2013 second-round pick Lorenzo Brown to sign a one-year contract with the Pistons.

The deal is for Brown to join the Pistons training camp. He was released by the Italian club Reyer Venezia earlier this month, and will now try to work his way back into the NBA. With any luck, he will likely bounce around the D-League for most of the season, perhaps with a few call-ups to an NBA roster.

Reyer Venezia is planning to release Lorenzo Brown before the start of the season.

There are no further details available on why the team is planning to release Brown, but it would mark an extremely short stay in Italy for the 24-year-old. Brown was released by the 76ers in March and seemingly has a long road back to the NBA in front of him.

The Sixers recalled Lorenzo Brown for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

He was sent down to the Delaware 87ers last week and is unlikely to be in the rotation. Brown has no fantasy value.
Feb 5 - 4:40 PM

The 76ers have assigned PG Lorenzo Brown to the D-League.

He has filled a useful role when injuries strike the Sixers' backcourt, but with Michael Carter-Williams healthy and Tony Wroten (ankle) recently returned to the lineup, it makes sense for Brown to get some playing time with the Delaware 87ers.
Jan 27 - 10:51 AM

The 76ers have assigned Lorenzo Brown to the D-League.

Brown has proven turnover-prone in a limited backup role this season, and there's no spot for him on the active roster with Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Wroten both healthy.

The Sixers signed Lorenzo Brown and he will be available for Wednesday's game.

He was drafted at 52 out of NC State by the Timberwolves and the shallow Sixers roster will give him a chance to show what he can do. Brown has no fantasy value.

The Timberwolves, keeping with tradition, took point guard Lorenzo Brown out of N.C. State with the 52nd pick in the draft.

Lo-Bro is not a great shooter or defender, but did average 7.2 assists per game last season. He'll be nothing more than a backup, hoping to hang on and make the final roster this season.
