Solomon Hill played 36 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday with 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers.
He played the entire first quarter and hasn't been affected too much with Tyreke Evans getting more run. Hill is going to be responsible for taking 3-pointers in the first unit, but he only has value in deeper leagues with a low usage rate. Jan 14 - 7:53 PM

Solomon Hill double-doubled against the Nets on Thursday with 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

It's his first double-double of the season with his last one coming in April coincidentally against the Nets. Hill obviously benefitted with Anthony Davis (hip) not playing, but it also helped that the Pelicans center were flat-out awful to open up more frontcourt minutes. Hill could have some short-term value, but Davis' injury sounds minor.

Solomon Hill played 17 minutes against the Celtics on Saturday with four points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

With Donatas Motiejunas in town, Hill is going to lose some minutes going forward. He didn't have much value anyway.

Solomon Hill moved into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Mavericks and scored 10 points with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two triples in 31 minutes.

He was back in the starting lineup because coach Alvin Gentry wanted to match up with the small-ball lineup of the Mavs. This was one of Hill's best games of the season and he finished 2-of-5 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line, but he's not a lock to keep his starting job. He had season averages of 5.6 points and 3.7 rebounds prior to Monday, so we'd like to see another strong performance before we could get behind an add.

Solomon Hill will start on Monday vs. the Mavericks.

Alexis Ajinca will come off the bench. The Pelicans are simply matching up with the small-ball lineup for the Mavs, as Anthony Davis will shift to center to matchup with Dirk Nowitzki. Hill is not a fantasy asset and has season averages of 5.6 points and 3.7 rebounds. The Pelicans probably want that $52 million back.

Solomon Hill moved to the bench on Friday, where he picked up three points on 1-of-6 shooting, two boards and one steal in 24 minutes.

Hill was already a liability outside of deep leagues, despite playing 27.8 minutes per game, so even if the bench role sticks it won't have a major fantasy implication. Dante Cunningham took his spot at SF tonight but neither is worth owning in leagues with fewer than 16 teams.

Solomon Hill will come off the bench on Friday vs. the Heat.

He averages 23.5 minutes as a reserve compared to 29.4 minutes as a starter. He was never worth owning before this demotion, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues. Dante Cunningham will get the start.

Solomon Hill played 33 minutes against the 76ers on Tuesday, making 1-of-2 from the field for two points with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.

He is not involved in the offense too much these days with only a 4.4 usage rate in his last two active games. Hill figures to lose some minutes to Tyreke Evans (rest) at some point, but Hill didn't have much value to begin with.

Solomon Hill (personal) will play Tuesday vs. the Sixers.

Hill had missed two games to be with his family for the birth of his first child. Hill's return to the starting lineup will bump E'Twaun Moore back to the bench. Hill has had a disappointing season thus far, he is averaging 5.9 points and 3.8 rebounds, while shooting just 37.0 percent from the floor.

Solomon Hill (birth of child) isn't with the Pelicans for Sunday's game in San Antonio.

E'Twaun Moore will likely pick up another start tonight, but Hill could rejoin the team for Tuesday's game in Philly.

Solomon Hill (personal) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Sunday.

He missed Friday night to witness the birth of his first child. With Hill out on Friday, E'Twaun Moore got the start while while it was a team effort to pick up Hill's minutes. The 25-year-old University of Arizona product doesn't have much value right now.

Solomon Hill (personal) will not play against the Rockets on Friday.

We're happy to hear it's for good news with Hill awaiting the birth of his first child. With Hill out of the lineup along with Tyreke Evans (rest), the Pelicans will be rolling with a ton of three-guard lineups, so expect more run for Langston Galloway, Buddy Hield and Tim Frazier. This also helps Terrence Jones slightly, too.

Solomon Hill (personal) is questionable for Friday night against the Rockets.

We're not sure what's up with Hill on the personal reasons, but hopefully everything is OK. If he can't go, there will be even more minutes for Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway, Terrence Jones and E'Twaun Moore. We should get an update on Hill at around 6:30 EST.
Fri, Dec 16, 2016 02:39:00 PM

Solomon Hill started again and hit 5-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 12 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes on Tuesday.

He's averaging 32.6 minutes over his last five games, but that has resulted in just 9.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 3-pointers on 46 percent shooting. He's not worth owning in fantasy leagues right now, despite the heavy minutes.
Tue, Dec 13, 2016 11:31:00 PM

Solomon Hill started Sunday's game but he played just 18 minutes, posting five points, two boards, two assists and one steal.

Hill had played at least 30 minutes in four straight games prior to tonight, but his role shrank with healthy bodies returning to the lineup. Hill's usage rate of 10.5 percent speaks volumes about his role offensively, and he simply doesn't have much fantasy upside.
