Victor Oladipo said that he's "dreamed" about playing on the stage he'll have with the Thunder.
"I’ve dreamed about that stage, you know?" he said. "Dreamed about the opportunity to be on that type of stage and have that opportunity to compete for a championship, and now I have that opportunity. So I’ve got to take full advantage of it." We can't wait to see what a backcourt of Oladipo and Russell Westbrook is capable of doing to the rest of the NBA. Jul 4 - 8:47 AM

Victor Oladipo said it's going to be "fun to watch" him and Russell Westbrook share a backcourt.

Yes, yes it will. Oladipo's fantasy value is going to be determined by what Kevin Durant decides to do as an unrestricted free agent, but if KD decides to leave OKC, Oladipo will immediately become the No. 2 option in OKC's offense. However, if Durant elects to remain with the Thunder, Dipo will likely be more of a mid-round kind of player.

Victor Oladipo was traded to the Thunder on Thursday.

Wow. The Thunder got themselves a terrific shooting guard with play-making ability. If the team does keep Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, Oladipo is going to have a tough time matching his statistical output from last year. He will get big minutes on his new team and would be a mid-round target in standard leagues. This opens up minutes for Mario Hezonja and makes Dion Waiters expendable, as well.

Magic head coach Frank Vogel called Victor Oladipo a special talent.

Vogel hasn't had a chance to coach Oladipo yet, but is familiar with the 24-year-old from his time as the Pacers head coach. "I think Victor Oladipo is a special, special talent," Vogel said. Oladipo averaged 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.4 three-pointers in 2015-16 and will be an elite fantasy option in 2016-17 if Vogel can help him take the next step.

Trail Blazers assistant coach David Vanterpool interviewed for Orlando's vacant head coaching position on Wednesday.

Vanterpool has interviewed for head coaching jobs before but he's never made the leap, and Orlando has also discussed their position with Frank Vogel and current assistant Adrian Griffin. GM Rob Hennigan said recently that "stability is very important," seemingly giving Griffin an advantage, but we shouldn't have to wait long for Orlando's final decision.

Victor Oladipo hasn't yet made a decision on whether he'll play for Nigeria in the Olympics.

Oladipo didn't have a bad season with injury at 72 games, so he doesn't likely need any offseason procedures. Going over the season, he had two concussions (three games in April, two games in November), a sprained wrist (two games), a back contusion (one game) and a right knee sprain (two games). He should be a fantasy stud next season.
May 9 - 3:41 PM

Victor Oladipo is set to complete the NBA's concussion protocol on Thursday.

This news doesn't matter much for fantasy owners now that Oladipo's season is over, but it's good news to hear that he's recovered from his concussion. Dipo finished his third NBA season with averages of 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 1.4 three-pointers on 43.8 percent shooting from the field. His post-All Star Break stats were even better and Oladipo will end up being an elite fantasy option if he can take the next step in 2016-17.
Apr 14 - 11:34 AM

Victor Oladipo (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Oladipo did indicate that he's feeling better, but after suffering his second concussion in a five-month span, the Magic will err on the side of caution with their franchise two-guard. Mario Hezonja should continue to start in his absence, and he's worth a look just about everywhere, while there will be some increased opportunity for Elfrid Payton and Evan Fournier. Owners in re-draft leagues can go ahead and send Dipo to the waiver wire.
Apr 12 - 3:02 PM

Victor Oladipo (concussion) and Aaron Gordon (concussion) will not play against the Bucks on Monday.

Oladipo is very likely to miss Wednesday, as well. With Oladipo out, Evan Fournier should play a ton while Mario Hezonja might get an extended look to help him prepare for his first full offseason as an NBA player. Oladipo's fantasy owners in re-draft leagues should probably drop him.
Apr 11 - 5:21 PM

Victor Oladipo (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.

Oladipo was diagnosed with a concussion after Friday's game, and he'll need to clear the league mandated concussion protocol testing before he is allowed to return to the court. Mario Hezonja will draw the start in his place, and he's someone to consider as a punt in DFS with the increased opportunity. With just two more game remaining for Orlando, Dipo may have already played his final game of the 2015-16 season.
Apr 10 - 4:41 PM

Victor Oladipo has been diagnosed with a concussion, according to head coach Scott Skiles.

Oladipo missed two games earlier this season with a concussion, and with just three more games remaining on the schedule for Orlando, there's a good chance this could end Dipo's season. It'll be Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier, Brandon Jennings and Mario Hezonja seeing some increased opportunity in Oladipo's absence, and Hezonja is worth a speculative add in deep leagues with Aaron Gordon also dealing with a concussion of his own.

Victor Oladipo received six stitches above his left eye and is doubtful to return to Friday's game against the Heat.

Oladipo took an elbow to the face via Hassan Whiteside, and it doesn't sound like he's going to make it back to the floor tonight for Orlando. He'll end his evening with 13 points, four boards, one assist, tow blocks, one triples and one turnover in 28 minutes. For now, we'll be considering him questionable for Sunday's rematch with Miami, and if he's out it'll be Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier and Brandon Jennings seeing some increased opportunity.

Victor Oladipo had a solid all-around game on Wednesday with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.

Oladipo sounded like he was channeling Scott Skiles when describing his team's recent success prior to the game. "I think we're getting a lot of simple buckets, as in transition and finding the open man," he said. "We just gotta continue to keep moving the ball, keep defending and let the defense create for the offense." Orlando fell tonight, 108-104, but their future is bright with Oladipo, Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Elfrid Payton and Mario Hezonja all under guaranteed contracts next season.

Apr 6 - 10:19 PM

Victor Oladipo (ankle) started Sunday's game and scored 22 points on 9-of-18 FGs and 4-of-5 FTs, with seven rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and zero turnovers in 39 minutes.

VO sprained his ankle on Saturday and recently overcame a wrist injury, but it seems like nothing can slow him down right now. Over the past two weeks he's averaged 16.4 points, 1.4 threes, 4.8 boards and 5.2 assists, with a ridiculous 3.6 steals and 1.4 blocks. Those defensive stats alone are carrying plenty of his fantasy owners to the championship.
Apr 3 - 8:51 PM

Victor Oladipo (ankle) will play and start vs. the Grizzlies on Sunday.

He suffered a sprained ankle vs. the Bucks on Saturday, but it must be pretty minor if he's going to play in a meaningless game. His owners can safely keep him locked into lineups.
