The Pelicans have signed Nate Wolters to another 10-day contract on Saturday.
Despite the absence of Jrue Holiday (leg), Wolters has averaged just 2.6 points, 2.2 boards and 0.8 assists in 11 minutes per contest in New Orleans so far. Needless to say, Wolters should be left on the wire. Jan 24 - 12:10 PM

Nate Wolters came off New Orleans' bench for two points, one assist and one steal in seven minutes vs. the Raptors on Sunday.

This was Wolters' second appearance since joining the Pelicans on a 10-day contract, and he's failed to create fantasy value despite the absence of Jrue Holiday (ankle). It wouldn't be surprising to see Wolters earn another 10-day deal as emergency depth at PG, but he's not on the radar in standard fantasy leagues.
Jan 18 - 7:06 PM

Nate Wolters will be available to play on Wednesday against Detroit.

After being waived by the Bucks, the Pelicans quickly signed him to a 10-day contract in order to bolster their backcourt depth. Wolters could see some playing time should Jrue Holiday (ankle) miss any action, so owners in deep leagues should put him on their radar.
Jan 14 - 10:24 AM

The Pelicans have signed Nate Wolters to a 10-day contract on Tuesday.

He just recently cleared waivers after the Bucks waived him and it didn't take long for the Pelicans to swoop in and sign him up. Wolters could see some playing time in the short-term with Jrue Holiday suffering an ankle injury on Monday, but with Jimmer Fredette in his way it would be hard to recommend taking a flier on Wolters outside of ridiculously deep leagues.
Jan 13 - 8:32 PM

The Pelicans are expected to sign Nate Wolters to a 10-day contract.

Nothing is official yet, but we will continue to follow this story closely. Regardless of where Wolters lands, he likely won't have much fantasy value so there is no need to grab him in most leagues.
Jan 13 - 7:05 PM

Nate Wolters is free to sign with any team after clearing waivers.

Wolters is now an unrestricted free agent after being waived by the Bucks. The Timberwolves have already shown interest in his services so he's bound to catch on somewhere, but fantasy owners in standard leagues can ignore the 23-year-old as he won't provide much value as a bench player.
Jan 13 - 1:39 PM

The Wolves are "surely" interested in Nate Wolters.

The Wolves would lose some money should they pursue Wolters, so it does seem a bit unlikely. Wolters will catch on at some point, but he won't really have much value unless he winds up on the 76ers.
Jan 9 - 5:17 PM

Nate Wolters has officially been waived by the Bucks to make room for Kenyon Martin.

Wolters will likely be able to land a deal with another NBA team, but he's nothing more than a backup point guard, and likely won't be able to sustain any fantasy value wherever he lands. Martin may be able to offer some short-term value as the Bucks currently only have three other healthy big men on the roster, so owners in deep leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with the 15-year veteran.
Jan 9 - 9:58 AM

The Bucks are expected to waive Nate Wolters this week to clear a roster spot for Kenyon Martin.

Wolters picked up three straight DNP-CDs prior to playing 21 minutes on Wednesday and he shouldn't be on any fantasy rosters. His departure will solidify Kendall Marshall's bench role, but that's about it.
Jan 8 - 11:36 AM

Nate Wolters never left the Bucks' bench on Tuesday.

He was available to play on Saturday but picked up a DNP-CD in that game also, and his inactivity doesn't seem to be related to his recent illness. We're taking him off the injury report, and any fantasy owners still holding him should cut bait without hesitation.
Tue, Dec 2, 2014 09:53:00 PM

Nate Wolters is available to play on Saturday against the Rockets.

He is getting over an illness and is not guaranteed to play tonight. Walters has very little fantasy value.
Sat, Nov 29, 2014 07:36:00 PM

Nate Wolters (flu) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Pistons, and will not make the Bucks' two game road trip.

Wolters is averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 this season on 33.3 percent shooting from the field, so his absence will go largely unnoticed in most fantasy circles.
Tue, Nov 25, 2014 06:45:00 PM

Nate Wolters (illness) did not practice on Monday.

The illness is new, and there's no word on a timetable, so we're going to mark him as sidelined for the time being. Wolters hasn't been blurbed in over a month, and he's an absolute non-factor in fantasy leagues this season under Jason Kidd.
Mon, Nov 24, 2014 01:48:00 PM

Nate Wolters came on late in Wednesday's loss to the Wolves, making 6-of-8 from the field for 14 points with one assist and one turnover in 16 minutes.

Kendall Marshall had the night off tonight and Wolters is probably still behind him for point guard minutes. Fantasy owners can ignore him in most cases.
Wed, Oct 22, 2014 11:16:00 PM

Nate Wolters (ankle) returned to action on Monday against the Knicks, scoring 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting with two rebounds, four assists and one three in 22 minutes off the bench.

Wolters was a pleasant surprise last season but he's vying for minutes in an increasingly crowded group and he has no fantasy value until that all shakes out.
