Tony Snell will start in place of Jimmy Butler (knee) on Saturday vs. the Wolves.
Butler could miss a few games because of his knee, but Mike Dunleavy (back) will be making his debut tonight which dampens the appeal for Snell. For now, leave Snell on the wire outside of the deepest of leagues. Feb 6 - 7:57 PM

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell started the second half for Jimmy Butler (knee) on Friday against the Nuggets with two points, one rebound and one block in 19 minutes.

He barely played in the first half with five minutes and Mike Dunleavy (back) is going to be back Saturday. Snell isn't a great fit in the first unit and isn't a pickup yet.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell made a spot start for Jimmy Butler (knee) on Wednesday with nine points, seven rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Mike Dunleavy (back) will be back on Saturday and Jimmy Butler (knee) is only day-to-day, so Snell probably won't have much value beyond Friday.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell will start against the Kings on Wednesday in place of Jimmy Butler (knee).

He will get his best chance to earn minutes going forward because Mike Dunleavy (back) could be back this weekend. Leave Snell on the wire.
Feb 3 - 9:18 PM
Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell scored three points in the starting lineup on Friday with five rebounds and one 3-pointer.

This was an odd call to start Snell, who hasn't played well so far this year with one game as an exception. Even as a starter, he can be ignored in almost all leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell will start at small forward on Friday with Nikola Mirotic shifting to a reserve role.

Snell is shooting better from downtown (39.4 percent) than he is overall this season (38.3 percent), and he's not a likely source of value even as a starter. In 21 starts this year he's averaged a mere 5.2 points, 1.0 triples, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists, while fighting for minutes with both Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell scored a season-high 22 points against the Raptors on Monday with seven rebounds, one assist, one block and four 3-pointers.

He scored 16 points in the fourth quarter for the most surprising 20-point game of the night. Snell was going to be out of the rotation, but the injury to Doug McDermott (knee) allowed him to play tonight. Snell is not a pickup in almost any league.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell picked up a DNP-CD in Monday's loss to the Nets.

Snell was benched in favor of Nikola Mirotic, but he wasn't a reliable fantasy asset even when he was the starter. Leave Snell on the wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell will come off the bench on Monday vs. the Nets.

The Bulls are moving Nikola Mirotic to the three because they want Bobby Portis to play more, so Snell loses most of his value with this report. Leave Snell on the wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell played 38 minutes against the Pistons on Friday with three points, four rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Snelly Cat was busy with 19.5 minutes in overtime for this one. He has pretty good net rating numbers with the starters, but he has horrible per-minute numbers for fantasy. Leave him on the wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell scored a season-high 16 points against the 76ers on Monday with 11 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

It was just his second double-double of his career. Snell had 13 points in the third quarter and is just another wing to put up a big game against the 76ers. Leave him on the wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell started Saturday's game but played only 12 minutes, going scoreless with one assist and no other stats to his credit.

If you're surprised, you haven't been paying attention -- Snell's minutes have drifted downward for weeks and Doug McDermott is playing with increased confidence off the bench. No matter where he's beginning games, Snell belongs on your waiver wire.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell's funk continued on Wednesday as he failed to score in 19 minutes as the Bulls' starting small forward.

He finished with one rebound, two assists and three turnovers. Snell is shooting 37.5 percent from the field this season but oddly he's on fire from downtown, making 1.6 triples at a 47.1 percent clip. Nothing about his current role suggests he'll be a reliable fantasy contributor.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell played 29 minutes in the starting lineup on Monday with six points, three boards, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

He was actually pretty bad in this amount of playing time. Snell had a bad turnover late in the game due to a charge and he had one of the worst shots you'll ever see with 19 seconds left on the shot clock. Snell shouldn't have much fantasy value. You can check out the bad shot in the link below.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bulls

Tony Snell will start against the Pacers on Monday with Doug McDermott coming off the bench.

The Bulls will stick with Nikola Mirotic and Pau Gasol in their starting frontcourt. Snell will likely be guarding Paul George here to help take some pressure off Jimmy Butler. Snell isn't a fantasy option.
