Ricky Ledo was a DNP-CD on Saturday against the Magic.
Tim Hardaway Jr. and Cleanthony Early were back and Ledo was the odd man out. He'll need a very strong summer to have a chance for regular minutes next season. Apr 11 - 9:51 PM

Ricky Ledo scored two points on 1-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, one steal and one block in 16 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Ricky Ledo has really only had one 'Ricky Ledo' game and owners might not want to hold their breath waiting for the next one. If you're on a hope and a prayer, he does have lottery ticket appeal though.
Apr 11 - 1:08 AM

Ricky Ledo played 22 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday, making 2-of-7 from the field for six points with one rebound, three assists, one steal and one turnover.

He was 2-of-4 from the line and is right back to being very inefficient. Ledo gave us some hope back on Apr. 3 with a career-high 21 points, but he's struggled badly in his last two. He might have a big game in at least one of the remaining games this season, but it's almost impossible to predict when that'll be.
Apr 8 - 11:45 PM

The Knicks signed G Ricky Ledo for the remainder of the season on Wednesday.

Ledo has played pretty well for the Knicks and is averaging 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds through eight appearances. His minutes were held in check vs. the 76ers on Sunday mainly due to Tim Hardaway Jr. taking back his minutes, so Ledo is only an option in deeper leagues.

Apr 8 - 11:10 AM

Ricky Ledo scored a career-high 21 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 6-of-13 shots (2-of-4 from deep, 7-of-8 from the line) with nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 32 minutes.

It could be time for the Ricky Ledo show and when things are good it could very well look like this. He'll have issues with his efficiency and it's not clear if he'll be fully unleashed, but this is a good enough sign for him to be given a close look as a pickup.
Apr 3 - 11:33 PM

Ricky Ledo hit 4-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 13 points, six rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes on Wednesday.

Like teammate Cleanthony Early, Ledo is suddenly making some noise for the Knicks, averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 3-pointers over his last four games. If you're in a deep league and looking for some points, boards and threes, he might be able to help.
Apr 1 - 11:35 PM

The Knicks have signed Ricky Ledo to a second 10-day contract.

Ledo has seen his minutes steadily increase playing for a Knicks squad that has been devastated by injuries. However, he doesn't shoot a good percentage (35.9 percent from the field) and his turnovers are a problem (2.6 turnovers per game), so he's still not worth owning in standard leagues. Owners in very deep leagues desperate for some points and 3-point shooting can give him a look.
Mar 29 - 3:18 PM

Ricky Ledo played a career-high 29 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He's going to get minutes and this was his third consecutive game with at least 20. Ledo may have the inside track for bench minutes right now because Cleanthony Early can't seem to show any sort of consistency. Ledo is still only worth a look in deep leagues for now.
Mar 28 - 10:38 PM

Head coach Derek Fisher is still encouraging Ricky Ledo to be aggressive despite his high number of turnovers.

Ledo has turned the ball over a combined 10 times in the past two games, but Fisher acknowledged that he will have a learning curve in the NBA. "I think he’s trying to be aggressive and make plays,’’ Fisher said. "You don’t want to turn it over that many times. I don’t know if you want to dial back the aggression. We need to continue to have guys willing to get in there and try to attack and make plays. He’s still getting comfortable offensively. I don’t think it’s about reining him in, just having him understand his options in those situations." Due to injuries to Alexey Shved, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jose Calderon, Ledo will likely get another 10-day contract on Sunday and should have plenty of opportunities to improve. That being said, Ledo is only worth monitoring in deeper leagues.
Mar 28 - 10:56 AM

Ricky Ledo came off the bench for 12 points, three rebounds, a steal and two 3-pointers on 5-of-14 shooting in Wednesday's brutal loss.

The Knicks are so bad that Ledo was one of their leading scorers tonight. He could have a good game or two, but it's hard to imagine him doing enough consistently to be worth owning.
Mar 26 - 12:06 AM

Ricky Ledo played just nine minutes on Monday and had only one rebound to his stat line.

Ledo certainly looked lost out there and wasn't thrown into the fire with Alexey Shved (ribs) like many had hoped for. Look for the Knicks to slowly step up his minutes and he should be watched closely down the stretch. Shved could return as soon as Wednesday's game.
Mar 23 - 11:06 PM

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban praised the Knicks for taking a chance on Ricky Ledo.

"Ricky deserves to be in the NBA,’’ Cuban said. "He is incredibly talented. Because we are trying to compete for a championship, we really weren’t in a position to give him minutes to help his development. I think with playing time he will get better and better and could be a steal for the Knicks.’’ Ledo has an excellent opportunity to carve out a role on the lowly Knicks, and he still has a lot of potential. With Tim Hardaway Jr. struggling with a wrist injury, owners in deeper leagues should monitor Ledo closely in the coming week.
Mar 21 - 10:07 AM

Knicks' head coach Derek Fisher said that Ricky Ledo will have the opportunity to become a rotation player for the Knicks this season.

"[Ledo's] here with us now. I’ll only be able to base my opinion on what he can do here. He just hasn’t gotten the chance. He’ll get the chance here," said Fisher. Ledo picked up a DNP-CD during Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, but Phil Jackson likes big guards, and at 6-foot-7, Ledo fits the description. He'll have to earn his minutes in New York, but with his competition going by the names of Shane Larkin and Langston Galloway, it'll be now or never for Ledo. However, until he becomes a steady rotation player for New York, Ledo belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Mar 20 - 9:28 AM

Ricky Ledo was a DNP-CD on Thursday.

He's apparently only on the team as an emergency guy. Ledo loves to be the guy making the plays for the Knicks and doesn't really share the ball, so maybe he'll have impress his coach before he gets some run.
Mar 19 - 10:14 PM

Ricky Ledo will be available for Thursday's game vs. the Timberwolves, but head coach Derek Fisher would not commit to whether or not he will play.

This is a situation that should be avoided in standard leagues. Ledo may or may not be able to carve out a role with the Knicks, but for now, owners can watch this situation develop from the waiver wire.
