The Spurs could make a run at Pablo Prigioni in free agency during the offseason, according to the New York Daily News.
Prigioni is known to be close with Manu Ginobili, and the rookie passed up a two-year deal from the Knicks in order to take a one-year deal and keep his options open. It doesn't sound like anything more than chatter for now, but it's a reminder Prigioni could spend just one season with the Knicks. May 17 - 9:38 AM

Pablo Prigioni is listed as a starter ahead of Thursday's Game 5.

Coach Mike Woodson came to his senses after starting Kenyon Martin in Game 4 and playing Prigioni just over three minutes in the loss. Prigioni and Raymond Felton should benefit greatly from the absence of Pacers PG George Hill, who won't play Thursday night due to a concussion he suffered in Game 4. The Knicks trail the Pacers 3-1 in the series.
May 16 - 6:37 PM

The Knicks are expected to return to a small-ball lineup for Game 5 that features Pablo Prigioni instead of Kenyon Martin.

In Game 4, the Knicks started Martin over Prigioni to go "big," but the experiment failed. After playing just 3.5 minutes in Game 4, expect Prigioni to play a lot more in Game 5 as the Knicks have their backs against the wall.

Mike Woodson admitted he's considering going back to the starting lineup that features Pablo Prigioni for Game 5 vs. the Pacers.

Prigioni played just 3.5 minutes in a Game 4 loss and Mike Woodson's attempt to go big failed miserably. Woodson should stick with the lineup that proved successful during the regular season, so we wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to Prigioni in place of Kenyon Martin in a must-win Game 5.
May 15 - 1:25 PM

The Knicks have replaced Pablo Prigioni with Kenyon Martin in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 4.

Coach Mike Woodson will start Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony, Martin and Tyson Chandler for the first time in these playoffs. Perhaps it's a bit of a panic move, but it will keep the Knicks bigger and better defensively. It will also keep Anthony from banging with David West. They still have Amare Stoudemire as a big off the bench.

Impending restricted free agent Pablo Prigioni is interested in returning to the Knicks next season.

"He's fallen in love with New York, there's no doubt," said Prigioni's agent. "The Knicks are just a first-class organization, so it's been good all the way around." Prigioni played this season -- his first in the NBA after 17 seasons internationally -- for the veteran's minimum of $473,604. Since he joined the starting five in mid-March, the Knicks are 21-5 (including playoffs).
May 10 - 5:44 PM

Pablo Prigioni said that his ankle is at 75-80 percent following Tuesday's Game 2 win.

He added that he expected to be pain-free on Friday for Game 3. Prigioni played 18 minutes and had one point, one board, five assists and one steal on Tuesday.
Apr 23 - 11:39 PM

Pablo Prigioni (ankle) will start in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Celtics.

Prigioni sat out Game 1 and the Knicks grinded out an 85-78 win. In Game 2, coach Mike Woodson will start Raymond Felton, Prigioni, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler. Chris Copeland will come off the bench. Regardless, Jason Kidd, J.R. Smith and Kenyon Martin will have far greater impacts on the game than Prigioni or Copeland.
Apr 23 - 6:10 PM

Pablo Prigioni (ankle) will start in Tuesday's game 2 vs. Boston barring any setbacks.

This is confirmation of what we knew. Prigioni practiced in full on Monday with the starting group, and unless something completely unexpected happens between now and tipoff with his ankle, he'll be back in the starting lineup. Rookie Chris Copeland, who is nursing a shoulder injury, will move back to the bench.
Apr 23 - 7:50 AM

Pablo Prigioni (ankle) was spotted practicing on Monday in advance of Tuesday's Game 2 and is officially listed as "probable."

Prigioni was running with the starting unit as expected. This lines up with what we heard previously regarding Prigioni's status, and all signs point to the rookie being back in there after sitting out Game 1. Chris Copeland should move back to the bench.
Apr 22 - 1:03 PM

Mike Woodson expects Pablo Prigioni (ankle) to play in Game 2 vs. Boston.

Prigioni missed Saturday's initial game vs. the Celtics because of the ankle injury, but it doesn't sound overly serious. If the rookie point guard is healthy enough to play, he's expected to start and that means Chris Copeland will move back to the bench.
Apr 21 - 8:56 AM

Pablo Prigioni (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's Game 1 against the Celtics.

The move was expected, but Mike Woodson said Prigioni is moving around well and he could've played if it was necessary. Woodson said he feels good about Prigioni's chances to play in Game 2, which isn't until Tuesday. Chris Copeland will start in Prigioni's place Saturday afternoon.
Apr 20 - 1:41 PM

Pablo Prigioni (ankle) is not expected to play in Game 1 vs. the Celtics.

Prigioni was on crutches during Thursday's practice and it would be a shock to see him for Game 1 at this point. Chris Copeland is expected to take Prigioni's spot in the starting five. "Chris has shown that he can start and come off the bench," Woodson said. Jason Kidd is not a candidate to start as Mike Woodson made it clear he needs Kidd off the bench.
Apr 19 - 10:43 AM

Pablo Prigioni (sprained right ankle) left the arena after Wednesday's game on crutches, a source told the New York Post, and the Knicks are officially listing him as questionable for Game 1 against the Celtics on Saturday.

It's not uncommon for a player to use crutches following even a minor ankle sprain, so we're not getting concerned yet. However, Prigioni limped to the locker room and it's unclear what kind of timetable he might be facing to return. If he isn't ready for the postseason, the Knicks will have to figure out a new starting lineup for Game 1 vs. Boston.
Apr 18 - 10:00 AM

Pablo Prigioni suffered a sprained right ankle in the first quarter of Wednesday's game and will not return.

He limped back to the locker room under his own power, but X-rays were negative. Prigioni is expected to remain as a starter in the playoffs, so this could impact their rotation against Boston. The Knicks are running Iman Shumpert at the point tonight and they'll likely go with newly acquired Quentin Richardson a little more tonight.
