Kent Bazemore (foot) returned to action on Tuesday, going scoreless in six minutes off Atlanta's bench.
"It went well," Bazemore said. "I was a little rusty, my timing was a little off, but you can't really simulate a game. I know it'll take some time." He's not on the fantasy radar as long as Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll are healthy and starting on the wings. Oct 15 - 12:53 PM

Kent Bazemore (foot) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Grizzlies.

Bazemore has been going through 5-on-5 full contact practices, so the team is likely just being cautious here. He will be competing for minutes with the likes of Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll, and Thabo Sefolosha, and that’s not a situation that spells fantasy success. Bazemore isn’t going to be worth drafting in standard leagues.

Kent Bazemore (foot) went through a 5-on-5 full contact practice on Wednesday.

It's a great sign for Bazemore's chances to play in the season opener, but he is still probably going to miss more preseason action. He'll come off the bench behind DeMarre Carroll this season, but may hurt Carroll's fantasy value.

Kent Bazemore (foot) will not play in Monday's preseason exhibition vs. the Pelicans.

Bazemore had foot surgery back in April but the Hawks are taking every precaution after signing him to a two-year contract this summer. Once healthy, he'll be part of a competitive wing rotation that includes Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll and Thabo Sefolosha.

Kent Bazemore (foot) will be brought along slowly in training camp.

He is expected to be ready for the start of the season. Bazemore had season-ending foot surgery back in April and signed a two-year deal in July. He will likely help the second unit on the wing and isn't worth drafting in most fantasy leagues.

Hawks sign G/F Kent Bazemore for two years.

He'll make $2 million per season and is expected to see action at both the SG and SF spots for the Hawks, although it appears he'll come off the bench. How many minutes he'll get will determine his fantasy value, but Bazemore has the potential for big things in Atlanta. Target him as a late sleeper in your drafts.

Kent Bazemore will reportedly sign a two-year, $4 million deal to play for the Hawks.

Bazemore's contract is fully guaranteed and though there are some quality players along the wing with Kyle Korver, and DeMarre Carroll, Thabo Sefolosha and if we're feeling nice John Salmons -- this isn't necessarily a crucial blow to his fantasy value. If he can elbow his way in front of Sefolosha and Salmons, he could be positioned for 20-30 minutes per game.

The Lakers are still hoping to retain unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore.

The Lakers reportedly called Bazemore again Wednesday night to reiterate their desire to re-sign him. Bazemore had a bit of a breakout season in averaging 12.5 points, 1.5 three-pointers, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.3 dimes and 1.2 steals during the month of March and has received interest from the Jazz, Hawks, Celtics, Spurs, and Hornets. The Lakers have their work cut out for them in retaining Bazemore, but even if they don't retain the 25-year-old, it looks sounds as if they're committed to going down in a Baze of Glory
Jul 10 - 11:24 AM

Unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore met with the Hawks in Atlanta on Monday, however, no deal is imminent.

Bazemore has meetings scheduled with San Antonio (Tues), Boston (Wed), and Charlotte (Sat). He reportedly is expected to make a decision by next Sunday or Monday, but he would have the best chance at putting up relevant stats in Boston.
Jul 7 - 6:07 PM

Free agent Kent Bazemore is expected to have a face-to-face meeting with the Hawks on Monday.

He's also expected to meet with the Spurs on Tuesday and the Celtics on Wednesday, and reports that he'd agreed to a deal with the Hawks are incorrect. He's also drawn interest from the Rockets, Jazz, Warriors, Lakers, Suns and Mavericks, and it's too early to conclude that he's ruled those teams out of contention.
Jul 6 - 8:23 PM

Unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore had meetings with the Spurs and Celtics this week and he's also getting interest from the Hawks, Rockets, Jazz, Warriors, Lakers, Suns and Mavericks.

The Lakers didn't send him a qualifying offer and won't have any contractual advantages compared to the other teams. His foot injury is not expected to keep him out long and he could be ready for action this month.
Jul 5 - 6:01 PM

The 76ers have reportedly reached out to unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore.

The move does make a bit of sense as the 76ers currently have a hole at the shooting guard position, and his skill set would mesh well with the young 76ers' roster. Bazemore had a bit of a coming out party upon being sent to the Lakers last season, averaging 13.1 points, 1.3 steals, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.4 three-pointers on 45.1 percent shooting from the floor. Bazemore has also received interest from the Hawks, Spurs, Suns, Celtics, Lakers, and Mavericks, which may drive up his price a bit on the open market.
Jul 4 - 11:49 AM

Unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore has received interest from the Warriors.

He was with the Warriors earlier this season before being sent to the Lakers in the Steve Blake deal. Bazemore sort of came out of nowhere at Las Vegas Summer League with the Warriors last year and the team could wind up bringing him back to come off the bench. For what it's worth, he still lives in the Bay Area.
Jul 3 - 5:29 PM

The Jazz have moved past the preliminary stages of talks with Kent Bazemore, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

McMenamin also added that the sides are not close to a deal, so it doesn't sound like there's anything imminent here. The 25-year-old flashed some potential in averaging 12.5 points, 1.5 three-pointers, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.3 dimes and 1.2 steals during the month of March and has already met with the Jazz as part of the free agency process. Utah could still manage to land Bazemore while the Lakers focus on wooing Carmelo Anthony, but Jazz fans may want to hold off on buying their "Purple Baze" jerseys for now.
Jul 3 - 1:03 PM

Unrestricted free agent Kent Bazemore has been talking to the Jazz about a contract.

The Lakers reportedly want him back, but he's going to be a lower priority for them while they go after big-name free agents. If they're not careful, Bazemore could sign with another team instead of waiting around to see what the Lakers offer.
