Kent Bazemore scored 15 points with four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday.

He's making some money this month. In his six playoff games, Bazemore averaged 14.0 points, 7.0 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 treys. He'll have a huge role in the next round and will likely be starting off on LeBron James. Expect him to play minutes in the mid 30s.
Apr 28 - 11:07 PM

Kent Bazemore scored 16 points to lead the Hawks to a 110-83 win over the Celtics in Game 5 on Tuesday, giving them a 3-2 series lead.

He's the definition of a streaky player, as he needed just 23 minutes to score 16 points tonight after scoring just five points in 40 minutes in Game 4. That inconsistency makes him hard to trust, but the upside is clearly there if you deploy him on the right night. Bazemore added five boards, one block and four 3-pointers on 6-of-14 shooting. He was listed as probable on the injury report due to a lingering knee issue, but he obviously looked fine tonight.
Apr 26 - 11:06 PM

Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer said Kent Bazmore (knee) is feeling good ahead of Game 5 on Tuesday.

Bazemore is listed as probable with a knee injury, but it's nothing that will hold him out of such an important game on Tuesday. Bazemore is averaging 13.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers in the thus far in the playoffs and is a strong DFS play on Tuesday.
Apr 26 - 11:52 AM

Kent Bazemore (knee) is probable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.

He'll be good to go and has been probable for the entire series. Bazemore has been active during the playoffs and should continue to flirt with his postseason averages of 13.3 points, 8.3 boards, 2.3 dimes, 1.3 steals and 1.3 treys.
Apr 25 - 5:13 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday against the Celtics.

He's fine and the Hawks have put him on the injury report in all three games. Bazemore has been very active, so expect him to have another solid effort on the stat sheet in Boston.
Apr 23 - 5:09 PM

Kent Bazemore was active in his 34 minutes against the Celtics on Friday, making 8-of-19 from the field for 20 points with eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

He was forcing a lot of shots and perhaps the Hawks should have got the ball inside to Al Horford, who finished with eight points, 13 rebounds, six assists, two steals and four blocks. Bazemore has been terrific for most of the season with a few cold streaks, and now coach Mike Budenholzer is leaning on him a lot. He'll be a solid DFS play on Sunday.
Apr 22 - 11:01 PM

Kent Bazemore (right knee stiffness) is probable to play in Game 3 on Friday.

Bazemore has not looked limited by the knee injury at all during his first two games, so it would be surprising to see him hit the sidelines on Friday night. Plan on having him available.
Apr 21 - 5:23 PM

Kent Bazemore was held to five points in Game 2 vs. Boston on Tuesday, shooting just 2-of-14 from the field and 1-of-5 from the 3-point line.

He was unstoppable in Game 1 with 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting, but he fell back to earth tonight. Bazemore still played 29 minutes and also added nine rebounds, four assists and two steals, so he gets a pass here.
Apr 19 - 9:57 PM

Kent Bazemore was awesome during a 102-101 win over the Celtics on Saturday, scoring a playoff career-high 23 points with eight rebounds, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

He was one of the best players in this game on both ends. Bazemore's defense was important in this game and he's certainly locked up his minutes in the mid-30s. He also didn't turn the ball over and is the day's only 20-point scorer without a turnover so far. Bazemore can get hot and string games together, so it's fair to have high hopes in Game 2.
Apr 16 - 10:56 PM

Kent Bazemore said on Friday he will guard Avery Bradley.

That means Kyle Korver will be on Jae Crowder. The Hawks defense was the best in the NBA after the break by a wide margin based on defensive rating and some of that has to do with Bazemore.
Apr 15 - 3:02 PM

Kent Bazemore was held to four points on 1-of-7 shooting with eight boards, four assists and two steals vs. the Wizards on Wednesday.

It's a tough way to end the regular season for Bazemore, but he should redeem himself during the postseason. Bazemore made a ton of strides as the starting small forward in Atlanta and returned top-75 value on the season in standard 9-cat leagues. Depending on how he does in the postseason, Bazemore should have a ton of money coming his way during free agency this summer.
Apr 13 - 11:26 PM

Kent Bazemore scored a team-high 23 points during a 109-94 loss to the Cavs on Monday, adding six rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and five 3-pointers.

Well, so much for the knee soreness that kept him out on Thursday. Bazemore went off with 21 points on Saturday and he looks like he could go on a heater in the first round. He was one of the best pickups in standard leagues this year and will likely be coming off the board in the middle rounds next year during his age-27 season.
Apr 11 - 10:17 PM

Kent Bazemore scored 21 points with five rebounds, three assists, two blocks, three steals and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Celtics.

This was an extremely impressive game on both ends for Bazemore. He missed Thursday due to knee soreness and tonight shows that was probably just a precaution. Bazemore wasn't playing very well over his previous 10 with just 8.4 points per game. He has been one of the biggest surprises of the season.
Apr 9 - 10:27 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee) is in the starting lineup against the Celtics on Saturday.

The Hawks have been pretty optimistic about him playing after he rested on Thursday. Bazemore should get minutes in the low 20s tonight, so he's worth using in standard leagues. He's not the strongest DFS target tonight, though.
