Victor Oladipo drained 9-of-13 shots during Sunday's win over the Hawks, on his way to 19 points, five boards, three assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 44 minutes of action.
Oladipo has been scorching through the month of February, owning averages of 23.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 three-pointers, 2.0 steals, 0.5 swats and 2.8 turnovers per game on 55.0 percent shooting from the field and 95.5 percent from the stripe. That's been good enough for top-8 value in standard leagues, and while he's not likely to be this hot for the remainder of the year, he should have no trouble putting up early-round value as long as he's in the starting lineup. Victor Oladipo scored a season-high 37 points against the Thunder on Wednesday with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

He just missed his career high by a single point. Oladipo has been on cruise control in his last five, averaging 19.2 points, 3.8 boards, 4.4 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.4 treys on 47.5 percent from the field and 91.2 percent from the line. He's been a top-15 player in 2016 and looks like a great bet to be a top-25 player in standard leagues going forward. Why did coach Scott Skiles use him off the bench again?
Feb 3 - 11:48 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 19 points against the Spurs on Monday with three rebounds, seven assists, five steals and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

The move to the starting lineup has been huge for 'Dipo. Since moving into the starting lineup 13 games ago, Oladipo averaged 17.7 points, 4.5 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.5 treys. He's put up third-round value in that span, which is sustainable.
Feb 2 - 12:46 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 11 points with three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

Basically the entire backcourt got shut down tonight, so Oladipo gets a pass here. He's been better in the starting lineup and he should still be an early-round guy going forward. Hopefully, coach Scott Skiles breaks up his minutes with Elfrid Payton, who had just 12 points and one assist tonight.
Jan 29 - 10:38 PM

Victor Oladipo started at shooting guard again on Tuesday and had 18 points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 3-of-7 shooting.

He got to the line 11 times and hit 10 of them, and his owners have to be rejoicing that Scott Skiles has finally put him where he belongs - in the starting lineup. Dipo had just five points on 1-of-10 shooting in his last game, but scored 29 in the one prior. Hopefully he's in the starting lineup to stay this time.
Jan 26 - 11:41 PM

Victor Oladipo made 1-of-10 from the field for five points with four rebounds, six assists and one turnover in 37 minutes during a 108-102 overtime loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

Ouch. He was red hot from three before this game and had five straight games with at least two treys. Oladipo gets a pass here and he should be more consistent going forward now that he's in the starting lineup.
Jan 25 - 11:26 PM

Victor Oladipo said that his knee is good and that he will be ready for Monday's game vs. Memphis.

"I'm good right now," Oladipo said after Friday's game. "I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't tired. But I'm great. I'll be back ready to go on Monday when we play Memphis. So I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a big road trip for us." Oladipo scored 29 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 42 minutes against the Hornets, so his knee is obviously not a concern. Make sure he's in your lineups.
Jan 23 - 7:23 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 29 points against the Hornets on Friday with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

He did suffer a very mild leg injury and was popped in the face by Frank Kaminsky, but obviously it didn't affect his playing time. Oladipo handled the ball a lot while he was out there and he should certainly benefit from sticking in the starting lineup. That buy-low window is basically closed now.
Jan 22 - 9:56 PM

Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton will start against the Hornets on Friday.

This will be the first time this duo starts since the major rotation change back on Nov. 25. Coach Scott Skiles might take the Terry Stotts approach and stagger 'Dipo with Payton because Shabazz Napier has been brutal. Regardless, this is a good sign for both starters.
Jan 22 - 5:21 PM

Victor Oladipo (knee) will play on Friday vs. the Hornets.

As per usual, coach Scott Skiles did not say what his starting lineup would be for Friday. Oladipo excelled in the starting lineup, but Elfrid Payton is coming off a strong performance vs. the 76ers. Regardless, Oladipo's owners can safely plug him back into active lineups because he shouldn't have too many limitations.
Jan 22 - 10:55 AM

Scott Skiles said that he's hopeful Victor Oladipo (knee) will be able to play Friday vs. the Hornets.

Oladipo went through some non-contact work during Thursday's practice, and he said he'll see how his knee feels following Friday morning's shootaround before determining his status for tomorrow's game against Charlotte. If he's unable to play, Elfrid Payton and Evan Fournier will continue to log major minutes with Nikola Vucevic doing the heavy lifting on offense.

Victor Oladipo (knee) got some shots up at practice on Thursday and is still listed as out for Friday against the Hornets.

An earlier report said he's questionable, so this "being listed as out" isn't written in stone. There should be an update tomorrow, but his owners may want to plan on him missing another game. That means more run for Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier and Mario Hezonja.
Jan 21 - 1:52 PM

Victor Oladipo (sprained right knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets.

The 23-year-old has missed the Magic's last two games and looks in danger of missing a third straight on Friday. We'll keep an eye on his status after Friday's shootaround, while Elfrid Payton and Evan Fournier stand to benefit if Dipo sits against the Hornets.
Jan 21 - 11:04 AM

Victor Oladipo (sprained right knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the 76ers.

The Magic have yet to release an official timetable for Oladipo, but it's not a great sign that he's being ruled out so early, although that could also have something to do with the fact that it's a matchup against the lowly 76ers. We'll be considering Dipo questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets, and it'll be Elfrid Payton picking up some extra minutes in his absence with Evan Fournier doing a bit more on offense.
Jan 19 - 2:11 PM

Victor Oladipo has been diagnosed with a sprained right knee and will miss Monday's game vs. the Hawks.

This is a huge blow for the Magic, but it's unclear how much time Oladipo will miss because it all depends on how well his knee responds to treatment. With Oladipo on the shelf, Elfrid Payton will likely return to the starting lineup and his fantasy stock gets a huge boost with this news. As for Oladipo, he suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to the Raptors and while he did finish the game, his knee swelled up on him after the game.
