Justin Hamilton started at center for the Heat again on Wednesday, but had just two points and one rebound on 1-of-3 shooting in 12 minutes.
The minutes just aren't likely to be there for Hamilton, even with Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts hurting. Dec 18 - 12:52 AM

Justin Hamilton was disappointing in a start on Tuesday, playing just 16 minutes and finishing with three points, two boards and one 3-pointer.

Josh McRoberts (knee) could be done for the season while Chris Bosh (calf) could be sidelined for a while, so the opportunity is there for Hamilton. However, he didn't look comfortable out there and his quad may have been an issue for him. Until he can string together a few good games, owners in standard leagues can look the other way.
Dec 16 - 11:46 PM

Justin Hamilton (quad) is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

The Heat will be without starters Chris Bosh (calf) and Josh McRoberts (knee) so they'll need everything they can get from Hamilton. However, as a starter for Miami this season, Hamilton is averaging just 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds, so he's not a viable option in most leagues despite the starting label.
Dec 16 - 6:18 PM

Justin Hamilton was spotted going through warmups on Tuesday, and he did not look limited by his quad contusion.

This bodes well for his chances to play on Tuesday, and we'll be monitoring the situation closely. With both Chris Bosh (calf) and Josh McRoberts (knee) sidelined, the Heat could really use Hamilton, although he doesn't offer much upside as he's averaging just 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds with the starting unit. Stay tuned.
Dec 16 - 4:52 PM

Justin Hamilton (quad) went through shootaround on Tuesday and is questionable for the Heat's game against the Nets.

Hamilton started on Sunday as the Heat were without Chris Bosh (calf) and Josh McRoberts (knee) and could draw another start on Tuesday if he's able to play. Hamilton had 10 points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 33 minutes on Sunday and could be worth a look in daily league if he's able to play Tuesday night.
Dec 16 - 12:02 PM

Justin Hamilton (quad) is questionable to play on Tuesday against the Nets.

Chris Andersen is expected to come back, so that will at least help Miami in some capacity. Shawne Williams will likely have to step up and start for Miami, as well. Hamilton can be left on the wire unless you're in a deep league.
Dec 15 - 2:26 PM

In his third start of the season on Sunday, Heat center Justin Hamilton had 10 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one turnover in 33 minutes.

Miami was without Josh McRoberts (knee) and Chris Bosh (calf), and neither Udonis Haslem nor Chris Andersen are capable of playing big minutes at center, which all but forced Hamilton into the starting lineup. He's averaging 7.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in his three starts this season, and isn't worth fantasy owners' attention with Bosh day-to-day.
Dec 14 - 9:10 PM

Justin Hamilton started at power forward with Josh McRoberts (knee) out and had four points and seven rebounds on 2-of-5 shooting in 22 minutes.

Shawne Williams came off the bench for nine points, four rebounds, two blocks and five fouls on 3-of-9 shooting, and played 24 minutes. He's still the guy you'll want to use in deep leagues when McBob is out, but his fantasy value has taken a big hit, as McRoberts' injury isn't thought to be serious.
Dec 11 - 2:05 AM

Justin Hamilton is starting in place of Josh McRoberts (knee) on Wednesday.

Interesting. Coach Erik Spoelstra likely wants to keep Shawne Williams in the second unit, so Williams should still get some minutes. Hamilton is not a great option in the vast majority of leagues.
Dec 10 - 9:50 PM

Justin Hamilton (groin/hip) will be "available if needed" for Thursday's game vs. the Clippers.

Hamilton is averaging 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds with the Heat this season, and it sounds like he may not even get off the bench tonight. It'll take more than a few catastrophic injuries to Miami's frontcourt for Hamilton to gain any sort of relevancy in standard leagues, and owners can continue to leave him untouched on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Nov 20 - 6:48 PM

Justin Hamilton (groin/hip) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

Hamilton is averaging 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds through 12 minutes of action the season, so even if he plays, it won't matter for owners in standard leagues.
Nov 14 - 12:17 PM

Justin Hamilton has a slight strain of his hip flexor.

He was getting minutes for the Heat with the team banged up, but he might be out of the rotation upon his return now that Chris Andersen is back. Hamilton has no fantasy value.
Nov 12 - 5:53 PM

Justin Hamilton (groin) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

He wasn't able to practice on Tuesday, and it's unclear when he will suit up again. "Ham was doing more today," coach Spoelstra said. "But he wasn't ready for contact." Owners can safely ignore him in almost all fantasy leagues now that Chris Andersen (ribs) is expected to return on Wednesday.
Nov 12 - 9:44 AM

Justin Hamilton (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

While the Heat will likely get Chris Anderson back on Wednesday, they'll have to go at least another game without Hamilton. With Chris Bosh playing big minutes and Birdman getting healthy, Hamilton doesn't hold much fantasy value upon his eventual return and can be safely left on waiver wires.
Nov 11 - 1:32 PM

Justin Hamilton (groin) is listed as out for Sunday's game.

The Heat could have used his size against Dallas but will be forced to give Chris Bosh all the minutes he can handle Sunday. Hamilton is off the fantasy radar in standard leagues.
