Robbie Hummel signed a one-year deal with Olimpia Milano on Thursday.
His deal doesn't include an NBA opt-out clause, so we won't be seeing him in the states next season. Hummel could find his way back into the NBA after next season, but it's safe to ignore him in all fantasy leagues for now. Fri, Jul 31, 2015 10:02:00 AM

Robbie Hummel will reportedly join Olimpia Milano of Italy.

Olimpia Milano has reportedly reached an agreement with a power forward that will round out their roster and sources say that Hummel is that power forward. The 26-year-old played 45 games with the Timberwolves last season but will now take his talents overseas after Minnesota rescinded his qualifying offer. While Hummel may find himself back in the NBA at some point in the future, he can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

The Nuggets and Blazers have shown a lot of interest in free agent forward Robbie Hummel.

The Wolves reportedly withdrew their qualifying offer to Hummel last week, so he is an unrestricted free agent. It doesn't look like the Wolves are too eager to bring him back, so we could very well see him in a different uniform next season. Regardless of where he lands, Hummel won't be on the fantasy radar.

The Wolves may have withdrawn the qualifying offer from Robbie Hummel.

With the Wolves picking up Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica, they aren't going to need Hummel as much. He did start four games last season, averaging 6.0 points, 4.8 boards, 0.4 blocks and 0.6 treys. Some other team may look to add Hummel as emergency depth.

The Wolves have extended a qualifying offer to Robbie Hummel, making him a restricted free agent this summer.

Hummel missed 29 games towards the end of the season due to a broken hand, but he did step up when the Wolves were decimated by injuries. Hummel will have a very tough time finding consistent minutes if he does end up staying in Minnesota, and owners in fantasy leagues can continue to ignore him until further notice.

Robbie Hummel (back) returned to action and double-doubled with 11 points and 10 rebounds over 33 minutes in Monday's loss.

Hummel also hit a three and had two assists to round out this line. The Wolves were down to six healthy players by the end of the game and it wouldn't be surprising if he got a big workload on Wednesday.

Robbie Hummel (back) will try to play against the Pelicans on Monday.

The Wolves will need him with Kevin Martin out. Expect Hummel to play around 24 minutes tonight, which puts him on the radar in deep leagues.

Robbie Hummel (back) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Even if available, there are no guarantees that Hummel leaves the bench, and it's safe to leave him on the wire in nearly all leagues.

Robbie Hummel (back) was in uniform for Saturday's game vs. the Warriors, but he never left the bench.

Hummel warmed up with the team and was hoping to give them a few minutes off the bench, but his back is still giving him a lot of problems and it's not surprising to see the Wolves hold him out. He is listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans, while Chase Budinger and Arinze Onuaku will benefit if Hummel can't give it a go.

Contrary to a previous report, Robbie Hummel (back) will dress and might be able to play a few minutes vs. the Warriors on Saturday.

He was ruled out just a few minutes ago, so this is definitely a surprise. However, the Wolves have been shorthanded for a while now, so they could use all the help they can get. Hummel is still really sore and isn't guaranteed to see many minutes, so owners in most leagues can ignore this. Chase Budinger and Arinze Onuaku will benefit if Hummel doesn't see any action.

Robbie Hummel (back) will not play vs. the Warriors on Saturday night.

He injured his back in a bad fall on Friday night and played through the pain, but he said he is still experiencing soreness and will sit out tonight. Chase Budinger will have even more responsibility off the bench and is a must-own player in standard leagues, while Arinze Onuaku could play more as well.

Robbie Hummel (back) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Saturday.

He took a bad fall on Friday night and was able to play through it. The Wolves have a late game tonight, so we probably won't get word of his status until 8:30 EDT. If he's out, Chase Budinger and Justin Hamilton will have to play more. Anrize Onuaku may also get minutes.

Robbie Hummel (hand) posted six points on 2-of-4 shooting during his return on Sunday, adding one rebound and one assist in 18 minutes of action.

Hummel's return is excellent news for the banged-up Wolves but he's unlikely to make a dent in fantasy leagues. With season averages of 4.2 points, 0.3 triples, 2.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists, it's logical to leave Hummel on the waiver wire.

Robbie Hummel (hand) will be available to play Sunday vs. the Pelicans.

Hummel has been out since Jan. 25 with a broken hand, so he'll more than likely have his minutes limited today. He'll give the Wolves some much-needed backcourt depth, but until he becomes a major part of the rotation, he belongs on the waiver wire in nearly all leagues.

Robbie Hummel (hand) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.

He is hopeful to return this season, but being questionable for Sunday is a little optimistic. He would likely get some forward minutes upon his return, but keep him on the wire in just about all leagues.
