Anthony Bennett (knee) barely played on Sunday, committing one personal foul with no statistics to his credit.
Bennett has had a few nice moments this season, but he more often resembles the busted draft pick we remember from Cleveland last year. Deep league owners may want to monitor him as the Wolves drift toward an early summer, but he belongs on the waiver wire. Jan 25 - 8:46 PM

Date:

Anthony Bennett (knee) will be available for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

Bennett doesn't do enough statistically to matter in most leagues, and there's a possibility his minutes are kept in check today. With a difficult matchup vs. the Hawks, and a limited role in Minnesota, Bennett can't be considered an option in almost any league.

Anthony Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

He was unable to practice on Saturday, but there is still no word on how bad the injury is. Bennett will have a limited role in Minnesota as long as Thaddeus Young is active, so his absence won't make a big impact in fantasy leagues. We will pass along further details as they emerge.

Anthony Bennett (knee) did not practice on Saturday.

There's no word of how much he's banged up, but it's not great to hear Bennett is dealing with a knee issue. He had knee problems to start this season, and it was also a problem for him last year. He's more of a deep-league stash in case Thaddeus Young is dealt.
Jan 24 - 5:49 PM

Anthony Bennett "hasn't played very well," according to coach Flip Saunders.

Bennett only sees minutes during garbage time at this point, and it's a familiar refrain from his rookie season in Cleveland. He's played under seven minutes in each of the last two games, and he's not a fantasy option in any format. Robbie Hummel is playing ahead of Bennett in the rotation.

Anthony Bennett went scoreless with four rebounds in 13 minutes during Sunday's four-point loss to the Pacers.

He's struggling with a painful blister beneath a callus on his foot, and the Wolves might opt to bench him for a while until he recovers. For now he remains an active part of Minnesota's rotation, but his lack of recent production makes him a non-entity in fantasy leagues.

Anthony Bennett was limited to just four minutes during Wednesday's game because he is dealing with a painful blister under a callus on his foot.

Bennett was limited during Thursday's practice, and while he hasn't been listed on the injury report yet, we'll consider him questionable for Friday's game vs. the Celtics. He's not worth owning in most leagues.

Anthony Bennett played just four minutes and failed to score on Wednesday.

We haven't heard of an injury and his production has dried up, scoring a total of eight points over his last three games. Maybe he'll get hot again at some point, but for now he probably belongs on your waiver wire since Thaddeus Young is back and taking up all the PF minutes.

Anthony Bennett's four-game streak of double-digit scoring came to a screeching halt on Sunday, as he scored only two points on 1-of-4 shooting in 11 minutes.

Bennett grabbed six rebounds but this was a flop for anyone who relied on him given his average of 13.3 points over the past four games. Thaddeus Young's return is a direct challenge to Bennett's playing time, and Shabazz Muhammad was on fire off the bench tonight, so coach Flip Saunders decided that Bennett was the odd-man out.

Anthony Bennett moved back to the bench against the Bucks on Wednesday with 12 points, four rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 21 minutes.

The Wolves have to move some guys around, so Bennett could get minutes in the 20s for his versatility. He's probably not quite worthy of ownership in standard leagues, but we'll watch him because he's capable of filling the stat sheet and hasn't really squandered his chances since summer league.

Anthony Bennett moved into the Wolves' starting lineup on Saturday, posting 10 points, six boards, two assists, one steal and two blocks at PF alongside Gorgui Dieng.

Bennett hit 5-of-11 shots and didn't turn the ball over in 30 minutes, which would likely have earned him another start on Wednesday if Thaddeus Young (personal) wasn't expected back in the lineup. Owners in 12-team leagues can leave Bennett on the waiver wire for now, but keep this performance in mind as the season progresses.

Anthony Bennett will start for the Wolves on Saturday, sending Shabazz Muhammad to the bench.

Bennett scored 20 points with three rebounds in 32 minutes of action on Friday and coach Flip Saunders rewarded him with this start, though it's unlikely to last long with Thaddeus Young (personal) targeting a return on Wednesday. Fantasy owners should feel confident deploying Bennett for Saturday's matchup vs. the Kings.
Sat, Nov 22, 2014 07:58:00 PM

Anthony Bennett scored a career-high 20 points against the Spurs on Friday with three rebounds, one assist and three steals in 32 minutes.

He looked great tonight and was more than capable of playing minutes at center off the bench. Bennett only played 14 minutes on Wednesday and he is probably going to see more consistent minutes even when Thaddeus Young (personal) returns next week. Still, he's not worth grabbing in standard leagues.
Fri, Nov 21, 2014 11:09:00 PM

Anthony Bennett came off the bench against the Knicks on Wednesday with six points, three rebounds, one steal and three fouls in 14 minutes.

He was expected to start, but the Wolves went with Shabazz Muhammad. Bennett was a bit lazy with his shot selection and he didn't help his chances for minutes down the line. Muhammad looks like the better player to own in deep leagues.
Thu, Nov 20, 2014 01:54:00 AM

Anthony Bennett is expected to draw the start for Wednesday's game, with Thaddeus Young (personal) not due back until at least Sunday.

Bennett has an excellent chance to make a big impression, and he will likely see big minutes as he and Gorgui Dieng are the only active bigs for Minnesota (unless you count Robbie Hummel). Owners in need of short term value or in daily leagues would be advised to take a flier on Bennett.
