Kyle O'Quinn scored six points with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 13 minutes against the Spurs on Saturday.
He's basically just Willy Hernagomez's backup right now and the Knicks only rolled with a KOQ-Willy combo for just four minutes combined in the last two games. He can still have some value with 20 minutes, so give him a look if you're in need of an across-the-board big man with low scoring. Although, his value will drop if Carmelo Anthony (knee) returns. Kyle O'Quinn scored four points with seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 22 minutes against the Blazers on Thursday.

The Knicks not having most of their depth up front allowed O'Quinn to get some decent run off the bench. O'Quinn only played 12 minutes combined in his previous two games, so he would need Lance Thomas (hip) and Carmelo Anthony (knee) to miss additional games. KOQ is only worth a speculative look until we know more about how much time Melo is going to miss.
Mar 24 - 12:28 AM

Kyle O'Quinn filled it up off the bench against the Nets on Thursday, scoring a season-high 23 points with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block on Thursday.

Leave it to Kyle Yoyo'Quinn to have a DNP-CD on Tuesday and bust out the next game. Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) not playing in this game explains most of it and Willy Hernangomez also had some foul trouble. With KP not expected to miss many games, KOQ is only a speculative add.
Mar 16 - 10:47 PM

Kyle O'Quinn scored two points with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and no turnovers in 19 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

Since Kristaps Porzingis returned, O'Quinn's playing time and statistical output has fallen off. In those six, he averaged just 5.0 points, 5.8 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.2 steals in 14.9 minutes. In addition, the emergence of Willy Hernangomez has moved KOQ down a peg when the Knicks are healthy. We'll see him have a good game or two at some point, though.
Mar 11 - 8:00 PM

Kyle O'Quinn scored seven points with four rebounds and one block in 17 minutes against the 76ers on Friday.

He actually wasn't chalk in DFS, but he flopped again. The Knicks hinted that they will be playing Kristaps Porzingis more at the five, which spells trouble for O'Quinn once Willy Hernangomez is back. He will likely trend down soon.
Mar 3 - 10:44 PM

Kyle O'Quinn unexpectedly came off the bench vs. Orlando on Wednesday, posting four points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block in 19 minutes.

Willy Hernangomez was out with an ankle injury, and Joakim Noah (knee) is out of the picture entirely, but it was Kristaps Porzingis who got the starting nod tonight. All O'Quinn needs is reliable playing time to be a fantasy factor, and even with Hernangomez healthy he should get minutes in the low to mid-20s most nights. He's a viable option if you need a cheap big man.
Mar 1 - 10:07 PM

Kyle O'Quinn will not start vs. the Magic on Wednesday, as was previously reported.

Kristaps Porzingis will start at center tonight, in the absence of Willy Hernangomez (ankle), and the last-minute switch is a severe disappointment for anyone who rolled out KOQ tonight. He should still get solid playing time as the primary backup big man, however, so it shouldn't be a total wash.

Kyle O'Quinn will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic, with Willy Hernangomez (ankle) unavailable.

With Marshall Plumlee as the only other healthy center on the roster for Wednesday's game, there's a chance O'Quinn could flirt with minutes in the 30s tonight, so he's certainly someone to consider as a streamer or low-budget DFS play. Kristaps Porzingis could also spend some time at the five, so he too figures to see heavy minutes with Joakim Noah (knee) and Hernangomez out.
Mar 1 - 11:00 AM

Kyle O'Quinn will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic if Willy Hernangomez (ankle) is unavailable.

Joakim Noah (knee) is likely done for the season, and if Hernangomez can't give it a go on Wednesday, O'Quinn could be forced into heavy minutes as the last man standing amongst the New York centers. With a favorable matchup against Orlando, O'Quinn will be someone to consider throwing out there as a streamer or low-budget DFS option on Wednesday night, assuming Hernangomez is out.

Kyle O'Quinn played 15 minutes on Monday vs. the Raptors, finishing with four points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks.

Foul trouble has been an issue all season and he picked up three fouls in 15 minutes in this one. Regardless, KOQ's outlook is promising with Joakim Noah (knee surgery) expected to miss the rest of the season, so if you can put up with some bumps in the road, KOQ has enough upside to warrant a roster spot in standard leagues. He scored nine points with five rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks in 25 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.
Feb 27 - 10:58 PM

Kyle O'Quinn scored nine points with five rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks in 25 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

A 4x5 will work for KOQ. Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) and Joakim Noah (hamstring) did not play in this game while Willy Hernangomez was in some foul trouble, so it was a perfect storm for O'Quinn. We've seen about a dozen big games from him this year, but he can fall off faster than just about anyone. If you want to add him, just remember you might be dropping him after his next game.
Feb 25 - 10:54 PM

Updating a previous report, the Knicks will start Lance Thomas in place of Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles).

The Knicks listed Kyle O'Quinn as the starter initially, but they changed their mind right before tip-off. KOQ is still expected to get decent burn against Philly, but he's a volatile fantasy option with a high ceiling and very low floor.
Feb 25 - 7:45 PM

The Knicks will start Carmelo Anthony, Willy Hernangomez, Kyle O'Quinn, Derrick Rose and Courtney Lee against the 76ers on Saturday.

The Knicks will go bigger against the 76ers, which is interesting against a guy like Dario Saric at the four. O'Quinn will be worth a look in the short term, but he's as unpredictable as they come.
Feb 25 - 7:05 PM

Kyle O'Quinn scored four points with 10 rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 19 minutes against the Cavs on Thursday.

With Joakim Noah (hamstring) still on the shelf and Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) getting hurt today, O'Quinn may have to play minutes in the 20s until those guys can come back. He is as inconsistent as they come and coming off the bench won't help, but KOQ is worth a look for anyone needing a big man with defensive stats in the short term.
Feb 23 - 11:33 PM

The Knicks are looking to get a first round pick for Kyle O'Quinn, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

The trade market for centers is somewhat saturated, so that's a steep price on KOQ. He has $8.3 million over the next two years, so his deal is more cap friendly than a guy like Brook Lopez. A trade would likely hurt his fantasy value.
