Giannis Antetokounmpo had another stat-stuffing line against the Magic on Thursday with 10 points, four rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks in 33 minutes.
He didn't turn the ball over either. Antetokounmpo has been a top-100 guy in standard fantasy leagues over the past month while he's slowly but surely increasing his fantasy value. He tends to have more perceived value because everyone loves the Greek Freak, so his owners might be able to trade him for an inflated price. Jan 29 - 11:23 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his selection to the NBA slam-dunk contest by posting 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and one block in a road win vs. the Heat.

His usage rate has fallen to 15.4 percent over the past five games, but he has enough versatility to produce reliable value even when his offense flags. The dip in attempts should be quickly corrected with shot-stealing Ersan Ilyasova suffering a groin injury, and it's worth noting that Giannis logged a team-high 40 minutes on Tuesday. To prepare for the dunk contest, follow the link below to watch some of Antetokounmpo's most impressive jams as a rookie last year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled vs. the Spurs on Sunday, scoring just four points with seven boards, five assists and two steals in 33 minutes.

After only scoring six points vs. the Pistons on Saturday, it was obvious that he wasn't exactly beaming with confidence as he only attempted five shots all game. Antetokounmpo should break out of his slump soon, and his owner might be starting to panic a little bit, so it may not be a bad idea to float out some buy-low offers. The Greek Freak should still be owned in all leagues, and while he will have growing pains, he is only going to get better as the season progresses.
Jan 25 - 9:57 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo turned the ball over a career-high seven times against the Pistons on Saturday with six points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 36 minutes.

It was one of his worst games on offense in quite some time. On the bright side, the defensive output is really coming on strong. Since Christmas, he has 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. Antetokounmpo's efficiency hasn't fallen off either, so he is slowly but surely getting better. He should be owned in all leagues.
Jan 24 - 10:59 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a career-high five steals against the Jazz on Thursday with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.

The defensive numbers weren't there for him to start the season, but he's averaged 3.3 steals per game over his last three. Antetokounmpo's minutes have held steady at around 30 per game and was at 29.8 over his previous 10, averaging 11.1 points, 6.8 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 steals on 50.5 percent from the field. His arrow is pointing up.

Giannis Antetokounmpo looked great against the Knicks during a 95-79 win in London on Thursday, scoring 16 points with five rebounds, two steals and two turnovers.

He had some comments earlier in the week about how the Knicks should play his brother, Thanasis, and maybe the Knicks might be considering it a little more after this gem. Antetokounmpo's shot selection continues to be the headline of his improvements this season. In his last six, he averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 0.2 treys on 51.8 percent from the field. His arrow is pointing up.

Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has put Giannis Antetotounmkpo in touch with former NBA greats Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Dikembu Mutombo.

Kidd is trying to help the 20-year-old's game and putting him in touch with some former greats is part of his plan. "It's a great experience," Kidd said of the conversations. "Giannis wants to be one of the best and we have the opportunity to talk to the best to be able to ask them questions to find out what helped them be successful." While Alphabet can be inconsistent, he's still averaging 10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 steals, and 1.9 blocks over his last 10 games and needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues for his ability to fill up the stat sheet.
Jan 15 - 11:18 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't get benched on Friday with 10 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block on 5-of-9 from the field.

He did not play in the second half and it may have been a nice gesture to allow Nate Wolters to play in his grand finale. Antetkounmpo's efficiency is the big positive at 50 percent from the field this season and now that his defensive stats are popping back up, he has a mid-round ceiling this season, or even higher if the Bucks really turn him loose.
Jan 10 - 3:00 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo was inexplicably benched by Jason Kidd on Wednesday, finishing with seven points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal on 3-of-9 shooting in just 15 minutes.

There was no report of an injury and no explanation from Kidd after the game. Guys who played more minutes than Giannis tonight included, well, the other nine Bucks who played. Johnny O'Bryant and Nate Wolters were two of them, and we can only guess that Kidd felt that Antetokounmpo needed some rest against the hapless Sixers. Don't panic.
Jan 7 - 11:34 PM

Nate Wolters started the second half against the 76ers on Wednesday in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to the Milwaukee broadcast, it was a coach's decision and it is not health related. In other words, coach Jason Kidd is up to his old tricks. Obviously, there's no need to worry about Antetokounmpo beyond tonight.
Jan 7 - 8:39 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo racked up 16 points and 12 rebounds in Tuesday's tough loss to the visiting Suns, shooting 7-of-13 from the field with two assists and one block in 34 minutes.

He has now tied his career-high with 12 rebounds two days in a row, and his solid performance on Tuesday was punctuated by a few gorgeous passes and explosive dunks (follow the link below). The 20-year-old gets better with every game and is a very appealing fantasy option as a go-to option for the playoff-hungry Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo double-doubled in a win over the Knicks on Sunday, finishing with 16 points, 12 boards, two assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

His league-leading streak of games with two or more blocks is now at seven, and there is no end in sight for the Greek Freak. Antetokounmpo also tied his career-high of 12 rebounds on Sunday, and as long as he stays healthy he is only going to get better as the season progresses.
Jan 4 - 10:11 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo blocked four shots in Friday's loss to the Pacers, but hit just 2-of-8 shots for six points with four rebounds in 33 minutes.

Alphabet has a league leading streak of six games with two or more blocks, and the injury to Jabari Parker has really freed him up to tap into all that upside. If he can ever put it all together at the same time, look out.
Jan 3 - 2:05 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo did it all on Wednesday with 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal, three blocks and a 3-pointer on 5-of-11 shooting.

If he ever becomes a confident jump-shooter, look out. As it stands, he still has the potential to carry a fantasy team on any given night, which is exactly what he did with this fat line.

Giannis Antetokounmpo said he can become a great NBA player if he improves his shooting.

"I know if I become a great shooter I'm going to become a great player in this league," Antetokounmpo said. "Nothing can stop me." The 20-year-old has shown flashes of greatness and has taken another step in his development this season with averages of 12.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks on 50.5 percent field goal shooting. While his output can be inconsistent from game to game, Alphabet should be owned in al fantasy leagues.
