Jared Cunningham started for the Cavs on Wednesday, but he was benched at halftime and finished with six points on 2-of-10 shooting, two 3-pointers, three boards and two assists in 21 minutes.
Matthew Dellavedova (leg) was out and Mo Williams (ankle) was on a minute-limit, so Cunningham was the healthiest option for coach David Blatt. He didn't have to orchestrate the offense with LeBron James and J.R. Smith on the court, taking pressure off him in his second NBA start, but he still looked out of his depth. Delly and Mo are both day-to-day, so there's no reason to grab Cunningham. Nov 25 - 11:08 PM

Jared Cunningham will start Wednesday's game against the Raptors, and Mo Williams (ankle) will come off the bench.

Coach David Blatt wants to monitor Mo Williams' minutes in his first game back following a three-game absence with an ankle injury, and with Matthew Dellavedova (calf) out, Cunningham became Blatt's only solution for keeping Mo's minutes down. Cunningham put up a goose egg during his last start, so he's too risky to deploy in daily leagues.
Nov 25 - 7:29 PM

Jared Cunningham was spotted wearing a starter's jersey at shootaround in advance of Cleveland's game vs. the Magic on Monday.

David Blatt talked about Matthew Dellavedova dealing with an unspecified ankle injury, and with Mo Williams (right ankle/leg) doubtful, Cunningham would be the next man up. However, Delly is expected to play, so Cunningham is going to have a tough time carving out value regardless of his role on Monday.

Jared Cunningham started at shooting guard for the Cavs on Friday, but missed the only shot he took and managed just one rebound, one assist and one steal in his 20 minutes.

LeBron appears to have taken a liking to Cunningham and his athleticism is very impressive, but we need to see some regular season production before advising a pickup in any format.
Nov 6 - 11:25 PM

Jared Cunningham will enter the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with the 76ers, sending Richard Jefferson to the bench.

Cunningham hasn't done much up to this point in his career, but with a favorable matchup against the 76ers, he's worth considering as a punt play in daily leagues. Jefferson's return to the bench renders him a non-option in most leagues.
Nov 6 - 7:17 PM

Jared Cunningham was running with the starters on Friday morning while Richard Jefferson was in a bench practice jersey.

Jefferson started for J.R. Smith (knee) on Wednesday against the Knicks, but it sounds like Cunningham could get the nod on Friday against the 76ers. If that is the case, Cunningham would be worth a look as a cheap plug-and-play option in DFS. Smith could return as soon as Sunday's game vs. the Pacers, so Cunningham likely won't have any season-long value.
Nov 6 - 11:27 AM

Jared Cunningham has made the Cavaliers' final roster.

Cunningham played fantastic in the preseason and definitely earned his spot, but he isn't expected to be in the rotation. He can be ignored in fantasy leagues until further notice.
Oct 24 - 1:18 PM

Cavaliers head coach David Blatt was impressed by Jared Cunningham on Thursday.

"I thought without question Jared sort of separated himself tonight,"Blatt said on Thursday. "He was exceptional. That's what the opportunities are for, you know. You get a chance, you grab it and he made good use of it." Cunningham went off against the 76ers with 31 points, four rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, and it's possible that he could earn the final roster spot for the Cavaliers if he keeps it up. To be clear, Cunningham still isn't on the fantasy radar.
Oct 9 - 9:33 AM

Jared Cunningham exploded against the 76ers with 31 points, four rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers on 8-of-10 from the field and 13-of-16 from the line.

He attacked the basket and had a nice jam in traffic. Cunningham is going to have a tough time making the team, but maybe this game will get the attention of the 76ers if he's released.
Oct 8 - 10:04 PM

Jared Cunningham has reportedly agreed to a training camp deal with the Cavaliers.

Cunningham isn't a lock to make the regular-season roster in Cleveland, but even if he does, he won't be a relevant name in fantasy hoops.
Aug 16 - 4:37 PM

Sixers waive G Jared Cunningham.

Coach Brett Brown confirmed the team added him for financial reasons. With the 76ers reportedly in talks to deal Tony Wroten, the next point guard they add will have low-end fantasy value in deep leagues. Maybe they sign Cunningham to a 10-day at some point.
Jan 7 - 5:30 PM

The Clippers have traded Jared Cunningham to the 76ers, and the 76ers are expected to waive him.

He's most famous for being crossed-over by Eric Bledsoe so badly that he was in the stands, but Cunningham does have some athleticism. He's only played 4.9 minutes per game in his career and made only 35.3 percent from the field, so it's hard to be too bullish on him. Unless the 76ers move some guys around and keep him, he's unlikely to get significant minutes.
Jan 7 - 2:39 PM

The Clippers are expected to waive Jared Cunningham.

This likely move comes as no surprise as Cunningham has only played 12 totals minutes over the Clips' last five games. Cunningham shouldn't be owned in any fantasy leagues, but he can be safely dropped by anyone who took a flier on the 23-year-old.
Jan 6 - 1:54 PM

Jared Cunningham will see some minutes as the backup point guard on Saturday, as Jordan Farmar won't play as he deals with back spasms.

Farmar is only averaging around 15 minutes per game, so Cunningham won't see enough time to be relevant in almost any league. You can safely leave both players on the waiver wire.

Clippers training-camp invitee Jared Cunningham scored a team-high 23 points in Tuesday's exhibition, hitting 6-of-15 FGs and 9-of-12 FTs with a pair of 3-pointers.

He also had three rebounds, three assists and one steal, but can expect to get an earful from Doc Rivers about his six turnovers. Cunningham is fighting for a roster spot and although this helps his odds considerably, it doesn't make him relevant for fantasy purposes.
