The Pistons are expected to pick up Reggie Bullock's team option for 2018-19.
The Pistons don't have much cap space and do not have a first-round pick, so it's a no-brainer for them to bring back Bullock at just $2.5 million. He averaged career-highs in points (11.3), rebounds (2.5), assists (1.5) and treys (2.0) last season, but his role in 2018-19 hinges on the development of guys like Luke Kennard and Stanley Johnson. Reggie Bullock (knee) will be shut down for the remainder of the season.

We are still awaiting details on the nature of the injury, as Bullock hadn't dealt with any knee issues since last October. Bullock played well for the Pistons in 2017-18, averaging career-highs in points (11.3), rebounds (2.5), assists (1.5) and treys (2.0). Luke Kennard will start the remaining four games of the season for Detroit. Stanley Johnson will likely log a few extra minutes as well.
Apr 6 - 11:26 AM

Reggie Bullock scored 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting Wednesday, to go with four 3-pointers, three rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 31 minutes.

He’s been a steady mid-round guy for well over a month now with averages of 14.5 points, 2.5 triples, 2.0 assists and 1.2 turnovers per game on 46.9% shooting over 32.5 minutes a night, although with Detroit now mathematically eliminated from the postseason, he could start losing minutes to Luke Kennard. Stanley Johnson finished with 19 points, two triples, five boards, four dimes, three steals and five turnovers in 33 minutes, and he too is in danger of losing playing time to Kennard as the season winds down.
Apr 4 - 10:05 PM

Reggie Bullock scored 17 points with four assists and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday.

A car accident caused a back injury to keep him out Tuesday, but he was back to normal here. He's had a productive year all season and is probably the No. 2 positive story for the Pistons after Andre Drummond. Bullock is doing enough in points and treys with solid efficiency to be held in standard leagues.
Mar 16 - 12:05 AM

Reggie Bullock (back) will start against the Nuggets on Thursday.

He had a back injury due to a car accident on Sunday and he needed to miss Tuesday, but he gets the green light even before shootaround. Bullock did miss a couple practices, so there's a small chance his minutes aren't in the upper 30s. Still, he should get enough shots to use in standard leagues.
Mar 15 - 2:21 PM

Reggie Bullock (back spasms) will not play vs. the Jazz on Tuesday as expected.

The Pistons will start with Stanley Johnson and James Ennis on the wings with Luke Kennard picking up extra minutes off the bench. Bullock was on fire before he tweaked his back in a minor car accident, averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.8 triples in March.
Mar 13 - 8:03 PM

Coach Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Bullock (back spasms) is doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. Utah.

Bullock missed practice on Sunday and Monday after being involved in a minor car accident over the weekend. Stanley Johnson (back) is returning to the lineup on Tuesday and will soak up additional minutes, along with James Ennis and Luke Kennard.
Mar 13 - 1:26 PM

Reggie Bullock (back spasms) missed his second straight practice on Monday.

He was involved in a car accident on Sunday morning, but walked away with a minor back issue. He was able to do some light shooting on the side, but for now he should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz. Stanley Johnson (back), James Ennis and Luke Kennard will pick up some run if Bullock can't go, but you can't trust any of those guys in a 10- or 12-team league.
Mar 12 - 1:40 PM

Reggie Bullock was involved in a minor car accident on Sunday morning.

He does have some minor back spasms which kept him out of practice, but Bullock is reportedly doing OK. For now, we'll consider him probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz. He's been on fire in March, averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.8 triples.
Mar 11 - 1:00 PM

Reggie Bullock scored 21 points with three rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Bulls on Friday.

His usage is there and he is firing away with 7.2 attempts from deep over his last five, averaging 17.0 points, 4.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.8 made treys. Bullock doesn't do much besides score, but fantasy owners will gladly take this. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Mar 9 - 9:46 PM

Reggie Bullock scored 21 points in a losing effort on Wednesday, making 7-of-13 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs with three 3-pointers, four assists, three rebounds and one turnover in 39 minutes.

Bullock barely caught the rim on a wide-open 3-pointer at the end of overtime, but fantasy owners aren't complaining. He's averaging 15.1 points per game since the All-Star break, which is worth admiring -- only 67 players in the league are averaging 15+ points this season. He's a viable fantasy play as long as he's getting substantial minutes and offensive volume.
Mar 8 - 12:07 AM

Reggie Bullock made 7-of-21 from the field for 21 points with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes against the Magic on Friday.

He's getting a ton of shots right now to help open up the offense. Since the break, Bullock has attempted a whopping 14.8 field goals per game with averages of 15.6 points, 2.6 boards,2.2 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.4 treys on 40.5 percent from the field. He's not the sexiest asset in fantasy, but he is producing.
Mar 2 - 9:41 PM

Reggie Bullock went 5-of-14 from the field and 3-of-4 from the stripe on his way to 14 points, one 3-pointer, three rebounds, five assists and one turnover in 30 minutes.

The Pistons came out fairly flat in this one, and Bullock struggled to get going due to some tough defense from Nicolas Batum, missing his first four shots and not connecting from beyond the arc until mid-way through the third quarter. As a team, Detroit only put in four 3-pointers on 4-of-18 shooting, which was a season-low and helped contribute to the blowout loss.
Feb 25 - 3:34 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) played 31 minutes against the Celtics on Friday, making 5-of-13 from the field for 13 points with one rebound, one assist, one block and three 3-pointers.

He attempted nine shots from deep and he continues to be the main floor spacer in the first unit. Bullock's minutes aren't going anywhere and he'll have a chance to flirt with 3.0 treys per game in the second half. He should be owned in standard leagues.
Feb 23 - 9:14 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) is starting on Friday against the Celtics.

He did miss practice on Wednesday, but he's been expected to play since Thursday. Bullock should continue to score in the teens with plenty of threes along the way, making him someone who should be owned in most leagues.
