Coach Mark Cuban said he can see Ricky Ledo getting a lot more playing time this season.
Interesting. He is a turnover machine and takes bad shots all the time, but has a ton of talent. At Las Vegas Summer League in 2014, Ledo turned the ball over 3.6 times per game and shot only 32.4 percent from the field. He'll need a miracle to be a consistent fantasy asset. Sep 26 - 2:06 PM

Ricky Ledo is heading into his sophomore season with confidence.

"I can be a valuable asset to the team. They made a good pick in me," said Ledo in a recent interview. "Just my overall game. I can pass the ball, I can play one through three and just keep pushing it, being a young person who just keeps working hard." The Mavs have a rather crowded backcourt this season with the additions of Jameer Nelson, and Raymond Felton, but Ledo could get some minutes backing up Monta Ellis at the shooting guard position. However, Ledo is unlikely to be a fantasy asset in standard leagues.

Ricky Ledo hit five 3-pointers vs. the Wolves on Saturday, scoring a total of 21 points with three boards, three assists, three turnovers and five fouls.

When it comes to Ledo, you have to take the good with the bad. He got hot from deep today and was given a lot of space. Ledo had a really bad opener on Friday due to poor shot selection, which is his biggest issue. If he can string some games together, maybe the Mavericks put him on the roster.
Jul 12 - 8:46 PM

Ricky Ledo turned the ball over five times vs. the Knicks on Friday, shooting just 4-of-14 from the field for 14 points with five boards, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He shot just 5-of-9 from the line and really didn't keep his cool out there. Ledo has a reputation as a bull in a china shop, and he still really needs to not force plays. The talent is there, but he's a long way from being a solid player.
Jul 11 - 6:48 PM

Ricky Ledo has been recalled for Friday's game against the Kings.

The Mavericks have an extra roster spot for tonight with Shawn Marion (shoulder) out, but Ledo will just be an emergency guy. He is really fun to watch and likes to dominate the ball when he's out there, but shooting just 39.8 percent in the D-League this season indicates he's not ready for a regular role any time soon.

The Mavericks have recalled Ricky Ledo from the D-League.

Ledo isn’t worth consideration in fantasy leagues until he cracks the Mavericks rotation. He has the skill set to contribute and could get a look if Shawn Marion misses time with his ankle injury. Ledo averaged 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in 29.8 minutes over 14 games for the Legends.
Jan 6 - 11:30 AM

As expected, the Mavericks have assigned rookie SG Ricky Ledo to the D-League.

He's barely playing in garbage time with Dallas, but he'll get far more opportunities as part of the Texas Legends' roster.

The Mavericks will send Ricky Ledo to the D-League at some point.

He needs the playing time and is a bit of a raw talent. Ledo has a lot of flash to his game, so playing with the Texas Legends can help him develop into a more well-rounded guy. If he can develop a shot, the rookie could eventually crack the Mavs rotation.

Ricky Ledo suffered a sprained right ankle in practice on Tuesday and he will not play on Wednesday.

He's a fun player to watch with his energy on the offensive end, but he'll be more of a project for the Mavs. Ledo shot just 1-of-4 in Monday's preseason game against the Magic.

Ricky Ledo's contract is a four-year deal with the last three years at the minimum and the first two years guaranteed.

He put up some red flags after sitting out last year at Providence for academic reasons and also went to four different high schools. However, he was one of the most creative players with the ball in Vegas and he can break down defenders off the dribble. If and when he gets minutes, he'll be a fun player to watch.

The Mavericks signed second-round pick Ricky Ledo.

Ledo was the 43rd overall pick in June's draft. The former top high school prospect never played at Providence, making his game a bit of a mystery heading into the draft. He'll likely spend this season working in the D-League.

Milwaukee took Providence SG Ricky Ledo for the Mavericks with the 43rd pick in the NBA Draft.

Ledo is a super sleeper because no one has seen him play in a real game in quite some time, as he never played for Providence. He also attended four different high schools in four years, but the bottom line is the he can play.

Several teams believe Ricky Ledo is the draft's biggest sleeper, according to ESPN's Chad Ford.

Take it with a major grain of salt. Sleeper has an unclear definition and prospects are regularly overhyped at this time of year, so we're not putting a ton of stock into it. That being said, Ledo could emerge as one of the better value picks in the draft, but teams are also reportedly scared of Ledo having "a number of things in this off-the-court life."
