Free agent Nate Wolters has signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Denver Nuggets.

Wolters spent the 2015-16 season with Besiktas Sompo Japan of the Turkish league, appearing in 31 total games (28 starts) and averaging 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.06 steals in 30.5 minutes per game. The Nuggets have invited 20 players to training camp which makes it unlikely that Wolters will make the 15-man roster.

Free agent Nate Wolters has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Denver Nuggets.

Wolters, originally a second round pick in the 2013 NBA draft, played in Turkey last season. Back in 2014-15, he appeared in 11 games for the Bucks and 10 games for the Pelicans. He will start training camp buried on the PG depth chart behind Emmanuel Mudiay and Jameer Nelson, thus it's unlikely Wolters makes a fantasy impact in 2016-17.

Nate Wolters (sore ankle) will not suit up for Tuesday's summer league game vs. the Nets.

Wolters is fighting for a roster spot in Washington, so him sitting out of games isn't great regarding his chances of making the team. Even if he is able to wind up on the Wizards' regular-season roster, he'll be a non-option in all leagues as the team's third-string point guard.

The Wizards have added Nate Wolters to their Vegas Summer League roster.

After playing in Turkey last season, Wolters is now attempting to make an NBA roster at summer league. While Wolters is a former All-American, he's also unlikely to make the Wizards roster and can be ignored by fantasy owners.
Jul 7 - 12:09 PM

Nate Wolters has officially signed a deal with Besiktas in Turkey.

Wolters was hoping to get another shot in the NBA during the summer league, but those hopes were dashed when he suffered a broken middle finger. It's possible that we will eventually see him get another chance with an NBA club, but it's safe to ignore him in fantasy leagues for the foreseeable future.

Nate Wolters suffered a broken middle finger fracture on his left hand on Monday.

He will miss the rest of summer league and this injury usually requires 4-6 weeks on the sidelines. Wolters finished his season in the D-League last year and is likely headed there again.

Grand Rapids acquired the rights to Nate Wolters on Friday.

Wolters was just added to the D-League and Grand Rapids could move him in a deal. He was let go by the Pelicans last month and could wind up with an NBA team at some point due to an injury. He can be ignored in all formats for now.

The Pelicans are going to let Nate Wolters' second 10-day contract without signing him to a new deal.

Even though the Pelicans are playing without Jrue Holiday (leg), Wolters has only seen 11 minutes of playing time over New Orleans' last three games. The 23-year-old may hook on as a bench player somewhere else, but he can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

The Pelicans have signed Nate Wolters to another 10-day contract on Saturday.

Despite the absence of Jrue Holiday (leg), Wolters has averaged just 2.6 points, 2.2 boards and 0.8 assists in 11 minutes per contest in New Orleans so far. Needless to say, Wolters should be left on the wire.

Nate Wolters came off New Orleans' bench for two points, one assist and one steal in seven minutes vs. the Raptors on Sunday.

This was Wolters' second appearance since joining the Pelicans on a 10-day contract, and he's failed to create fantasy value despite the absence of Jrue Holiday (ankle). It wouldn't be surprising to see Wolters earn another 10-day deal as emergency depth at PG, but he's not on the radar in standard fantasy leagues.

Nate Wolters will be available to play on Wednesday against Detroit.

After being waived by the Bucks, the Pelicans quickly signed him to a 10-day contract in order to bolster their backcourt depth. Wolters could see some playing time should Jrue Holiday (ankle) miss any action, so owners in deep leagues should put him on their radar.

The Pelicans have signed Nate Wolters to a 10-day contract on Tuesday.

He just recently cleared waivers after the Bucks waived him and it didn't take long for the Pelicans to swoop in and sign him up. Wolters could see some playing time in the short-term with Jrue Holiday suffering an ankle injury on Monday, but with Jimmer Fredette in his way it would be hard to recommend taking a flier on Wolters outside of ridiculously deep leagues.

The Pelicans are expected to sign Nate Wolters to a 10-day contract.

Nothing is official yet, but we will continue to follow this story closely. Regardless of where Wolters lands, he likely won't have much fantasy value so there is no need to grab him in most leagues.
Tue, Jan 13, 2015 07:05:00 PM

Nate Wolters is free to sign with any team after clearing waivers.

Wolters is now an unrestricted free agent after being waived by the Bucks. The Timberwolves have already shown interest in his services so he's bound to catch on somewhere, but fantasy owners in standard leagues can ignore the 23-year-old as he won't provide much value as a bench player.
