Rudy Gobert double-doubled with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in Friday's win over the Warriors.
Gobert has been a top 125-150 play during his four-game slump and a top 25-35 guy over the last month. He should be in most if not all lineups. Jan 31 - 2:29 AM

Rudy Gobert played just 10 minutes on Wednesday after getting into some early foul trouble, but still had seven points, three rebounds and a blocked shot.

The 10 minutes are frustrating, but Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter were both great tonight, and Trevor Booker stepped up in Gobert's place when he picked up the fouls. As usual, Gobert is still worth stashing in most leagues, but as long as Kanter and Favors are healthy and playing this well, Gobert is going to be a tough player to put into your lineup.
Jan 29 - 2:54 AM

Rudy Gobert moved back to the bench against the Nets on Saturday with six points, 11 rebounds, two assists and no blocks.

It's his first game of 2015 without a block, but he did attempt his second 3-pointer of his career -- not his shot, obviously. Gobert isn't going to play big minutes, but his block and board rates make him a must-own player. Plus, he's made some strides at the line this season, making 67.3 percent of his 104 attempts this season.
Jan 25 - 12:21 AM

Rudy Gobert started in place of Derrick Favors (personal) and double-doubled against the Bucks on Thursday with 14 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 35 minutes.

His numbers don't increase much with Derrick Favors (personal) out, but this was still a nice outing in a win. The Jazz are just a different team when Gobert is on the floor and it's no surprise his minutes per game are growing. He played just 16 minutes per game in November, 22 minutes in December and is at 30 per game in January. He's arguably the best center under the age of 23 and is a must-start player in fantasy leagues.
Jan 23 - 12:54 AM

Rudy Gobert will draw the start in place of Derrick Favors (personal) on Thursday against the Bucks.

Gobert has been fantastic in most fantasy leagues even when he comes off the bench, so his owners should be in for a wild ride on Thursday. Gobert's minutes should continue to trend up as the season progresses, so it only gets better from here on out.
Jan 22 - 6:49 PM

Rudy Gobert played 20 minutes and hit all three of his shots to finish with six points, seven rebounds, three assists, one block and four fouls on Wednesday.

Enes Kanter started and went off for 24 points and 17 rebounds, and Gobert's foul trouble, along with Kanter's big game, were a bad combination. He's still worth hanging onto if you own him, but is not a must-start player as long as Kanter and Derrick Favors are starting for the Jazz.
Jan 21 - 10:40 PM

Rudy Gobert snagged a career-high 18 rebounds in 29 minutes vs. the Spurs on Sunday, adding 13 points, two assists, four blocks and only one turnover.

He started the second half but coach Quin Snyder claimed the switch has "no long-term implications." Gobert shot 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 from the FT line, and continues to impress despite his (perhaps temporary) move back to Utah's bench. He's swatting a ridiculous 4.2 shots per game in January, to go along with 10.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals, which places him in elite fantasy territory. It's inevitable that Gobert will enter Utah's starting lineup at some point, but he's a must-start player no matter where he begins the game.
Jan 18 - 9:31 PM

Rudy Gobert was his normal terrific self in 25 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring seven points on 3-of-6 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks.

If there is anybody out there that is panicking over Gobert's value now that Enes Kanter is back -- be a good friend and take him off their hands.
Jan 17 - 2:11 AM

Rudy Gobert returned to the bench on Tuesday against the Warriors, but responded by scoring a career-high 16 points with 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks in 32 minutes.

While it was disappointing to see coach Quin Snyder put Enes Kanter back with the first unit, the good news was that Gobert still saw 32 minutes of action. He has simply been too good to keep off the floor and he should continue to see his minutes rise as the season progresses. Gobert is a must-own player in all leagues.
Jan 14 - 12:02 AM

Rudy Gobert played 35 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Rockets, finishing with four points, five boards, three assists, one steal and three blocks.

While his stats were a little underwhelming in this one, the good news was that he started yet again and saw 35 minutes of action despite the return of Enes Kanter (ankle). Gobert will normally be better than this on most nights, but it should be noted that he held Dwight Howard to just eight points on the night. If Gobert continues to start for the Jazz, his owners are going to be in for quite a show as the season progresses.
Jan 11 - 12:14 AM

Rudy Gobert blocked a career-high seven shots and also had three steals, three assists, four points and seven boards in Friday's loss to the Thunder.

Gobert is a walking highlight reel and he's also the real deal, so while his minutes could get cut when Enes Kanter returns there might be a small uprising if the Jazz don't keep him on the floor. He has been a top 15-30 play over the last 15 games in just 26.6 mpg and we have yet to figure out what his ceiling is.
Jan 10 - 1:51 AM

Rudy Gobert stated during a recent interview that he would like to remain a starter for the Jazz.

"Of course I want more," said Gobert. "It’s obvious that I want to start, so I just try to get better on the court and help my team." The Jazz are much better defensively when Gobert is on the floor, as they've allowed just 94.8 points per 100 possessions running with Derrick Favors and Gobert. It will ultimately be head coach Quin Snyder's call, but he'd essentially be ignoring statistics if Enes Kanter returns to the starting lineup when he recovers from his ankle injury.
Jan 8 - 6:09 PM

Rudy Gobert was phenomenal against the Bulls during a blowout 97-77 win on Wednesday with 11 points, 14 boards, two steals and five blocks in 36 minutes.

It's not even fair how good he is right now. The Bulls scored a season low and they could not get any good looks from close range. Gobert is arguably the best rim protector in the NBA and he's just 22 years old. It's abundantly clear he is going to take minutes away from Enes Kanter and Gobert's fantasy owners should not be considering him as a sell-high player. Kanter's owners, on the other hand, should be worried.
Jan 7 - 10:47 PM

Rudy Gobert had a letdown against the Pacers during a 105-101 loss on Monday with 11 points, four rebounds and three blocks in 29 minutes.

He was in some early foul trouble and Roy Hibbert did a nice job on the second-year big man. Despite the weak output tonight, there's no need to worry about Gobert. His fantasy owners can dismiss this line and fire him up against the Bulls on Wednesday.
Jan 6 - 1:36 AM

Rudy Gobert was awesome against the Wolves on Saturday with 13 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and six blocks in 31 minutes.

It's on. The Jazz are just a better team when he's on the court and there's no denying this man playing time anymore. Robert has already one of the best shot blockers in the NBA in just his second season. The sky is the limit and he shouldn't be on any waiver wires right now.
