Kent Bazemore scored 20 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday.
The Hawks really leaned on him in this game and that'll continue again in the regular season. Bazemore did not play well in the beginning of the year, but post-break he was solid with averages of 11.4 points, 3.1 boards, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.7 blocks and 1.4 treys on 44.1 percent from the field. He should absolutely be able to score in the teens and is well worth a pick in the later rounds of all drafts. Oct 12 - 9:48 PM

Kent Bazemore will not play against the Pistons on Friday.

He looked good on Wednesday with seven points, two boards, one assist, one steal and five turnovers. Bazemore has very little competition for minutes, so he has a great chance to bounce back as the team's No. 2 scorer.
Oct 6 - 5:52 PM

Kent Bazemore said he will focus on improving his jumper and ball handling skills this offseason.

Bazemore saw a slight regression during his second year in Atlanta after signing a four-year deal with them worth $70 million during the 2016 offseason, contributing averages of 11.0 points, 3.2 boards, 2.4 dimes, 1.2 steals, 1.3 triples and 1.7 turnovers per game on 40.9 percent shooting, which was only good enough for 13th round value in standard 9-cat leagues. He won't be worth much more than a last-round flier in next year's drafts.
May 3 - 11:01 AM

Kent Bazemore faded on Wednesday with just six points on 3-of-12 shooting, two boards and two assists in 23 minutes off the bench.

Bazemore had 16 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals on Monday, but he never found a rhythm during Atlanta's road loss tonight. He's shooting 17-of-47 in the series (36.2 percent), and is tough to trust for DFS since he's averaging a modest 24.2 minutes through five games.
Apr 26 - 9:26 PM

Kent Bazemore (right knee bone bruise) scored 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting Sunday, to go with three rebounds, three assists, two 3-pointers, one block and one turnover in 28 minutes.

Bazemore missed seven of Atlanta's final 13 games of the regular season due to the bruised knee, but his right knee was a complete non-issue during this one, and it would be shocking to see him spend any additional time on the sidelines.
Apr 16 - 5:08 PM

Kent Bazemore (right knee bone bruise) will play in Game 1 on Sunday vs. the Wizards.

In case you missed it, Bazemore is going to come off the bench with Tim Hardaway Jr. and Taurean Prince getting the nod in the first unit. He missed seven out of the final 13 games of the regular season because of his knee, and since he's coming off the bench, his minutes will likely be limited to the 20s.
Apr 16 - 11:44 AM

Kent Bazemore (right knee bone bruise) is probable for Game 1 on Sunday vs. the Wizards.

Bazemore is expected to play, but the Hawks are going to bring him off the bench this afternoon -- it's already been confirmed that Tim Hardaway Jr. and Taurean Prince will start on the wings. If his role in April was any indication, Bazemore will likely see minutes in the 20s during this series.
Apr 16 - 9:53 AM

Kent Bazemore (rest) will not play Wednesday vs. the Spurs.

DeAndre Bembry, Mike Dunleavy and Taurean Prince figure to be earning significant minutes on the wings tonight with Bazemore and Tim Hardaway Jr. (rest) unavailable, and Prince could be one of Atlanta's primary scoring options, giving him some potential DFS appeal.

Kent Bazemore (knee) will be available to play Tuesday vs. the Hornets.

He won't start, but Bazemore should see around 20 minutes off the bench. Feel free to get him active.
Apr 11 - 6:58 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee), Malcolm Delaney (back) and Paul Millsap (rest, knee) are probable to play Tuesday vs. Charlotte.

Bazemore's knee was a complete non-issue during Sunday's win over the Cavs, so there's no reason to expect him to miss Tuesday's game. Millsap could be rested during Atlanta's upcoming back-to-back set, but it looks as though he'll be in the clear for Tuesday night. Delaney should good to go, but his minutes will be confined to the teens with Dennis Schroder healthy.
Apr 10 - 5:19 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee, rest) scored 13 points in his return from a one-game absence on Sunday, adding one 3-pointer, two rebounds, four assists, four steals and two turnovers in 30 minutes.

Bazemore went coast-to-coast with a clutch steal with 20 seconds left in overtime, and that final bucket by Bazemore essentially sealed the win for Atlanta. His knee didn't appear to be an issue at all, and prior to the game, head coach Mike Budeholzer wouldn't commit to Tim Hardawar Jr. as his long-term starter, which hints that Bazemore could find himself back in the starting five for Tuesday's game against the Hornets.
Apr 9 - 7:18 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee) will come off the bench on Sunday vs. the Cavaliers.

He was considered probable to play, but with Taurean Prince and Tim Hardaway Jr. playing well, they can keep Bazemore's minutes in check by bringing him off the bench. He's probably looking at 20-25 minutes which makes him a low-end option.
Apr 9 - 2:01 PM

Kent Bazemore (knee) is probable to play against the Cavs on Sunday.

The Hawks have a good problem to have right now with a ton of wing depth. That and limiting Bazemore due to his knee injury last month explain why he's probably only looking at 20-25 minutes on Sunday.
Apr 8 - 4:55 PM

Kent Bazemore will not play against the Cavs on Friday.

After 19 minutes on Thursday, Bazemore is likely getting a night off as a precaution due to his knee injury from last month. The Hawks are gutted on the wing right now, so Taurean Prince should be extremely busy off his career-high 20 points. We should see Mike Dunleavy, DeAndre Bembry and maybe even Ryan Kelly in the rotation. Ersan Ilyasova and Mike Muscala should also be getting some decent run tonight.
Apr 7 - 2:44 PM

Kent Bazemore scored 12 points with three rebounds, two assists, four steals and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday.

He didn't have a hard cap on his minutes, but another limit on his playing time was Taurean Prince. The emergence of Prince has put a damper on Bazemore's fantasy value, but at least he turned in a strong line during the win. He'll be a questionable fantasy asset now that he's less likely to play 30 minutes. Plus, the Hawks may rest him if they have the chance.
