The Wolves reportedly have a "tepid interest" in acquiring Tony Snell at the deadline.
Wolves head coach Tom Thibodeau coached Snell when he was in Chicago and it's no secret that Minnesota could use some help on the wings with Zach LaVine (knee) out for the season and Lance Stephenson's 10-day contract off the books. It's not crazy to think that Snell could start on the Wolves next to Andrew Wiggins, but this report is firmly in the rumor stage and Snell doesn't have much upside anyways. He's not worth stashing right now. Feb 20 - 9:54 PM

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell hit 5-of-11 shots and four 3-pointers for 16 points, two rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes of Monday's win over the Pistons.

Snell scored 20 points back in December, but this was the second time this season he scored 16 points. He also had 13 points on Saturday and has hit at least one 3-pointer five straight games. He's played his best ball of the season over his last two games, averaging 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.0 3-pointers, but we'll need to see him do it again on Wednesday against the Nets before declaring him worthy of your fantasy roster. Just keep an eye on him on Wednesday, but keep in mind he also has a good matchup against a bad Brooklyn team that night.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell started on Wednesday but was quiet with six points, two rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes vs. the Heat.

Snell has been invisible for fantasy purposes, even as a starter, and Khris Middleton's return should officially seal his fate. The potential loss of Jabari Parker (left knee) could throw a wrench into Jason Kidd's rotations, but Snell is unlikely to benefit much if at all.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell scored four points with one steal in 19 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday.

He gets a lot of credit for holding down the fort as the starter, but Khris Middleton (hamstring) will be coming back and taking most of his minutes. It's time to drop the Snelly Cat in most leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell scored three points with three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Knicks on Wednesday.

You know a player is in a slump when a 39-year-old Jason Terry is taking his minutes. Snell didn't play at all in the fourth because of Terry and the Bucks were great closing this out with this move. Still, Snell played 28.5 minutes per game in his previous 10, which should be close to where he'll be most nights. Even with Khris Middleton (hamstring) out, Snell is still nowhere near worth owning in standard leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell played 29 minutes and hit 7-of-14 shots and a career-high six 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 20 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals on Monday.

After scoring in single figures in six straight games, he's now hit double digits in three of his last five. Maybe he's heating up and ready to keep it going, but even with tonight's game, he's averaging just 10.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five. Just keep an eye on him in case the Bucks are going to start using him like this consistently. Chances are, he just got hot from downtown tonight.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell scored 13 points with five rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Nets on Thursday.

He's been a somewhat reliable shooter with at least one 3-pointer in all but one November game. Snell played 30.1 minutes per game in November, averaging 9.5 points, 4.4 boards, 1.2 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.8 treys. His 14.0 usage rate on the season indicates his limited upside.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell got hot vs. the Raptors on Friday, making 6-of-12 shots with four 3-pointers to finish with 16 points.

Snell added three rebounds and his scoring helped keep the Bucks in the game, but they came up short in a 105-99 home loss. Snell has scored double-digit points just five times this season and he's only worth owning if you need 3-pointers in a deep league.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell played 32 minutes against the Heat on Thursday with 14 points, six rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers.

The Bucks have been mixing up their lineup combos, but Snell has played over 30 minutes in four of his last five. In that span, he's averaged 9.2 points, 3.4 boards, 1.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 2.2 treys. He's more of a deep-league or a streaming guy, but he should be useful in treys.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell played 33 minutes against the Pelicans on Thursday with seven points, four rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

His minutes are soaring with 36 against the Mavs on Sunday and 30.8 in his last five. In that span, Snell averaged 8.4 points, 4.6 boards, 1.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 1.6 treys. Despite the minutes spike, he's still not going to offer much upside for owners in standard leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell played 36 minutes on Sunday but he was very quiet statistically with five points, two rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer and three turnovers.

The Bucks were playing in the second half of a back-to-back set after blowing out the Kings on Saturday, but Kidd didn't hesitate to give big minutes to Snell, Jabari Parker (39 minutes) and Matthew Dellavedova (33 minutes). Snell shot 1-of-7 from deep tonight, with just one shot coming inside the arc, and he's too unreliable to own in standard leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell scored 14 points against the Pacers on Thursday with one rebound, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

He's off to a great start with his new team with a double-double coming in his last game. Snell is getting a lot of open shots due to defenses collapsing on the stars of the Bucks and they don't have much wing depth behind him either. He's going to cool off, but he's worth a look for owners in 14-team leagues.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell double-doubled vs. the Pelicans on Tuesday with 13 points (5-of-12 FGs), 10 rebounds, two assists and three treys in 33 minutes.

This smells like a fluke, but coach Jason Kidd did say that he wanted to get Snell more playing time -- he played 21 minutes in his debut and 26 in his previous outing. The Bucks are looking for someone to step up on the wings in the absence of Khris Middleton (groin), but most fantasy owners should use a wait-and-see approach here.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Jason Kidd said he believes he can keep increasing Tony Snell's minutes.

Snell started and played 26 minutes on Sunday, and it sounds like Kidd would like to eventually get that number to around 30. Snell won't be very involved in the Bucks' offense, so his minutes allotment doesn't mean all that much in fantasy hoops.

Tony Snell - G/F - Bucks

Tony Snell started again on Sunday and had four points on 2-of-7 shooting, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes.

Jason Terry was out for personal reasons, opening up a few extra minutes in the rotation, but none of the Bucks' swingmen took advantage. Rashad Vaughn chipped in five points in 22 minutes, while Malcolm Brogdon added six points in 17 minutes, and this is a situation to avoid in the majority of leagues.
