Mirza Teletovic (lungs) went through practice on Monday.
He is still very unlikely to play on Wednesday, but this is fantastic news. Teletovic has been practicing since Friday and he's cleared to play in games. If he does play, he'll likely take some minutes away from Mason Plumlee or maybe Markel Brown with the Nets tweaking their rotation. Apr 20 - 2:36 PM

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) has been cleared for basketball activities, but he will remain sidelined for Games 1 and 2 of the first round of the playoffs.

Teletovic was a full participant during Friday's practice, and while he will for sure spend the first two games of the Nets playoff series against the Hawks on the sidelines, there's a chance he enters the rotation after that. He's been out since January 22, so even if he is able to return, it'll likely be in a very limited capacity. He could potentially take away some minutes from Bojan Bogdanovic when he is able to return to the rotation.

The Nets released a statement on Wednesday saying that Mirza Teletovic (lungs) will make a full recovery.

He obviously won't play again this season, but this is fantastic news and hopefully this means we will see him back out on the court soon. Teletovic is flying home to New York on Wednesday, and we will continue to track his progress every step of the way. Expect Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic and Brook Lopez to see some extra minutes for the foreseeable future.

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) was released from the hospital on Wednesday and will now fly home to New York.

His playing career is still up in the air, so we can only hope that we will see him back in the NBA soon. We will track his progress very closely as he recovers from this ailment, and we with him all the best. Teletovic's minutes will be soaked up by Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic and Brook Lopez.

Mirza Teletovic (blood clots in lungs) will need to be driven across the US back to Brooklyn after being discharged from an LA hospital, as it is too dangerous for him to fly.

Teletovic is set to miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season, and we wish him the best in his recovery. It's not clear exactly how long Teletovic will be unable to fly, but if this is a long-term thing, it could put his career in jeopardy. Teletovic's reserve minutes will likely fall to guys like Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Brook Lopez.

Mirza Teletovic will miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs.

Teletovic pulled himself from Thursday's game due to shortness of breath and subsequent testing revealed that he's suffering from bilateral pulmonary embolus. He'll stay at a hospital in L.A. for further tests and to begin treatment, which includes blood-thinners, and will return to Brooklyn once doctors clear him to travel. His absence should lead to more playing time for backup forwards Cory Jefferson and Bojan Bogdanovic.

Mirza Teletovic tweeted that "now everything is ok" following Thursday's game.

He had a shortness of breath on Thursday and had to go to the hospital. It's still unclear if he's going to miss time and the Nets will likely provide another update on Friday. Teletovic has cooled off and is not worth owning in standard leagues.
Jan 23 - 3:13 AM

Mirza Teletovic was taken to the hospital on Thursday due to shortness of breath.

He changed into his street clothes and this is still a developing story. There was no indication of what's exactly wrong with Teletovic and hopefully he's going to be able to play this weekend.
Jan 22 - 11:59 PM

Mirza Teletovic came off the bench for 12 points, six rebounds and four 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting in just 19 minutes on Wednesday.

He got some extra run with Kevin Garnett suspended, and while we like his game, he just isn't getting enough run to make a fantasy impact right now.
Jan 14 - 11:34 PM

Mirza Teletovic scored two points with two rebounds in nine minutes against the Rockets on Monday.

He's struggling big time. In his previous 10 games, Teletovic made just 27.8 percent from the field and that's why coach Lionel Hollins have him a short leash. His owners can press the panic button and cut him if there is a desirable option out there in deep leagues.
Jan 12 - 10:00 PM

Mirza Teletovic slid into Brooklyn's starting lineup to start the third quarter of Tuesday's game, which he finished with five points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes.

Teletovic shot 1-of-9 from the field, including a 1-of-6 mark from deep, and his line would have looked much better if his shots had fallen. Kevin Garnett is likely to return as a starter vs. the Magic on Friday, however, so owners should take a wait-and-see approach with Teletovic.
Tue, Dec 30, 2014 11:22:00 PM

Mirza Teletovic hit three 3-pointers in Monday's win over the Kings, finishing with 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting, seven rebounds and one block in 29 minutes.

Teletovic hasn't been able to get the minutes he needs or hit the shots he needs to hit to be a season-long 12-team asset in standard leagues. But he's a guy to watch closely in case the older and injury-prone guys he plays with start to go down.
Mon, Dec 29, 2014 11:22:00 PM

Mirza Teletovic has shot just 39.8 percent since the beginning of November.

More worrisome are Teletovic's numbers from behind the arc, where he's checked in at 31.2 percent in November and 31.3 percent so far in December. The Nets are a mess in almost every facet right now, but Teletovic's struggles have limited Lionel Hollins' options as there isn't really another stretch four on the roster.
Mon, Dec 29, 2014 12:22:00 PM

Mirza Teletovic missed both of his field goal attempts and did not score on Friday, finishing with just three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 17 minutes.

Teletovic hit four triples on Wednesday and this is life with a streaky 3-point shooting big man. He has very low-end value over 23.4 mpg in 12-team standard leagues this season, but with the age and durability of the guys in front of him being an issue he stands a good chance of improving on that mark as he gets more playing time.
Sat, Dec 20, 2014 12:22:00 AM

Mirza Teletovic started on Wednesday and hit 5-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers for 14 points, three rebounds and two assists in a loss to Toronto.

Kevin Garnett got the night off and Sergey Karasev was out with an injury, so Teletovic got the start. He's probably worth owning in most leagues for his 3-point prowess, but he's been very inconsistent all season. He also recently missed three straight games with a hip injury and had just five points in his return on Tuesday, and could be headed back to the bench with Garnett slated to return for the next one.
