Giannis Antetokounmpo was up to his old tricks during a 112-103 victory over the Nets on Saturday, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, five blocks and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
That is his second 5x4 in his last three and third in his last six. Antetokounmpo matched his career high in blocks and his 2.2 per game on the year makes him just one of five players above the 2.0 plateau (Davis, Gobert, Whiteside and Turner). He's an incredible shot blocker with his wingspan and is a rim protector quite often, so blocking two per game could definitely happen this year. He's one of the most fun players to own in a long time with first-round value to go with it. Dec 3 - 8:29 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo went berserk during a 111-93 win over the Nets on Thursday, scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in just 30 minutes.

The steals numbers are off the charts and it's moved Giannis to No. 3 in steals per game while he's also fifth in blocks per outing. Antetokounmpo made a season-high two treys in this game and hit his first corner trey, which make have lead to some post-game talk on his shooting. After the game, Giannis said he's been invited to work out with Dirk Nowitzki next summer and Giannis also talked about his shot. "My main focus is to shoot without hesitating," Antetokounmpo said. "That's my main focus right now. I don't care if it goes in or it goes out. I just shoot. I have nothing to lose. Just let it fly." If he develops a strong shot, no team is safe.

Giannis Antetokounmpo matched his career-high with 34 points on 13-of-19 shooting in a 118-101 win over the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

He posted a monster line with 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals, two blocks, one triple and six turnovers, hitting 7-of-10 from the line. He's also outscored LeBron James in three out of his last four matchups with the Finals MVP. The 21-year-old superstar will be a top-five fantasy play the rest of the way
Nov 29 - 11:03 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo helped the Bucks improve to 2-4 on the road with a win in Orlando on Sunday, posting 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting, nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Giannis has played 46 minutes without a true center on the court this season. Milwaukee has scored a whopping 124 points per 100 possessions in that time, with 63.5 percent True Shooting. They've also held opponents to just 39.5 percent shooting in that limited sample, so it's possible that we'll start to see more small-ball from Jason Kidd. Giannis fared well in extended minutes alongside John Henson tonight, however, and he's simply a fantasy stud regardless of the Bucks' rotations.

Nov 27 - 9:50 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo was terrific in a tough home loss on Friday, scoring a game-high 29 points on 12-of-17 shooting with 11 assists and six rebounds.

The Bucks hung tough with the Raptors but they were playing from behind all night, and they couldn't quite get over the hump. Tonight's result is more of the same for Antetokounmpo's owners, who have been spoiled by averages of 21.8 points, 8.5 boards, 5.8 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.2 blocks. The defensive stats are key and he'd be vying for top-overall fantasy honors if he made more 3-pointers (0.4) and bumped up his 78.6 percent FT shooting.
Nov 25 - 10:40 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-doubled in Monday's 93-89 win over the Magic on Monday, scoring 21 points (6-of-13 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs) with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, five steals and three blocks 39 minutes.

Coach Jason Kidd actually benched both Giannis and Jabari Parker early in the first quarter after a sluggish start, so give him some credit for responding in a big way. The Greek Freak joins Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players in NBA history to record a line of 21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks, so this is exactly why we say he has no ceiling in fantasy.
Nov 22 - 12:34 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo bounced back from an off night to hit 10-of-23 shots, a 3-pointer and 9-of-11 free throws for 30 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block in Saturday's tough loss to the Warriors.

The Freak is having a big year and living up to the hype, despite scoring just 14 points on Thursday night. The Warriors won the game, in part, because they knew what inbounds play the Bucks were running with the game on the line. "They only run two plays," Draymond Green said after the game. And they knew which one the Bucks were going to run based on where Giannis was lined up. Either way, the Bucks game them a scare and Giannis is a fantasy beast.
Nov 20 - 12:43 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored just 14 points against the Heat during a 96-73 loss on Thursday, adding seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 36 minutes.

Miami's defense turned him into a jump shooter and it worked with Antetokounmpo only going 5-of-15 from the field. In other news, coach Jason Kidd is using the Greek Freak more at center, which helps explain why Greg Monroe has played just seven minutes combined in his last two. Even after this sub-par game, Antetokounmpo is posting first-round value this season.
Nov 17 - 10:34 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo filled it up as per usual during a 107-100 loss to the Hawks on Wednesday, scoring 26 points with 15 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks in 40 minutes.

It's the third 25-15 game of his career and just one board off his career high. Antetokounmpo is going off on almost a nightly basis, averaging 21.8 points, 8.9 boards, 5.5 assists, 1.9 steals, 2.1 blocks and 0.4 treys on 51.8 percent from the field and 74.6 percent from the line on the season. The Greek Freak is holding steady as a top-eight player in standard leagues.
Nov 17 - 12:20 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo went bonkers during a 106-96 win over the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring 27 points with six rebounds, five assists, four steals, four blocks and five turnovers in 38 minutes.

Giddy up for the 5x4, Mr. Greek Freak. Antetokounmpo is eating in November like it's Thanksgiving already, averaging 20.5 points, 7.8 boards, 5.3 assists, 2.5 steals, 2.2 blocks and 0.3 treys on 52.9 percent from the field and 72.5 percent from the line. He's a top-eight player right now and he's climbing. Enjoy the ride.
Nov 13 - 2:01 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 17 points against the Pelicans on Thursday with 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 35 minutes.

He made 7-of-16 from the field with the Pelicans forcing him to take more jumpers than usual. Antetokounmpo has suddenly seen his assists take a major dip with only three combined in his last two. There's nothing to worry about here and his two-plus blocks in six of his last seven game more than make up for it.
Nov 10 - 11:06 PM

The Bucks' three-game winning streak was snapped on Sunday, with Giannis Antetokounmpo posting just 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists in 26 foul-plagued minutes.

Antetokounmpo did hit a 3-pointer with three steals and two blocks, so it could have been much worse, but the Greek Freak is judged by different standards. The Bucks draw a great matchup at home vs. the winless Pelicans on Thursday, during which the only concern for Giannis' owners will be the possibility of a blowout.
Nov 6 - 10:28 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo filled the stat sheet as per usual during a 125-107 victory over the Pacers on Thursday, scoring 27 points with seven rebounds, nine assists, two steals, two blocks and four turnovers.

He was 11-of-18 from the field and put on a scoring display, dropping more Euros than a clumsy Greek bank teller. The PGiannis story isn't going away and coach Jason Kidd seems to be adding more halfcourt plays for him by design and as just isolations. Even before this gem, Antetokounmpo averaged 23.3 points, 9.3 boards, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 2.0 blocks and 0.8 treys in his previous four. He didn't get the nickname the Greek Freak for no reason.
Nov 3 - 11:16 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, two blocks and one trey in Tuesday's 117-113 win over the Pelicans.

He's something else. Antetokounmpo was in foul trouble for most of the night, but still played 34 minutes and shot 10-of-19 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line. This was his third 3-pointer through four games, and while it's still very early, it looks like he was worth his first-round price.
Nov 1 - 11:28 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo filled it up during a 110-108 win over the Nets on Saturday, scoring 21 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 35 minutes.

And that is why he went in the first round. Antetokounmpo can fill a stat sheet like nobody else. He made 10-of-18 from the field and his lone free throw attempt. The Greek Freak is destroying opponents in transition and is good for about 2-3 coast-to-coast buckets per game. He's going to be great for a long, long time. Almost as long as his wingspan, in fact.
