Victor Oladipo said that he is starting to realize just how good he can be in the NBA.
"I'm finally starting to realize how good I can be and what my potential is," Oladipo said. "So I'm definitely going to keep working on getting better so I can exhaust my potential." Oladipo had season averages of 17.9 points, 4.2 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.2 3-pointers this season, and he showed some serious improvement down the stretch. He also averaged 2.8 turnovers and shot just 43.6 percent from the field, but those numbers should improve if the Magic add some pieces around him this summer. He will likely be off the board in the first few rounds of drafts. May 23 - 11:22 AM

Victor Oladipo scored 30 points against the Heat on Monday with six boards, one assist, four steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

He's really stuffing the stat sheet and is gaining a ton of value for drafts next season. If you're in an eight-category league, you're going to have to pounce on 'Dipo in the second round. He's a third-round target in standard leagues for now.
Apr 14 - 1:14 AM

Victor Oladipo scored a team-high 19 points during a 101-99 loss to the Raptors on Friday, adding five rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

He hit a clutch 3-pointer to give the Magic the lead with 13 seconds left. After a Lou Williams trey, Oladipo missed a floater just before the buzzer. Oladipo has really been stuffing the stat sheet in his previous 22 games since the break, averaging 20.0 points, 4.4 boards, 4.9 dimes, 1.8 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.3 treys. He's likely going off the board in the second round in eight-category leagues next season.
Apr 10 - 9:51 PM

Victor Oladipo played a team-high 41 minutes and hit 8-of-14 shots and three 3-pointers for 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in Wednesdaay's tough win over the Bulls.

Elfrid Payton stayed hot and missed a triple-double by just one rebound and one assist, and the duo looks like one of the more dangerous backcourts in the league for the future.
Apr 8 - 10:40 PM

Victor Oladipo scored a game-high 24 points against the Spurs during a 103-91 loss on Wednesday with six rebounds, seven assists and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

March was the best scoring month of his career, averaging 21.4 points with 3.9 boards, 5.1 dimes, 2.2 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.4 treys on 44.2 percent from the field and 87.8 percent from the line in that span. That was good for No. 10 on the rankings for eight-category leagues. Oladipo is going to be a fantasy monster for a long time.
Apr 1 - 10:54 PM

The Magic lost in Houston on Tuesday despite getting a game-high 29 points from Victor Oladipo, who made 11-of-21 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws.

He added four boards, three assists and four steals without any turnovers, and his defense was the key reason James Harden scored only 17 points on 4-of-14 shooting. Oladipo has surged into top-10 value in 8-cat leagues over the past few weeks with impressive averages of 22.1 points, 2.0 triples, 3.6 boards, 5.3 assists and 2.9 steals.
Mar 17 - 11:38 PM

Victor Oladipo finished Tuesday's defeat with 13 points on 4-of-12 shooting, but he chipped in three rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks in just 32 minutes.

Oladipo hadn't blocked a shot since Feb. 20 and this marks the most combined steals and blocks he's had all season. Orlando's 22-year-old rising star gets better every game and he's already racking up top-20 fantasy value (8-cat) over his past 10 games. The future is now.
Mar 10 - 9:39 PM

Victor Oladipo hit 15-of-25 shots and four 3-pointers for a career-high 38 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 43 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Suns.

The bad news is that he had seven turnovers, but we doubt his owners hold it against him, especially after such a big scoring night. The Magic blew a 15-point lead in this one and Oladipo is on a roll, averaging 21.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five games, while shooting a solid 47 percent from the floor. Yes, he's averaging 3.8 turnovers during that stretch as well, but that's to be expected with a young player having the ball in his hands so much.
Mar 4 - 10:19 PM

Victor Oladipo had 13 points, 13 rebounds and four assists on 4-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's OT loss.

His lack of steals, blocks and 3-pointers tonight was disappointing, but he still came through with a nice double-double in the loss. His shooting is still an issue and he's at 41 percent over his last five games, but has also scored in double digits in every game he's played since Dec. 23. If his shot ever starts falling, look out.
Feb 25 - 10:40 PM

Victor Oladipo hit just 5-of-21 shots and two 3-pointers for 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.

His shot wasn't falling, but he still came through with a decent line. He appears to be healthy again after an Achilles scare, so make sure he's back in your lineup.
Feb 5 - 1:19 AM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) didn't suffer any setbacks during Monday's game vs. the Thunder and will play vs. the Spurs on Wednesday.

This is excellent news for Oladipo and this confirms that the injury he was dealing with was relatively minor. Owners can deploy Oladipo like they normally would moving forward and those of you who speculatively picked up Evan Fournier can now look elsewhere for production.
Feb 4 - 12:10 PM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) started in Monday's loss and scored 22 points on 7-of-14 shooting (2-of-4 3PTs, 6-of-6 FTs) with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes.

Oladipo picked up right where he left off before missing Saturday's game as he cruises along at a top 30-50 pace (8/9 cat).
Feb 3 - 2:03 AM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) will start against the Thunder on Monday.

He needed just one game to rest his Achilles, which bodes well that he's not dealing with a lingering injury. Oladipo should be put back into all fantasy lineups for this week. Evan Fournier can be dropped in most formats for now.
Feb 2 - 6:36 PM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) will test his foot in the pregame shootaround on Monday.

Oladipo's status is up the air after sitting out on Saturday, and the Achilles soreness is a result of an ankle sprain. A decision on his availability will be made after shootaround, but the good news is Oladipo has reported improvement regardless. If he sits out, Evan Fournier should once again draw the start.
Feb 2 - 11:32 AM

Victor Oladipo (Achilles) will not play against the Mavericks on Saturday.

There is no word on the severity of the issue, but it doesn't sound serious. Oladipo hasn't had any noteworthy Achilles issues in his NBA career and hopefully this is just a one-time thing. Evan Fournier will get the start and is worth a long look as a spot starter.
