The Mavericks have signed Pierre Jackson to a 10-day deal.
Jackson was with the Mavs earlier this season and averaged 3.0 points and 1.8 assists in 7.0 minutes per game through four appearances, so it's good to see him getting another chance. He's expected to be active for Sunday's game vs. the Wolves, but won't have much fantasy value while the Dallas backcourt is healthy. Jan 15 - 12:32 PM

The Mavericks are expected to sign Pierre Jackson to a 10-day deal as soon as Sunday.

The Mavs waived the PG after a four-game stint earlier in the season, but it's not a surprise that he's getting another chance because he's been lighting it up in the D-League. He won't have much fantasy value while the backcourt in Dallas is healthy.

Mavs waive G Pierre Jackson.

Well, the Mavs gave him a shot and he did have a ridiculous +33.4 net rating, but the team cut him. He deserves another shot.

Rick Carlisle liked what he saw from Pierre Jackson during his Dallas debut on Tuesday.

"I like his quickness, and I like his ability to score. He made a couple of good plays off pick-and-rolls, so I think he’s a guy that can help us a bit," Carlisle said while grading Jackson’s Dallas debut. "And look, it’s the first day I’ve ever really seen him play in person, but I like what I saw. I thought he went hard and did some good things." While this is all well and good, Jackson just isn't going to be getting enough minutes in Dallas to make a difference in most leagues while their backcourt is intact.

Pierre Jackson played 11 minutes and hit 2-of-5 shots and a 3-pointer for seven points and two assists in Tuesday's blowout 123-107 loss to the Rockets.

Jackson comes in with a lot of hype, but with Deron Williams and Devin Harris healthy, J.J. Barea recovering from an injury, and Seth Curry playing well, it is going to be tough for Pierre to do much damage in that lineup. However, we could see him being a boom-or-bust player over the last few weeks of the season, as it's clear Dallas will have nothing left to play for.

The Mavericks are signing D-League guard Pierre Jackson to a partially guaranteed two-year deal.

Jackson started this season playing overseas in Croatia before returning stateside to the D-League. Jackson was leading the D-League in scoring this season, at over 29 points per game. However, even with J.J. Barea (Achilles) likely out for a week or two, it will be tough for Jackson to find minutes in Dallas, as Deron Williams, Seth Curry, Devin Harris, and Wes Matthews are all currently healthy and playing relatively well. Dallas will likely have to cut Jonathan Gibson to carve out a roster spot for Jackson

Pierre Jackson has joined the Texas Legends and is expected to be in uniform for Thursday’s game against the Greensboro Swarm.

The Legends are the D-League affiliate for the Dallas Mavs and acquired Jackson in a trade. Jackson should get a ton of playing time and could be one of the top scorers in the D-League. Jackson was a star in the D-League before his torn Achilles, but he's cooled off as a prospect. We're hopeful he gets another shot in the NBA.

Pierre Jackson has agreed to a deal with Cedevita Zagreb in Croatia.

Jackson played for the Blazers during the summer league and attended a free agent camp with the Lakers, but he will have to continue waiting for his next shot to crack an NBA roster.

Pierre Jackson said on Tuesday he hasn't "felt like this in a while."

He's an easy guy to cheer for and hopefully gets another shot. Jackson has quite the shoe collection and he tweeted back on Aug. 3 he'd "be sick" if he didn't get on an NBA roster and Derek Fisher did. After a really nice run at Las Vegas with the Blazers, someone will bring Pappy Jack on board for camp. If he gets an invite to a team with sub-par guard depth, he's someone to watch in deep leagues.

Pierre Jackson was part of the Lakers free agent minicamp on Wednesday.

Jackson played with the Trail Blazers in Vegas Summer League, but is looking to hook on where he can. While Jackson has some upside, he's yet to log a minute of NBA action and shouldn't be on any draft lists.

Pierre Jackson led the Blazers with 18 points on Wednesday, hitting 8-of-18 shots with two 3-pointers, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Jackson is vying for a training-camp invite, but he's a long-shot to make the roster since Shabazz Napier already has a guaranteed deal as Damian Lillard's backup.

Pierre Jackson will play for the Blazers at the Las Vegas Summer League.

He was cut by the 76ers prior to the 2015-16 season, but injuries certainly played a part. Jackson is known for dropping 58 points in a D-League game back in 2014, but he's yet to log a single minute in the NBA.

Pierre Jackson will attend Knicks mini camp, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

Jackson will also work out for Portland and Dallas later this month, but will hope to hook on with the Knicks as an end-of-roster player or summer league invite. Jackson is still just 24 years old, but has yet to log one minute in the NBA and can be ignored by fantasy owners.

The Idaho Stampede added Pierre Jackson.

He was cut by the 76ers in preseason and will have to recover from his Achilles tear completely. Hopefully we can see Jackson and his super cool shoe collection.

76ers waive G Pierre Jackson.

It's just bad luck for a guy who scored 58 points in a D-League game two seasons ago. He had an Achilles tear two summers ago and it was clear his groin injury this month hurt his chances to make the team. If you like cool sneakers on NBA courts, this is a sad day.
