Feb 4 - 2:00 PM

Jan 28 - 7:46 PM

The Warriors have sent Ognjen Kuzmic back to the D-League.

The 24-year-old has played just four minutes over the Warriors' last five games, so this move comes as no surprise. He shouldn't have been on any fantasy rosters prior to this news, so fantasy owners can continue to safely ignore Kuzmic.

Warriors C Ognjen Kuzmic had eight points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block as a starter with Andrew Bogut (illness) unavailable on Tuesday.

He did his damage in just 27 minutes, and it was an impressive showing for the 24 year old considering he was matched up with DeAndre Jordan. Kuzmic's solid preseason may have earned him a spot in Steve Kerr's rotation, but it hasn't made him a viable fantasy option.

Ognjen Kuzmic will start at center on Thursday next to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green.

Andrew Bogut has the night off and Kuzmic will get some extra action. He has turned the ball over a lot and is certainly rough around the edges.

Warriors reserve center Ognjen Kuzmic suffered a stress fracture in his left leg, and he's expected to be sidelined for around four weeks.

The injury will force Kuzmic to miss the 2014 FIBA World Cup, but he'll have plenty of time to recover for training camp. Kuzmic's stats through 21 games last season are mostly on the right side of the decimal point, with the only whole number being 1.0 rebound per game. Needless to say, he is not a fantasy option in any league.

Warriors scouting director Larry Riley recently admitted that 2012 draft pick Ognjen Kuzmic still has "some development to do."

"Kuzmic is long," Riley said, in an attempt to put a positive spin on the situation. Warriors co-owner Joe Lacob was a bit more optimistic, saying, "We can never have too many big guys ... We’re developing yet another one on our roster in Mr. Kuzmic." Even if he does carve out a small role off the bench behind Andrew Bogut next season, there's no reason to glance at Kuzmic on draft day.
