Mirza Teletovic will play for the Bosnian National Team at EuroBasket this summer.

Teletovic's was forced to miss much of the 2014-15 season after an injury scare with blood clots in his lungs, but he was able to return in a limited capacity for the playoffs. Teletovic will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he has said that he would like to remain in Brooklyn. His role with the Nets will be dictated by whether or not Thaddeus Young can be retained, but if Young is back with in Brooklyn next season, Teletovic will have a limited role with the club and he won't be much more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues.

Mirza Teletovic said at a press conference in Bosnia that he would like to remain with the Nets next season.

Teletovic will be a restricted free agent this offseason, and it'll be interesting to see what kind of salary he can command on the open market. He's a quality stretch-four, which is a valuable asset in today's NBA, but his 3-point shooting is really the only thing he brings to the stat sheet. He’s unlikely to be anything more than a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, regardless of where he winds up.

The Nets will extend a qualifying offer to Mirza Teletovic, making him a restricted free agent this summer.

Nets general manager Billy King said that the market will dictate whether or not they will be able to keep Teletovic, so there is no guarantee that we will see him back in Brooklyn next season. Teletovic should garner plenty of interest from other teams for his ability to space the floor, so it will be interesting to see what happens this summer. As of right now, Teletovic won't be a target in standard fantasy leagues.

Mirza Teletovic said he'll leave his future up to his agent.

Teletovic will be an unrestricted free agent if the Nets don't extend a qualifying contract offer, but that seems unlikely. After returning from blood clots on his lungs this season, Teletovic's future in Brooklyn is a question mark.

Mirza Teletovic played four minutes in his return to action on Wednesday.

He missed both attempts from the field and looked a bit out of sorts. Coach Lionel Hollins even said Mirza forgot some of the plays. He's unlikely to get significant run in the playoffs, but it's still great to see him back after some concern with his lung issue.
Apr 22 - 9:44 PM

Mirza Teletovic is active for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

There has been nothing clear on his status and if he will actually play. Teletovic has been cleared since last week and went through practice on Friday. Unless the Nets really need 3-pointers to catch up, he's not going to play much tonight.
Apr 22 - 6:05 PM

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) is being listed as probable for Game 2 against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Teletovic had earlier been ruled out for Game 2, but after going through a full practice on Monday, it sounds like he's going to try to give it a go on Wednesday. He's likely to have his minutes held in check, as he hasn't seen any game-time action since January 22, so he's not going to be a strong fantasy play. His minutes will likely come at the expense of Earl Clark.
Apr 21 - 2:11 PM

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) went through practice on Monday.

He is still very unlikely to play on Wednesday, but this is fantastic news. Teletovic has been practicing since Friday and he's cleared to play in games. If he does play, he'll likely take some minutes away from Mason Plumlee or maybe Markel Brown with the Nets tweaking their rotation.
Apr 20 - 2:36 PM

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) has been cleared for basketball activities, but he will remain sidelined for Games 1 and 2 of the first round of the playoffs.

Teletovic was a full participant during Friday's practice, and while he will for sure spend the first two games of the Nets playoff series against the Hawks on the sidelines, there's a chance he enters the rotation after that. He's been out since January 22, so even if he is able to return, it'll likely be in a very limited capacity. He could potentially take away some minutes from Bojan Bogdanovic when he is able to return to the rotation.
Apr 17 - 12:54 PM

The Nets released a statement on Wednesday saying that Mirza Teletovic (lungs) will make a full recovery.

He obviously won't play again this season, but this is fantastic news and hopefully this means we will see him back out on the court soon. Teletovic is flying home to New York on Wednesday, and we will continue to track his progress every step of the way. Expect Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic and Brook Lopez to see some extra minutes for the foreseeable future.

Mirza Teletovic (lungs) was released from the hospital on Wednesday and will now fly home to New York.

His playing career is still up in the air, so we can only hope that we will see him back in the NBA soon. We will track his progress very closely as he recovers from this ailment, and we with him all the best. Teletovic's minutes will be soaked up by Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic and Brook Lopez.

Mirza Teletovic (blood clots in lungs) will need to be driven across the US back to Brooklyn after being discharged from an LA hospital, as it is too dangerous for him to fly.

Teletovic is set to miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season, and we wish him the best in his recovery. It's not clear exactly how long Teletovic will be unable to fly, but if this is a long-term thing, it could put his career in jeopardy. Teletovic's reserve minutes will likely fall to guys like Cory Jefferson, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Brook Lopez.

Mirza Teletovic will miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs.

Teletovic pulled himself from Thursday's game due to shortness of breath and subsequent testing revealed that he's suffering from bilateral pulmonary embolus. He'll stay at a hospital in L.A. for further tests and to begin treatment, which includes blood-thinners, and will return to Brooklyn once doctors clear him to travel. His absence should lead to more playing time for backup forwards Cory Jefferson and Bojan Bogdanovic.

Mirza Teletovic tweeted that "now everything is ok" following Thursday's game.

He had a shortness of breath on Thursday and had to go to the hospital. It's still unclear if he's going to miss time and the Nets will likely provide another update on Friday. Teletovic has cooled off and is not worth owning in standard leagues.
