Rudy Gobert made all four shots from the field for 10 points against the Clippers on Wednesday, adding 11 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes.
Believe it or not, this was just his second double-double of the season. On the bright side, he's come back very strong as a scorer since returning from injury five games ago, averaging 9.2 points, 8.8 boards, 1.6 blocks and 1.4 blocks on 72.7 percent from the field and 70.0 percent from the line. His patient owners should be feeling a lot better. Nov 26 - 2:35 AM

Rudy Gobert (bruised tailbone) will play Wednesday against the Clippers, as expected.

Gobert was never really in any danger of missing tonight's game, but now we have official confirmation that he will be in the starting lineup. Make sure you have him active.
Nov 25 - 1:28 PM

Rudy Gobert suffered a tailbone contusion in Monday's loss to the Thunder, finishing with 10 points, five boards, one steal and five turnovers in 25 minutes.

Gobert went to the locker room for a few moments, but he never returned to the game even though he was probable to return. However, the game was an absolute blowout, so the Jazz probably just kept him on the bench as a precaution. We'll put Gobert on the injury report to be safe, but he should be ready to go against the Clippers on Wednesday.
Nov 24 - 12:51 AM

Rudy Gobert has a tailbone contusion and is probable to return to Monday's game vs. the Thunder.

The Thunder are currently destroying the Jazz with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter, so Utah may leave him on the bench. The good news is that Gobert is fine and is simply dealing with a bruise.
Nov 23 - 11:14 PM

Rudy Gobert took a knee to his lower back in Monday's game vs. the Thunder and went back to the locker room.

He was in a little bit of pain, but it didn't look too serious and he is likely just getting a little bit of treatment in the locker room. Stay tuned.
Nov 23 - 11:02 PM

Rudy Gobert put up eight points on 2-of-4 shooting (4-of-5 FTs) during Friday's loss to the Mavs, adding 12 rebounds, one assist, one block, two steals and one turnover through 36 minutes.

Gobert hasn't been a major part of Utah's offense this season (13.6 usage rate), so it'll be tough for him to average double figure numbers in the scoring department. However, he's still putting up early-round value (if punting free throws) behind averages of 11.0 rebounds (career-high), 2.0 assists (career-high) and a whopping 3.2 blocks (career-high) per game on 52.6 percent shooting from the field. He has zero competition for playing time, and he could realistically get better as we progress through the 2015-16 season. Enjoy the ride.
Nov 21 - 1:59 AM

Rudy Gobert said that his sprained left ankle is "pretty much" back to being 100 percent.

"I still feel it a little bit, but I can move well, I can jump well, so I’m good," said Gobert. Rudy returned to action on Sunday, putting up 11 points, 11 boards and three blocks through 38 minutes of playing time, so it doesn't look like the ankle will be much of an issue at all moving forward. Make sure you have him active for a favorable matchup with the Raptors on Wednesday.
Nov 18 - 1:50 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) had 11 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks in his return vs. the Hawks on Sunday.

Utah lost their past three games, two of which came without Gobert, but they quickly snapped that skid with the Stifle Tower anchoring the paint tonight. If you ignore his FT shooting, Gobert is a top-30 value in 8-cat and 9-cat leagues.
Nov 15 - 8:41 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) will return from a two-game absence for Sunday's game vs. the Hawks.

The Hawks are one of the worst teams in the league at guarding the center position, so make sure you have The Stifle Tower active for today's favorable matchup. With Gobert back, Trey Lyles will return to the bench and Trevor Booker's minutes will return to the low-teens.
Nov 15 - 4:37 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) and Rodney Hood (foot) both went through shootaround on Sunday, but both are still questionable to play against the Hawks.

Gobert has missed the Jazz's last two games, but this is a sign that he is getting closer to a return to action. If he is unable to play we can expect to see a lot of Derrick Favors, while rookie Trey Lyles and Trevor Booker will also benefit.
Nov 15 - 11:21 AM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) and Rodney Hood (foot) are questionable to play against the Hawks on Sunday.

Gobert has missed the last two games due to his left ankle sprain, but he was ruled out just 40 minutes before Friday's game. He should be on the good side of a questionable tag as the Jazz really need a win after a three-game losing streak. Trevor Booker should benefit most.
Nov 14 - 5:26 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) will not play against the Magic on Friday.

The Jazz also don't have Rodney Hood (foot) tonight, so they may not be going with as many as three-wing lineups. Trey Lyles should get another start and Trevor Booker will look to bounce back from a goose egg on Thursday. Joe Ingles and Trey Burke should also get minutes tonight with the team still going small quite a bit.
Nov 13 - 6:20 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) is still listed as questionable for Friday's game agains the Magic.

To be clear, Gobert will be a game-time decision, meaning rookie Trey Lyles could get another start if he is unable to play. Trevor Booker will also get some more run off the bench if Gobert can't go, while Derrick Favors would be an intriguing option in DFS.
Nov 13 - 1:49 PM

Rudy Gobert (ankle) will be a game-time decision to face the Magic on Friday.

He was a game-time decision on Thursday and the Jazz probably won't reveal his status until 90 minutes before the game. If he's out, we'll likely see Trey Lyles in the starting lineup again, but he and Trevor Booker didn't provide much tonight. We'll see Derrick Favors do some work while there will be a lot of small-ball lineups, too.
Nov 12 - 11:26 PM

Rudy Gobert (left ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Heat.

With Gobert unavailable, Trevor Booker will likely slide into the starting five, and he'd make for an intriguing punt play in DFS as he can really fill it up when given the minutes. Derrick Favors will get as much run as he can handle, and rookie Trey Lyles could see his minutes rise to the low-teens.
