Giannis Antetokounmpo said that he wants to stay with the Bucks "forever."
"You never know how life turns out," Antetokounmpo said. "Three years ago I was thinking that I might be playing for Filathlitikos forever! All of a sudden, the draft emerged, the NBA, the Bucks and everything that followed. I don’t know how I’ll be feeling and thinking in two, three or more years. Right now I feel like I want to play for the Milwaukee Bucks forever." Bucks fans will be thrilled to hear the Greek Freak's passion about the franchise, and it will be a lot of fun to watch his game continue to grow under head coach Jason Kidd. Jul 17 - 12:40 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo said that the Bucks need to acquire a "top class big man."

"I think we need a top class big man," Antetokounmpo said. "We have Zaza Pachulia who really knows how to play basketball and John Henson who will keep getting better and better and some other big guys with potential. But we need an athletic, top class big man. Who will be able to finish plays, score and play effective defense. Who will have the skills to function as the rim protector and set good screens." The Bucks have been linked with Brook Lopez and Tyson Chandler this summer, and it's also possible that they target a big in this year's draft. The Bucks are one of the most improved teams in the league and will have plenty of cap space with Ersan Ilyasova going to Detroit, so this will be a crucial summer for them if they want to take the next step.

The Bucks hope that Giannis Antetokounmpo can develop a 3-point shot this offseason.

At just 20-years-old, Giannis still has plenty of time to develop, and adding a 3-point shot to his game could make him an absolute stud in fantasy hoops. Antetokounmpo put in averages of 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.0 block per game on 49.1 percent shooting during the 2014-15 season, however, he shot just 15.9 percent from beyond the arc. Adding 3-point range to his game will be an important piece to Giannis’ development.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been suspended for the first game of next season for "running over" Mike Dunleavy.

It was an expected move and at least Giannis didn't get more than one game. Antetokounmpo joins Kelly Olynyk to get a suspension to start next season. He's expected to play in summer league where he'll likely be working on his perimeter game. Antetokounmpo is going to be pricey in drafts next season, but it might be worth it.
May 2 - 2:36 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo said he's willing to play in summer league.

Last summer, Antetokounmpo playing point guard in Las Vegas was one of the biggest NBA stories of the month. That didn't really come to fruition during the regular season, though. Expect the Bucks to really focus on Giannis' range. Additionally, there's a chance he's suspended to start the season.
May 1 - 4:46 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo called his flagrant 2 foul against Mike Dunleavy during Game 6 "a bad play," and said he intends to apologize to Dunleavy.

"It was a bad play by me. It is not going to happen again," said Giannis. The Greek Freak acknowledged that he expects to receive a suspension from the league for his actions during Game 6, and that suspension would be served during the start of the 2015-16 season. Antetokounmpo took a big step during his sophomore season, putting in averages of 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.0 block per game on 49.1 percent shooting from the field. If he could develop a 3-point shot this offseason, he could emerge as a very valuable asset in standard leagues.
May 1 - 11:53 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected in the second quarter on Thursday for a flagrant 2 foul.

It was warranted and his season is over unless the Bucks somehow come to life. In just 15 minutes on Thursday, Antetokounmpo finished with five points, three rebounds, two assists and one block. He really thrived around the basket and in transition this season, so adding a perimeter game is the last piece of the puzzle for his offense.
Apr 30 - 8:12 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo logged 51 minutes against the Bulls during a double-overtime 113-106 loss on Thursday, scoring 25 points with 12 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three turnovers.

He was red hot in the beginning of the game and entered halftime with 17 points. Antetokounmpo scored just six points in Game 2 and he was extremely aggressive in this loss, but he was tightly defended for most of his shots in the second half and in OT. Looking ahead, the big question for the Greek Freak this summer will be if he can develop a jumper. Last year, we were all hoping he'd perform better at the rim to improve his efficiency and he didn't let us down, so he certainly is capable of extending his range. He's 20 years old.
Apr 23 - 11:28 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored just six points during a 91-82 loss to the Bulls on Monday, adding 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks on 2-of-11 from the field.

The Bulls were able to keep him out of the paint and he was a little hesitant in transition. Antetokounmpo made just 4-of-13 from the field in Game 1 and he averaged just 9.8 points on 41.7 percent from the field against the Bulls in four regular season games, so his offensive struggles don't come as a surprise. He'll look to improve at home for Game 3 on Thursday.
Apr 20 - 10:47 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo hit just 1-of-6 shots for three points, three rebounds and four assists in Wednesday's loss to the Celtics to end Milwaukee's regular season.

Michael Carter-Williams wasn't much better, hitting 2-of-8 shots for seven points, five rebounds and five assists. The two came in playing pretty well, so tonight's meltdowns were a surprise. Both of them should be back and ready to go for the playoffs, which will start on Saturday when the Bucks visit the Bulls.
Apr 16 - 12:24 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 12 points with seven rebounds, three assists and one turnover in 34 minutes against the 76ers on Monday.

Coach Jason Kidd said today that he's not going to rest players in the season finale even though the Bucks have nothing to play for. Antetokounmpo isn't having a strong finish to his season, averaging 14.0 points, 7.0 boards, 2.8 assists, 0.3 steals and no treys on 38.8 percent from the field in his last four. He'll look to turn it around against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Apr 14 - 12:39 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a well-rounded game vs. the Nets on Sunday with 13 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block.

He played 30 minutes and ideally this wouldn't be worth reporting, but it warrants attention after Jason Kidd inexplicably gave Giannis a DNP-CD on Wednesday. The news that Jared Dudley is likely to sit out the Bucks' final two games suggests that Antetokounmpo will be playing all the minutes he can handle at SF.
Apr 12 - 5:50 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the lineup after Wednesday's mysterious DNP-Kidd, scoring 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting (9-of-11 FTs) with nine rebounds and one block in 31 minutes.

Antetokounmpo left the locker room without talking to reporters and that will only add to the intrigue here, but fantasy owners should be relatively optimistic that whatever the issue was isn't going to be an issue going forward.
Apr 11 - 12:55 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

The best explanation for why Antetokounmpo sat out Wednesday's game was it was head coach Jason Kidd's decision, and we're not going to get a much better answer than that. It is what it is, and he'll be back with the starters tonight. Go ahead and get him active. Jared Dudley will head back to the bench, and he's not worth owning in most leagues.
Apr 10 - 11:38 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo went through a full practice on Thursday, and he is expected to play Friday vs. the Knicks.

The world may never know exactly why Giannis picked up a DNP-CD on Wednesday, but it sounds like he'll be back in action on Friday with a favorable matchup against the Knicks. Giannis said he'll use Wednesday's benching as motivation, so he may have a big night tomorrow in New York. Still, owners should check back for another update on Alphabet closer to Friday's tip.
