Victor Oladipo bounced back on Wednesday with 20 points, three rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block during a 121-100 loss in Oracle Arena on Wednesday.
The Thunder were pummeled by the Clippers on Monday, which limited VO to 24 minutes, a fluky game that should be dismissed for evaluation purposes. The best sign for fantasy owners is that Oladipo's four steals tonight were a season high -- he has eight in his past three games, a trend that could significantly boost his overall fantasy appeal. Date:

Victor Oladipo hit 7-of-14 shots for 23 points with two assists, one rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes on Sunday vs. the Kings.

This marked the first time he has a 20-point game since Nov. 30. However, Oladipo is having a nice month, averaging 34.3 minutes, 17.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.3 treys per game in January. He's becoming more consistent as the season progresses, which is a good sign for fantasy owners.
Jan 16 - 1:02 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 19 points with five rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the Wolves on Friday.

We're still waiting for him to add the other stats to go with some scoring, but he's trending up. In his previous January games, Oladipo averaged 16.2 points, 3.8 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.7 treys on 44.2 percent from the field. There's still a chance to buy low.
Jan 13 - 11:46 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 15 points with three rebounds, three assists, one block, two steals and no turnovers in 33 minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday.

He still has his wrist wrapped and maybe that's why he missed all eight shots from beyond the arc tonight. Oladipo hasn't quite got his shot going in his last five, making 40.8 percent from the field with averages of 16.6 points, 4.4 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.6 treys in 34.8 minutes. He should go back to being an early-round guy soon enough.
Jan 7 - 11:14 PM

Victor Oladipo hit 6-of-16 shots and four 3-pointers for 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 41 minutes of Thursday's tough 118-116 loss to the Rockets.

He actually played three more minutes than Russell Westbrook, so his wrist injury appears to be fully behind him. Dipo's been great since his return four games ago, averaging 17 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, .8 steals and 3.3 3-pointers on 42 percent shooting.
Jan 5 - 10:48 PM

Victor Oladipo hit 7-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal in Monday's 98-94 loss to the Bucks.

Dipo was great tonight and it appears his wrist injury is no longer a major concern. In his two games back he has shed his minutes limit and is averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 3-pointers in his two games back.
Jan 2 - 10:38 PM

Victor Oladipo scored 15 points in his return to the lineup against the Clippers on Saturday, adding four rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

His wind looked fine and he showed a lot of confidence in his shot, attempting eight of his nine shots from outside the paint. Coach Billy Donovan also staggered Oladipo from Westbrook a tad, which would be a great move for his value. Hopefully he can go back to the early-round stud he was starting to look like prior to his injury back on Dec. 11.
Jan 1 - 12:29 AM

Victor Oladipo (wrist) will be in the starting lineup against the Clippers on Saturday and will not have a minute restriction.

He's finally back after missing the last 10 games. Oladipo has been doing some conditioning and is usually at workouts, so his cardio should be OK. This is to his shooting wrist, so his shot selection will be something to watch. Dipo was really hot before he went down, so his fantasy owners will be hoping he can pick up where he left off. All the other wings take a hit here, but not so much on Andre Roberson.

Victor Oladipo (wrist) will play on Saturday vs. the Clippers.

This certainly qualifies and surprising, yet welcomed, news for Oladipo owners. 'Dipo had missed 10 straight games due to the wrist ailment and although he had made some encouraging progress recently, he was not expected to return this weekend. Anthony Morrow will be bumped back to the OKC bench. Alex Abrines and Jerami Grant will also see their minutes significantly reduced.

Victor Oladipo (wrist) will not play on Thursday vs. the Grizzlies.

Head coach Billy Donovan said his wrist "is still bothering him," but added that "he's getting better." Oladipo participated in a full-contact three-on-three scrimmage at the end of Wednesday's practice, so it sounds like he's closing in on a return. With Oladipo on the shelf, Anthony Morrow and Alex Abrines will likely split his minutes, while Jerami Grant gets a slight bump as well.

Victor Oladipo (wrist) is not expected to play Thursday vs. the Grizzlies.

Thursday will mark Oladipo's ninth straight game on the sidelines, although he was spotted getting up shots (with his right hand), dunking and going through some 3-on-3 work with Cameron Payne (foot), so he is edging his way closer towards a return. Anthony Morrow, Jerami Grant and Alex Abrines will continue to split Oladipo's minutes in his absence, but none of those guys are on the standard league radar.

Billy Donovan said Victor Oladipo's (wrist) "major problem" is shooting the basketball.

"That's the biggest problem because he just has a really hard time following through," Donovan said. "And especially the farther he moves away from the basket, the more painful it is for him, the more he has to flick that wrist, that's where he struggles." Oladipo may not be as close as some were hoping, will miss his eighth straight game on Tuesday, and currently has no timetable to return. Even in fantasy leagues without an IR/IL spot, you can't justify an outright drop. We'll just have to keep on waiting.

Victor Oladipo (wrist) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Heat.

This will be his eighth game in a row on the sidelines. Coach Billy Donovan said he's progressing, but added that he still has pain when he shoots and passes. Anthony Morrow and Jerami Grant will pick up most of Oladipo's minutes, but Grant is the better short-term add in deeper leagues for his upside in blocks.

Victor Oladipo (wrist) is listed as out for the Thunder's Christmas Day matchup with the Timberwolves.

Oladipo still can't shoot or catch the ball effectively with his right hand, and Sunday will mark his seventh straight game on the sidelines. Anthony Morrow and Jerami Grant have been splitting his minutes, but neither guy can be trusted in standard settings. Russell Westbrook's usage rate will be over 40 tonight.
Sun, Dec 25, 2016 04:38:00 PM

Victor Oladipo (wrist) will not play against the Celtics on Friday night.

He is getting closer, but the Thunder will keep him out. Oladipo was at practice on Wednesday, but he was taking shots with his left hand. Oladipo could have a chance to play on Christmas against the Wolves. With him out on Friday, the Thunder may lean on Alex Abrines after his breakout 18-point Wednesday. He's obviously only worth a look in very deep leagues.
