Stan Van Gundy said that both Reggie Bullock and Darrun Hilliard offer something unique to the second unit.
"Darrun gives us a guy who can make plays off the dribble probably better than anybody on our team other than Reggie Jackson or Ish [Smith], Van Gundy said. "He and Stanley [Johnson] would be the two guys, but Darrun’s probably the best of the non-point guards on our roster. And then Reggie Bullock really emerged as our best perimeter shooter." SVG likes what both players have to offer, but they will have a limited role right out of the gate with Johnson expected to see the bulk of the wing minutes off the bench. Aug 29 - 10:26 AM

The Pistons are open to extending Reggie Bullock's contract.

According to this Detroit Free Press report, talks have not started between the Pistons and Bullock. Detroit traded away Jodie Meeks and Darrun Hilliard (back) is still up in the air for camp. There is a chance Bullock could get in the rotation next year, but he's not a fantasy target in even the deepest of leagues.
Aug 15 - 4:41 PM

Reggie Bullock (leg) will not play vs. the Cavaliers on Sunday.

Bullock has an inflamed nerve in his left leg and could miss more time. His absence doesn't have a big impact on the Pistons' rotation, though it could shift extra minutes to Stanley Johnson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Apr 24 - 6:56 PM

Reggie Bullock (leg) is doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Cavaliers.

He had an MRI on Saturday and coach Stan Van Gundy revealed that Bullock is dealing with a nerve issue in his left leg. It sounds like he could miss additional time as well, so there could be a few more minutes heading Stanley Johnson's way.

Reggie Bullock (leg) is scheduled to have an MRI on Saturday.

He has a nerve issue in his left leg and missed Game 3. That allowed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to get some extra run. Bullock seems like he might be out for Game 4.
Apr 23 - 3:28 PM

Reggie Bullock (leg) will not play on Friday against the Cavs.

He has a nerve issue with his left leg. He actually played 11.0 minutes per game in the past two, so there could be some minutes going to guys like Stanley Johnson.
Apr 22 - 7:07 PM

Reggie Bullock bounced back from a few duds to finish Wednesday's game with 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting, eight rebounds, four assists and just one turnover in 38 minutes.

Bullock was a combined 1-of-5 from the field in his previous two games but the lid came off the basket tonight, and three of his makes were from downtown. For what it's worth, Bullock still seems to have the edge on Stanley Johnson for backup swingman minutes.
Apr 13 - 11:39 PM

Reggie Bullock looked great in 27 minutes off Detroit's bench, chipping in 13 points, six assists, three rebounds, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers, all without any turnovers.

Bullock's strong play reduced Stanley Johnson to a DNP-CD tonight, but it's hard to imagine Bullock helping fantasy owners in the handful of games that remain. He averaged 3.0 minutes in his previous two appearances and can be left on the wire in all formats.
Apr 6 - 10:17 PM

Reggie Bullock played two minutes in his return from illness on Friday with one foul.

He only played in garbage time in this one. Bullock can remain on the wire in most leagues and doesn't have much appeal in deep Dynasty either.
Mar 25 - 11:02 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) is available for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (illness) is also back, so there won't be many minutes available for Bullock. He belongs on the wire in most leagues.
Mar 25 - 12:06 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) was a full participant during Thursday's light practice.

The Pistons just did some weight lifting and light shooting, but Bullock's participation is a good sign that he'll be available for Friday's game vs. the Hornets. Bullock is not a fantasy option in most leagues, though.
Mar 24 - 2:20 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) will not play against the Magic on Wednesday.

That means it should be a two-man show at shooting guard with Stanley Johnson and Darrun Hilliard. Johnson should be getting the start with plenty of minutes headed his way. Bullock doesn't have much fantasy value and should be back for the weekend.
Mar 23 - 4:29 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

Bullock's minutes having been trending down into the low-teens over the past five, so his potential absence from tonight's game won't have a major impact in fantasy hoops. Perhaps Darrun Hilliard plays more, but that doesn't mean much. Check back for official confirmation on Bullock's status closer to the tip.
Mar 23 - 12:46 PM

Reggie Bullock scored 11 points on 3-of-3 shooting (all 3-pointers) with seven boards and two assists in 26 minutes vs. the Blazers on Sunday.

He gave the Pistons a spark off the bench tonight and he is enjoying some extra minutes in the rotation with Stanley Johnson nursing a shoulder injury. Bullock will lose most of his value when Johnson returns and Jodie Meeks (DNP-CD) will likely crack the rotation as well, so he’s only worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues.
Mar 6 - 8:37 PM

Reggie Bullock (nose) will play on Saturday vs. the Bucks.

He broke his nose on Wednesday when he went off for a career-high 16 points with three triples in 26 minutes. Bullock may continue to be in the rotation with Stanley Johnson (shoulder) out for a couple of weeks, but he would need to have another solid performance before we could get behind an add in deeper leagues.
