Justin Hamilton will start against the Bulls on Wednesday.
With the Nets very thin up front due to Brook Lopez and a host of others not playing, Hamilton should get plenty of shots as a stretch five. He's worth a look in DFS. Apr 12 - 7:23 PM

Justin Hamilton scored six points with one rebound and two 3-pointers in 17 minutes against the Pistons on Thursday.

Quincy Acy (ankle) is dealing with some soreness and did not play, so Hamilton picked up the backup center minutes. If for some reason the Nets do opt to rest Brook Lopez in the upcoming back-to-back set, Hamilton may be a viable stream of DFS punt.
Mar 30 - 9:56 PM

Justin Hamilton scored 20 points with six rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers against the Wizards on Friday.

It's just his second 20-point game of th season with his first coming back in November. Hamilton likely won't have much value while the Nets are keeping Brook Lopez active.
Mar 24 - 10:09 PM

Justin Hamilton picked up another DNP-CD vs. Atlanta on Wednesday.

Hamilton dealt with an illness last week but his absence from the lineup is strictly the result of coach Kenny Atkinson's rotations. He could surface on the fantasy radar if Brooklyn ultimately shuts down Brook Lopez, but until then he's not worth stashing.
Mar 8 - 10:39 PM

Justin Hamilton was a DNP-CD on Saturday against the Blazers.

He was probable to play, so maybe he is out of the rotation. Quincy Acy has played somewhat well lately, too. Leave Hamilton on the wire in most leagues.
Mar 5 - 1:00 AM

Justin Hamilton (illness) is probable for Saturday against the Blazers.

He missed Friday's game against the Jazz due to his illness. The Nets did not report Hamilton had anything wrong in their morning update on Friday, but added him later to suggest Friday was his first day with the illness. He should be good to go, but obviously it's going to be tough to count on him in the late start tonight. His return should cut into Quincy Acy's playing time.

Mar 4 - 3:28 PM

Justin Hamilton (illness) will not play Friday against the Jazz.

It's the front end of a back-to-back set and the Nets said they had nothing on the injury report this morning, so take that information how you like. With him out, we'll likely see more Quincy Acy and Trevor Booker behind Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brook Lopez. We could see Andrew Nicholson as well.

Mar 3 - 7:32 PM

Justin Hamilton scored eight points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and no turnovers in 19 minutes against the Raptors on Sunday.

With Quincy Acy (ankle) going down today, Hamilton should be looking at a couple extra minutes. Believe it or not, the Nets have actually used Acy as a floor spacer, and he actually led the team in treys on Friday. Still, Hamilton only gets a slight bump and would be looking at around 20 minutes.
Feb 5 - 2:47 PM

Justin Hamilton was a DNP-CD on Friday.

The shift of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to the four has hurt Hamilton quite a bit. He did play 19 minutes in his last game, and he's basically sharing the No. 4-5 big roles with Luis Scola and Quincy Acy. He needs a few thing to happen to have value.
Feb 3 - 10:56 PM

Justin Hamilton scored nine points with seven rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

He will likely be getting most of his minutes at power forward now with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson getting dinged up today. Unless you had Hamilton on your short list, he's not a pickup just yet. Plus, the Nets have rested him this season.
Jan 28 - 11:34 PM

Justin Hamilton got the start against the Cavs on Friday, scoring 12 points with five rebounds, one steal and one block in 23 minutes.

That makes it four starts at center and two starts at power forward for Hamilton on the season. His previous starting numbers have been slightly underwhelming, averaging 6.8 points, 4.0 boards, 1.2 blocks, 0.6 steals and 0.8 treys. This was really a best-case scenario with both Brook Lopez (rest) and Trevor Booker (illness) out. He's not really an add here.
Jan 27 - 11:19 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie, Randy Foye, Bojan Bogdanovic, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Hamilton will start against the Cavs on Friday.

Yep, they're going up against the reigning champs in Cleveland. With Hamilton starting at the five, RHJ is a slight winner with this news and could get 30 minutes in this one, assuming he doesn't foul LeBron James too much. Hamilton will likely split the center minutes with Quincy Acy while Luis Scola could get in the mix.

Jan 27 - 6:40 PM

Justin Hamilton (rest) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.

It's his turn to get the day off in a back-to-back set. With Trevor Booker getting the night off on Friday, he basically slides right back into his old role -- Hamilton played all power forward on Friday. We should see a lot of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the four.
Jan 21 - 5:46 PM

Justin Hamilton played 24 minutes in a start for Trevor Booker (rest) on Friday against the Pelicans, scoring six points with five rebounds and no turnovers.

Somewhat surprisingly, he played 100 percent of his minutes at power forward today. The Nets have played him as a straight center and as a combo big before, so he'll likely get at least some minutes when Brook Lopez gets a night off. Just keep an eye on him for now, especially with the Nets playing Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the four more.
Jan 21 - 12:13 AM

With Trevor Booker (rest) sitting out, Justin Hamilton will start at power forward on Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Hamilton is averaging 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists in his four previous starts this season. Thus, he is a risky DFS play. Luis Scola and Quincy Acy will also likely see additional minutes off the bench with Booker out.
