Kent Bazemore will come off the bench against the Spurs on Saturday.
Apparently, coach Mike Budenholzer has more confidence in Bazemore as a play maker and will move him to the second unit. He's also coming in off an ankle injury, so this might make it easier on him. Bazemore has been outstanding this season, so he should be owned in standard leagues. Although, his owners might want to be careful tonight on the off chance his minutes are cut. Nov 28 - 7:13 PM

Kent Bazemore returned from a five-game absence on Friday with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

That's a nice return for Bazemore, who was struggling before his ankle sprain last week. He was absolutely rolling earlier this month, so he should probably be owned in all leagues after this solid effort.
Nov 28 - 2:43 AM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will play and start vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

He missed five straight games for the Hawks, but he was playing really well prior to going down and should be picked up in most leagues to see if he can keep it going. Thabo Sefolosha is expected to return to the bench on Friday, while Justin Holiday and Lamar Patterson should lose some minutes as well.
Nov 27 - 1:09 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

This is the first time Bazemore has received the questionable tag since sustaining the ankle injury, so it looks like he's nearing a return to the court. Owners can expect another update following Friday morning's shootaround. Thabo Sefolosha’s value will take a hit upon the return of Bazemore.
Nov 26 - 6:12 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) and Tiago Splitter (hip) will not play against the Wolves on Wednesday.

It'll likely be Thabo Sefolosha in the starting lineup again. Sefolosha is coming off a wonderful 15-point game and the Hawks will likely be using him on Andrew Wiggins a lot. He's certainly in play for DFS tonight, but don't expect a repeat performance. Lamar Patterson should get some burn, too.
Nov 25 - 5:37 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

This will be his fourth straight game on the sidelines, and it should be noted that he didn't practice on Monday. Bazemore's ankle is progressing and he said on Saturday that he is taking it "day by day", so hopefully we will see him back on the court later in the week. Thabo Sefolosha will benefit the most with Bazemore out, but Lamar Patterson and Justin Holiday will likely stay in the rotation as well.
Nov 23 - 9:14 PM

Kent Bazemore (right ankle sprain) did not practice on Monday.

Coach Mike Budenholzer said that he would know more on Bazemore Tuesday's status closer to gametime vs. Boston, so that is at least a positive indication that Bazemore is progressing. If he can't give it a go, Thabo Sefolosha, Lamar Patterson and Justin Holiday will help to fill the void.

Kent Bazemore (ankle) said in an interview during the Hawks broadcast that he is "taking it day by day" to get over his ankle injury.

Bazemore was getting in some work prior to Saturday's game vs. the Cavs and looked good, so his return may not be that far off. The Hawks don't play again until Tuesday vs. the Celtics, so he should be considered questionable for that contest. Justin Holiday, Lamar Patterson and Thabo Sefolosha will stay relevant until Bazemore returns.
Nov 21 - 8:30 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not play on Saturday and said he should return "soon."

This doesn't mean much, but Bazemore likely will miss at least a couple more games. It'll likely be Tiago Splitter in the starting lineup, but the value has been going to Justin Holiday, Lamar Patterson and Thabo Sefolosha.
Nov 21 - 5:55 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not play vs. the Cavaliers on Saturday.

This will be Bazemore's third consecutive game on the shelf and it's a little worrying that they ruled him this early. We know that his ankle injury isn't minor, and timetable hasn't been established for his return. In the meantime, the Hawks will move forward with Justin Holiday, Thabo Sefolosha and Lamar Patterson all contributing on the wings.
Nov 20 - 2:04 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not play against the Kings on Wednesday.

His ankle sprain isn't a minor one and he should miss more games going forward. The Hawks started Tiago Splitter on Tuesday, but he was somewhat useless in 12 minutes. It'll likely be Thabo Sefolsha stepping up.
Nov 18 - 3:45 PM

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not play against the Nets on Tuesday and doesn't have a timetable to return.

The good news is that X-rays were negative. An MRI did confirm he has a sprain, so he could miss more games going forward. His owners will probably want to bench him this week. Thabo Sefolosha should move into the starting lineup while Justin Holiday and Shelvin Mack would get more minutes, too. The Hawks will likely bring Lamar Patterson back up after a D-League stint, too.
Nov 16 - 5:11 PM

Kent Bazemore (right ankle sprain) is expected to be evaluated on Monday.

The Hawks play on Tuesday vs. Brooklyn and Wednesday against the Kings, so it's possible Bazemore could miss both games. Bazemore is averaging 29 minutes this season, so if he is forced to the sidelines, Thabo Sefolosha, Kyle Korver and possibly Justin Holiday will all see more action.
Nov 16 - 9:18 AM

Kent Bazemore suffered a right ankle sprain on Sunday vs. the Jazz and did not return to the game.

There were only a few minutes left in the game, but it didn't look like he would've been able to carry on. Bazemore had to be helped to the locker room and was in obvious pain, so it's possible that the Hawks will run some tests on him after the game. If he does need to miss time, Thabo Sefolosha will have to step up.
Nov 15 - 8:21 PM

Kent Bazemore scored 12 points with two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers against the Celtics on Friday.

It's one of his worst games in the past two weeks, but he is finally starting to trend down now. He had another quiet game with 10 points and no steals, blocks or threes on Wednesday, so it's safe to say his peak is behind him for the season. He's still a hold in all leagues and should be more of a late-round guy going forward.
