

Quincy Acy played 31 minutes in an ugly 120-96 loss on Thursday with 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and one turnover.

Acy does have a couple blips on the radar in 2015, but his body of work in his career doesn't bode well for a breakout. Before tonight, he only has a 13.5 usage rate, a 13.5 percent rebound rate and only has 0.3 blocks per game in his 22.2 minutes per game on the season. He's only a deep league target.
Jan 8 - 11:29 PM

Quincy Acy hit just 2-of-8 shots for four points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards.

The minutes were nice, but despite the extra run he's going to get for the depleted Knicks, it's important to remember that he's still Quincy Acy. He's probably worth owning right now, but you'll have to learn to take the bad with the good with him.
Jan 7 - 9:45 PM

Quincy Acy was the lone bright short off the bench against the Grizzlies on Monday, making 7-of-8 from the field for 19 points with 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

The other three bench guys were a combined 7-of-24 while Acy posted a sterling 100.0 effective field goal percentage. Garbage time was a factor, but Acy should be in line for minutes in the 20s. He's obviously not going to be this good and is only worth a look in deeper leagues for now.
Jan 5 - 11:22 PM

Quincy Acy played well vs. the Bucks on Sunday, finishing with nine points, seven boards, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes.

He was well on his way to a double-double before getting into foul trouble, so the line could have been better. Acy did have a vicious dunk over Giannis Antetokounmpo in this one, but even that wasn't enough to help the Knicks avoid their 11th straight loss. Given the amount of injuries the Knicks are dealing with, Acy is worth a look in deeper leagues for short-term value.
Jan 4 - 10:51 PM

Quincy Acy will replace Jason Smith in the starting lineup for Sunday's game vs. the Bucks.

Acy hasn't been worth using even when starting, so this news doesn't mean much. Leave him on the waiver wire.
Jan 4 - 6:04 PM

Quincy Acy nearly double-doubled with nine points, nine rebounds, one steal and one block in 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout loss.

Acy hasn't done much with a relatively healthy 21.4 mpg this season, so there's no need to pay much attention to the sporadic outbursts.
Jan 3 - 12:38 AM

Quincy Acy returned from his one-game suspension on Sunday, coming off the Knicks' bench for 12 points, four rebounds, one assist and a pair of 3-pointers.

Acy came in with season averages of 5.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.3 blocks in 21 minutes per game, including 19 starts at the forward spots. The 24-year-old fills a niche for New York, but he simply doesn't have enough statistical upside for use in typical fantasy formats. Don't be fooled by his 2-of-2 mark from downtown, either, as he now has six 3-pointers in his three-year career.

Quincy Acy will return from his one-game suspension and he will play on Sunday against Portland.

He was suspended for throwing a punch towards John Wall on Christmas but later admitted his mistakes. "I fouled him hard. The foul was unnecessary," Acy said. "I didn’t have to foul him that hard. Which is why I kept walking towards him and was about to help him up. He got up and pushed. Anybody’s initial reaction is to react. But then I stopped myself and tried to grab him." The Knicks will be glad to have their enforcer back on the court, though his limited role leaves him off of the fantasy radar in most leagues.
