Mirza Teletovic delivered on Saturday against the Spurs with 22 points, eight rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
He started for Kevin Garnett (rest) and was all his fantasy owners could ask for. Garnett will likely sit later on this year and Teletovic was already putting up solid value, so he's worth owning in standard leagues. Nov 23 - 1:43 AM

Date:

Mirza Teletovic will start in place of Kevin Garnett on Saturday against the Spurs.

This was an expected move as Mirza picks up a lot of the power forward minutes, especially late in the game. He should have some extra minutes and shots go his way, so he's a sneaky player to use in daily leagues as well as a streamer in year-long formats.
Nov 22 - 7:06 PM

Mirza Teletovic scored 13 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 6-of-12 shots (including a three) with seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 28 minutes.

Teletovic is returning top 90-115 value (9/8 cat) on the year, averaging 10.8 points with 1.9 treys, 4.8 boards and a 45.6 percent mark from the field. That's easily enough production to be owned in all standard formats, though owners should expect for him to be streaky.
Nov 21 - 11:54 PM

Mirza Teletovic had another awful game on Saturday, making 1-of-7 from the field for two points with four rebounds, one assist and no turnovers.

He committed four fouls and is now 1-of-11 from the field in his last two games. Teletovic was on fire to start the season, so his owners should try to stick with him for one more game. That said, he's not must-own material.
Nov 16 - 2:18 AM

Mirza Teletovic missed all four shots from the field against the Warriors on Thursday with four rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover.

Ouch. Among players taken outside of 100 in drafts, Teletovic might have been one of the hottest properties out there. His fantasy owners shouldn't make a hasty cut unless they have a serious surplus in treys.
Nov 14 - 1:33 AM

Mirza Teletovic finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday.

He's been a great closer for the Nets after pumping in a ton of triples in the fourth quarter last season. Teletovic has been a top-40 player so far this season and there's really no reason he should be sitting on any standard league waiver wires.
Nov 13 - 12:59 AM

Mirza Teletovic scored 18 points off the bench against the Knicks on Friday with three rebounds and two 3-pointers.

He shot 6-of-10 from the field to give him an effective field goal percentage of 80.0 tonight, and he's also sitting at 71.6 on the year. Teletovic has 3.0 triples per game this season and is basically a middle-class man's Ryan Anderson. He is worth owning in standard leagues.
Nov 8 - 1:44 AM

Mirza Teletovic played 21 minutes off the bench and hit 3-of-8 shots for nine points, six rebounds, a block and three 3-pointers.

He's not exactly killing it on a nightly basis, but he is hitting 3-pointers and playing fairly well. He's averaging 12.25 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 2.75 3-pointers in his four games, which means he should probably be owned in your league.
Nov 5 - 11:31 PM

Mirza Teletovic scored a team-high 20 points during Wednesday's ugly 121-105 loss to the Celtics to go with six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and four 3-pointers.

He was 8-of-11 from the field for an extremely efficient line. Teletovic poured in the treys in the fourth quarter last year and should get an even bigger opportunity. He's worth owning in standard leagues, especially while Brook Lopez (foot) is out.
Oct 29 - 10:54 PM

Mirza Teletovic (ankle) went through a full practice on Monday.

Teletovic is wearing a brace on his ankle, but he practiced in full and is not in danger of missing Wednesday's opening night. If you need triples at the back end of your draft, look in Teletovic's direction.
Oct 27 - 1:01 PM

Mirza Teletovic has a sprained ankle and was not a participant during Sunday's practice.

With the Nets' regular-season opener just three days away, Teletovic is in jeopardy of missing opening night, but the injury is not considered serious. He's a great cheap source of 3-pointers, and we like him as a sleeper pick in standard leagues.
Oct 26 - 11:43 AM

Mirza Teletovic hit 5-of-10 shots and three more 3-pointers for 15 points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block in 24 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.

Bojan Bogdanovic appears to be the starter, but Teletovic should have plenty of lines like this one off the Nets bench. And if BB struggles, Teletovic could be called on to start at any time.
Oct 22 - 10:20 PM

Mirza Teletovic had the green light again on Monday with 10 attempts from beyond the arc against the 76ers, making three of them for nine points with 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

He missed all five of his shots inside the arc in this one. Teletovic had 2.8 triples per game in the preseason and he'll have a legitimate chance to make that many while Brook Lopez (foot) is out. He's a sneaky late-round pick for owners who neglected 3-pointers.
Oct 20 - 11:24 PM

Coach Lionel Hollins said Mirza Teletovic would start in place of Brook Lopez (foot).

He's been on fire in the preseason and was one of the top 3-point shooters in the fourth quarter last season. Teletovic is going to benefit greatly from the Lopez injury and is well worth a look at the end of a standard draft.
Oct 17 - 1:53 PM

The Nets won in OT on Wednesday thanks to Mirza Teletovic's shooting display, as he scored a team-high 22 points on 7-of-12 FGs, including 6-of-9 from downtown.

Teletovic added four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in just 27 minutes of action. He's expected to come off the bench behind Kevin Garnett at PF, but KG's minute-limit and Teletovic's sheer upside for 3-pointers make him a player to target in the final rounds.
