Heat sign C Justin Hamilton.

He was a D-League All-Star and is putting up some decent numbers. Hamilton averaged 19.3 points, 9.2 boards and 2.0 blocks in his 37 games with the Sioux Falls Sky Force. He has no fantasy value. The deal is through the rest of the season.

Bobcats sign C Justin Hamilton.

Hamilton has been playing with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the D-League and will sign a 10-day contract to take the roster spot created by Ben Gordon's release. He's averaging 19.3 points and 9.3 rebounds with the Skyforce, but Hamilton will have trouble finding minutes in the NBA and can be safely left on waiver wires.

The Bobcats plan to sign center Justin Hamilton to a 10-day contract on Tuesday according to sources of Yahoo Sports.

Hamilton was drafted in the second round of the 2012 draft by the Miami Heat, and he has not yet played in any NBA games. While he offers size to an NBA roster, he offers nothing to a fantasy team, leave him on the wire.

The Heat will bring 2012 draft pick Justin Hamilton to training camp.

The former LSU center spent the 2012-13 season playing for the Croatian team Cibona Zagreb, where he averaged 8.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He has an uphill battle to make Miami's regular season roster.

Second-round pick Justin Hamilton has signed with Cibona Zagreb in Europe.

An earlier report indicated Hamilton "could be stashed" in Europe next season, and that's exactly what will wind up happening. His chances of making the final roster were remote at best.

Second-round pick Justin Hamilton "could be stashed" in Europe next season.

Hamilton is on the outside looking in when it comes to making Miami's final roster. He's over his hamstring injury, but Hamilton is more likely to go abroad or play in the D-League than sit at the end of the Heat bench.

Justin Hamilton was at the Heat's summer league shootaround Wednesday morning and is expected to play in the game Wednesday night against Golden State.

Dealing with a hamstring strain, Hamilton - the Heat's second round selection in this year's draft - needs to have a strong Summer League to make the roster with 13 of the team's contracts already guaranteed. He will not have any fantasy value this season.

Justin Hamilton's chances of making the Heat roster are declining due to a hamstring injury.

Hamilton is dealing with a hamstring strain that has kept him out of the first two summer league games for Miami. Considering the Heat already have 13 guaranteed contracts, Hamilton needs to make an impression if he wants to stick around. Jarvis Varnado and Robert Dozier, also members of the Heat summer league team, are both dealing with injuries as well.

The Heat selected LSU C Justin Hamilton with the No. 45 pick.

Hamilton is a legit seven-footer with a soft touch around the basket and a nice mid-range jumper, and Pat Riley said he could head overseas for a few years of experience. His upside is capped by his below-the-rim game.
