Anthony Bennett (ankle) is hopeful to play in two more weeks.
He was only expected to miss two weeks back on Feb. 21, so he must've had a setback. Bennett might not make it back at all next month and he can be dropped just about everywhere. Basically, Adreian Payne will start on the road and Kevin Garnett will start at home. Feb 28 - 6:57 PM

Updating a previous item, Anthony Bennett (ankle) will not play for the next two weeks.

The timing is terrible for Bennett here because he had his best opportunity to produce in his NBA career. The team called it a leg contusion yesterday and now they're calling it an sprain, so it sounds like he could be out even beyond these two weeks. With Bennett out, newly-acquired Adreian Payne will be in the rotation. Gorgui Dieng is also going to play more at power forward, which coach Flip Saunders was against earlier this season. Dieng is even more of a must-own player.

Anthony Bennett (leg) will not play against the Rockets on Sunday.

He had some durability issues in his rookie season, so there's a chance he needs to miss multiple games here -- leg contusions have been a persistent problem in the NBA this season ,as well. Bennett actually started the game and played the first nine minutes of action, so he was on his way to seeing major playing time with Thaddeus Young in Brooklyn. He can be kept on the wire for now.

After suffering a leg contusion during Friday's game against the Suns, Anthony Bennett's x-rays came back negative and he will be reevaluated on Saturday.

Bennett actually drew the start for tonight's game, but this latest setback isn't going to help his chances of holding any fantasy value. We should know more after his reevaluation on Saturday, so owners should check back then for an update. If Bennett ends up missing time, more opportunities will fall to Gorgui Dieng, Adreian Payne and Shabazz Muhammad. To be clear, Dieng is the only player worth owning in standard leagues.

Anthony Bennett suffered a lower right leg contusion on Friday and will not return.

Gorgui Dieng started the second half with the Wolves running out of options. Bennett limped to the locker room under is own power, but it's never easy to tell how severe a leg contusion is. Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad should benefit most while Bennett is out. He finished with two points and four rebounds in nine minutes.
Feb 20 - 9:31 PM

Anthony Bennett will start at power forward on Friday night against the Suns.

The team has really cooled on him in his last two games, playing Bennett just 13.0 minutes per game for averages of 3.0 points, 2.5 boards and 0.5 blocks. Coach Flip Saunders doesn't play Gorgui Dieng at power forward a lot, so he probably won't see a big uptick in minutes tonight. Shabazz Muhammad should also see more playing time.
Feb 20 - 6:48 PM

The Wolves are reportedly shopping out-of-favor forward Anthony Bennett, and they are said to be eyeing Kevin Seraphin of the Wizards.

Bennett can't crack the rotation on one of the worst teams in the league in Minnesota, so there's no reason to believe that his value would improve on a different team. On the other hand, Seraphin has a no-trade clause in his contract with the Wizards, so it's unlikely that he would be interested in a move to the lowly Wolves. We will let you know if anything develops, but owners in standard leagues can simply toss this news aside.

Anthony Bennett (knee) barely played on Sunday, committing one personal foul with no statistics to his credit.

Bennett has had a few nice moments this season, but he more often resembles the busted draft pick we remember from Cleveland last year. Deep league owners may want to monitor him as the Wolves drift toward an early summer, but he belongs on the waiver wire.
Jan 25 - 8:46 PM

Anthony Bennett (knee) will be available for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

Bennett doesn't do enough statistically to matter in most leagues, and there's a possibility his minutes are kept in check today. With a difficult matchup vs. the Hawks, and a limited role in Minnesota, Bennett can't be considered an option in almost any league.
Jan 25 - 5:03 PM

Anthony Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

He was unable to practice on Saturday, but there is still no word on how bad the injury is. Bennett will have a limited role in Minnesota as long as Thaddeus Young is active, so his absence won't make a big impact in fantasy leagues. We will pass along further details as they emerge.
Jan 25 - 1:50 PM

Anthony Bennett (knee) did not practice on Saturday.

There's no word of how much he's banged up, but it's not great to hear Bennett is dealing with a knee issue. He had knee problems to start this season, and it was also a problem for him last year. He's more of a deep-league stash in case Thaddeus Young is dealt.
Jan 24 - 5:49 PM

Anthony Bennett "hasn't played very well," according to coach Flip Saunders.

Bennett only sees minutes during garbage time at this point, and it's a familiar refrain from his rookie season in Cleveland. He's played under seven minutes in each of the last two games, and he's not a fantasy option in any format. Robbie Hummel is playing ahead of Bennett in the rotation.

Anthony Bennett went scoreless with four rebounds in 13 minutes during Sunday's four-point loss to the Pacers.

He's struggling with a painful blister beneath a callus on his foot, and the Wolves might opt to bench him for a while until he recovers. For now he remains an active part of Minnesota's rotation, but his lack of recent production makes him a non-entity in fantasy leagues.

Anthony Bennett was limited to just four minutes during Wednesday's game because he is dealing with a painful blister under a callus on his foot.

Bennett was limited during Thursday's practice, and while he hasn't been listed on the injury report yet, we'll consider him questionable for Friday's game vs. the Celtics. He's not worth owning in most leagues.

Anthony Bennett played just four minutes and failed to score on Wednesday.

We haven't heard of an injury and his production has dried up, scoring a total of eight points over his last three games. Maybe he'll get hot again at some point, but for now he probably belongs on your waiver wire since Thaddeus Young is back and taking up all the PF minutes.
