Victor Oladipo scored 25 points with six rebounds, six assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 45 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Besides an eight-point hiccup on Monday, Oladipo has been on cruise control. In his last nine games, Oladipo averaged 19.8 points, 5.4 boards, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals, 2.8 treys and 2.0 turnovers on 54.9 percent from the field. It took a while for the well-rounded stat lines to come, but they are definitely here now. Keep him rolling as an early-round guy going forward. Dec 1 - 12:34 AM

Date:

Victor Oladipo shot 4-of-11 from the field and went 0-of-4 from beyond the arc on Monday night against the Knicks.

After scoring at least 18 points in three consecutive games and double-digit points in seven straight games, Oladipo scored just eight points in Monday’s win against the Knicks. It was an off shooting night for him and the first game he did not make a three pointer since November 13th. He looks to get back on track on Wednesday against the Wizards.
Nov 28 - 10:21 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 18 points with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

He has been remarkably consistent in his last seven games with at least 14 points and multiple treys in each game. In that span, Oladipo averaged 20.7 points, 5.7 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.4 blocks and 2.9 treys on 55.7 percent from the field. He's getting shots at the rim, dominating in the corners and has seen an increase in usage rate in that span. He looks like the stud his owners drafted early.
Nov 26 - 11:26 PM

Victor Oladipo had another excellent game on Friday with 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting, a season-high seven assists, four rebounds, three steals, two 3-pointers and just one turnover in 42 minutes.

Oladipo is cruising after a very slow start to the season, and this is his fourth straight game with at least 14 points, two 3-pointers and a steal. The supporting stats have picked up and he once again resembles the player owners thought they were getting on draft day. Congrats if you bought low on him a few weeks ago.
Nov 26 - 12:05 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 18 points with six rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday.

He's beginning to look like the second-half stud from last year. In his last five, Oladipo averaged 20.2 points, 6.0 boards, 4.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 3.0 treys on 54.5 percent from the field. If you bought low on Oladipo before this hot streak, you likely stole him off his former owner.
Nov 24 - 1:29 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.

He played a team-high 39 minutes and added four rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block, two 3-pointers and three turnovers. Dipo is trending up in a hurry and it looks like his slow start to the season is behind him, as he's averaging 18.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 triples over his last five games.
Nov 23 - 1:51 AM

Victor Oladipo had 14 points, six assists, five rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in a losing effort on Sunday, shooting 6-of-14 from the field without any free throw attempts.

Oladipo's slow start to the season is quickly giving way to the production owners expected on draft day, and he played some point guard tonight with Cameron Payne (foot) and Semaj Christon (concussion) out of commission. "Victor I feel very comfortable just because he's played some point in Orlando and he's done it a little bit here," said coach Billy Donovan. Despite tonight's inefficiency, Dipo is trending up in a hurry.
Nov 20 - 10:29 PM

Victor Oladipo turned it on against the Nets on Friday, scoring 26 points with five rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers.

That's two outstanding games with a 29-point, 10-board, five-dime line coming on Wednesday. Oladipo's steals are still nowhere near where they should be at 0.8 per game, but the scoring is starting to turn the corner. The buy-low window is rapidly closing for a guy who put up elite value in the 2016 portion of last season.
Nov 19 - 1:04 AM

Victor Oladipo went off for 29 points, 10 rebounds and five assists on Wednesday, all season highs, helping OKC beat the visiting Rockets 105-103.

Finally. Oladipo was a popular early-round pick but he's been infuriating owners with a lack of overall production, so hopefully this will get him out of his funk. He made 12-of-18 shots with five 3-pointers and two steals, rounding out his breakout performance. The Rockets defense gets some credit here, as they seemed uninterested in guarding Dipo tonight, but fantasy owners aren't complaining.
Nov 16 - 11:06 PM

Victor Oladipo hit just 4-of-17 shots and 1-of-7 3-pointers for nine points, two rebounds, one assist, and a block in Monday's loss.

Things were looking up after he scored 17 or 18 points in three straight games, but he had just 12 points on Sunday and tonight's nine were a season low. The low-scoring games would be fine if he was contributing elsewhere, but he just hasn't done a lot over his last two games. Hopefully he breaks out of the funk against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Nov 14 - 10:50 PM

Victor Oladipo faced his former team on Sunday and had a modest 12 points, two assists, one rebound and one steal in 31 minutes of action.

It wasn't exactly the spirited effort we expected against his former team. Oladipo got off to a very slow start this year but he's showing signs of life lately, including a combined 15-of-27 mark from downtown in his previous five games. He won't live up to the early-season hype, however, unless he starts contributing more rebounds (3.8), assists (1.6) and steals (0.7), while improving his percentages (40.3 percent FGs, 71.0 percent FTs).
Nov 13 - 9:49 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 18 points with two rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Clippers on Friday.

After a brief adjustment period, it looks like Oladipo has found his groove. In his last five, he's averaged 17.2 points, 3.6 boards, 1.2 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.6 blocks and 3.0 treys on 47.7 percent from the field. While the dimes and steals are not quite where they need to be yet, OKC is running an up-tempo style at 102.5 possessions per game, which usually results in more defensive stats. There's still a chance to buy low.
Nov 12 - 1:05 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 12 points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

Coach Billy Donovan isn’t staggering Oladipo nearly as much as anticipated. In his previous five, VO has played 82.4 percent of his minutes next to Russell Westbrook. Although, Oladipo does have a 21.5 usage rate in his time with Westbrook, so things are looking up. Once he gets his shot straightened out and the steals come, his owners should feel better. Buy low if you can.
Nov 5 - 8:48 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 21 points during a 122-96 loss to the Warriors on Thursday, adding three rebounds and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

It was his best game of the season, making 8-of-13 from the field. Oladipo only made 32.8 percent from the field in his previous four, averaging just 15.0 points, 4.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 treys. He is a very nice buy-low target despite Russell Westbrook taking all the shots.
Nov 4 - 1:37 AM

Victor Oladipo was quiet in 33 minutes vs. the Clippers, posting nine points, five rebounds and one assist while shooting 3-of-11 from the field.

The Clippers held opposing shooting guards to the third-fewest points per game last season, with only the Spurs and Pistons being more stingy. Oladipo will occasionally disappear in Russell Westbrook's shadow, but it must be remembered that he's played a mere four regular-season games for his new team -- better times are coming.
