Marcus Denmon will play in Turkey next season with Tofas Bursa.

He played in France last year and came back to the US for Las Vegas Summer League. Denmon looked good with the Spurs in Vegas and wasn't bashful about taking 3-pointers. In his last three games in summer league, he took 21 3-pointers and made nine of them. He's a little undersized as a 6'3" shooting guard, so he's not likely to be a factor for the Spurs in the coming seasons.

Marcus Denmon, who is currently playing in France after being drafted by the Spurs this year, will undergo foot surgery.

It will involve Denmon getting a screw inserted into his foot in order to strengthen the area and avoid further injury. The initial injury happened about two weeks ago. The Spurs had previously said they'd keep a "close eye" on his development, and he's expected to to return stateside for the surgery.

The Spurs will keep a "close eye" on Marcus Denmon.

Denmon was the No. 59 overall pick of the 2012 draft, and although he signed abroad for the upcoming season, the Spurs will watch how he develops in France and could look to bring him to the team in the future.

Rookie Marcus Denmon has impressed Spurs summer league coach Jacque Vaughn.

"He hasn't tried to do too much, but has done enough," Vaughn said. "Which is a lot harder for guys to understand, especially when you're fighting for a job. The best part is he competes." Denmon was the No. 59 overall pick in the draft and is expected to spend a lot of time in the D-League if he sticks with the Spurs.

The Spurs selected Missouri combo guard Marcus Denmon with the 59th pick of the draft.

He averaged nearly 18 points and five boards per game as a senior and Gregg Popovich probably loves the fact that he's got experience. He's undersized at just 6'3" and less than 200 pounds, but he can shoot and score, and something tells us the Spurs will find a way to work him onto the roster next season.
