Victor Oladipo finished Sunday's 105-101 Game 7 loss to Cleveland with 30 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and four triples on 10-of-21 shooting.
As he did all season long, VO stuffed the stat sheet, but it just wasn't enough to beat LeBron James on the road in a win-or-go-home playoff game. Despite the first-round loss, Oladipo blossomed into a superstar in front of our eyes this season, and there's every reason to think that he can keep it going entering the 2018-19 campaign. If you really want Dipo in your fantasy league(s) next season, you are likely going to have to spend a first-round pick to grab him. Apr 29 - 4:18 PM

Victor Oladipo erupted during an easy 121-87 win over the Cavs in Game 6 on Friday, scoring 28 points with 13 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and six 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Well, he's out of his slump for his first postseason triple-double. Oladipo was 12-for-50 from the field in his previous three games, but he was never concerned about it. "I think I got some pretty good looks ... I just missed," Oladipo said about his slump before tonight. Coach Nate McMillan also said he was looking to work him in off the ball, but that wasn't needed with the best player on the Pacers hitting on all cylinders. If he plays like this on Sunday, he might send LeBron James home after one round.
Apr 27 - 10:36 PM

Victor Oladipo struggled during Game 5 on Wednesday, shooting 2-of-15 from the field for 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal.

The Pacers and Cavs series has the slowest pace in the postseason, and the Cavs' defense has throttled Oladipo lately -- since Game 3 he's a combined 12-of-50 from the field (24.0 percent). Poor shot selection has plagued him and it'll be interesting to see what coach Nate McMillan draws up to get his star guard going in a critical Game 6 at home on Friday. If you're looking for a silver lining, the boards tied Oladipo's season high and the turnovers were his fewest of the postseason.
Apr 25 - 10:11 PM

Victor Oladipo shot just 5-of-20 from the field for 17 points on Sunday, adding six rebounds, five assists, three 3-pointers and two blocks in the Pacers' 104-100 defeat.

The Cavs didn't give Oladipo much breathing room offensively, and even when he did get clean looks they just weren't falling. One of his few makes was a lucky bank-shot on a 3-pointer, but on the plus side he sank 4-of-5 free throws with a relatively modest three turnovers -- he came in averaging 5.0 per game in the first round. Indiana ceded homecourt advantage with the loss, but fans of entertaining NBA games aren't complaining.
Apr 22 - 11:49 PM

Victor Oladipo made 5-of-15 from the field for 18 points with six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in a win over the Cavs on Friday.

He did not have his shot today and he was 1-of-8 from deep, but the Pacers were able to pull out the comeback victory. The Cavs were trapping Oladipo more in this game, but he was able to get the ball to his teammates. Oladipo is likely going to see a similar strategy against him in Game 3 and the Cavs will just hope Bojan Bogdanovic cools off on Sunday.
Apr 20 - 9:49 PM

Victor Oladipo got into early foul trouble on Wednesday, but still finished Game 2 with 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting, two 3-pointers, six assists, three rebounds, two steals and six turnovers.

Oladipo committed his second personal foul with 10:58 remaining in the first quarter and wound up playing just 28 minutes -- he averaged 34.0 per game during the regular season. The Pacers still split the first two games of the series 1-1, and they head back to Indiana with homecourt advantage on their side. With a 27-14 record at home this regular season, that could be a critical factor as the series unfolds.
Apr 18 - 9:51 PM

Victor Oladipo was dominant in an emphatic 98-80 Game 1 win over the Cavaliers, finishing with 32 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals, six triples, and a block on 11-of-19 shooting.

Some might point out the fact that Dipo was just 4-of-8 from the charity stripe, and others might respond with an eye roll. Oladipo was nothing short of phenomenal in his 2018 postseason debut, and the biggest takeaway was that the Cavs simply had no answers to slow him down. We'll see if that changes in Game 2.
Apr 15 - 6:40 PM

Victor Oladipo (sore right foot), Bojan Bogdanovic (rest) and Thaddeus Young (rest) have been ruled out of Tuesday's game vs. Charlotte.

Oladipo will finish the season averaging 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and a league-leading 2.4 steals over 75 games. One of the most pleasant surprises of the 2017-18 season, 'Dipo is the odds-on favorite to take home the NBA's Most Improved Player award this season. Lance Stephenson will likely start in place of Oladipo on Tuesday, and should see a spike in his usage rate and plenty of playing time.
Apr 10 - 11:32 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 27 points on 12-of-15 shooting Sunday, to go with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and three turnovers in 27 minutes.

Oladipo was uncharacteristically held to just five points on 2-of-9 shooting Friday, but the Pacers did a good job to get him involved early in order ensure the bounce-back performance. Additionally, Oladipo has now recorded at least one steal in 64 straight games, tying him for fourth all-time in that category with Mike Conley.
Apr 8 - 3:42 PM

Victor Oladipo ended up with just five points over 21 minutes on 2-of-9 shooting in Friday's 93-72 loss at Toronto.

Oladipo had scored 11 or more points in each of his previous 73 games this season, and his streak of 75 straight games with double-digit points came to an end. This was his lowest for a full game since Dec. 28, 2015 when he had four points in 28 minutes. It was just one really rare and really bad game for Oladipo, as he has been a stud all season.
Apr 6 - 10:20 PM

Victor Oladipo once again stuffed the stat sheet in a 126-106 victory over the Warriors, finishing with 21 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three 3-pointers and three steals in 33 minutes.

Oladipo, who was 9-of-17 from the field in the victory, has been doing it all for Indiana of late. Over the Pacers past five contests, 'Dipo is averaging 24.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 2.2 treys and 3.6 steals, while shooting a scorching 60.8 percent from the floor. He has at least one steal in a Pacers franchise record 62 straight games. Simply can't ask for more form Oladipo, who is putting the finishing touches on his Most Improved Player-worthy season.
Apr 5 - 9:21 PM

Victor Oladipo hit 10-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists, four steals and two blocks in 35 minutes in Tuesday's 107-104 loss to the Nuggets.

This was a big loss for the Pacers, as they're now 1.5 games behind the Sixers for the No. 4 seed, and it looks like we're poised for the two to meet in Round 1, with the Sixers holding the homecourt advantage as of now. Then again, Philly could still catch the Cavs and push them into the No. 4 spot, where they'd face the Pacers. The playoff race is intense right now and will only get better over the final week of the season. Enjoy.
Apr 4 - 12:49 AM

Victor Oladipo set a season-high with 12 assists vs. the Pacers, adding 30 points (11-of-17 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), five steals, three 3-pointers and one block in 38 minutes.

Head coach Nate McMillan was prescient, saying before the game, "[Oladipo] creates a lot of offense for us, in transition, as well as the halfcourt. You can play him off the ball, with the ball ... Teams are playing him a little different. He’s seeing some double teams, which is opening up opportunities for other guys." Oladipo has been carrying fantasy teams all season long and he's not about to stop with Indy battling for playoff position.
Apr 1 - 6:30 PM

Victor Oladipo took over late against the Kings during a 106-103 win on Thursday, finishing with 24 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

He went off late to score 13 of the Pacers' final 17 points, and he had a big-time block on Willie Cauley-Stein at the rim with less than two minutes left. Dipo's late play continues to be off the charts and it's the main reason why his team is an incredible 11-1 in games decided by three points or less. He'll be the most feathery Most Improved Player in NBA history.
Mar 30 - 12:57 AM

Victor Oladipo hit 9-of-12 shots and two 3-pointers for 24 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in Tuesday's big 92-81 win at Golden State.

Oladipo was the lone bright spot for the Pacers, but he was all they needed against a team without Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson that has nothing left to play for, except for getting the stars healthy. Dipo went down in a heap in the final two minutes of the game and had his mouth bloodied, but like the stud he is, wiped it up, stayed in the game to hit some free throws, and finished it out. The Pacers have a decent shot at passing both the Sixers and Cavaliers to be the No. 3 seed in the East, so it's going to take a lot more than a shot to the mouth to keep Dipo down. The Pacers have a great chance to gain ground on Thursday at Sacramento, but then travel to the Clippers and Nuggets, and then get a somewhat healthy Warriors again in Indy next Thursday, followed by a trip to Toronto. Yikes. Oladipo should continue to come up big for one of the league's most pleasant surprises this season.
