Kyle O’Quinn scores 12 points with 11 rebounds, four blocks and three assists in Thursday’s win over the Bulls.
O’Quinn played just 16 minutes despite Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) being out, but he was still able to record his fifth double-double of the season and his second consecutive one. It is not surprising to see him be productive in limited time, as he has done it several times before. O’Quinn has some short-term fantasy appeal, if Porzingis misses any more games and on nights when Joakim Noah is resting. Jan 12 - 10:50 PM

Kyle O'Quinn racked up 10 points, 15 rebounds and three assists for his fourth double-double of the season on Wednesday, despite playing just 24 minutes off the bench.

KOQ had a double-double after just 11 minutes on the court, and he rounded out a big evening with two steals, two blocks and some impressive interior defense. It's hard to trust him as a fantasy asset, however, because he hasn't played 20+ minutes in consecutive games since Joakim Noah was out in early December. Let's see what he does on Thursday before burning a transaction on him.
Jan 11 - 10:09 PM

Kyle O'Quinn was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

He shoved Anthony Davis in the back during a layup attempt and injured the Pelicans star in the process. It was a dirty foul and the ejection was warranted. KOQ finished with two points, two rebounds and two blocks in 13 minutes.

Kyle O'Quinn returned from an illness and played 17 minutes on Monday vs. the Magic, finishing with zero points on 0-of-3 shooting with nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

The Knicks actually used some two-center lineups tonight with Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) out, as Joakim Noah (33 minutes) and Willy Hernangomez (17 minutes) both got some decent run. Porzingis will likely return on Wednesday vs. the Bucks, so that limits the fantasy appeal of KOQ. He's had some monster games this season, but he's also had way too many duds.
Jan 2 - 11:31 PM

Kyle O'Quinn (flu-like symptoms) is available for Monday's game vs. the Magic.

Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is out, but it's not clear if KOQ will log any minutes next to Joakim Noah or even Willy Hernangomez. However, KOQ's minutes have been down lately and he's played 13 or less minutes in each of his last three appearances, so fantasy owners should probably look somewhere else for production.

Kyle O'Quinn (flu-like symptoms) will not play against the Rockets on Saturday.

The Knicks are going to need some help big time up front. With O'Quinn and Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) out, we should get a nice dose of Willy Hernangomez at the five behind Joakim Noah, who may also have to play a little more.

Kyle O'Quinn grabbed a career-high 16 boards against the Magic on Thursday, adding 14 points and five blocks in 24 minutes.

Revenge game?! KOQ certainly handled his business against the only other NBA team he's played for. We're also calling him Kyle YO-YO'Quinn these days with all the up-and-down performances and how he's getting put in and out of the lineup. His 24 minutes tonight match his total from the previous two games combined while he's more than doubled his boards (six) and points (six), as well. O'Quinn is kind of annoying, but the way he busts out every once in a while makes him worth owning in competitive leagues. He's basically the Danny Green of centers.

Kyle O'Quinn played just seven minutes off the bench and failed to score in Saturday's loss to the Nuggets.

O'Quinn's minutes have been in a tailspin for two straight games, as he played just 15 minutes on Thursday. He went nuts with 22 points and 14 rebounds on Tuesday, but hasn't done much of anything since. Willy Hernangomez played 28 minutes tonight and had 17 points, 10 boards and two blocks, and if he keeps that up, KOQ is going to suffer. This was easily WH's best game of the season, so O'Quinn might not be dead just yet, but if he doesn't come through next time out, it might be time to cut him loose.

Kyle O'Quinn played just 15 minutes and had five points, seven rebounds and a steal on 2-of-4 shooting.

He was coming off a monster 22-point, 14-rebound game against the Suns on Tuesday, but the Warriors were a bad matchup for him. He also wasn't helped by the blowout factor. KOQ is still averaging 9.0 points and 7.8 rebounds on 59 percent shooting over his last five games, making him worth holding if you are thin at center.

Kyle O'Quinn came off the bench and played through his ankle injury on Tuesday, hitting 9-of-16 shots for a season-high 22 points, a season-high 14 rebounds and a steal.

O'Quinn sat out Sunday's game with his injury, but was fantastic tonight. He's scored in double figures in three of his last four games and is averaging 13 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 blocks while shooting 63 percent over his last four games. With Joakim Noah constantly day-to-day and O'Quinn playing so well, it's time to pick him up.

Kyle O'Quinn (sprained ankle) is available for Tuesday's game vs. the Suns.

He previously said that he believed he would be ready to play and this confirms it. The Knicks are healthy, but KOQ has been playing well and could continue to have some sneaky low-end value.

Kyle O'Quinn (sprained ankle) believes he'll be ready to play vs. the Suns on Tuesday.

O'Quinn was a surprise DNP on Sunday but it sounds like he'll only miss one game with the injury. Willy Hernangomez stepped up nicely in his absence, but O'Quinn's probable return makes him a poor target in DFS tonight.

Kyle O'Quinn (sprained right ankle) won't play vs. the Lakers on Sunday.

The unexpected injury is a tough break for the Knicks as well as O'Quinn's fantasy owners, as he's been playing very well over the past week. His absence means more minutes for Joakim Noah with Willy Hernangomez also stepping up as the Knicks' primary backup center.
Sun, Dec 11, 2016 08:18:00 PM

Kyle O'Quinn scored eight points with 11 rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 20 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

That's two really good games from O'Quinn this month. This wasn't quite as strong as his 20-point explosion on Dec. 3, but the Knicks will take this all day. KOQ is only worth a look in deep leagues.
Sat, Dec 10, 2016 01:36:00 AM

Kyle O'Quinn came off the bench on Wednesday for 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting with seven boards and three assists in just 21 minutes.

In the past four games, including one start for injured Joakim Noah, O'Quinn is averaging 11.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 assists, while hitting 22-of-31 field goals. His minutes are on the rise, which isn't a surprise given how poorly Noah (five points in 15 minutes) has played this season. There are never any guarantees with KOQ, but he's worth a speculative add if you need a big man.
