Tony Snell played just seven minutes against the Bucks on Saturday with no points, two rebounds and one turnover.
Nikola Mirotic returned and played a lot of small forward, so there was not much of an opportunity for the Snelly Cat. He'll continue to be the 8th-10th man in the rotation. Apr 25 - 8:33 PM

Tony Snell stepped up in a big way against the Bucks during a double-overtime win on Thursday, scoring 16 points with four 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

He was red hot late in the game and even played down the stretch over Mike Dunleavy. With Nikola Mirotic (knee) out, Snell had some wing minutes available and he's likely earned more of them for Game 4. He probably won't be playing this much and will probably be in the 13-17 range for Game 4, assuming he doesn't catch fire like he did today.

Tony Snell will shift back to the bench on Saturday vs. the 76ers now that Jimmy Butler (calf) has been cleared to play.

Snell managed just seven points, five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in a start vs. the Heat on Thursday, but to his credit he was solid on defense. As long as Butler stays on the court, Snell will have a limited role off the bench and can be dropped in most leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell drew the start against the Heat on Thursday with seven points, five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

His defense was terrific tonight, but he didn't look great on the offensive side. Coach Tom Thibodeau said he forgot to mention Jimmy Butler (calf) was out tonight and later told a Bulls PR member to reveal the info, so chances are Butler won't be out for too long. Leave Snell on the wire for now.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell will start in place of Jimmy Butler (calf) on Thursday against the Heat.

He'll join Derrick Rose, Mike Dunleavy, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah in the first unit. This group started the last game before the break, which was a big win over the Cavs. Snell is not going to be involved in the offense much, so he's only worth a look if you're desperately seeking a stream pickup.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell was invisible again on Sunday, scoring only two points in six minutes off the Bulls' bench.

Snell had a brief surge of fantasy value while Jimmy Butler was sidelined, but he's no longer an asset in any leagues. He's averaging 1.0 points over Chicago's past three games and could fall out of the rotation entirely once Derrick Rose (knee) returns.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell played 18 minutes on Wednesday against the Raptors with 17 points, one rebound, two assists and three 3-pointers.

That's an efficient line from a guy who couldn't do much when the Bulls needed him. Snell is unlikely to be playing more than 20 minutes often now that the Bulls are healthy besides Derrick Rose (knee). Keep him on the wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell played 16 minutes and didn't score on Monday against the Hornets.

Snell can be dropped basically everywhere. He'll need to work on scoring off the dribble in the offseason.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell made 1-of-8 from the field for two points with two boards and four assists against the Pistons on Saturday.

With Jimmy Butler (elbow) on schedule to return this week, Snell is someone most fantasy owners should be looking to drop. He was a disappointment overall with his added playing time, averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 boards, 0.8 steals and 1.5 treys on 40.7 percent from the field in his previous 20 starts this season.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell played a game-high 40 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday during a 103-86 win, scoring 14 points with eight boards, one assist and two 3-pointers.

After a really ugly run about two weeks ago, Snell has it going. In his last five, he's averaged 14.0 points, 5.8 boards, 0.8 steals and 2.8 treys on 40.0 percent from the field. Jimmy Butler (elbow) could be back this weekend, so Snell is going to be a popular drop candidate even with this big game.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

The bad Tony Snell showed up on Sunday as he scored just eight points on 3-of-10 shooting, to go with three assists, two 3-pointers and four rebounds through 38 minutes of action.

Snell has been wildly inconsistent for the Bulls, scoring eight, 17, 10, 21, and zero points in his previous five outings. He can be viewed as a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, but his inability to be effective on a nightly basis rules him out of the standard league conversation.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell made five 3-pointers against the Hornets on Friday with 17 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes.

He went back to his comfort zone of being more of a catch-and-shoot guy, which is a good thing because he really struggles off the dribble. Snell does have an expiration date on his value with Jimmy Butler hopeful to return later this month. If he is still on the wire in your league, it's probably for good reason even though he does have some upside in the next two weeks.
Mar 13 - 9:50 PM
Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell hit just 2-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer, and also committed seven turnovers, but still had 10 points and 10 rebounds in Wednesday's win.

Snell had 21 points and four 3-pointers on Monday and things appear to be headed in the right direction for him, at least until Jimmy Butler returns from his elbow injury. And it doesn't sound like Butler will be back in the next 10 days.
Mar 11 - 11:48 PM
Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell hit 7-of-13 shots in the Bulls' 101-91 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday, finishing with 21 points, three rebounds, two steals and four treys in 38 minutes.

Snell hit a lot of shots over the last month or two and we were in the midst of that market correction over the last week before tonight's mini-explosion. Give him a look, especially if you need threes in a standard league, but either way there isn't a ton of upside for Snell given his lack of versatility.
Mar 10 - 12:10 AM
Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell put up his third consecutive dud during Sunday's loss to the Spurs, going 0-of-6 from the field for zero points with just four rebounds and a steal over 29 minutes of action.

Snell is now shooting a putrid 26.7 percent from the field over the past four games, and while the minutes have been there, he's been nearly invisible on the stat sheet. He'll likely continue to log quality minutes with Jimmy Butler (elbow) out, but lately he's been doing more harm than good, and owners in standard leagues should probably consider moving on at this point.
