Victor Oladipo scored 14 points with two rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Cavs on Friday.

We saw him handle more of the point guard duties in this game and it's pretty clear coach Nate McMillan trusts his shooting guard to run the offense. The former Magic guard excelled as a ball-handler in Orlando and Darren Collison also has performed as an off-ball guy, so we could see a big bounce back from Dipo after a rough year in OKC. He's a top-40 pick with mega upside.
Oct 6 - 11:07 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 15 points with three rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.

A few months ago Oladipo was getting the #MuscleWatch talk for dropping some weight, and tonight he looked to be in phenomenal shape. The Pacers have talked a lot about pushing the ball more and they're certainly going to need Oladipo to produce points for them. He's expected to distribute the ball and he can fill a stat sheet, so he makes sense as a top-40 pick in fantasy.
Oct 4 - 10:51 PM

Victor Oladipo will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason opener against the Bucks.

As expected, joining Oladipo in the starting five will be Darren Collison, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thaddeus Young and Myles Turner. Dipo was essentially relegated to being nothing more than a spot-up shooter in OKC last season, but he should go back to being a primary creator in Indiana's offense. He has a great shot of returning top-30 value on the season and will make for one of the better value picks towards the middle rounds on draft day.

Victor Oladipo said he will use his 78 ranking in ESPN's top-100 list as motivation for this upcoming season.

"I was 48 last year, they dropped me 30 spots. It's fine though, I love it," said Oladipo. "There's nothing better than proving people wrong." Oladipo took a step in the wrong direction last season, contributing just eighth-round value in standard 9-cat league behind averages of 15.9 points, 4.3 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.9 treys, 1.2 steals and 1.8 turnovers per game. However, the drop in statistics had a lot more to do with how Russell Westbrook dominated the rock in OKC, and let's not forget that Dipo is just one-year removed from a top-35 season. After a down-year, Oladipo could make for one of the better value picks as he looks to re-establish himself as an early-round guy.
Sep 13 - 10:07 AM

Victor Oladipo was named MVP of the 2017 NBA Africa Game after tallying 28 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Oladipo was aggressive offensively throughout, attempting a game-high 25 field goals, including 14 attempts from 3-point territory. Oladipo is coming off a relatively disappointing season with OKC. However, after being traded to Indiana this summer, he should see a significant spike in his usage rate next season, as he will no longer be sharing the floor with Russell Westbrook.
Aug 5 - 1:35 PM

Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis have been traded to the Pacers in the Paul George deal.

Well, Oladipo's muscle watch from earlier this month should come in handy as he will likely be a huge part of the offense. After being overshadowed by Russell Westbrook's all-time record in usage rate, Oladipo should get a chance to shine in front of his old Hoosier stomping grounds. He gains a massive boost in fantasy leagues.
Jun 30 - 9:46 PM

Victor Oladipo has dropped 10 pounds in the last three weeks during his offseason training.

Muscle Watch! In the Instagram post, Oladipo looks a little more toned and he also said he's going to continue his offseason training to get in better shape. Due to Russell Westbrook shattering the record for usage rate and Oladipo underperforming, he couldn't build off his strong finish in his Magic career. He'll be sliding into the middle rounds this year, but there is still plenty of upside, especially with VO expected to play more point guard.

Jun 9 - 5:31 PM

Victor Oladipo could play more point guard next season according to Thunder GM Sam Presti.

Dipo only logged two percent of his minutes at point this season, but he said he's ready for the challenge. "I like handling the ball. I like making decisions, and I know I can," Oladipo said. "Now it's a matter of doing it on a consistent basis." Dipo didn't live up to expectations this season and took a backseat on offense next to usage rate monster Russell Westbrook, but he also battled through a few nagging injuries to his wrist, knee and back. He will be a bounce-back candidate in 2017-18 and said he's planning a "very relentless summer" developing his game.

May 14 - 11:16 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 10 points on 4-of-17 shooting in Tuesday's Game 5 loss to the Rockets, adding six rebounds, one steal and two triples in 34 minutes.

Coach Billy Donovan tweaked his rotation so that Oladipo would run the point for the second unit, but he didn't play well in that role and the Rockets outscored the Thunder by 18 points during Russell Westbrook's six minutes on the bench. Oladipo was flying off draft boards in the second and third rounds of a lot of fantasy drafts this season, but only returned eighth-round value in standard leagues with averages of 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 triples. Playing next to a usage rate monster in Westbrook certainly didn't help things and Dipo battled through a couple nagging injuries, but the 24-year-old SG will look to bounce back in 2017-18.
Apr 25 - 11:29 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting during Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Rockets, adding one 3-pointer, four boards, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 39 minutes.

After struggling through the first two games, Dipo has stepped it up over the past two, pumping out averages of 13.5 points, 5.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.0 block and just 0.5 turnovers per game on 66.7 percent shooting. He'll need to keep the efficient trend going for the Thunder to have any chance of sending this series back to OKC for a Game 6.
Apr 23 - 7:42 PM

Victor Oladipo made 5-of-8 from the field for 12 points with six rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Rockets on Friday.

That's a big improvement following his 1-of-13 from deep in his first two games of the postseason. Oladipo's usage was still way down in this game and it's been way down all year despite a mini-breakout year in 2015-16 with the Magic. He's a bit of an afterthought in this offense and really hasn't fit in all year.
Apr 22 - 12:38 AM

The Thunder are hoping Victor Oladipo can break out of his shooting slump in Game 3 Friday night in OKC.

Oladipo has struggled mightily in the series' first two games. He is just 5-of-26 (19.2 percent) from the field, including 1-of-13 (6.5 percent) from 3-point territory, over Games 1 and 2 vs. Houston. Coach Billy Donovan stated that despite his offensive struggles, Oladipo has been solid overall. "Victor's not a one-dimensional player — he can do a lot of different things," Donovan said. Nonetheless, OKC will need more out of their second-leading scorer if they want to advance past the Rockets.

Apr 21 - 1:49 PM

Victor Oladipo, who shot just 1-of-12 from the field in Game 1, finished Wednesday's 115-111 loss with 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting, nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes.

Oladipo had a disastrous playoff debut with the Thunder, and his team will need more from him to avoid a first-round loss to the No. 3 seed Rockets. He was 1-of-7 from deep tonight and OKC as a team went 7-of-30 beyond the arc (23.3 percent), which negated their advantage in rebounds (48-37).
Apr 19 - 10:55 PM

Victor Oladipo made 1-of-12 field goals for six points (0-of-6 from deep) with four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal during Sunday's series-opening loss to the Rockets.

The effort was there for Oladipo but he obviously wasn't in a comfort-zone offensively, which is something that must happen to take pressure off Russell Westbrook as the overclocked engine of the offense. He gets two days off and should fare much better on Wednesday.
